Final Grow, el documental sobre cultivo en interior - Duration: 59:59.

Hello, welcome to Final Grow

My name is Oriana and my job is to accompany you on this trip

A journey of discovery and growth

Self-cultivation is an art and a passion,

but it is also a science

We will be teaching you, step by step, everything you need to obtain the best results

and we'll be showing you the most innovative products

If you want,

together we will get started learning the basics

and also gain a deeper insight into the world of more specialized cultivation

Indoor growing

This is the space we will be working with

On one hand, we need to assemble our grow room

and understand exactly how each of its elements work

On the other,

we will focus on the actual growing process

This is the place in which we will grow our plants

The work that we do is purely scientific

We will choose the products that we consider to be the best and put them to work

We will analyze the data and draw conclusions from that

Does this seem complicated?

Well, don't worry because that's what we're here for

Also, we have decided to take it one step further,

taking the brand that we will be trusting to take care of our plants, and analyzing it in detail

This is a very important lesson,

since there are multiple factors to consider:

efficiency, expertise,

as well as ecological factors and good practices.

In order to do this, we're travelling to the Netherlands

In the modern age, the Netherlands have been the birthplace of the industry's revolution and research

as an innovating region in horticultural techniques

Out of all of the companies in this powerful agricultural industry,

we went with Plagron

They are one of the most respected veteran brands in the industry,

with more than 25 years of experience,

and they have put great care into three fundamental areas:

raw materials,

research

and strict quality control policies

Our visit to their facilities, laboratories and production plants

will allow us to see what different relevant aspects are taken into account

in the development of products, depending on the style of growth we are looking for

So, with what we learn there and what we learn here,

we will have a more global understanding of indoor growing techniques

What do you think of the plan?

Plants breathe

Like us, plants need movement and the continuous renewal of air

in order to feed and grow, pest free

and blooming with health and happiness,

and for that, just opening a window is not good enough for them

We can go for a walk,

but, this poor little thing can't go anywhere

For this, and for all of our plants,

a good ventilation and extracting system will suffice

How do we get our grow room started?

The first thing is cubing

Cubing means measuring the space in cubic meters

The ventilation system that we have will depend on the measurement in cubic meters

And the formula is very easy,

just measure and multiply:

width x length x height

The result will be the cubic meters of air

that we will need to remove at least every three minutes

These are the appliances that we need for good ventilation:

an exhaust fan,

a filter,

ventilation ducts that connect them,

an ozonizer,

and a cooling fan

The most important: an extractor fan for air circulation

We trust this task to a brand that we have complete confidence in,

Hyperfan

Hyperfan extractors are lightweight and have a compact design

Their engines,

with a dual flow brushless impeller,

make them the most efficient in the industry

and their speed can be adjusted according to the needs of the crop

It has the lowest energy consumption in the market

Once the extractor fan is assembled, we'll move on to the filter

Each extractor fan will need the appropriate filter

We choose Falcon filters for their power and reliability

The filters are made out of aluminum for lighter growing,

and they are of professional quality for a low price

They consist of flexible aluminum tubes

with iron fiber with active carbon inside

When air is absorbed by the tube,

the charcoal filter breaks down odor particles causing them to disappear

The most suitable ventilation ducts tend to be the flexible

and insulated with different layers of materials in order to prevent noises and leaks

These ones from Sono Connect are great

Sono Connect is a type of flexible tube with acoustic and thermal protection

It reduces the noise generated by the extractor fans

Its construction is based on a system of layers that makes it very effective

The Aluconnect tube has more of a plastic insulating material,

plus a layer of soundproof fiberglass,

plus another layer of aluminum exterior,

which makes it effective for reducing noise

And the always effective ozonizer,

ideal for supporting ventilation and for the safe removal of the air

To be safe, we will use this Ozo3 ozonizer

This is an Ozo3 ozonizer,

one of the most reliable niche brands on the market

The ozone gas oxidizes the surfaces,

and when it picks up a suspended odor particle it oxidizes and destroys it

The ozone released into the air kills fungi, bacteria and viruses

We can place this in our air extraction system

It is a reinforcement for the filter that we have installed

It's a good idea to install it, because any failure in the filter,

even a tiny pinhole,

will cause odors to be released onto the street,

so we make sure that, whatever happens,

air is ventilated out that is 100% decontaminated from odors

Why is it necessary to have a fan?

It is necessary to keep the air moving so that it doesn't become stale,

but the most important task in indoor growing

is to supply natural air flow

Keeping the plants in constant movement

encourages their stems to grow strong,

otherwise we'd have to spend a lot of time

staking each stem with sticks and netting

The important thing is that it reaches all of the plants

It will always be pointed at the growing area but oscillating, not fixed

As I was saying, with a fan we will see at least three improvements:

dropping a few degrees in temperature,

allowing our plants to breathe in better air,

free of dust, fungus, and bacteria,

and they will get stronger

by constantly resisting air flow

This Cyclone fan is small and silent, but very powerful

Its small size means that you can place it anywhere in your growing area

It is quiet, but powerful

It packs a lot of power and adjusts to three speeds,

without creating more noise

As you can hear,

it is very quiet

It rotates about 180 degrees,

thereby creating a good air flow in each growing area

In our case we have a powerful extractor fan,

which will circulate the air without problems,

but, just in case,

we can use an intractor

and a Hyperfan Standard will work wonderfully

This Hyperfan Standard can handle very powerful flow rates

and has a cutting-edge design

But their main advantages are:

less electricity consumption

and smooth, quiet and efficient functioning

With a state-of-the-art multiphase motor,

it is fitted with smart bearings that reduce friction

and lengthen its life

as well as a speed controller that adjusts speed from 35% up to 100%

Hyperfan systems are always a professional choice

and very easy to use

With indoor growing we have complete control

over the light received by the plants,

that's why tried to offer you a of well-balanced choice of options,

taking into account factors such as the ratio

between energy savings

and crop yields,

and heat, which can cause the plants severe stress

The first thing that we need is to know is which reflector to use,

because our selection of the rest of the elements will depend on this

We ended up with this model Sun System DeBoss

There goes the light

As its name suggests, a reflector's function is to reflect light from the bulb,

amplifying it and distributing it across a larger surface area

That is why there are so many different prices because, as you will see,

they not only vary by quality, but their design also comes into play

To take advantage of maximum levels and a good yield,

we need to keep the plants as close as possible to the light source

and a good reflector will allow us to take full advantage of

the power and intensity of the lamps

Made of top quality aluminum,

and completely sealed with glass,

with hinges and double seals for an airtight seal

It is specifically for double-ended lamps

Once you know what reflector you're using, choose a bulb that will fit

Their power is measured with square meters

Some prefer to use these throughout the entire flowering phase,

and 1000 W don't seem to be too much for them

Others get by with 400,

because they place more value on energy savings

We opted for moderation

and met in the middle

We stick with this Solux Lec 630 W double capped bulb

The most popular choices in lamps

range from fluorescent tubes,

used for plants and cuttings,

to the halides or LEDs

The most common have always been high-pressure sodium lamps,

because they combine high efficiency with a long duration

Both of these, like halide lamps,

require a ballast to allow cultivation

in both the growth and flowering phases

Our experts recommend that we launch ourselves into ceramic or LEC technology

Ceramic bulbs are the most advanced on the market

and produce the closest light quality to that of the sun,

which enhances the development of trichomes and terpenes in the bud

These lamps have double the power of sodium

consuming nearly half the energy,

and also reducing the heat released by 50%

A dimmable ballast allows you to choose the light power at each growth phase

In order to get a little more continuous, quality light,

we chose: a Solux electronic ballast

This device is a ballast

Its function is to change the current input to what you need for the lamp,

which will need our LEC bulb

In addition, electronic ballasts,

unlike magnetic ones,

do not flicker,

which is much better for the plants

As we mentioned

we will be combining these with double-ended lamps, which are also Solux brand,

to obtain the best result

We use this Colossus ballast because it works so wonderfully

It weighs less than 4 pounds

and can be mounted on the wall

It has a quick start feature

that gets it to full power in just a minute

Its safety circuit protects both the ballast and the lamp

It has more light output

More light output means a better harvest

You can control the intensity of the light,

so you don't have to change the bulb

In short, ballast plus reflector

combined with a ceramic LEC light bulb

To adjust the temperature and humidity,

we can use a thermohygrometer,

or opt for a more professional solution

such as this Uci Digital HortiTec controller,

which allows us to automatically control

all of the factors involved in cultivation

The blue plugs are for the extractor fans, intractors and fans

You can set different temperatures for day and night,

as well as the speed of the fans until it is reached

This power strip with 6 yellow plugs is for grow lamps

You can connect four 600 W bulbs

or six 400 W bulbs to it

On the LCD screen, we can see the temperature, humidity

On the LCD screen, we can see the temperature, humidity

and the different outputs are activated with icons

Using this same screen,

we can program all of these parameters and access

the alarm list

and recorded historical data on all the crops

By the way, the screen lights up in green so as not to disturb the plants in their dark phase

And, with the simple push of a button,

the Uci climate controller goes into manual mode

This function allows you to turn any of the outputs on or off whenever you want,

without having to alter the programming

Once we have this,

it will be essential to mount our own switchboard

From one power source we can connect a switchboard,

so that this circuit operates separately from the rest of the house,

and we don't, for example, lose power to the refrigerator or the aquarium when we are not home

We take all of the cables:

from the pumps, ozonizer, lights,

and put each one in a connection,

so that we will have a self-contained, secure electrical installation

Safety is the most important thing when working with electricity,

especially when there is water in the equation,

so don't forget a grounded connection

and to protect the cables from water

Because we're going to have water and lots of it

Seriously, the next time you see me I will be like a watering can

Since we already have air and light,

we need only the third fundamental element for our plants,

water

It is important to use quality water,

suited to the plant depending on its growth stage

And for that, we will need a reverse osmosis filter

We chose one of the best brands: Growmax

This is the Mega Grow 1000 model by Growmax,

capable of providing us with 40 liters of pure water per hour

It removes up to 95% of salts, heavy metals, herbicides and pesticides,

volatile organic contaminants,

nitrates, nitrites and up to 99% of chlorine

It comes with: a complete installation kit with tubing for connection to the water inlet,

a pipe for osmosis water,

a pipe for water disposal,

each 3 meters long,

connections for indoor and outdoor water taps,

a key for opening and closing the filters,

and a user manual in 6 different languages

All of the Growmax Water osmosis equipment

has been designed to minimize water wear to the drain,

with a ratio of approximately 2:1

pH levels go from 0 to 14

value of between 0 and 7 is acidic,

and one with a value of between 7 and 14 is alkaline

Pure water, at room temperature,

has a pH of 7

and is considered neutral,

but plants like slightly acidic substances,

so a pH closer to 5.5

may also be considered neutral for them

The important thing is that a higher salinity affects the roots

and could cause them not to absorb as many nutrients as they should,

which is why we remove lime, chlorine, salt, and grime

with our reverse osmosis filter

These types of monitors are an insurance for the home grower

and soon they will be our best friends

Look how pretty it is!

