Being such a huge fan of the original GameBoy games it felt only right to include some reference to them.

And the transition from old to new works pretty well here. Didn't *pop* as much as I'd like though...

There's loads of minifigure customisation options in LEGO Worlds but creating a convicing Pokémon trainer took me quite a while.

The buildings were much easier. I actually used an old sprite sheet to get the models as close to scale as possible.

If you look in the background you'll spot the trees.

Each one consists of around 50 individual bricks and there's at least...

... 300 in the level altogether. That's 15,000 bricks before counting the ground or buildings!

Fun fact: You can't run through these bushes. I didn't make the gap between them wide enough... ¬_¬

This was the first character sprite I made. Took around an hour and consists of around 300 LEGO 1x1 slates.

Charmander and Squirtle both took around an hour and consist of approximately 360 and 380 1x1 LEGO slates respectively.

Bulbasaur took 2 hours. Trying to get the right shades of green was surprisingly tricky...

Not much to show in Route 1 despite it taking ages. Adding the little elevations of dirt really added to the overall build time.

Here you can see the Pokémon Shop, Pokémon Centre, a few houses and a Pokémon Gym!

In total I'd say the entire level/build consists of around 150,000 LEGO bricks, slates and objects.

It took around 20 hours to complete.

In a recent interview, talked about f(x)s prolonged hiatus and why the group hasnt made a comeback in over two years.

f(x) has not released an album since 2015, when the group made its first—and so far, only—comeback as with .

Although the members have pursued various solo activities in the time since, many fans have been anxious to see them promote together as a group again.

Krystal, who is currently starring in the tvN drama Prison Playbook, expressed that she also wishes to see f(x) return to the stage.

She revealed that although the members frequently discussed making a comeback, even going so far as to schedule a date for a release in the past, their plans had always fallen through.

The timing never worked out, she explained.

Either the timing wasnt right or the circumstances werent right.

We made a lot of effort.

We even had a plan to make a comeback during a certain month, but it fell through.

It didnt work out the way we wanted..

She added, The members always talk about group activities.

We tried many times, but whenever we set a date in an attempt to prepare an album, something always came up..

Krystal went on to clarify, Its not that our company isnt letting us release an album.

Everything is all about timing, but until now, that timing hasnt worked out.

When the timing is right and theres a good song available, were always ready to release an album..

The idol-turned-actress said that she felt apologetic to her fans, who frequently ask her when they can expect to see a new f(x) album.

Im really, truly sorry to our fans, she remarked.

I feel sorry because I can see how hard it is for them, and because Im so sorry, I feel like theres nothing I can say.

I feel frustrated by the fact that I have nothing to tell them..

However, she reassured her fans that she had no intention of giving up on her singing career.

Because I love music, its something that I never want to let go of, she said.

I miss dancing.

Good morning!

Slept a night in the wilderness again

It wasn't the best sleep

It wasn't because of the place, but I left sound on my phone

And I got a couple of calls during the night

Of course, it was daytime in Finland

We were sleeping and coughing as well

It's time to head towards Grand Canyon now

We've been there before but we'll do more hiking around there this time

We're at the entrance to Grand Canyon

We're queueing for the tickets

We have the season pass though

It allows entry to all national parks in the U.S.

It's a bit on side of the road

But there aren't many parking spots and we won't bother to go further away

There's a nice nipping wind here

It's not too hot at least

Last time we had a heatwave here

Matti Nykänen had a helicopter ride somewhere down there once

- Yeah there were some others

Which show was it again?

- Some stars.. - Superstars?

Whatever

The canyon is mind-bogglingly big

It's about 5000 feet deep

That's about 1500-2000 meters

- Found anything interesting?

- It's pretty interesting as a whole

You can enjoy the sights without the heat outside

Let's keep going

I'm spilling everything

- There's rocks down there

- Starting to get hungry

We did eat some beef jerky

And some dried fruits

They don't keep the hunger pangs away though

There's a route down there

It continues all the way there

It's starting to be really warm

A little gust of wind

Feels good

We've walked a few kilometers now

Decide to take a bus back though

There wasn't anything really impressive on the way anyway

The bus is every half an hour

We're in a bus now. Didn't have to wait at all.

