Very, very nice, stylish binding from Nitro

Originally intended for the freestyle sector. But of course also applicable in all other areas.

The special thing about this binding is that you have an aluminum heel cup that is adjustable in size.

- Well... We can see how those satives are a little bit taller... They're hybrid plants from Sensi Seeds... They're doing a

- selection to choose what they want to work with... Sensi has great seeds... Not only feminized, you can get it regular

- to select and get major quality mothers. Indica strains are not so tall, and more reduced interknots space,

- so we don't need tall plants to get nice production. It will give great production specially if we improve ph absortion,

- and if you have accurate ec measurements, you'll optimize maximum results. If we follow Advanced Nutrients table,

- take a look at it in our description section, will be easy if you've got standard values... If not you'll have to modify trying

- to adapt it to your garden. Other factors can modify it like your irrigation frequence

- that could variate bases quantity. I want to detach those seeds too... They planted it later but it adapted perfectly.

- Cheese Mass by Mr. Hide seeds... Great results for sure, pretty strong growth... They've reached the others.

- They had other idea in the beginning... But it started bloom and the others, at nice distance and well feeded,

- Well we talked about disposition... Let's focus on details that could improve results... Even in your garden.

- Alkalyne water is important to irrigate... Ec control will help the plant to get maximum development

- bigger fruits, getting more weight and better harvests... We also know that's positive to use draining and increase

- irrigation's frecuence, avoiding oversinking the plant. Nice draining, reflection, aeration, ventilation, light power and

- distance control are nice details to get our garden's maximum. Monocultivation is important too... Not this time, but

- it's nice to work your strain in detail. It will always be positive. If you want to enjoy a garden to get

- your 2-3 months consumption dose... Only a variety could be excessive... You could get bored so

- quantity is not always the most important so... You can get a few different flavours for different moments of the day...

- Satives, Indicas... Different levels between them. You'll get major production in mono cultivation,

- because you can care it at detail, obtaining better results easily.

- You can control Ec in every season... If you have a few differents... You'll have to use an average.

- It will be correct for almost all varieties, but in a few sative strains, it's nice to cut nitrogen in growth

- to avoid problems in bloom. Ec is an important parametter, that will determine if it absorvs

- your food or not... Tap water always includes rests...

- It will be positive to filter it with an Osmosis filter to reduce Ec and then we can get nice values

- adding our fertilizers... We recommend Advanced Nutrients... The less Heavy Metal rests brand... It's the most important.

- Ec and Ph are really united... Because being what they are,

- we'll adjust it better in relation to themselves. We must adjust Ph in function of the strain, for example,

- these plants absorv better a 5.8... The others maybe a 6.2... But we have to make an average so we won't get

- the best results. Optimum results must be in a mono garden taking maximum care of all parametters

- like Ph. Start measuring it to know how much must you adjust... To do it, there are callibration acids

- or alkalyne liquids wich with we'll adjust an optimum Ph to our concrete strain makin easier to absorv nutrient.

- There are a few ranges in wich those nutrients are better absorved... But out of those ranges,

- you can apreciate carences in your plant, like excessive ph's of 7/8 even being in ground,

- an auto level substract... Adjust it and, specially if you're working with coconut

- because these oscillations will be damaging for the plant. An interesting trick is to measure

- the plant's pee... Rest water after draining. We could measure our roots and ground's callibration.

- Then we can imporve absortion ranges... Specially if we observ any kind of deficience

- for example with iron... A normal plant's behaviour with fail alkalyne values irrigaitions,

- show carences like in this garden. Xmass hollidays... A substitute gardener came and didn't measure.

- We can see a few carences in those plants... Yellow leafs...

- that shows nutrients are not perfectly being absorved. It's due to when we prepare irrigations,

- we must callibrate alkalyne levels of water adjusting it until interesting levels.

