Is Creatine Worth It? [Hint: It is, and It Isn't!] - Duration: 3:07.

Hey there, Paul from Ultimate Fat Burner.com here and today I'm asking the question "is

creatine worth it?"

Funny enough, it may be, or may not be, depending on a number of factors.

Wondering what the heck I'm talking about?

Well then you need to stick around, because I'll be right back with the details in just

few seconds.

Please... don't go anywhere.

Hey there!

Welcome back.

Thanks for sticking around!

Ok, let's get right to the question... is creatine worth it?

Well, in some cases it is, and some cases it isn't.

Let me explain...

Creatine is worth it if you're using it for anaerobic activities such as strength training,

power lifting, bodybuilding etc.

Creatine is not worth it if you're taking it to improve the performance of mainly aerobic

activities like jogging, running, boxing, basketball, hockey, etc.

Creatine supplementation impacts anaerbic energy creation only, so

taking it for the purposes I just mentioned is a waste of money.

Creatine is worth it if you use creatine monohydrate, which is the version of creatine found safe

and effective in the vast amount of clinical studies.

It's not worth it if you experiment with versions of creatine that

either have not been proven effective, or, like buffered creatine for example, have been

proven to be less effective than creatine monohydrate.

Creatine is worth it if your workouts are intense and you push to the very last rep.

It is not worth it if you spend most of your

workouts goofing off.

Creatine works by providing raw material for the

anaerobc energy creation process, allowing you to do more work.

Your gains on creatine come from the greater adaptive reponse you get by performing this

additional work.

If you don't perform this additional work, supplementing with creatine won't do anything

for you.

Creatine is worth it if you have a good diet in place.

If your diet sucks, it makes more sense to get it under

control before you waste any money on creatine, or any other supplements for that matter.

So what's the bottom line?

Is creatine worth iut?

If you're using creatine monohydrate - not one of the other versions available on the

market - for its intended purpose - so anaerobic activities like strength

training, powerlifting and bodybuilding, and your diet is in

order and your training is intense and focused, well then yes... it's worth it.

On the other hand...

If your diet isn't great, your training is lackluster, or you're looking to improve to

imporve the performance of aerobic activities like running, jogging,

soccer or basketball, then creatine is NOT worth it.

For those of you who do want something to improve the performance of aerobic activities,

check out my video on beta alanine.

OK, guys there you have it - the real answer to "is creatine worth it?"

SINOBOOM Extended Aerial Work Platform Demo (with commentary) - Duration: 13:17.

Dear respected board members and honored guests, good afternoon!

Today, we would like to show you a demonstration of the safety

and performance of SINOBOOM aerial work platforms.

As the saying goes, life is precious. We all know that the safety of access equipment is crucial.

All of our products meet strict, international CE standards

for stability specifications and stability testing,

to ensure that the product is stable enough, and that

even in the most dangerous conditions, it will not tip over.

Now for the first demo, which is the GTJZ1212 lateral pull test,

which tests the safety and performance of the device under tilt.

With a 320kg load on the platform, the unit has a tilt allowance of 1.5°.

In this demo, we are titling all the way to 2°, in a fully raised state.

You can see we have hung weights at the ends of a rope, to simulate

the force of an operator on the equipment, and the thrust of the wind on the equipment.

Now, please operate the controls and prepare to release the 70kg weight.

CE standards stipulate that the thrust of a single person is 20kg.

Even if two people are working at the same time, we are far beyond the requirements.

Staffing for this demo include, Mr Zou Zufang, responsible for the 12m scissor lift

Mr Li Renyi is responsible for the 20m boom lift,

Mr Zhang Jun is responsible for the 3t forklift truck,

and Mr Pan Bin is the site manager.

The 2nd demo features the GTJZ1012 in a pothole test to demonstrate the protective function

of the equipment. Scissor lifts require operation on a sturdy concrete road,

but it is difficult to avoid potholes, so this is where the pothole protection device comes into play.

When the scissor platform is raised, the pothole protection plates on both sides will deploy.

We have placed a 320kg load in the most unfavorable, extreme position.

The lift then traverses girders about 100mm high.

Please operate the controls, push the handle forward, and advance the scissor lift at maximum speed.

The pothole protection plate features a self locking device, which cannot be overridden by external forces

and can support the weight of the entire vehicle, thereby protecting the operator's safety.

SINOOBOOM staff undertaking the demo for you today are:

Mr Yang Zhengchun, responsible for the 10m scissor lift,

and Mr Jiang Xiaofeng is responsible for the 30m boom lift.

A 5T forklift is employed here.

Third in the program is the GTJZ1323D unilateral bridge float test,

which demonstrates the off-road performance of the vehicle.

A core feature of a diesel scissor is good off-road performance and strong gradeability.

This model's top speed is 5.6km/h and the maximum gradeability is 40%.

A 250mm plank has been placed on the ground, with both sides bevelled to a slope

Operator, please start the machine and approach the obstacle.

For a little technical background information here,

an aerial work platform's floating function increase stability of the wheels when rolling over obstacles,

with the four legs producing a leveling effect.