Decide not to go to the café

The sandwiches were really expensive

7 or 8 dollars each

We'll eat in the car

There's some beef jerky here

Loads of protein

We have some müesli bars too

And some dried fruits

The Canyon is right next to us

You can see it every now and then from the trees

The whole road follows the canyon

Taking a small break

Enjoying some views

It's really nice

Stopped here to view some sights, there's meant to be some kind of tower

I think there's something worthwhile because of size of the parking lot

That's the tower

I don't think it's the main attraction here

Now we've seen that as well

Then we continue our journey

We won't be having any longer stops in between

We'll only stop for some petrol and coffee

Time to fill up the tank again

The wind is really warm

Should You Buy a CVT Transmission Car (How It Works) - with Scotty Kilmer - Duration: 4:44.

rev up your engines, believe it or not, it's snowing in Houston,

since I can't work outside now, I'm just going to talk about CVT transmissions,

now many modern cars come with CVT transmissions, it stands for, continuously variable transmissions,

they don't have gears like a normal transmission, they don't shift from first gear, second gear,

third gear, now to understand CVT transmissions,

here's a little history on transmissions in general,

now the first widely accepted transmissions in vehicles were standard transmissions,

with a standard shifter, and a clutch that you push down with your foot,

they were extremely reliable, you shifted it when you need to with your hand,

but they have one drawback, they are a pain to drive in traffic,

and then came automatic transmissions that were still geared transmissions,

but they shifted themselves automatically, which of course people in the city love,

because then they don't have to think about shifting,

they just step on the gas or the brake, it makes driving a lot easier,

now for a long time, the standard transmissions had more power, and got better gas mileage

than the automatics, but as time went on, the automatic transmissions

got more sophisticated and more complex, and more computer controlled, so that they would

get just about the same gas mileage as a standard transmission,

but that wasn't enough, with pressure from the EPA to get better and better gas mileage

from manufacturers, especially in the United States, they started making these CVT transmissions,

because they get about 6 percent or so better gas mileage than the normal automatic geared

transmissions, as you can see in this diagram, there's a

gear shift that allows you to manually change it from first, to second, to third, to fourth

gear, and there's actual gears that you shift into

by yourself, while in this diagram of an automatic transmission,

although it's a very basic one, the transmission automatically shifts itself using various

types of devices to send power to the wheels, while in this CVT diagram, you can see that

there are no real gears, it uses metal belts and various shaped drums,

in order to make the car run most efficiently, they have a lot less moving parts than any

modern automatic transmission and they get the best gas mileage for whatever speed your

going that you can possibly get, and decades and decades ago,

my grandfather who was also a mechanic, worked on CVT transmissions, but they didn't work

all that well back then, the garage was down at the bottom of a big

hill, and when he worked on these CVT transmissions,

a lot of times they just would not go up the hill,

they would slip so badly that they had to go around to flatter ground to get up, they

wouldn't make it up the hill, now metallurgy has gone a long way since then,

so the modern CVT transmissions, they'll go up the hills and stuff, but a lot of them

have a lot of lag, which many people refer to as a rubber band

effect, you step on the gas and it's like winding

up a rubber band, it doesn't go, it doesn't go, and then it

starts going, but your going to find with many modern cars

like this Nissan, they come only with CVT transmissions,

so what is there for you to do? because the CVT transmissions are cheaper

to manufacture, and get better gas mileage, your going to be seeing more and more of them

as time goes on, so if your going to get a CVT transmission,

listen to this warning, do some serious research on the models your

thinking about buying, for example, I have never yet seen a Toyota Corolla CVT

transmission go bad, not a single one yet, but I personally have seen dozens of Nissan

CVT transmissions go bad, especially in the Altimas, and when the Altimas went bad, it

was either spend $3,500 to $4,500 having them rebuild,

or buying a factory re-manufactured unit and spending $5,000 to $6,000 to have it replaced,

so in this case, if you don't mind the way the CVT's drive,

you would definitely get a Toyota Corolla and you would pass on a Nissan Altima, now

since CVT transmissions are being mass produced now, more than they ever have been,

I'm assuming in the future they will probably perfect all the problems like they did with

automatic transmissions, but me, I'm going to stick with my four speed

automatic transmission that's in this Toyota, it's got 240,000 miles on it, and it's never

been touched and it still shifts like a dream, more quick fixes on the Scotty Kilmer Channel,

Krystal Opens Up About Reasons For f(x)'s Prolonged Hiatus

In a recent interview, talked about f(x)s prolonged hiatus and why the group hasnt made a comeback in over two years.

f(x) has not released an album since 2015, when the group made its first—and so far, only—comeback as with .

