Kath: Me first! Are you happy with the amount of time we spend together?

DJ: ah yes

Every day

Kath: It's like you're not happy

DJ: No I'm happy.

Kath: You're not happy.

DJ: If we become... If we become husband and wife, who's the boss? Me or you?

Kath: That's the question?

DJ: This is the question! Me or you?

Kath: Me!

Kath: Is that it [the question]?

DJ: No

DJ: What are you going to call me?

Kath: When?

Kath: When we're married?

DJ: When we're married.

Honey or mahal (love)?

Kath: Really?

Kath: Mahal!

Kath: [sings] Manila, my love

DJ: Honey? Honey...

Mahal.

Kath: Irog [ancient endearment] for love

I'll go with mahal. DJ: mahal.

Kath: Okay, how did I make you happy today or this week?

DJ: Oh we just came from Batangas... we were both happy.

Kath: So fun!

DJ: My turn.

How much do you love me?

Kath: That's so weird tangi

DJ: Go on, answer it.

Kath: Ah... super love.

DJ: Okay, me next. Me again

DJ: When did you realize that -- Kath: I love you more than you love me

DJ: When did you -- Kath: I love you more than you love me

DJ: When did you realize that you love me?

Kath: I'll just do this! These questions are embarrassing.

I'll just ask him questions and he'll answer.

Kath: What's that one thing I have never done for you that you wish I would?

DJ: Fight for me *acts all emo*

Kath: Tangi you're so weird!

DJ: Next question.

Kath: I fought for you!

DJ: Uhh next question.

Kath: You're gonna cry.

DJ: Cry, really? Cries because of the question.

Kath: What's you're biggest dream?

DJ: Biggest dream?

Kath: Director.

Biggest dream...

To be a... to be super chill. Rich old man.

DJ: Uh, what I want when I'm old... my dream is Kath: steady

DJ:I get to do all the things that I want to do

DJ: do all things I want to do

Kath: He just wants to be chill.

DJ: No, just a relaxing life. Kath: [Where] He's already steady, no longer has to work.

DJ: Not necessarily! I'm still going to work but my job will not be like how it is now. Kath: Just chill.. at home,

You're in control of your own schedule. That's his dream

In a nice, in his dream house.

DJ: But there's still quality. I mean, whatever it is I will be doing I want it to be of good quality

But at the same time I'm still very relaxed. Like there's no... no panic mode. Everything is just already set.

Kath: Okay, next!

What do I do that makes you feel most loved?

DJ: Uhhhm... when you uhh

Kath: Don't answer it.

Don't answer it

DJ: Why?

Kath: No I'm shy.

DJ: You're feeling shy?

Kath: Yeah

Kath: What's one thing have... you have never told me?

DJ: Suddenly get's serious

DJ: Um next question tangi.

Kath: You're cheating on me!

You're cheating.

DJ: Hey!

Kath: I'm joking. DJ: You're too far now

DJ: What are you talking about. Kath: Answer it!

What's the one thing you have never told me?

Kath: What?

DJ: Aren't these questions for people who are barely in the courting stage? Right?

Kath: What's the -- DJ: If I was courting you I'd be so excited to answer these questions

I'm getting shy now to answer you now Bal.

Break up with me first then I'll court you.

Kath: Did you guys get anything [useful]

Kath: We're good now DJ: No, okay ummm...

DJ: What is it honey?

Kath: It's okay, say bye! Thank you guys!

CHez Nikita: A tour of Nikita Scherbak's house (Habs Cribs) - Duration: 5:07.

Hi Habs fans, I'm Nikita Scherbak, this is my girlfriend Laurie, and welcome to our place.

Bienvenue CHez nous.

Here, pretty simple too: washroom.

Pretty small one. We have a shower, and, everything.

I think pretty cute the window, over here, with the wood and stuff.

It's falling apart though, but I think it's gonna be okay.

It's basically like a loft place, so...

Like you guys see: bed, little teddy that Laurie has.

Valentine's Day.