Mr Yi Yanghuai is the staff member operating the 13m diesel scissor lift in this test.

Fourth up is the lateral pull test with a GTZZ15J,

which tests the stability and resistance to tipping, under the worst conditions.

Compared with scissor lifts, the working conditions for self-propelled boom lifts are more complex,

therefore additional parameters are considered in this lateral pull test.

Our live demonstration shows a 5.5° lateral tilt and is not loaded, as this is not conducive to stability,

Please prepare to release the 110kg weight.

Stability of this vehicle is greater than that of scissor lifts.

Personnel enacting this demo are,

Mr Peng Ya, responsible for the 20m platform,

Mr Liu Zhang responsible for the 15m articulating boom lift,

Mr Zhang Jun is responsible for the 3t forklift,

and Mr Pan Bin is the site manager.

Now here are two new products for everyone:

One is the latest, electric articulating boom lift, the GTZZ14EJ.

In the new design, the arm is centered, making it more stable and reliable.

The maximum platform height is 14m, the maximum horizontal extension is 7.6m,

the loadbearing is 230kg, and the turntable rotates 365°, which is our original technology.

You will also see our brand-new 42m telescopic boom,

with a maximum platform height of 41.6m, taking you to ever greater heights.

This unit features variable track width, which is a SINOBOOM patent.

It has very reliable stability, while meeting the transportation requirements of flatbed trucks.

The maximum load is up to 480kg

and the wide foam-filled tires provide excellent grip and off-road capability.

Four-wheel-drive, four-wheel-steering, ramping, independent front-wheel steering,

and independent rear-wheel steering, provide outstanding on-site performance.

Now, there is some risk during this final test, and the testing of structural parts and cylinders is extreme.

As a special event for our, 10th anniversary, we are treating our special guests to this demonstration.

Before the demo, I had a question to test everyone:

What is the first thing to do before operating the equipment on the platform?

Fasten the safety harness and secure it in the designated position

This test simulates what may happen if someone is flung from the platform under extreme conditions.

On site, this GTZZ18J articulating boom lift has been extended to its fullest reach,

the main boom has been positioned horizontally, and a 130kg weight has been placed on the platform.

1.2m above from the working platform, a 120kg weight has been suspended 0.5m from the platform's edge,

and is connected to the platform by a rope attached to the harness anchor point.

This setup simulates 2 people being thrown out of the platform.

Please prepare to release the weight. Everyone join me in the countdown, ok?

5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

Operator!

As we can see, the 120kg weight is now hanging from the outside and the vehicle did not tip over.

SINOBOOM personnel for this test are

Mr Li Renyi, responsible for the 26m boom lift,

and Mr Zou Zufang, responsible for the 18m model.

Honored guests, this now marks the end of the product demonstration.

Following this you will have the chance experience the access platforms for yourself.

You may try out the performance of our products under the supervision of an operator.

Thank you everyone!

Léa Freire e Cartas Brasileiras na OSU - Episódio 2, Documentário - Duration: 9:36.

The Symphony Orchestra of Unicamp

is a very interesting group of musicians,

very skilled, very dear

and loving

that performed an outstanding concert.

Two, in fact.

One at the Theatre

and another at Casa do Lago on Unicamp campus,

which are very different things.

The concert at the Theatre

has a wonderful atmosphere,

because of the silcence,

and how it sounds there,

delicate and subtle.

And at Casa do Lago

everyone is blended,

the audience is almost inside the orchestra,

and they pulsate with us.

Casa do Lago

So, it is quite literally warmer

and although the accoustics

might not be so favorable,

the thrill of playing there

is unparalleled.

We really feel the warmth and fondness

of those Unicamp students and everybody else

that goes there. It's very nice.

The ideia of having a soloist quartet came from Felipe.

And it was a very welcomed one

for it helped us to distribute

the many facets of Cartas Brasileiras repertoire.

There was a little bit of everything there.

So, the Mandolin of Fábio Perón

covered the realms of Choro;

the piano of Amilton Godoy

that of the Samba-Jazz;

the percussion of Vinícius Barros

brought rhythms of all places...

and there was I... My goodness!

I had to be be there, don't you think?!

Where it all started...

I wrote Vento em Madeira

for a North-American flutist

called Keith Underwood,

who wanted a difficult

piece for flute and piano.

I've tried... but he said:

"where's the difficult?"

I did my very worst... I really tried...

but I think I can't grasp this notion of difficult...

But he ended up playing it all around the world,

and I ended up deciding to start

writing symphonic arrangements with that,

because it sounded very Brazilian, you know?

...wandering through a bunch

of northeastern (Brazilian) rhythms.

So, Vento em Madeira

was my first attempt

to write something symphonic.

At that point I had already heard a lot of symphonic music,

I had sung in a choir with a symphony orchestra,

I had a lot of classical albums and all that...

so it was not an alien enterprise.

And, modesty aside, it worked

– to my great satisfaction –

challenging me to write more and more.

Well, the idea is to keep on learning.

The whole fun of music

is that your learning never ends.

And that's what we play with.

To be continued...