Using these sensors, we will get measurements every 24 hours,

of important factors such as the conductivity,

temperature and pH

This Bluelab Guardian monitor

gives you 24-hour measurements

of factors such as pH,

electro-conductivity,

and temperature

If a parameter deviates from the usual measurement,

the screen will light up as a warning that something is wrong

It also has:

a screen with large numbers for easy viewing,

selectable values for conductivity and temperature,

an automatic calibration button for pH,

memory that won't be erased even if you lose power,

and a waterproof design

As you can see we now have control of the elements:

air, water, light

But to be a true demigod,

we need to master at least one more

Earth

And here is where our journey really begins

Since we have prepared our grow room,

we can get down to business,

planting our seeds and beginning to grow

For our growing we opted for Plagron's 100% natural line,

ensuring healthy plants

with good growth,

optimal yield

and good flavor from organic fertilizers

It was developed especially for cannabis cultivation, both indoor and outdoor

It is an organic medium,

made of black and white fibrous peat,

which provide an optimal structure for the development of the roots,

perlite which improves aeration and water retention,

worm humus which ensures an exceptional growth

and improves the substrate's absorption capacity

And Bio Super Mix,

a solid fertilizer designed by Plagron,

which contains live fungi and bacteria, vitamins and minerals,

which together ensure a supply of nutrients

for development without delays

and plants that are healthy and strong

And now that I'm going for my seeds,

it's a great time to go back to Holland

and hear, straight from Plagron,

the secrets to substrates and their lines of fertilizer

Let's go have a look, and afterwards, time to germinate

The origin of the brand?

Actually that's quite a nice question that you ask me this...

Because it's much more simple than most people think

In fact, it's got everything to do with this

I'll show you

This is called,

in Dutch,

this is called "plant soil"

If you look at the name Plagron it's actually two Dutch words

One is "plant",

and the other is "soil"

In Dutch it means Platgrond

Put the two together, an then you get

Plagron

Let me tell you something about our philosophy

And what you smell actually

is our organic fertilizers which are being digested,

what normally would happen in the soil

This smell, the ammonia you smell,

for me it is a very special smell,

because it means we are creating something

that normally would have done in nature

Which is actually plant food,

and that's what you see laying here

This is our Supermix, for instance

One of our other products is Ground Control,

which is one of the basic ingredients we use

in our Royal Mix and our All Mix

And on the other side you see a combination of bat guano

So, everything

we bring to our customers has got an actual story behind it

This is our kitchen. From here here originates everything we are going to make,

and that's actually quite special, because the thing is everything we make

is organic,

which means we cannot use minerals

which means everything we have got here is very exotic

For instance, bat guano

originates from Cuba,

from Indonesia

and from New Zealand

We've got volcanic ash

which comes also from New Zealand

which means... We've got a lot of different ingredients

from different regions of the world,

which makes this place very special

This is actually the head of the company

which means everything which is very important

is being done here

And let me explain to you why our head is very important to us

The main reason is actually,

actually are two main reasons

One, new products,

and the other one

is of course keeping quality as people expect it to be

But let me show you how we do this, okay?

Let's go in the other room

Here is where we're making new products and also we are controlling

every product which is produced in the factory,

that's according to specification,

and actually this is quite a simple test

Like on this side you see two ovens

Well, in these ovens what do we do?

We simulate the effect of climate

here within the factory

Which means we export products all over the world

Sometimes in a container we deal with temperatures above 50 or 60 degrees

But, what do we want? That our products are 100% quality

when they arrive to a client

Therefore, everything is simulated here

and we, yeah, then we know for certain that the products will be

in good quality arriving to our clients

We've got here different plants standing

at this moment, on this side

we've got a test I think with the bell peppers,

, where we're using different kinds of basic nutrients

with little variations

And at the end what we're gonna do is we're gonna look very closely the plant

How big is the leaf surface,

how big is the root surface,

how many fruits are on

and also the breaks of the fruit which are on

This makes it possible for us to make a comparison between

different kinds of products and then we can see in practice how they will perform

For us at Plagron it's very important that we also think about the environment,

and this is for two main reasons:

one is of course we want to leave something behind

for our children which is very good to live on,

and the other thing is we're eating our own products,

which means everything we do must be healthy

Therefore, everything is checked on heavy metals,

it's checked on plant pathogens,

on human pathogens,

it's checked on viruses, so everything

which leaves the factory is 100% safe

and good for the environment and good for the people who use them

Every product we bring to the market

is in a continuous process of being developed

to better formulation

This, for instance if you look at the Terra Grow

here we've got different mixtures

of the Terra Grow and Terra Bloom

which are evolving within the year

Every time we listen to our customers,

we listen to our own people

and also our own ideas

are being put into new mixtures

We're evolving an old nutrient

to new formulation

instead of introducing a new product

we chose for the fact that every year we improve the nutrients

we already have

to a better standard

Maybe we want to have a nutrient which performs better with less light,

or maybe we want to improve the nutrient in such a way

that you get less diseases for your plant,

or maybe you want to improve the plant

just that we can have a specific

component being produced into the plant

So, there are more questions than answers

So, I don't think in our lifetime we will

develop enough

to have our end goal

It's never ending

We wanted to do something which was a combination

of our knowledge

with giving something back

And we found a project in Africa

in which we could contribute,

in such a way

that it would be not giving plain money

but giving a bit more

So, in Africa at this moment

we are running a project

with a school

in which we teach the children

how they should treat their plants,

what kind of nutrients they should use,

and how they should treat their soil

to get at the end of a year a result they could eat

And this is something we want to give back

These are the stars of the show,

the seeds

This is perhaps the fundamental choice of the grower

as there is a wide variety available

For this, it is critical that you research it,

that you try things out

Tastes, properties,

feelings you'd like,

such as real gourmets

Ideally you will to look for some seed banks

that take time professionally selecting the genetics of the plants

We have gone with one of the best,

Élite Seeds

And we have chosen this variety

This are feminized cannabis seeds

of the Llimonet Haze variety

This is a hybrid plant of 95% sativa and 5% indica,

rich in CBD

But the best person to tell us about its virtues, is its true mom,

Ana Ramón of Élite Seeds

Élite Seeds is a seed bank

of high quality feminized seeds,

which was founded in the year 2007

Our goal is to produce and deliver varieties

that reach all growers with specific cannabinoid contents,

so that people aren't just choosing between some citrus sativa, or a sweet indica,

