From a young age, Becky G knew that music was going to be a necessity in her life.

She puts a lot of herself into her songs, and yet, there are still so many things that

her fans don't know about her.

From her family life to her professional career, here is the untold truth of Becky G.

An early crisis

During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Becky G elaborated on her family life, saying

that due to financial struggles and a bad economy, they lost their house when she was

younger.

At just 9 years old, Becky G, her parents, her two brothers and younger sister all had

to move into her grandparents' converted garage.

She recalled feeling helpless, saying,

"That was literally my mid-life crisis when I was nine years old.

That's when I felt like, 'Okay, I gotta get my life together.

What am I gonna do?'"

Having three siblings and many cousins gave her the motivation to do whatever it took

to stand out.

She joked with Rolling Stone,

"You gotta do something to get people's attention when there's new babies every three weeks….

My way was just being extra loud."

Ten minutes

As a young artist, Becky G began posting YouTube videos, and it was her viral cover of Kanye

West's song "Otis" that changed her life.

It caught the attention of producer Dr. Luke, whose specialty, according to ABC News, is

"turning obscure teens into budding pop stars."

"And I was like,'hold up, rewind!'

Dr. Luke, the man known for number one hits, wanted to meet me.

What?

...I was like, 'Here, these are some of the songs that I've recorded and written.'

In ten minutes, he just like, offered me my deal."

Becky G explained that she feels like she has a "second family" with her record label

and Dr. Luke.

Tooth gap

Becky G revealed that some fans — as well as haters — have assumed she would want

to make her pearly whites even more perfect, but she has no plans of conforming for anyone.

She claims her trademark tooth gap is here to stay.

"Why should I change myself to be what everybody else wants me to be?"

No rush to drive

Becky G admits that she's never had a desire to get her driver's license.

The singer told ABC News,

"I may be the one with the talent, but I don't have my license.

You know, I need my mom to drive me around and I need dad to still be breadwinner of

the house."

Becky went on to explain that she enjoyed taking naps in the car and never wanted to

be alone, since she grew up around so many people.

However, she did buy herself a car before even getting her license.

Ultimately, what motivated her to finally take the test was the fact that she was going

to be filming a movie that required her to drive.

Payday presents

During Becky G's March 2017 interview with Wendy Williams, Wendy brought up the fact

that the budding star had recently come into a good amount of money, and asked if she did

anything special with it.

"I think when I was finally in a place where I knew I could make a big step as an adult,

I got my family a new home."

She added that her parents wanted to give her the master bedroom, but it felt wrong.

However, she does use half of their closet because, well, she has a lot of stuff.

Power Ranger

In the 2017 Power Rangers movie, Becky G played the yellow Ranger, a character who turns out

to be gay.

"I think it's something really beautiful.

I think it's, to me, it makes me sad that it's such a big deal because I feel like it

could have been done such a long time ago, and it makes me really proud."

The actress opened up about landing the role, saying,

"Originally I had no idea I was even auditioning for the Power Rangers…

I was just sent some lines and my agent said, 'do a self-tape.'"

However, she almost didn't do the self-tape because she was on tour at the time, and she

felt like she didn't have the time or space to do it.

But her agent begged her to do it, so she gave in.

After she finished her tour, she met with Lionsgate — and the rest is history.

Anxiety

The day after her 2017 Thanksgiving celebration, Becky G spoke on Instagram about how she is

thankful for the occasional bad things that happen to her because they make her stronger.

She shared,

"I recently opened up about my battle with severe anxiety.

When I was 15, during what we call "family meetings", I had my first attack.

I stopped breathing."

Becky G credits her family for just about everything, saying they are there for her

whether it's through FaceTime or right next to her.

She concluded by saying,

"They're everything to me.

I love them with all my heart."

And we do grow some perennials, but we mostly stick with annuals, because their strategy

in life is to grow up as fast as possible so that they can make the seeds of the next

generation – or, in the case of wheat, corn, rice, and a few of other crops, the seeds

that make up the majority of the human diet.

Perennials, on the other hand, take the time they need to grow up strong and build big

root systems that help them survive longer-term, which means they aren't really in a rush

to reproduce.

So any animal waiting around for a perennial to pump out some seeds to snack on might end

up waiting a long time.

In the wild, the perennial's strategy usually wins out, because once perennial plants lock

down some real estate, they can keep it locked down, which leaves little space for shorter-lived

plants to sprout.

So in general, it takes an event like fire to clear the field for annuals and allow them

to take over.

But because we humans have grown such an appetite for annuals' abundant seeds, we're willing

to step in and do a lot of that field-clearing, helping these short-lived plants crop up in

places they never would have on their own, all across our planet.

Teletubbies star dead: Tinky Winky actor Simon Shelton Barnes dies aged 52

The actor played the purple Teletubby in the iconic childrens TV show.

The 52-year-old father-of-three, who lived in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, was the uncle of Inbetweeners star Emily Atack and the brother-in-law of Poldark actor Robert Daws.