I don't know I just decided to give her a little nice present, I thought she would've loved it, so...

I think it's worked out pretty good, and he chills there when I'm on a road trip

Gives for sure a little company to Laurie.

Here it's a couch. Usually it's a game couch, because I like to play a lot of videogames.

Especially Fortnite, right now.

We try to play online with the guys, and sometimes, you know, we play.

Sometimes I play by myself. Sometimes she plays.

She's actually pretty good.

Yeah, I do.

[Is she better than you?]

I'll be honest. Sometimes, yes.

Here, the fire thing.

[Can you show us how it works?]

I actually don't know.

I actually, you know, I've been trying to work it out.

And then it just doesn't work.

Here... here we usually have supper-dinner, when Laurie cooks amazing meals.

You know, she has cookies.

She makes cookies, but I'm trying to take care of my diet, but...

It's kind of hard when I see those cookies.

Fridge, I think, pretty simple.

Cake.

Cake, yeah, I just bought it.

Some salami, some pickles, and stuff like that. Not much.

Okay, so we have breakfast and lunch at the rink, so it's pretty easy to have a diet,

and then just the supper time, more like...

Sometimes we like to go out and eat, to have a nice dinner, together.

To have a, like a, nice... Like a romantic atmosphere.

We had a French... French dinner in here.

Tell them. Come on.

[What did you make?]

It was raclette, but he doesn't know what that is, in Russia.

So he calls it French dinner.

[Since you're from here, has he learned any kind of, like, Quebec culture things from you?]

Yeah. He had maple taffy.

Love it!

It was so funny though, because instead of like, just licking it, he just, like... yeah.

and started chewing it.

And then...

Here we have some snacks.

Nesquik. Definitely Nesquik. You have to have Nesquik at your place.

You cannot go wrong with Nesquik. Definitely you cannot go wrong with Nesquik.

That's for sure.

And, I think that's my favorite cereal. Forever.

They have like a duo though, in Russia.

It's like a white, mixed with a chocolate.

It's... it's "c'est bon". It's really "c'est bon".

It's really "c'est bon".

He often comes with flowers.

I think it's a nice way to treat a, you know, human that I like,

and I have feelings for, so I like to...

I like to pick flowers, and I think she's enjoying them when she sees it.

So it makes me happy too.

We have that coconut actually, too.

I have to mention, because I don't know, I've never had a coconut, so we just bought it, and...

Well, I never opened one so...

I hoped that Laurie was going to do it, but...

I can't.

You can?!

I can't.

Yeah, I mean, you know, so I...

[Do you know how to open a coconut?]

I actually... don't... know.

So like, it's been there for two months,

So like, you guys, you know, if anyone knows how to open a coconut, please...

Send me messages, or email. You know, I'm open for you guys, so... let me know.

Coffee machine. I mean, I'm really like... I'm really enjoying it.

I have some coffees and some teas. I used to drink only teas.

I... never drink coffee until I came over to Canada, and I found out what Tim Hortons is.

And I just started coming to Tim Hortons every time. I'm so Canadian now!

Thanks guys for coming out, and checking our place in Laval.

And...

I think we gotta go, get some work on our coconut.

you

Can You Keep Donating and Regrowing Your Liver? - Duration: 3:12.

Here at SciShow, we recently learned a fun fact: you can donate over half your liver

to someone who needs a transplant, and the tissue will grow back within a year.

So then we got super curious: could you just keep cutting chunks off, donating them, and

regrowing your liver, kind of like donating blood, except it's an organ?

Turns out, the answer is no.

Which is kind of a bummer, because that would've been cool.

But the reason why is really interesting — it's because of how the liver cells get replaced.

Liver regrowth in humans is pretty amazing.

In a study of 27 living liver donors, it only took about a month after donation for their

liver function to return to normal, and less than a year for their liver to regrow its

normal mass.

And you could probably regrow your liver more than once.

In one study, a very unlucky rat had part of its liver removed again and again, and

supposedly it grew back 12 times!