but they are also able to choose how high they want to get

The selection process begins with research into these types of varieties,

which is a very difficult process

Because it is like looking for a needle in a haystack

We talk about a lot of the countries where pure varieties originated from

We dive into all of these varieties

and look for the cannabinoids that we are interested in

Once we have succeeded, we also begin a very difficult process

of obtaining plants from this descent,

which are morphologically desirable for growers,

and which have the characteristics of the highest quality cannabis

By this I mean that they produce a hard, compact, resinous bud,

with a terpene quality and a highly concentrated aroma,

and that they are plants that are fun to consume, right?

The seeds that we have given to Oriana are a CBD-rich version of our mythic sativa,

Llimonet Haze

The THC version is a very powerful sativa that is powerfully psychoactive

It is a plant that can even be hallucinogenic when consumed

For people who have a certain hypersensitivity to THC,

when they smoke it they feel introspective effects,

or lose control over their buzz, right?

So, our goal with the CBD rich version was to tame

this subversive THC effect a bit,

and get a plant that offers the most characteristic effects of sativas,

as it can have a euphoric, cheerful and active effect,

and also have a very lucid effect

that would allow tasks that require concentration

And what we have achieved that with this version of Llimonet Haze,

in this case rich in CBD

The variety that Oriana is using has an approximate 1:1 ratio

That is to say, it contains approximately the same amount of THC as it does CBD

and it is a plant that has a very balanced,

and as I said before, very lucid effect

And now yes, here comes the real exciting part

We're going to germinate

And to do this we will use this hands-on germination kit from Plagron

Plagron's Seedbox is a kit for germinating seeds which contains:

A seedbed or mini-greenhouse with 12 peat pellets

and 250 ml of Seedbooster Start,

a germination accelerator and root stimulator

which guarantees a 99% success rate

And as you will see, the process is very simple

In the first place, we open the box

and take out all of its contents

Always following the very simple instructions

And the first step will be to mix 250 ml of water provided by our reverse osmosis filter

with the 250 ml of Seedbooster that comes in this bottle

Once the liquid is poured,

it is important that you mix it well,

and now that we are ready,

we will pour it evenly over our peat pellets

Now about 15 minutes have passed,

and the peat pellets have already absorbed all of the liquid

As you can see, now our little capsules of life are looking moist and spongy,

and it is now time to add the Llimonet Haze seeds

So, with a lot of care and clean hands,

we will be putting them, one by one,

into the top hole,

which is about as deep as the size of a fingernail

So very carefully, okay?

Now we will cover them very carefully

And the next step will be

to close our greenhouse

and leave them to rest until they work their magic

And now, the time has come for independence

Here we have what will be their home,

the place where they will grow happily

If you look, they have already practically doubled in height

If we look at them from here,

they're already standing about two finger-widths

above the height of the box

Meaning, we can finally put them into their designated planter

We have chosen this Rutomatic model,

which has a very curious design

that is very effective at the same time,

because it will allow the roots to grow radially

But for this to work perfectly,

what are we missing? Filling them with a substrate

What substrate?

I have filled the planter

with Allmix substrate from the 100% natural range

We have made a small hole here in which to place the peat pellet

and we can leave it more or less covered up to the middle of the stem

And it can stay here, relaxed and settled in to its new home

Each type of substrate has a custom line of fertilizer

You can't nurture a coconut with a soil substrate, for example

To know how these products should be used week to week,

manufacturers always give us these practical charts

How do you use them?

These charts are designed for all types of indoor and outdoor growing

and for all types of plants

We will rely on these to add basic recommended nutrients

and additives to the irrigation depending on the plant's development each week

The doses are suggested,

and we will use them loosely depending on crop's development

According to the chart, the fertilization

is designed not to exceed the appropriate pH levels

Remember,

these are between 5.5 and 7

We'll review the environmental conditions of the growth phase

The first thing to consider is light

During the growth phase we must leave the plants

with the lights on for 18 hours

and off for 6 hours

Temperature

The temperature should not exceed 25 to 26 degrees

Humidity

The humidity of the environment should be 50 to 60%

Irrigation water

The pH of irrigation water should be between 5.5 and 5.8

in order for it to absorb nitrogen,

which is what our plants eat during the growth phase

Fertilization

We should not add fertilizers, at least, not until our plant has about 6 leaves,

and from there, add it in slowly

We're going to prepare the first watering that our plants will receive,

a very important moment

And how will we do this?