Although the members have pursued various solo activities in the time since, many fans have been anxious to see them promote together as a group again.

Krystal, who is currently starring in the tvN drama Prison Playbook, expressed that she also wishes to see f(x) return to the stage.

She revealed that although the members frequently discussed making a comeback, even going so far as to schedule a date for a release in the past, their plans had always fallen through.

The timing never worked out, she explained.

Either the timing wasnt right or the circumstances werent right.

We made a lot of effort.

We even had a plan to make a comeback during a certain month, but it fell through.

It didnt work out the way we wanted..

She added, The members always talk about group activities.

We tried many times, but whenever we set a date in an attempt to prepare an album, something always came up..

Krystal went on to clarify, Its not that our company isnt letting us release an album.

Everything is all about timing, but until now, that timing hasnt worked out.

When the timing is right and theres a good song available, were always ready to release an album..

The idol-turned-actress said that she felt apologetic to her fans, who frequently ask her when they can expect to see a new f(x) album.

Im really, truly sorry to our fans, she remarked.

I feel sorry because I can see how hard it is for them, and because Im so sorry, I feel like theres nothing I can say.

I feel frustrated by the fact that I have nothing to tell them..

However, she reassured her fans that she had no intention of giving up on her singing career.

Because I love music, its something that I never want to let go of, she said.

I miss dancing.

In an RV in the USA 2017 // Episode 10. - Grand Canyon - Duration: 9:09.

Good morning!

Slept a night in the wilderness again

It wasn't the best sleep

It wasn't because of the place, but I left sound on my phone

And I got a couple of calls during the night

Of course, it was daytime in Finland

We were sleeping and coughing as well

It's time to head towards Grand Canyon now

We've been there before but we'll do more hiking around there this time

We're at the entrance to Grand Canyon

We're queueing for the tickets

We have the season pass though

It allows entry to all national parks in the U.S.

It's a bit on side of the road

But there aren't many parking spots and we won't bother to go further away

There's a nice nipping wind here

It's not too hot at least

Last time we had a heatwave here

Matti Nykänen had a helicopter ride somewhere down there once

- Yeah there were some others

Which show was it again?

- Some stars.. - Superstars?

Whatever

The canyon is mind-bogglingly big

It's about 5000 feet deep

That's about 1500-2000 meters

- Found anything interesting?

- It's pretty interesting as a whole

You can enjoy the sights without the heat outside

Let's keep going

- Water bottle refill station

I'm spilling everything

- There's rocks down there

- Starting to get hungry

We did eat some beef jerky

And some dried fruits

They don't keep the hunger pangs away though

There's a route down there

It continues all the way there

It's starting to be really warm

A little gust of wind

Feels good

We've walked a few kilometers now

Decide to take a bus back though

There wasn't anything really impressive on the way anyway

The bus is every half an hour

We're in a bus now. Didn't have to wait at all.

Decide not to go to the café

The sandwiches were really expensive

7 or 8 dollars each

We'll eat in the car

There's some beef jerky here

Loads of protein

We have some müesli bars too

And some dried fruits

The Canyon is right next to us

You can see it every now and then from the trees

The whole road follows the canyon

Taking a small break

Enjoying some views

It's really nice

Stopped here to view some sights, there's meant to be some kind of tower

I think there's something worthwhile because of size of the parking lot

That's the tower

I don't think it's the main attraction here

Now we've seen that as well

Then we continue our journey

Then we head towards Page

We won't be having any longer stops in between

We'll only stop for some petrol and coffee

Time to fill up the tank again

The wind is really warm

Our new First Lady Melania Trump released her first White House Christmas video this

past Monday.

It shows all the decorations which illustrate a stark difference between the Trump's and

the Obama's Christmas at the White House celebration.

The most obvious difference between the two decorating styles is the ambiance.