That being said, rodent livers have a different structure than ours — so it might not work

exactly the same in us.

But even if it's possible to donate part of your liver more than once, transplant doctors

probably wouldn't recommend it.

First of all, even though it's pretty safe if you're under age 60 and healthy, it's

a major surgery.

And the bigger problem is: the regrown liver chunk likely wouldn't do any good.

Because the liver regrows, but it technically doesn't regenerate.

True regeneration occurs in some animals, like salamanders.

If a salamander loses a leg, cells near the cut dedifferentiate.

In other words, they revert to an earlier developmental state.

They basically become the cells in an embryo that have no specific job, but they have the

potential to turn into tons of cell types — from bone to skin to muscle — depending

on what molecular signals they get.

Then they multiply, divide up into groups, and respecialize into all the cells that make

up a leg.

It's essentially a redo of what happens as the salamander embryo develops, so the

leg structure is the same, and scientists consider it regeneration.

Good as new!

But this isn't what happens when part of your liver gets cut off.

Instead of all this dedifferentiation, what mostly happens is a variety of mature liver

cells just multiply to make up for the loss.

The regrown tissue has some structure, but it doesn't replicate the exact layout of

a fresh liver, from cell organization to the arrangement of blood vessels.

So even though the regrown liver is fully functional, it's not true regeneration.

Technically, what your liver does is called compensatory hyperplasia.

This different structure would make it harder for transplant surgeons to safely remove a

portion of a repeat-donor's liver.

It'd also be harder to connect that regrown chunk to the transplant recipient's blood

vessels, so they could actually use it.

So even though a liver donation can save someone's life, doing it more than once isn't a good

idea for you or the person who needs the help.

Thanks for watching this episode of SciShow!

If you want to learn more about how weird the human body is, you can check out the video

that inspired this question, which is all about organs you could live without.

The Legend Who Finished in Last Place | Strangest Moments - Duration: 4:31.

Heading into the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City,

Russia was looking to extend its astonishing record

in figure skating pairs.

Since 1964, they had been nothing short of dominant.

Ludmila Belousova and Oleg Protopopov

set the precedent in Innsbruck

and 38 years later, the latest Russian pair was in the hunt

for the country's 11th consecutive

gold medal in the event.

From the Soviet Union to the Unified Team

to its current status as Russia,

the powerhouse had maintained its firm grip on skating pairs.

Going into the Salt Lake City Games in 2002,

it looked like Russia's spell might finally be broken.

Canada's Jamie Salé and David Pelletier

appeared to be the pair to beat.

They'd won the World Championships in 2001,

and their success was recognised,

as they were named as Canadian athletes of the year.

Russia's Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze

appeared to be the biggest threat to the Canadians.

They had a silver medal from the Nagano Games

and had won World Championship titles in 1998 and 1999.

Following the first two programmes,

they had a slight lead over the Canadians.

Salé and Pelletier had fallen during the closing pose

of their short programme...

..and they needed to score

at least five 5.9s in presentations

on their free skate to win gold.

The Russians took to the ice first.

It was a beautiful performance,

until Anton did this...

Despite this, their scores were high enough

to maintain first place in the standings.

Next up was the Canadian duo...

Let's welcome, now, Jamie Salé and David Pelletier,

who chose a simpler routine.

They executed it flawlessly.

They finished their performance to a roar from the crowd.

It seemed the gold medal was in the bag.

When the scores appeared, there was disbelief.

The Canadian pair's impeccable performance

was only enough for the silver.

Salé was distraught.

The crowd echoed her feelings.

Five first place votes had gone to Russia.

There were just four for Canada.

At the medal ceremony,

Salé couldn't hide her disappointment.

There was utter disbelief in Salt Lake City that night.

Something didn't seem right.

Back at the hotel that evening,

the French judge, Marie-Reine Le Gougne, was emotional.

She spotted British official Sally-Anne Stapleford

in the lobby and ran to her.

Right then and there,

Le Gougne revealed the startling truth.

The pressure had become too much for her.