With one liter of clean, pure water from our reverse osmosis filter,

to which we will add different Plagron products

that contribute to the irrigation water's properties

The good thing about this natural product line from Plagron

is that it does not affect the salinity, the acidity or the alkalinity of the water

Yes, what we need to make sure of during the whole growth process

is that the pH is kept at adequate levels

Meaning between 5.5 and 7

We will insert the sensors from our monitor to see what reading it gives us

Pay attention to empirical evidence

We have prepared 2 ml of Power Roots

to one liter of water

Mix

And we will insert the sensors

to see what reading it gives us

To get the perfect recipe,

we have followed Plagron's chart

The chart tells us the dose for every 10 liters of irrigation water

We will adjust this number, in our case, to one liter

We added 2 ml of Alga Grow,

1 ml of Power Roots,

and before watering our plants

we have to mix it very well

And to make it less awkward,

we will put the contents of the pitcher into my watering can

and it will be easier to reach all of our plants

Power Roots from Plagron

is specially designed with a base of Norwegian Kelp,

to strengthen the roots

Kelp is a seaweed rich in iodine, potassium and vitamin B

Alga Grow from Plagron is a compost-based 100% organic nutrient,

which provides a rich source of nitrogen and abundant trace elements,

which accelerate development in the crop's first growth stage

The stems will grow strong, at a good pace,

and we will be sure not to have any left over,

because Alga Grow contains algae extracts,

pulp from sugar beets and amino acids

It is entirely organic and easily absorbed by our plants

And now, let's water them

At this stage we can also add Vita Race,

just once a week and always as a spray

It can be used for growth and flowering,

to supplement the diet of your plants with iron,

sprayed directly onto leaves and stems

By spraying our plants, they will grow taller and stronger,

growing good stems and branches

that will withstand the weight of the buds in the flowering stage

Apply it all over the plant being sure to soak both the top and bottom of the leaves

When does the blooming phase begin?

2 weeks after transplanting, we must change the photoperiod to 12-12

12 hours of light,

and 12 hours of total darkness

Light

We should give the plants a photoperiod of 12-12

Humidity

The humidity should not exceed 40%

50% maximum to avoid fungi

Irrigation water

We will have to raise the pH of the irrigation water to 6.5 – 6.8

At these levels, the plants eat more phosphorus and potassium

which is what flowering plants need to generate big flowers

So, we enter the flowering phase,

in which our plants double or triple in size,

and this means another change in fertilization

We are entering the flowering phase, preparing for the first irrigation during flowering

According to the Plagron chart,

we will have to change the proportions of additives that we put into the irrigation water

We prepared 1 liter of reverse osmosis water to which we will add Alga Bloom

This is a stimulant for flowering

made entirely with algae,

so all that we add will be natural components

This will help the flowers to be more robust, dense, and aromatic

And according to the information on the chart,

the measurement is 4 ml

4 ml for our liter of water,

40 ml for 10 liters

Now we will add Power Roots

which is also a stimulant, but for the roots

With it, we will get super strong roots, which will withstand anything

and have a greater absorption capacity

We're going to add 1 ml

And this is the irrigation water that we will use for the next 3 weeks of flowering

Now, simply pour it into our favorite watering can,

and water!

During flowering, we will continue applying Vita Race

to the leaves

until the buds have a shape and a size that is more or less tight

From then on, we will no longer spray them

The plants take about 10 days to realize that they are in the flowering phase,

so they continue to grow, but they are preparing themselves

This is called prefloration

Here we should begin to use a flowering stimulator

together with a growth one

Plagron offers us this great Green Sensation

which enhances the development, the consistency and the flavor

of flowers and fruits

Green Sensation is a growth additive from Plagron,

a natural product that gives the plants an extra push in the last flowering phase

without using any type of chemical fertilizer

You can use it during the last 4 to 6 weeks

and it will provide the extra needed PK

along with a large amount of sugars

which fill our cell walls, giving more density,

weight and taste to the bud

We are already in the sixth week of flowering

The plant is doing perfectly at this stage,

and now the flowers are ready to get fatter

The leaves have a glossy green color that indicates health

and they are large,

which is great,

because that means more leaf area, and more capacity to receive light

Another detail that we see here

is that there is a very short internodal distance,

which is why some of the flowers are able to come together

into a glossy main bud

The time has come to change the irrigation again

We have one liter of water from our Grow Max reverse osmosis filter

and from now on

we will just continue to use Alga Bloom

and add Green Sensation

We want the Alga Bloom to continue to fuel flowering,

so according to the chart we will add 3 ml

3 ml per liter

30 for 10 liters

And since we want to focus all of our energy on the flower,

this product will cause the buds to grow

heavier with resin and look gorgeous

We will be adding 1 ml of Green Sensation

every week of the fattening period

1 ml for every liter

10 for 10 liters

These wonders of nature are already in their seventh week

and if you look, you see more brown tips in their white hairs

They have just the right amount of biomass,

that is to say, in the leaves and stems

We see that there are reddish stems and parts

in areas that receive more lumens

Careful!

Because in this phase there are people who try to add phosphorus and potassium

to accelerate the maturation process,

which is when all of their white hairs turn brown

But Ana Ramón insisted

that we not speed this process up too much,

because as long as there are white hairs, that means that the bud is getting fatter

And that is what we want

As I mentioned,

this is due to the short internodal distance

Here, this bud is already developing

with all of these satellites orbiting around it

A true spectacle of nature

Now let's remove any of these leaves that don't look so good

so that all of the plant's energy can be focused where it is needed

It's week 8 already and we have one final question

When do we cut?

Only you know when it's time to harvest

If you want to get buds that are hard and tight,

aromatic,

full of resin and that won't shrink as they dry...

I have one piece of advice

Patience

In order to know when to cut, we must make sure

that the calyxes are filled with resin,

no more white hairs are growing,

and, that the plant no longer drinks up water, it's not thirsty

Our plants are definitely there

How can we detect deficiencies in our plants?

As a general rule, the leaves turn yellow when there are deficiencies,

and when they are over-fertilized,

they take the shape of a claw

If they feel stiff, there is an excess of salts

When the bud is beginning to be a brown color,

we'll stop adding fertilizer to the irrigation water

That way, we can make sure that when we cut our plants

in about 10 days or so,

we will not be able to detect the flavor of any products that we have added

When our flowers can't get any bigger,

and when our plants don't drink water,

the time will come for cutting

And for such a special occasion

we have invited Ana Ramón of Élite Seeds

Hello! How are you?

