Youtube daily report Dec 22 2017

Melania Trump copied Michelle Obama again but this time, it's a brilliant political

move.

Melania Trump seems to have a new favorite shirt.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump spent part of Thanksgiving

Day with members of the U.S. Coast Guard in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Melania's shirt immediately caught our eye a $75 button down from J. Crew.

The first lady had previously worn the shirt when returning from Camp David.

The first lady has developed a balancing act between her typical high-fashion looks which

usually cost a couple of thousand of dollars and clothing she wears when she's making

public visits to promote certain causes.

While Melania will wear a $3,000 coat to the annual turkey pardoning, she'll change into

a button down and baseball cap to spend time with the Coast Guard.

It's the same strategy that leads the first lady to wear stilettos while leaving the White

house, but change into her baseball cap and sneakers on the plane.

Michelle Obama became famous for her appreciation of Target and J. Crew fashion during her time

as first lady.

Obama used fashion to appear as an accessible yet aspirational "mom-in-chief" a look

that Melania Trump seems to be adopting herself.

First Lady Trump was famously criticized for giving a Republican National Committee speech

that was eerily similar to one that Michelle Obama gave in 2008.

That isn't to say that Trump is necessarily trying to exactly replicate Obama's style.

Obama was primarily known for her more accessible fashion choices, with dresses priced at more

than $1,000 as the exception not the rule.

However, Melania Trump is learning that, when it comes to certain public appearances, going

for a more accessible look can pay off.

And, that might require repeating a few J. Crew button downs.

Thread Review - Online Personal Stylist Website - Duration: 5:18.

Hello this is a very quick look at Thread.com. This is a website I reviewed quite

a while ago on my own website and it's had loads of interest on this I thought

I'd do a quick video review. This is basically an online stylist for you, it

will give you ideas for the menswear or womenswear, i've already signed up

but just as a quick demo of what you can expect when you are signing up you'll

have to give them a fair chunk of information just to really help them out,

so you can select the kind of brands that you're interested in, you click

click click, and say next. You can then select the kind of weekend style so it's

very pictorial I really like this because you can go well I really like

that look, and I might like that look, and I might like that look, and you can pick as

many as you want, and for work, so I wear say suits at work, I want some smart

looking clothes.

And this helps build up a picture for the stylist just to give

them an idea of the kind of clothes that you like to wear.

Next up you have to set your budget

so obviously they've done a pre-selected budget of being kind of

medium but you can select lower or much higher, depending on what you want

to go for, and finally you need to select your sizes, this makes sure that when you

are shopping whether it's in the regular shop or sale shop, you don't have to wade

through a load of stuff and go oh I really like that and then end up with

something that doesn't fit. So once you've filled all this out,

tick-tick-tick, and username/password or continue with Facebook. If some reason

you've made a mistake you can go and adjust your options in the settings area

but once you've signed up you will then be assigned a stylist, I have Luke, and

each week you will get a selection of outfits to take a look at, so they'll say

look here's the look and these are the items that can make up that look.

You get to say whether you like it or dislike it, so I don't really like

that, you can click on the dislike and "why don't I like it?" I don't want them.

Simple as that! They'll provide a range of suggestions and you're welcome

to ignore them or take them generally you'll get full outfit selections but

you can also get a range of similar items so here we have different hoodies

for you to take a look at and see what you prefer and they also have a section

for where you can browse if you want to browse for something in particular they

also have a good sale and how this operates is you will pick the items that

you're interested in and you'll see that they're from all sorts of different

places. You will then place your order and don't expect you to arrive next day,

this is the slightly frustrating bit with Thread, you are gonna have to

wait because they have to collect the items from different places and pull

them all together. This is a completely free website, they will be making their

money by getting a kickback when they sell items but I have found the prices

generally are very good, very competitive, and the only difference being that you

can't use your own discount or cashback option when you're using Thread so if

you spot something and it's on Topman for example and you know you can get a

discount there you're better off getting it directly from Topman. I did have a

different stylist for a while, Kassia, but she left but as you can see

you can then communicate with them if you want to. They also have a good

section on different tips just to help you understand what to wear

Christmas parties and what things go together,

all sorts of really useful hints and tips. When you're older arrives it's very

well packed, comes in one box, and they can use CollectPlus as well, which is

really great, so you you have to be in to have this, just get it delivered to a

CollectPlus store. Returns are very easy, they're also free, you simply take the

items you want to send back and send them back via the included instructions.

All you then need to do is take out your items and give them a try on.