Melania Trump decorated the White House to look like a peaceful and magical place, very

elegant and the definition of what Christmas is supposed to be.

She shared the video of the display on her Instagram page.

The Christmas decorations and some scenes looked just like a true come to life winter

fairytale land, something out of a book.

But what is most important about this video is the nativity scene, which had been absent

from the White House since Barack Hussein Obama took office in 2009.

The fact that the White House once again has a nativity scene proves beyond any shadow

of a doubt that President Trump did, in fact, keep his promise to bring "Christmas back"

and end the so-called "Happy Holiday" movement.

What a difference one year can make.

The Obama's final Christmas in the White House had no mention of Jesus whatsoever.

The decorations included a vast display of Lego gingerbread houses.

Michelle actually hired a team of Lego builders to build a total of 56 gingerbread houses

which required a total of over 200,000 Lego pieces.

Because we all know nothing says "Christmas" and "Jesus" like Legos.

In fact, the Obama era decorations had nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus at all.

Please America, please don't make the same mistake again.

There is no way a person who has a Muslim name and upbringing should ever be President

of the United States of America again.

We all know the majority of Americans suffered from white guilt in 2008 and 2012, but now

we are over it.

And America can once again be America again!

Christmas Traditions at the White House

Nineteenth-century White House Christmas celebrations were not grand state affairs but usually simple

family events.

The first family decorated the house with greens and there were celebrations on the

holiday.

The first White House Christmas party was held in December 1800.

President and Mrs. Adams gave it for their four-year-old granddaughter Suzannah, who

was living with them.

The Adams invited the children of "official" Washington to the party.

One of the most elaborate children's Christmas parties was President Andrew Jackson's "frolic"

for the children of his household in 1834.

This party included games, dancing, a grand dinner, and ended with an indoor "snowball

fight" with specially made cotton balls.

The first Christmas tree in the White House was placed in the second floor Yellow Oval

Room (then used as a family parlor and library) in 1889 (Benjamin Harrison administration).

It was decorated with candles, toys, etc. for the Harrison grandchildren.

The Cleveland Family tree decorated with red, white and blue electric light bulbs, delighted

the president's young daughters.

It was placed in the second floor Oval Room of the White House in 1894.

President and Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt hosted a "carnival" during the 1903 Christmas

season for 500 children including dinner, dancing, musical entertainment, souvenirs,

and a special treat in the form of ice cream formed in the shape of Santa and other Christmas

novelties.

President Roosevelt, an avowed conservationist, did not approve of cutting trees for Christmas

decorations.

However, his son Archie defied the ban and smuggled in a small tree that was decorated

and hidden in a closet in the upstairs sewing room.

The Taft children placed the first tree on the State floor in the Blue Room in 1909.

The Wilsons continued to have a tree in the Blue Room.

President Calvin Coolidge was the first chief executive to preside over the National Christmas

tree lighting ceremony on the Ellipse in 1923.

Today, the Christmas Pageant of Peace, a major event held annually on the Ellipse since 1954,

includes the lighting of the National Christmas Tree.

This celebration respects the holiday worship of all faiths and features the appearance

of the first family to light the tree and host live musical and dance performances.

First Lady Lou Henry Hoover established the custom of decorating an official tree in the

White House in 1929.

Since that time, the honor of trimming the Christmas tree on the state floor has belonged

to our first ladies.

The tree stands in the oval Blue Room, an elegant space honored as the center of holiday

In 1961, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy began the tradition of selecting a theme for the

official White House Christmas tree.

modeled after Petr Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" ballet.

Over her eight White House holiday seasons, First Lady Hillary Clinton showcased the talents

of America's artistic communities.

First Lady Laura Bush varied the decorations, including the themes of "All Creatures Grand

and Small in 2002" highlighting her love of animals and the importance of pets to White

House history and a patriotic "A Red, White and Blue Christmas" in 2008.

The theme had been inspired by letters from Americans that began arriving after September

11th suggesting the White House have a red, white and blue Christmas.

First Lady Michelle Obama announced the 2010 White House Christmas theme of "Simple Gifts"

and she explained, "The greatest blessings of all are the ones that don't cost a thing:

the time that we spend with our loved ones, the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and the

joy we feel from reaching out to those in need."