Hello Ana! Welcome home What do you think of the state of the plants?

Well, I see that you have them in good shape

I see that you have a hand for growing,

a green thumb as we say

Thank You

They're looking good, they're generally very healthy

What do you think about their general health?

I see them as worthy representatives

of the characteristics of this Llimonet Classic CBD variety

As you can see, they have formed a bud that has come together

The flowers have a short internodal distance,

despite being a sativa, a haze,

which normally has a morphological structure with few stems

with more separation between stems

With a basis of work of nurturing and plant improvement,

we have achieved a structure which,

while still having a haze aroma and its euphoric effects, is cheerful, active,

and has a certain structure kind of like indica, right?

So that the bud comes together,

to be a thick, hard, compact head,

not too lanky,

with lots of internodal distance,

like we are generally used to seeing with the morphology of most sativa plants,

but yes, it preserves, as you can see, all of that citrusy, lemony haze aroma,

then at this point we should focus

on the state of the hairs all over it, mostly in a state of maturation

The tips of the hairs are brown

and then it goes down to the bottoms and these are dehydrated

to the point that they are brown and totally thin, totally dry

Then look at the state of the hairs and we could also,

with a magnifying glass, look at the state of the trichomes

The trichomes are little lollipops

which contain resin

They are like lollipops, if they are seen under a microscope,

of course, not to the naked eye

But viewed through a microscope, they are shaped like a lollipop,

as in a stick and a ball

The ball, when the plant is not mature, its contents are transparent,

and as it matures they become milkier,

and, when they are mature enough, they take on amber color tones,

until all of the trichome

is an amber color

This, depends on your tastes. Right?

The amount of hairs and the amount of trichome amber per sample

There are people who like to cut sooner because they want a more euphoric, more active effect

And there are people who like to cut a little bit later,

because the effect is a little more corporal

Also, if you cut later, the plant

will always be a little sweeter

It will always be more mature

And in this case we have plants that are highly medicinal

Tell us about these CBD and THC proportions

Let's see, these plants contain

virtually the same amount of CBD as THC

They tend to contain a little more CBD than THC

THC is the psychoactive component of cannabis

and CBD has an absorbing psychoactive effect

So, when we grow plants with a 1:1 ratio,

that means that they contain almost the same amount of THC as CBD,

and these are plants that are going to have an effect

that is very lightweight, very lucid

and you can also benefit from the cannabinoid CBD,

which is also super interesting in its use for wellness

The most sought-after is a combination of both

Plants that contain both

A balance

A balance, yes, as always, just like anything in life, isn't it?

Well, let's get cutting

Should we start?

Yes. We'll get started

There are several ways of doing this

And "there's more than one way to skin a cat", right?

But I normally go about it this way

When I'm going to cut a whole plant, and I'm not just cutting the ripe parts,

but everything is pretty much the same,

I usually start from below, right?

So, we cut branch by branch

from the bottom up

We leave the jackpot for the end

We're going to find two types

A leaf that is not going to contain any trichome resin

That is, if we touch it

It's not sticky

It's not sticky. That's right

We don't see trichomes of resin in the stem, or its base,

therefore it is leave that isn't really useful because all of its active components

are mainly found in the resin glands,

so this leaf we could,

get rid of it or put it in the compost bin

to make compost,

or we can make a poultice out of it,

something that you don't need a lot of the active component for,

but just the plant, a soap, scented soap, for example

We'll hold onto it Ana, you never know

If we have some free time one of these days to make soap

Well, yes of course

And that way we take advantage of everything

This leaf came off whole, right?

We've already finished here look, and leaf has practically no trichome either

Let's get rid of that one too

We'll put then over here

Here we've finished with the, let's say, least attractive leaves. Right?

It is not that we don't like them but the more trichome, the better, right?

More substance

Now let's go for the leaf that has trichome

This leaf depends. For example: I never mix marijuana with tobacco,

I smoke it pure, so I leave in the leaves with trichome,

because they work as a base to combine with the bud

But we're going to trim it a little bit neater, like for contest

We've reached Oriana's stem

See where the stem is?

The stem of the leaf

And being careful not to take off half of the bud,

just take off the stem of the leaf

Bam! It's still intact. See?

We can make ourselves a butter... an oil

Remember that resinous trichomes,

the active components in cannabis, do not dissolve in water,

they only dissolve in fats and alcohols

And I've ended up at the tip, but as you can see,

the trichome resin reaches up to the end

We'll keep it, okay?

All that I have left comes virtually to the end

If you wanted it to look prettier or more professional,

you would take off the tips

That would make it more refined

Refined and with a certain aesthetic

And what's our next step?

Our next step would be to put it in the dryer. Right?

So, here are some conditions that are very obvious:

an airy, dark room, to the extent possible

Right

Cool and dry

That would be ideal

The most important thing would be:

aeration and dryness,

also a cool temperature, because it's too hot

it will dry too soon

The plants (buds) we would have to leave hanging

for about 12 or 15 days

With a clothespin?

Do you have any mechanism so that they don't get out?

I just use the branch

and put it on a clothesline that way

Put up a clothesline

We put it up on a clothesline, with our first branch,

as long as it's not the thickest but, yes, the first one. Huh?

Since then with the same bud, pin, pin, pin

What a good idea! I didn't think it was that easy!

But sometimes we do question whether

we should follow the chart to a T,

Yes

or see if, at a certain time, the plant

doesn't need exactly those amounts

What can we do?