- I recommend 5.8, 6.2.... It deppends on the variety and the moment of your garden. Let's take this plant as example

- in wich we'll see unadecuated color... Too clear green.. A few nutrients in the leafs... Trunk

- is also more purple... Sign of fail alkalynity... A few strains like Blueberry mark this kind of trunk

- even being perfectly healthy. Depending on the strain, it can be nice, or it could say something is failing in

- nutrient's absortion due to alkalynity of water. If we see this kind of signs,

- don't add more nutrient... Adjust Ph to keep it in a range in with nutrients are well absorved

- not saturating your plant with more fertilizer... It's over fertilized but,

- without absorving nutrients... A common problem for novices... So measure Ph and once it's like that, a roots

- wash in your shower to get clean roots. It's not the best and it will decrease results

- so be careful with this specially during bloom. Growth is important too because a bad growth determines bloom

- production... It will bloom the same way but not as it could be, so be careful during all processes.

- For example, if we arrive to low temperatures, production late will not be the same in bloom because stress during growth.

- Nutrients transport pipes will not develop as it should... Low temperatures are bad during growth.

- It will not be the optimum and all that damage will be shown in the results... If you arrive to

- under 7 degrees... The most part of strains could die or throw all cultivation away so be careful with temperature.

- Avoid overcoming 26 degrees and keeping contrast between night an day... 20 degrees in night will be nice.

- But not lower than 17 degrees... It's damaging. To obtain maximum results,

- room's ventilation will be really important. You'll need intraction and extraction... And equipments for reflector

- refrigeration like with this Indoor Matrix... To obtain a nice weight on the harvest... Lamp's manteinance is really important.

- You must to keep them always optimum. It degrades at every garden... Specially if you use the same lamp for growth.

- We always recommend different lamps for growth and bloom, but myxth are not a bad option.

- We're taling about 600w lamps that could give you an oscillable level of lumens.

- Lumen is unit to measure light... A 600w at 100% should give 90000 lumens.

- In this case we've got an Indoor Matrix by Garden High Pro, increased to Diswat reflection and isolant

- power. All these kind of details will grant us a great production... Keep the optimus weather.

Finger Drumming Tutorial: Basic technique and pad layout - Duration: 3:10.

In this video I'm going to show you the basic pad layout that I'm using for finger drumming

and show you my basic finger drumming technique.

Alright, the pad layout is the following layout...

So what you need is a pad controller and drum software. I'm assuming you already have those...

And then you set up your software so that the pads trigger the following sounds.

You can either pause this video and copy the layout or you can visit one of the links in the description below.

Ok, so you set up all the pads and then you should be able to play this beat...

Right, this is a kick, this is a high hat, this is a snare.

That's a basic drum beat right.

And once you've got that down, you can make some variations with this open hi-hat right here

so you go like...

Something like that.

And once you've got that down you can start combining the open hi-hat with one of

these pads because this is a snare as well this is a kick drum as well

so you can do stuff like...

Something like that.

And once you got that down, you can bring in your left hand and fill in the gaps between the eighth notes

so that sounds something like this...

And you don't have to fill in the gaps with a hi-hat,

you can also fill it in with an open hi-hat or a snare or a side stick for that matter like this:

Something like that.

2018 Bullet Journal Set Up! - Duration: 17:15.

Hello everyone!

I am Ashleigh, and today I'm going to be doing a draw through/flip through of my bullet journal

for 2018.

I wasn't originally going to do this video because it's going up quite late into January,

but I did a twitter poll to ask if people would still want it if it went up late, and

the majority said yes, so here we are.

I decided to get a new bullet journal for 2018 because it's just satisfying if you do

it that way.

And I went for the Leuchtturm1917, which I Googled the pronunciation for so hopefully

I'm getting that right.

This is the same as what I had last year but in a different colour, and it's the one that

most people who bullet journal go for.

It has dotted pages.

This one's a hardcover but you can get softcover ones as well.

And mine is in the colour Army Green, which I just adore so much.

This is my favourite colour, so...ugh.

But yeah, I just thought I'd quickly do an introduction to this video because it's been

awhile since I've actually talked about my bullet journal rather than just showing me

drawing in it.