In front of witnesses, the French judge admitted

"I was wrong, I was wrong. The Canadians were better,"

and confessed she was pressured by the French Federation

and Didier Gailhaguet to vote for the Russian pair

in exchange for Russian voting for the French pair

in ice dance.

With this new revelation, Stapleford wrote a letter

to ISU president Ottavio Cinquanta

explaining what she'd just been told.

The wheels were in motion.

An investigation confirmed the voting scandal.

IOC President Jacques Rogge announced to the world

that there would be a joint gold medal

for the Olympic ice skating pairs.

On Sunday the 17th,

less than a week after the contest,

a second medal ceremony was held -

this time with both the Russians and Canadians

on the top podium.

The scandal prompted a reform in the scoring system.

The old 6.0 system was thrown out the window,

and a new one was brought in.

Judges' scores would become anonymous

and only a subset would be used in the final judging process,

meaning that a computer would randomly select scores

from a certain number of judges.

Marie-Reine Le Gougne's confessions

had changed the face of ice skating forever.

Mail art Cactos / Cactus - Watercolor/ Aquarela #5 - Duration: 16:24.

Hello people, here is Cris, from Watercolor Factory channel

Wellcome to my channel!

Today I'm going to teach you how to make a mail art with a cactus.

The cactus was a sugestion from my friend Ana Kalline.

I don't know Kal, if I used the colors the way you sugested me.

For those who haven't seen the other video, with Kal's comment

I used my Topicals pallet, from Prima Marketing, this color here, which is the green that

I thought weird on the other video, but in fact it is a very nice yellow

And this is the color I used to make the yellow of the cactus.

I liked it very much, I hope you like it too

So take your brushes and watercolors, and let's go!

All the materials I used will be on the description

Before everything, I cut my paper the size of the envelope and fixed it on mu base with tape

to make the painting easier

Then, I'll draw the cactus

If you do not want to draw it, I'll put on the description a link where you can download

the drawing for you to use as you like

So, I'll accelerate que video so you see the process of the cactus drawing

For those who want to draw

I did it on the mail art format

leaving a space below on the right

so I can write the adress of my penpal

Here I'm erasing the lines that came out too strong

It's good to leave them light because they can appear on the final result

and this is not desirable

An unusual object that I use to mix my watercolors is the ice mold

Yes!

It's very practical when you need to mix a variety of colors with much or few pigmentation

because there is a lot of space

On this case I'm preparing a yellow watercolor to make a gradient background to

my cactus.

Now I'll put an object below my base, on the top part, to by base

has a tilt

This technique is very usefull to make full or gradient background

I'll use a bug brush for practicality

Beginning from the top I'll paint on the horizontal, and as my base has a tilt, the watercolor

goes naturally to the bottom

I just need to pull it from one side to another, pulling also down

I also accelerated the video on this part ok, the painting process is slower than that

To make the gradient, the tip is to wet the brush with water, during the process, like that

the watercolor will be less pigmented while it goes down the paper

I waited untill my paper dries

I'll use the Pigma Micron number 08 to trace my drawing

I could have done it before painting, because this pen

is waterproof which makes it ideal to be used before

the watercolor

Now that I finished tracing my drawing,

I'll use a white wax crayon

to do some white dots on my cactus

You'll see how nice it will become when we paint

On the place of the white wax crayon, you can also use a candle

Great, now that Ifinished, I'll start my painting

I'm using light green, starting from the left

to the right and painting one side of the area chosen

After I clean my brush and use water to soften the edges and give a gradient effect

If you have doubts when how to do it, don't forget to whatch my bunny

easter video, where I teach step by step

I'm going to make this in all parts of my cactus

If you have water in excess

you can take it off on a paper towel, on the side

And use the dry brush to pull the excess of water from the paper

The gradient technique can be better seen now,

as I paint the vase

See that I used very pigmented watercolor on the sides,

and after, with the wet brush

with clean water I pulled the ink to

the inside, where I tried to make an

light and shadow effect.