Well the growing charts are always a rough estimate

Since not all varieties have the same flowering times

and growing periods

we will have to adapt the chart

to the specific variety that you are growing

You also have to let the plant tell you

If the plant is a very dark green color

and shows symptoms that it is eating too much

Then... you should lay off on fertilizers

Try irrigating them with fertilizer, then without,

with, without, on and off so, alternating

You should always listen to the plant

On one hand, fertilization charts

are rough estimates

That is to say,

sometimes you have to adapt them to the variety you are growing,

but they are exact when it comes to the products

If a brand of fertilizer recommends the use of a few specific products,

don't try to be innovative,

because sometimes that can be harmful, right?

And stick to the products that are recommended by the brand

If there was another product that the brand though was necessary

for the fertilization cycle,

I can assure you that it would be included

And, as you can see, carefully and step-by-step,

the plant is now ready for us to hit the jackpot

How shall we continue, Ana?

With the same care that we were using

Don't be intimidated by its size or appearance

Let's keep going. And, we are going to cut this

a little bit bigger than other branches we just did, right?

And you also cut in a very defined place

for here under a knot

I cut it under here so that when we hang it up

we have a bit of room for hanging. Right?

Then we will keep going, like we did with the other smaller branches

We removed the leaves that do not contain resinous trichomes,

that is to say the first round of leaves. Right?

And you already see that it is hard to find leaves without resin, because...

Even the big ones have a little!

It just shows the quality of the plant's genetics

and that it has a very significant

resinous trichome content so that even the leaves end up containing it

How much? Do we cut these from here? Or use more of it?

These can be cut, and like you did so well before,

we're going to remove the very tips of them

Right

Which doesn't contain any,

and the stem

and the first part of the leaflets

We will have to cure it

We will begin the curing process

Of course

Which is just as important as all of the steps that we have taken up until now

Here a wrong move

could lead to a bad result

Meaning...

You could even lose the harvest

Of course. And we don't want that to happen

Because we've spent a lot of time and effort

Of course. You've cured so much

For this curing process what advice should we follow

The first thing would be to have the plant hanging upside down in a dark,

ventilated, cool room

for about 12 or 15 days

Then we will do what we call...

make sure that the plant... let's see

this is what I say in my house, I don't how technical the language is,

but I call it,

"make sure the marijuana has that crunch",

that it's crunchy

So, what I do is, after hanging it upside down

about 12 or 15 days...

I grab a stem, right? A thick stem

and I bend it in half, right?

As you see, right now the plant...

It's flexible

and it doesn't just "snap"

and break off the bud, right?

Would that be like the "snap" sound like when you cut a fresh green asparagus?

Exactly

When the plant is good,

it's good to put the buds in a jar to cure,

that would be after 12 or 15 days

on the clothesline, I go to the clothesline,

take a stem,

and the twig will go "snap"

and it will break,

so I can take it off

And when it crunches like that

it's time to

stop and go bud by bud

with the scissors, bam, bam, bam

Cut the branch

To put in jars. We'll cut each bud

and put it in an airtight glass

or plastic jar

Keep in mind that plastic jars tend to be translucent

Leave it in a dark drawer

They shouldn't be in the light

Right. Leave it in the dark

I don't know if it's best to wrap it up to be safe

That's not necessary, if it was in a dark pantry

that would be enough

There is a very important step

that you pay special attention to

This is the preservation of these jars. Right?

Be very careful of the plant's moisture,

because it could lead us to another problem with the process

With humidity. Exactly

Right

Especially in areas like Valencia for example

In Madrid this doesn't occur

Madrid has a very low humidity,

so they the opposite problem that the plant breaks apart

In that case what you can do,

if the plants curing in your jar are too dry

would be to use a wet cannabis leaf

Put it inside, so that...

So that the moisture is absorbed and re-balances

Exactly

Brilliant

We always have to understand that even though the plant is dry,

it's not over

It is still going to be influenced by environmental conditions

and you can go from having a quality plant,

at the crunch stage, to having it ruined

Right?

Always be aware of that never open the jars on a humid day

Always keep the outside humidity in mind,

and we should open the jars once every 10 days, once a week

Well, there we have it

We've got it

What a beauty! Right?

It's great

I... I want to adopt it

Adopt the little bud

This is something that each one of you can do at home because

remember Ana that it is a practice that we will be doing

in our own house

For our own use

Very important

It is important, because, as consumers,

the way to always have a supply

will always be growing for self-consumption to the extent possible

Meaning that we don't have to get cannabis

from anywhere other than our own hands,

our own land,

and that we are there at every step of the cultivation process

This is always going to be, in a situation of illegality

like ours today, the safest way to consume cannabis,

without having to buy from...

Weird places out there

Weird places out there, and you can grow to keep yourself fully stocked

As you have done

Hard work, consumption, responsibility, knowledge...

Smart use, knowledge

And everything that we always suggest,

and that everything falls within common sense

It's not complicated at all, just use common sense,

reason and knowledge,

which are essential for the type of use that we are talking about

Friends, friends, you have just heard the wise words of Ana,

and her invaluable advice

We're going to say goodbye to you for the moment,

because we will continue to see you on Final Grow

And you know that you will be watching every step

along the way in order follow along with ease at home

And with our harvest, our work here is done,

but we could not say goodbye to Ana, without analyzing the results of the crop

It's been a few days

and we contacted her,

as she has already analyzed the samples and has the reports

The moment of truth has arrived

Well let's see the results

from the samples that you brought

of Llimonet Haze Classic CBD

I can tell you right away that

there were very high levels of cannabinoids,

both THC and CBD,

which means that the plants have been well cultivated,

as we discussed the other day

And I'll tell you the amounts of each of the specific samples

We're going to talk in percentages

Let's start with THC levels and then we will follow that with CBD levels

Sample number 1 of Llimonet Haze Classic CBD

grown by you

is 8.2% THC

and 11.8% CBD

The total amount of cannabinoids is 20%

Sample number 2 of Llimonet is 7.9% THC

and 10.8% CBD

A total amount of cannabinoids of 18.7%

which is also very good

Sample 3 has the high percentages of 9.8% THC

and 10.7% CBD

with a total amount of cannabinoids of 20.5%

This level of cannabinoids is very high, as you can see

Sample number 4 is 7.8% THC

and 11.9% CBD

In total, the sum of cannabinoids is 19.7%

You can see that these results are very good

These varieties will have a very lucid effect

and a quite authentic cannabinoid content

If you want to learn more about these strains and others

such as some new strains that we have released with high contents of minority cannabinoids