If you don't know what a bullet journal is, then basically you just draw your own planner.

Which sounds like a lot of effort, and to be fair, it can be.

But it's a way for you to make your own planner, or diary, whatever you want to call it, in

a way that suits you.

So if there's certain days that you don't do a lot on, then you don't have to draw those

days in if you don't want to.

If you want a specific way to write to-do lists, or you want to track something, then

you can draw it in yourself, and...I don't know, it's just a very versatile way of having

a planner that works for you.

A lot of people - myself included - make it more of an art project, and you don't have

to do that.

Obviously you can literally just write in the days if you want to.

It can literally be whatever you want it to be.

It just starts as a blank notebook.

There was originally a bullet journal system to follow, but a lot of people have strayed

away from that now, and I never followed it in the first place.

If you don't want to watch the drawing part of this video, I'll a timestamp on the screen

now for where you can skip to just to see the flip through.

Another new thing from this year is the pens that I'm using, because I decided to try the

Pigma Micron fineliners, and these are just working perfectly for me.

I love having lots of different sizes as well because it's just so handy to have for different

uses.

But yes, now I'm going to show you my set up for 2018 and my set up for January, so

Hi, it's me, Sunny, with another look inside the Style Files.

You'll need a brush, a teasing comb, hair elastics and hair pins

to make Country Braids.

Ready for a fresh new hair-do?

Let's go!

Start by brushing your hair to make sure there are no tangles.

This style works best on damp hair.

Using the tail of a teasing comb,

part your hair down the centre from the front of your head

all the way down to the top of your neck.

Starting at the top of your head, separate your hair into three sections,

we're going to braid these together.

To braid, take the outside piece, bring it across the middle piece

and pull it through.

Then take the other outside piece, bring it across the middle piece

and pull it through.

After you've done that a few times,

add hair to the outside pieces as you braid.

Add a little hair to the outside piece, bring it across the middle piece

and pull it through.

Then add a little hair to the other outside piece.,

bring it across the middle piece and pull it through.

You got it!

Add to the outside, across and through.

Keep going until there is no more hair to braid.

Use a hair elastic to secure your braid in place.

Now do the other side!

Those braids are fabulous.

When you're done braiding, take the bottom tails of your braids

and roll them up so they sit at the base of your head.

Pin them into place!

Great work!

Is there a solution when there's no sun, but you still want to charge devices on the go?

One solution is a wind generator.

This one was made by TexEnergy and is called Infinite Air.

First, you search for a nice, windy spot...

and then you can start charging your devices.

The wind will at times lessen or change its direction...

and it will stop moving.

Using an external power bank is advisable.

This one is the optional Tex-Flex 3.

This way it doesn't matter if there is no wind for a moment and you can still charge your phone.

The power bank is water tight.

It also consists of three foldable parts that can stack.

What I really like is that you can pass part of the energy through via the usb port to charge a second device simultaneously.

The Infinite Air can take more than a few drops and you only have to look out for the power connector.

It would be great if this connector is also water tight.

I really like the small tripod that comes with the wind generator.

I especially like the adjustable ball head...

and the mechanism for unfolding and locking the legs.

The optional clamp is also very useful because it adds a lot of versatility.

The fit and finish seems to be very good, however, I received a press sample that was already used.

Normal wear is visible at the rotor blades and legs of the tripod.

I continued testing the Infinite Air for several weeks.

After collecting a lot of outdoor footage in very windy conditions, I decided to give you this conclusion in a quiet spot.

I'll add clips here and there so you don't get too bored, but unfortunately the sound for most of the footage was ruined by wind noise.

So it still might get a bit boring, but I have prepared all the pros and cons I noticed during testing.

For starters, the device, including all of the shown add-ons, all have a very small footprint.

The system is fairly lightweight, so it can be packed on a hiking trip without problems.

The supplied bag can even be worn on the belt or added to the outside of a bag with its molle system.

An output of 1.5-2 amps is adequate to charge most usb devices or power banks.

The wind generator is also relatively quiet when running.

