Hi guys my name is Noelle and today I wanted to show you how I like to cover
up any kind of blemish or acne that I might have and I find these videos super
helpful because it allows you to see how other people do it and you can try out
tips and tricks for yourself because not everybody's acne is the same and not
everybody's skin is the same so I've just finished doing my makeup and as you
can see I don't have any real large blemishes that you can see underneath my
makeup but it still looks like my skin so you can still see I have kind of some
beauty marks and some freckles it I haven't covered everything up so the way
I like to do this is put heavy coverage where I need it and kind of use my
medium to light coverage on the rest of my face you can see right now my skin's
not doing so great I have some breakouts and on both sides of my face so I
figured it'd be a good way to show you my favorite way to cover up acne so my
face is already washed and moisturized so I'm all ready to go so what I first
like to start off with is a heavy moisturizer on specifically where I
might have a breakout so I like to do this for ones that feel a little bit
more dry if they're kind of that I can't feel like in kind of dry skin patches
and I don't like to do this to them but I like to do that some ones that feel
dry just so my foundation or concealer whatever I'm going to put on my face
doesn't catch on them so what I like to use for this is Peter Thomas Roth Water
Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream it's a mouthful so I like this one because it
has it's a moisturizer but it has a very silicone base so it almost feels like
a primer and I like to take just a little bit and kind of feel around where
it's a little bit more dry
and just kind of place it on any spots that I'm planning on putting
concealer on and I just like to take the moment leftover moisturizer and kind of
put it right in there kind of where I get bigger pores next I like to use a
pot concealer and I like to use this to cover up any blemish that I know is
going to come through after I put on foundation I like to use more of a
medium coverage foundation as opposed to heavy coverage because I don't really
need it everywhere I just need more coverage in certain select spots so the
pot concealer I like to use is the mac studio finish concealer and this is a
very heavy concealer and I actually like to use it with my fingers and I'm just
kind of place it where I know I know this pimple here is gonna come through
after foundation so I just like to cover it up doesn't have to be blended out
perfectly because you're gonna put foundation over this
I do prefer to use my finger for this step just because I feel like it helps my it
helps the concealer melt more into the skin and it just has a nice a better
finish I feel like then when I use a brush
and I really just like to go on and more the bigger one more of like this smaller
just like dark spots things like that I know that my foundation will pretty much
cover so now that we're done with the concealer it does look a little bit
splotchy in areas but I'm not too concerned about that once I put
foundation over it it will give more of a seamless blend I'm gonna take my
favorite medium coverage foundation and my Beauty Blender I'm gonna pump it
back on the back of my hand I'm gonna just dot it all over my face
I'm just gonna start blending this out with my Beauty Blender
so now that my foundations all blended out and I'm looking a bit one tone I like to
go back in with that original concealer and just kind of touch up on any spots
that I can still see peering through and you can see a little bit here so I'm
just going to take a little bit more of that concealer
and again with my finger kind of blend it out then I like to take a little bit
more of my foundation just a little bit just to help blend that in
next I like to go in with a liquid concealer and just kind of get
everywhere that I normally would and kind of look around and see any spots that
still look a little bit dark I'm just gonna blend that out with the beauty
blender next I like to take my setting powder and I'm just gonna set anywhere
that I put either that cream or that liquid concealer
alright so I'm just gonna go ahead and finish up the rest of my makeup so I did
have a blemish in this upper cheek area so I'm gonna be be careful about where I
put my highlighter I'm gonna kind of go right around it because I don't want to
bring emphasis back to it
so we went ahead and finished up my makeup I put on a little bit of bronzer
and highlight and you can't really see any of the blemishes that I have underneath
but it still looks like my natural skin and this mostly comes from using a more
medium coverage foundation so you really put on heavy coverage where you need it
and then your regular coverage where you don't so you avoid that really cakey
look this is what I found has covered up my acne the best without it looking
cakey or too heavy of a coverage I hope you found this helpful if you did give