such as THCV and CBDV

you can visit our website

Thank you for everything. Everything is very well cultivated, really

And so, we've come to the end of Final Grow

Our goal was to show you that it is not that hard

to discover to the world of self-cultivation,

to be self-sufficient for recreational or medicinal purposes

We would like to thank all of the brands that have collaborated with us

And thank you for following along with us

Grow happy and flourish

Bye!

is absolutely amazing and my god I like man I don't know if it was just me but

I felt more of a connection to Jessie J's performance when she started singing

in Chinese I don't know what it is but for some reason I feel more connected

and more emotion when someone sings in another language like I don't know the

sound just feels different and it feels more impacting in a way I'm I don't know

that's probably just me but I just felt that at the very end like that to me it

was the most emotional part of the song in my opinion and yeah guys Jessie J has

great stage presence and sadly my sound cut out like throughout this performance

what is going on everybody my name is Billy and it is time for a new video in

today's video I'm going to be watching a performance by Jessie J this one was

requested to me song that Jessie J is gonna be singing today is called Purple

Rain and it is from the hit TV show singer I have not heard this song before so

yeah I don't know what to expect for this song that someone told me that this

is going to be emotional song so yeah am I ready I I really don't know me I

really do like Jessie J I've heard a lot of her music over time and I think she's

really talented and like she just has that voice that that I can just stick to

cuz it's really good in my opinion anyway I I just enjoyed this today's

music so yeah I'm really looking forward to hearing this performance I don't know

what to expect but I'm not gonna know by talking so yeah guys the original it

will be able scription below and let's just get into this all right people

let's get into this in three two one parlez okay here we go

Oh

her voice yes

I never meant to cause you any pain

I only wanted one time to see you laughing

Wow only wanted to see

my gosh you can feel the emotion

oh yes

yes oh sing it

I only wanted to be

ow these lyrics

such a shame our friendship had to end

oh my gosh the emotion you can tell she's putting a heart into it I feel it

oh yes

all sounds the music such focus

Oh

oh yes yes yes

sing it Oh my goodness

I'm done I needed this

Oh

my god ow get into it ah yes Jessie J I'm sorry people I'm just taking

what is she doing ok

why not oh she's into the music oh it's great oh

she feels the love I feel it it is wonderful like I love the vibe I really do

my sound is failing

wow

hey it's Hua Chenyu hello

I fell it

oh good her vocals ah damn Wow oh she got everyone emotional I felt it

but it didn't make me cry oh my goodness that was beautiful people oh it's still

going

Wow she sang that last part oh my gosh

in um what language is this but yeah she could see in another language that's

amazing that was a emotional performance I did feel it good lord

this was amazing uh I mean really I really enjoyed this like the music the

sounds like there's no question that Jessie J is very talented she has that

very powerful emotion to a voice that I really like I can tell that she put

everything into this performance like she gave it all she had like in vocals

and strength and power and it was just amazing and beautiful to see I really

liked listening to this song it was such a wonderful song man I haven't heard

from Jessie J in like a long time I'm guessing that Jessie J has been under

the radar lately because I haven't seen any new music by her so I'm not sure I'm

guessing these days she's just laying low and I'm just focusing on other

things in life like either mentoring or like helping others reach their goals

I'm only guessing but I love this performance it was just golden goldenness

I mean really I want to hear it again it was so good I can tell that

Jessie J really enjoyed doing this performance like she really got into it

like what I loved the part where she got on her air guitar and just started

rocking it like that was really great I I fell in love with that especially at

the end I thought it was really great how she sung it in another language I

think it is Chinese I'm not quite sure I'm sorry if I got it wrong not quite

sure what the language is but the fact that she can sing in another language

is absolutely amazing and my god I like man I don't know if it was just me but

I felt more of a connection to Jessie J's performance when she started singing

in Chinese I don't know what it is but for some reason I feel more connected

and more emotion when someone sings in another language like I don't know the

sound just feels different and it feels more impacting in a way I'm I don't know

that's probably just me but I just felt that at the very end like that to me it

was the most emotional part of the song in my opinion and yeah guys Jessie J has

great stage presence and sadly my sound cut out like throughout this performance

like it keeps cutting in and out and it really sucks it's not my headphones that

do that it's my computer itself my computer just doesn't work very well a

lot of this sound things just don't want to work and it really bothers me because

I can't hear the full thing like it's started quietly and off its annoying

yeah anyway guys feel free to let me know what you guys thought of this video

I thought it was really great like my goodness I love hearing performances

like this like I love the emotion and I just love the sound in general Jessie J

has such great control over her voice you can tell that she put her heart to

this performance and for that I love Jessie J even more so yeah guys I think

I'm gonna leave it yeah the full performance will be in the link in the

description below if you want to check it out thanks for requesting this video

to me I really appreciate it that's basically all for me feel free to leave

a like if you enjoyed it and I do thank you all for watching my name is Billy