Putting it next to your tent during the night should be no problem and you can wake up to your charged devices.

It is of course a great advantage, that different from solar chargers, the device works without the sun and also during the night.

However, dismantling the Infinite Air can be time consuming and especially the rotor blades are a bit finicky because of their tight fit.

I'd prefer a solution similar to the locking mechanism for the tripod legs where you simply unfold the legs and then turn a small disc to lock them.

This would likely make the device slightly bigger, but that seems like a good trade-off to me.

This way, setting up the device would only take seconds.

As for the tripod, I liked that standardized threads were used.

This way, I could mount the wind generator on a larger tripod that I use for filming.

Normally, the higher up, the more wind.

The optional clamp allowed me to simply mount the device to a sign post to gain some height.

The optional power bank also makes a good impression, however I find it way too expensive for its capacty (60€ for 3000mAh).

The clamp is also fairly expensive at 40€.

A big plus is also that the device is very weather resistant. I only had to be careful about the power connector, however, they have fixed the issue in the retail version.

Apart from the relatively price of 120€, the only real problem I see is the required wind speed.

It requires at least 25 km/h wind speed to start charging, which means quite a lot of wind is needed.

Here are some points that could be changed and my conclusion:

It would be nice if the ball head could be locked vertically, but stay flexible horizontally so that the device could turn with the wind.

I also think that it might be possible to add a small internal battery in the tripod. That way you are never without power.

Adding rotor blades that require less wind would be a perfect finishing touch, because most power banks do not require a lot of energy to charge.

Testing the Infinite Air has shown me that you can't have it all:

You either have a stable, but also large and heavy tripod...

or a compact compromise.

Either the wind generator starts producing electricity at low wind speeds,

or it will have a higher maximum output but require more wind to start.

And you can either buy a relatively cheap solar charger and accept that you have no energy without the sun...

or you can buy a relatively expensive wind generator and be without energy if there is not enough wind.

I think the Infinite Air provides a very interesting solution to our energy problems and I look forward to the future.

Today we're gonna talk about how to improve English listening proficiency.

Listening might be the most difficult skill to learn out of the four language skills.

And teachers don't really "teach" how to listen because listening is considered like a passive

skill

Good language learners are the ones who are better at using their metacognitive skills

So what are the metacognitive skills......

So what are the metacognitive skills?

It includes planning, monitoring and evaluating, so on and so forth

In other words, metacognitive skills is the ability to use the things that you already

know to learn something that you don't know

So today I'm going to share some really practical and useful metacognitive skills that you can

apply when you are doing your listening comprehension test or when you are talking to other people

Basically improving your listening ability through some strategies

So without further ado, let's get into the video

So the first strategy is to guess

When you're listening to a speech or conversation, there are many reasons why you can't understand

maybe it's because of a local accent or maybe an unknown vocabulary or just the noisy background

When this happens, you should use the information that you already know and make a guess quickly

So how can you make a guess

First, you can guess the speech of the word

Is it a noun or is it a verb

If it is a noun, it is likely to be a person, place or object

Second, you can guess according to the context

Where does the conversation or speech take place?

So these are all the clues that you can use to make a rapid guess

Strategy number 2, to anticipate when you're talking to someone or when you're

listening to a speech, you might anticipate what is going to come up

For example, I live in Montreal right now and people talk about the weather constantly

so when I meet someone, I am somehow prepared to talk about the snow or how it ruined my

nice boots and at the same time, I would also expect

that the other person would talk about the fact that it is -15 degrees outside right

now Is it?

Let me see.

It is -15 degrees outside.

Right now, huh, when I am filming.

Anticipating can help the listener to be prepared and also have more time to organize

Three, to keep to the point.

In fact, it is impossible for the listener to hear every single word in the sentence

So it is more important to know what is important and more relevant

So how can you do that?

First, listen with a purpose.

So you should think yo yourself: what is the conversation or speech mainly about.

For example, when you're listening to the new, try to understand where the incident

happened, when did it happen and how did it happen.