Well the ink of my cactus is dry, I can go on.

Now I'll use the yeallow I mentioned

in the beginning of the video, always with the same technique

This time I'm painting in yellow

the parts I haven't painted in green before,

and making the gradient goind to the green part

Now I'll use a little brush

and a darker blue

When I do teh gradient over the green

It becomes a greenish blue

and see that

we can already see the white dots

I don't know if you can see on the video,

I hope so, that the overlay of

the blue on the yellow have created a very nice green!

On this part I decided to let on the normal speed for you to see.

But If you want to speed the video you can do it on the youtube video configurations

See that the technique is always the same, color over color with gradient, more or less dark

The lightest part is always made pulling ht color that is already on the paper, with the wet brush

Here equally, same technique

With the little brush

With the same blue color

that I used on the other parts

And I'll do the same thing

In all the other parts of the cactus.

Here I'm using a little more blue

Because I want it a little darker, but it is the same thing

Cleaning the excess of watercolor

You saw that I cleaned the brush and after I pulled of the excess of watercolor from the paper

So, people, excuse me

You haven't seen this two parts

my camera suddenly stopped recording

but what I did was the

same thing on the other parts ok?

I'll continue from where I was

Now I'll just reinforce

and put a little bit more depth, a little

more blue between the branches of the cactus.

Now I'll use another blue

to give a darker tone on the edges.

Now I'll paint the soil on the vase

I exagerated a little on the water here, but It's ok

I could have left like that, but I decided to equal the sides

Withe the painting ready, I'll put the final details before glueing on the envelope

I'll make a black dot below every white dot, they are the thorns of the cactus.

And some on the sides too

Look how cool it turned out

Now I'll glue it on the envelope

I make this envelope from a paper bag,

Following the video from Ana Kalline that I'll

put on the description and on the card

This ugly side made of craft paper is where I'll glue my drawing

The idea is really recicle materials that would go to the trash

This paper is really

ugly, but for decoration

I used a green paper on the back

leaving about one centimeter bigger

so I can do the finishing

I'll put glue on the envelope

I'll put my drawing

And now I'll put glue

On the paper edges that I left

outside of the envelope,

To use on my decoration

This is a simple paper ok guys

colored A4 paper

I had this idea

of using some paper I had here at home

but you can als use washi tape

or whatever other decoration you'd like

Look, I became like a frame

I liked it.

Here I can decorate if I want

But maybe I'll leave it that way

So that's it folks, I hope you liked it

Naama - Strange Love - Duration: 4:15.

This is "Strange Love."

For every hopeless thought

Every late-night, heartbreak talk

There was always a smile in your eyes

But I saw galaxies in yours and

you never saw a star in mine

See, we don't like change

so we try to stay sane

when nothing is the same and it gets in our ways

Gotta give everything every day or

the other won't stay

So confused, I never really know

if I should walk away, never good at letting go

Hurts so bad but I want to keep you close

I can't go, can't let go

Of our strange love

We always said this would last forever

All our shared secrets and tears we shed together

But where you see your safe place

All I see is a fire running out of flame

See, we never really fought

So I guess we both thought

If we just smile and nod

and keep the mask on

We'll last longer, but nothing would ever get solved

Just so confused, I never really know

If I should walk away, never good at letting go

Hurts so bad but I want to keep you close

I can't go, can't let go

Of our strange love

Can't let go of our strange love

Your secrets pour out to somebody else now

But who am I to say they can't

You've been a part of me for so many years now

But it shouldn't affect who I am

Every time you told me you loved me

Every time I made myself reply

There was never any meaning in our voices

Problem is, we never quite understood why

I don't know how long we can stay strong

Been together too long

Look what it's done

We've both gone wrong

For both of us, I gotta move on

Just so confused, I never really know

if I should walk away, never good at letting go

Hurts so bad but I want to keep you close

I can't go, can't let go

Of every bit of pain we went through together

Everything we have to remember

All the times we said we'd never let go

Of our strange love

Our strange love