Tributes have poured in for trained ballet dancer and choreographer Simon, with 28-year-old Emily sharing a headshot of the actor on Instagram.

She captioned the post: My wonderful uncle Simon Barnes has been taken from us all so suddenly.

The kindest and most talented man you could ever wish to meet.

Loved by all who knew him, and will be forever.

Son Henry wrote on Facebook: I lost my lovely dad.

He was the kindest and most gentle man I knew and I love him more than anything! I always used to be embarrassed as a child that he was a dancer and an actor but now I couldnt be more proud! He is in a better place now and I know he wouldnt want me to be sad, so Im going to live my life the way he would want me to. Simon took over the role of the handbag-carrying character from comedian Dave Thompson.

Thompson, who played Tinky Winky when the show first launched on BBC Two back in 1997, was allegedly sacked by production company Ragdoll for implying the character was gay, with the BBC thought to have told the actor that his interpretation of the role was not acceptable.

Tinky Winkys sexuality was a hot topic when the show first aired, with American televangelist Jerry Falwell alleging the character was a homosexual role model in 1999.

Over speculation over whether the character was gay, Simon responded: The character is supposed to be a three-year-old so the question is really quite silly..

Simon was said to initially be reluctant to take over as the Teletubby, having once said: I started my career as a ballet dancer and had just started working as a choreographer.

I thought it was a bit of a risky move but it certainly paid off. He then compared starring in the kids programme to being a rockstar: We used to receive a lot of fan mail from kids and parents.

I suppose we were a bit like the Beatles or the Take That of childrens television. The funeral will take place on the 7 February at the Bedford Crematorium.

Family members have asked those attending to wear bright colours to remember Simon.

Cult show Teletubbies was brought back for a new CBeebies series in 2014 after its inital four-year run saw international success.

Maddy Darrall, the executive producer, said being asked to re-make the show was "like being handed the television crown jewels".

He got her in person, and when she finally got there. She unleashed on him and

I didn't want in her fears. I left it alone and then I watched three days later a very similar act again

And I put my daughter side and I said

She said what I said he did what you wanted and when he did what you wanted you punished him

He came to be with you

But fact he didn't know at the time you wanted and because you felt fearful

Instead of when he coming saying oh my gosh I missed you and assuming what he did was really

Important you seem to assume that he didn't give a shit about you. You've done it now twice in three days

And to head for Muhikko reservable hut and sauna for the night.

A kind of motivator for cycling thru the Salpa trail and the whole bikepacking trip

utilizing Salpa trail as it begins in somewhat halfway of the whole trip

Phew, it seems that we're in Hostikka!

A lunch break in Hostikka

Or actually in this point it's just a dessert that's left anymore

The transportation phase from Lappeenranta to the north end of Salpa trail was purely based on

quessing with topographical maps for best MTB route and still ended up being mostly of gravel road

There were exceptions like few short forest trails and that part where we had to go around this one house yard

thru nearly impermeable spruce forest and over a deep ditch

And all this cos we wanted to act like gentlemen by not crossing the yard

Isn't it surprising that there isn't much video captured of that sweaty cursing and grunting

Though nowadays the Salpa trail is marked all the way to the village of Kirppu, the Hostikka fortification centre is in many ways a better terminus for Salpa trail

but Hostikka is an epic location with many interesting Continuation war era structures (that never had to be used)

like unfinished excavated caves, trenches and machine gun nests

These and many other infrastructure made for hikers and trekkers makes Hostikka worth even a dedicated day trip

After Hostikka we only had something like 12 km left - the so called "last waltz of the night"

The focus was on the Muhikko wilderness hut and it's sauna

and during the break we conveniently recieved a SMS including the combination for the Hut's lock

Though sauna and other luxuries like fixed roof and walls for the night aren't necessary in any way to keep our adventures going

but once a while some relaxing during a trip is more than welcome

12 km and we're ready to light up the sauna stove!

Well we're able to ride for like two meters here

The day's mission was successfully accomplished as we arrived in Muhikko in 8.00 P.M.

The route from Hostikka to Muhikko was mostly gravel road but there seemed to be more of

that good ol' forest trail now that we'd reached the actual Salpa trail

There were some unwanted logging sites

and the hill between the old quarry and Muhikko required some serious cranking

Although we could pedal some parts of the said hill it was a real mess. Sauna is going to do miracles after this!

It's Muhikko indeed.

We gathered some GPS data but we run out of luck

and Sports Tracker tracked the shit out of itself resulting in a lost excercise data

I think that "Sports Cracker" has been made mostly with shorter excercises of busy city people in mind

as the application crashes during longer runs or when it loses it's GPS signal

but fortunately we did manage to peek the data before it was gone showing that Saturday was something like 40 km

And just like Anssi said it…

There's nothing achieved if there's nothing to prove it

We're going to have some evening snack and preparing for the sauna