Anything you like you keep, anything you dislike you send back, it's that easy

There's no subscription to using this website, it's a completely free website

to use, the only thing you'll have to bear in mind is there is a cost for

shipping if you use click and collect it's £2.99, if you want standard delivery

£3.99, and if you spend over £75, which is quite easy to do when you buying

a lot of clothes, it's free delivery. Thread do have a referral system, I've put

my referral link in the description below in case you want to go check this

out, I have used Thread on and off for a few years now I have to say generally

it's pretty good, it's a great way of sourcing clothes that you may not have

time to go around searching all the different areas for and I found some

stuff that I wouldn't necessarily have found by just going to Next for example.

Just keep in mind that you can sometimes get slight better deals if you use cash

back and go to the websites directly. I hope you found this short review useful

if you have please consider hit the subscribe button thanks for watching

I'll see you next time.

DIY Wood Coasters - Duration: 3:31.

Hi everyone, I'm Marie from DIY Montreal.

Today I want to show you a quick DIY project that you can make as a gift: DIY wooden drink coasters.

I started by grabbing some scrap pieces of wood.

For this project I chose to use maple and walnut.

I cut them up into thinner strips so I could make a random pattern, alternating between

types of wood.

My goal was to make a blank that was at least 16 inches long by 3 and three quarter inches

wide, with a thickness of about half an inch.

Once I had all my strips ready, I laid some clamps open on their backs.

I like to use Bessey K-body clamps for this because they provide a flat stable surface.

I flipped all the pieces on edge and applied a generous amount of glue, spreading it over

the entire surface with a glue brush.

I then flipped the pieces back up and clamped them all together.

I always like to add scrap pieces on each end to eliminate the risk of leaving any indentations

on the workpiece, especially from these F-clamps that I'm adding.

After the glue had dried overnight, I removed the clamps and ran the blank through my planer,

alternating sides, until both sides were even and smooth, and until I had reached my desired

thickness of about three eighths of an inch.

I lightly sanded the blank with my orbital sander before moving over to my table saw.

I used a crosscut sled for this, but you can always use a mitre saw instead.

I started by squaring up one end of the board, then set a stop block to 3-3/4 inches, which

is the same as the width of the board.

I then proceeded to cut the 4 coasters.

I lightly sanded all the edges just to make them less sharp.

Next I moved onto the base.

I used a piece of poplar to match the poplar dowel I would be using.

My poplar board was already 4 inches wide, so I simply set a stop block to 4 inches and

used my crosscut sled to make the cut.

I did the same for the dowels, setting a stop block at 2-1/2 inches and using it as a guide

to make the cuts.

Don't forget to check out my written article for all the details and measurements.

I'll leave a description in the link below.

I maked the base for where I would drill the peg holes.

I used my combination square and marked one half inch from each edge.

I double checked everything would fit using one of the coasters, just to be safe.

I then headed over to my drill press and made the holes using a half inch spade.

A Forstner bit would have been better, but somehow I seem to every size but that one.

I did a dry fit then sanded the base.

I then added some glue to the holes and set the pegs into place.

I put a light weight on top and let it dry overnight.

They look so amazing already, I almost want to leave them as is, but that would be a terrible

idea given these will be in contact with moisture.

You could go straight to poly, but I wanted to give the grain a more rich color, so I

started by applying some natural-color Danish oil.

I let it dry for 3 days as recommended, then added a top coat of oil-based poly.

Tesla Model S 90D: Rated Range Degradation 47000 Miles 86 Weeks Ownership W/Chart - Duration: 2:47.

we'll be the forty-seven thousand mile range update getting close to that

bumper-to-bumper warranty going away outside temperature is 44

degrees it was 55 about when we plugged in charging complete at 270 rated miles

we added 206 rated miles today while we were shopping we actually charged up

today on a cha demos station which seemed to give a little bit better of a

finishing charge I guess let's see the car thinks the battery pack capacity is

seventy eight point one kilowatt hours although the car also says that the

battery pack contains seventy eight point three kilowatt whores total

lifetime discharges twenty point nine seven seven megawatts total lifetime

charge is twenty-two point five nine zero megawatts so we put enough power

into this car since I bought it that we could power a small city for a few days

current balance is a 11 millivolts the car stopped charging at 99.9 percent

battery pack temperature is 99 degrees as a high in a low oven 96.3 the highest

I saw was about 110 although since we used HIV most station the battery did

not get as high as it would usually

so

yeah we're practically cooked this poor Nissan sling so I'm gonna unplug now and

that's it for the 77 thousand mile range update