So when you are focusing on these questions, you are more likely to capture the important

parts of the speech.

Second, listen to the first sentence and transitional words in the speech

We all know that the first sentence of the paragraph is the topic sentence.

And the topic sentence shows the central idea of the whole paragraph.

Also, the transitional words show the thinking of the speaker.

Following these targets can help the students focus on the main point of the talk instead

of peripheral details that are distracting.

In the end, I just wanna say that listening training is not about understanding every

single word in the sentence.

Listening is not that passive as you think.

According to research, if the learners' metacognitive awareness increases, not just listening comprehension,

overall language proficiency increases.

So metacognitive awareness or strategies are all really important and should be emphasized

in classrooms.

Besides developing your language, the learner should also learn to guess, to anticipate

and to keep it to the point.

You should come and say bye.

SAILING TRIP EP#3 (TRANSATLANTIC) - TENERIFE & LA PALMA - Duration: 6:46.

Hello everyone, welcome to this third episode of our travel diaries on the Atlantic.

Here we are in Tenerife, the fourth island of our transatlantic trip to Brazil.

We take advantage of the first days to explore Santa Cruz.

At the bend of a walk we come across a very strange building: The auditorium of Tenerife.

This construction is located at the seaside and its impressive wave silhouette

stands at more than 50 meters above the ground.

The next day we go to visit the north of the island

First stop we stop at Icod de los Vinos

The attraction of the village focuses on a single spot: A tree!

We also discover a unique icod tradition

To celebrate the opening of the first bottle of wine of the year,

the inhabitants go down the streets of the city on tables without feet.

For our part we will have the soft version

seeing the children train to go down a small street in front of the amused look of their families.

We continue the exploration of the island by moving to La Orotava.

at the end of the afternoon there are natural pools "created by the artist César Manrique.

The next day Natha chooses to rest on the boat while I go solo to explore the Teide National Park.

I hitchhike and once arrived, I learn that half of the park

is closed exceptionally because of HUNTING MOUFLONS!

I still find super beautiful hikes and walk from morning to evening alone in these beautiful landscapes.

A few days later we embarked for the longest sailing we have accomplished so far sailing

to the island of La Palma.

A total of 126 nautical miles of quiet navigation is just over 233 kilometers.

26 hours later we arrive at Tazacorte, the port of La Palma and are welcomed by

Nobody!

Yeah it's Sunday and nobody works here ...

After several maneuvers breaks in the marina

we dock at a pontoon

and as usual, we go to discover this new island.

Verdict

We fall in love instantly.

We take advantage of the long black sand beach to play in the waves, read and have fun.

One day, we go with Michèle for a small hike in the south of the island.

After a rainy start

and a break in a giant seagull simulator

we join the GR131

We cross landscapes straight out of apocalyptic film.

Finally we arrive at El Faro located at the southern end of the island

and discover the saltworks.

The pink color of some pool contrasts to death with the landscapes of desolation around us!

The next day we take the opportunity to climb the highest peak of the island,

Named "el roque de los muchachos"

We pick some almonds on the edge of the road and continue alone through a beautiful forest.

Culminating at 2426 meters above sea level, we need about 5 hours of walking to reach the summit

and discover the superb view of the caldera.

This step on La Palma was above all a milestone for the future of our transatlantic trip.

Indeed, it is here, at the port of Tazacorte that we took the boat out of the water

to do the necessary work for the long voyages that await us to Brazil.

The maneuver must be done very precisely to avoid breakage. First

we go back into an airlock.

Long strap goes under the boat

The travel lift then raises the boat and rolls to its place.

The sailboat is then placed on 4 small wooden boards

and supported by two bers in the front and the back.

We are now at 4m from the ground,

the use of water and toilets is forbidden and we use a ladder to enter and leave the boat.

We spend 6 days doing a lot of work.

We install 2 new probes which will indicate on our navigation instruments the speed of the boat and the depth under water

But above all, we prepare the boat for anti-fouling by cleaning and sanding it back and forth.

The anti-fooling is a kind of paint that prevents marine microorganisms to land on the hull

to protect it and allow it to slide more easily on the water.

After these many works,

the boat is back in the water and we can then sail to our final stopover of the Canary Islands

The sea is calm, we sail for a dozen hours to reach the island of El Hierro ...

Trump-hating Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) recently tried to jump on the "shithole"

dogpile with a snarky comment aimed at Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

Now, his fellow liberals are cringing after one word he said made it obvious that he needs

to retire.

foot in their own mouth or, in Leahy's case, both feet.

Maybe the public would be a little more forgiving if the political elite weren't such hypocrites,

but when a guy like Leahy forgets basic geography in front of our nation's leaders, it's

just downright embarrassing.

According to Daily Caller, Leahy's attempt to back his buddy lying "Dicky Durbin"

(D-IL) ended in cringe-worthy embarrassment after the Senator from Illinois chided DHS

Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen for President Donald Trump's alleged comment that Haiti, El Salvador,

and some African countries are "shitholes."

Leahy apparently let his excitement over the opportunity to be a jerk get the best of him.

During his egotistical criticism of Trump, he forgot that Africa is a continent and not

a country.

"You imply the president was articulating support for merit-based immigration systems

like those in Australia or Canada," Leahy said.

"But when he denigrated Haiti and El Salvador, and Africa – a country where we are trying

to have some ability to match China and others in influence … he said he wanted more people

from Norway."

After screwing up his big chance to look brilliant in front of the committee, Leahy made another

attempt to say something profound.

"Being from Norway is not a skill," Leahy said.

It's true, Norwegians don't possess some magical skill just because of their place

of birth.

I wonder how long Leahy contemplated that deep truth before sharing it with his colleagues.

Since the "shithole" lie was started by Senator Dick Durbin, multiple politicians

have come out in support of President Trump saying that the accusation isn't true.

According to Breitbart, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) appeared on CBS's "Face The Nation"

recently to dispell Durbin's claim about Trump's comments about Haiti, El Salvador,

and African nations.

Cotton said, "I didn't hear that word either.

I certainly didn't hear what Sen. Durbin has said repeatedly.

Sen. Durbin has a history of misrepresenting what happens in White House meetings, though,

so perhaps we shouldn't be surprised by that."

Cotton really put the nail in the coffin for Durbin after being pressed further on the

show when he said, "I didn't hear it.

And I was sitting no farther away from Donald Trump than Dick Durbin was, and I know what

Dick Durbin has said about the president's repeated statements is incorrect."

The fact of the matter is that Democrats see Trump keeping his promises to his voting base

and will stop at nothing to make him look like a racist and a failure.

Durbin and Leahy should be ashamed of themselves for lying to the American people for a political

agenda.

I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology from either of the Democrat senators.

I think their behavior is a direct result of their desperation.

Liberals couldn't beat Donald Trump in the presidential election even with the help of

several government agencies and Barack Obama.

So many details regarding corruption on the part of former FBI Director James Comey and

his Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe have come to light that there can't be any question

about their attempts to help liberals undermine Trump.

However, they still haven't been able to bring him down with the Russia collusion probe

being headed up by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Yet, they won't keep trying, even if they have to use falsehoods and exaggerations to

feign outrage.

It's only a matter of time until their lies backfire on them and people start going to

jail for their illegal behavior.

Until then, guys like Leahy and Durbin will continue to spew garbage.

The pair dated when Vicky was 20 but split up, however rekindled things years later.

Vicky was previously engaged to her co-star Ricci Guarnacci, but they later called it off.

It seems like all the Geordie Shore stars are growing up these days.

Vickys wedding plans come as her former castmate Gaz Beadles baby was born this week.

Gaz, 29, announced the news of himself and girlfriend Emma McVeys arrival with an Instagram post.

It read: WOW, what a feeling no words can describe it meet our son.

He is perfect in every way and healthy weighing 6lbs 2, Emma is fine and did amazing.

I am a dad can't believe it.
