New Create a Class System - Changes to Divisions - Huge CoD WW2 Update - Duration: 11:06.

Hello everybody, in today's video I'll be focusing on all the changes to the

divisions and what you should be using after the update and give you a layout

of the video I'm going to focus to the first part of the video on breaking down

the different changes to the divisions I'm gonna do that rather quickly so it

doesn't take a ton of time I'm gonna talk about the changes to the create a

class system so that you can be better prepared on how you're gonna adjust your

load outs and then so you can have your best class setups day one so the first

we're gonna look at is infantry and on the screen you can see all the different

changes I'm gonna focus on the new things so we're gonna additional primary

attachment that's gonna swap from perk number to second pistol attachment swap

weapons faster that's from resistance level 3 while aiming down sights have

less idle sway that's from a basic training called scope and then move

faster while aiming so this one might be nerfed because you can see the red lines

crossed out right there for significantly faster we'll just have to

see how that plays out so some might might need a test after the update so

the new creative class is gonna look something like this

and what you're gonna see is that extra green box will be there cuz you're gonna

have four attachments automatically with infantry we're gonna get rid of that

little bayonet so that's not gonna be there by default anymore it's going to

be an attachment so in when you're reading the it feels like they gave us

primed automatically but in reality they didn't they just removed the attachment

automatically so we can attach it if we want if you don't want to run that

bayonet you're gonna essentially have an extra attachment since the infantry

level 2 gives you that extra attachment for your pistol you're gonna go ahead

and see this extra box highlighted in green in the middle as well right at the

bottom next to lethal box you're gonna have a tactical because part of the

update is everyone's gonna have a lethal and a tactical default for every class

so we'll go ahead and kind of see how that plays out but this is the update

for infantry so far based off that you're not gonna have a significant

change and you create a class for that one it's just infantry might not be as

dominant because you don't have that extra ammo and then we'll have to see

how far that nerf goes on that significantly faster strafing part

versus just strafing faster because a huge draw of infantry was you have the

real extra attachment with the bayonet already included and then you already

had the advanced strafing and then extra ammo so you can

actually go on these extra long streets now picking up other people's guns but

pretty much the class setups are still gonna be the same for this specific

class it's for now you could probably put in some

submachine guns because you can actually run suppressor with them now so we'll go

ahead and kind of see how that plays out I'm gonna give you some better class

setups with the submachine guns once the update goes live or airborne they made

the SMG suppressor a in an attachment you can see that there and they also

eliminated the sprint for longer distances because now everybody will

have unlimited sprint on that slightly slower than our normal sprint that were

used to just to accelerate the pace of the game a little bit you can see

they've made some other changes as far as firing gun while sprinting and diving

that's a basic training as far as reloading while sprinting another basic

training that they merge with this and then you have time over objects faster

and no fall damage so they added that last part of up no fall damage which was

from a basic training I believe and then we also have sprint faster over time so

basically they just modified that so the longer you're sprinting you will

accelerate we'll have to see if there's a cap on how fast you go and right here

you can see they made similar changes to the actual create a class system you're

gonna have that extra attachment slot because now the suppressor is optional

it's not guaranteed mandatory so you can actually swap out other guns as well so

if you wanted to run an AR with the bayonet you have that option right here

you don't get that extra pistol attachment because it's not included

with this one and then right at the bottom you are gonna have that extra

tactical so you will have some flexibility with that but as far as the

creative class system this is gonna be a significant difference just because you

have that unlimited sprint and you're gonna be able to move faster not worry

about fall damage so you can jump out of buildings and move real quick

and we'll see how effective this one is but let's get into the the more

interesting changes and that's to these next couple divisions

so overall the Armored Division is probably one of the main divisions that

got a huge buff all the way around see the LMG bipod is now default on any LMG

which will free up a create-a-class slot as far as immune to shell-shocked and

tactical equipment that's still the slot number two but you can see for slot

number one they combined armored three and four so you're gonna take

significantly less explosive and fire damage so that's a huge buff there that

bind it into one number three you're gonna see they added FMJ so you're gonna

have increased bullet penetration which is going to be

some just intuitively you're not gonna have to waste an attachment on that so

that's another buff and then it says greatly reduced flinch wind shot so that

kind of stole half of the prime basic training which they remove from the game

so they were moving that completely from the game and you're gonna have that

reduced flinch so this is gonna help you a lot in gunfights so this will probably

be a top tier division depending on how you can synergize the different weapons

pretty sure this one's gonna be a heavy favorite so we'll just have to wait and

see so let's get on to the mountain division well before we do that if you

are enjoying the video in any way remember to click the like button it

does help the video go ahead and leave a comment down below what your favorite

change is then go ahead and subscribe with notifications on if you haven't

already I do a lot of these breakdowns on the channel this is type of content

you're interested in learning more about creative class setups tips and tricks on

how to improve this is channel for you so again let's get into mountain and

looking at this one this one might be one of the most overpowered classes

there is because all I got was buffs so now sniper sharpshooter default for

every sniper rifle so regardless of what division is that with gonna be able to

hold your breath which is nice that's like every other college before now perk

number one is going to be invisible to enemy recon and can cold streak they'd

combine two or three so that's two perks right there

nope enemy death locations hidden those like that extra perk that you got from

those two or something like that goes pro in a previous Call of Duty no name

or radical change when your enemies aim at you another huge perk they're still

silent movement for number four so this one is gonna synergize really well with

those SMGs that don't need a bunch of attachments because you can actually

have the suppressor like for the type 1 100 you're gonna have that extended mags

and maybe rapid fire and suppressor so this is you're gonna be completely

silent on the map you'll be able to hear everything around you sound whore and

you're gonna be able to kill people they will know where you're killing people

from no reticle change so in hardcore it's gonna be almost overpowered because

it's not gonna be pop-up so you're not gonna have the instinct if it's teammate

friend or foe this one is gonna be real fun to use probably very hard to compete

against it'd be fun now looking at expeditionary we can see that a lots

changed now that you actually have those incendiary shells

free up a spot now it's it's default that you're able to equip to any shotgun

as an attachment the same way we've done suppressor and rifle bayonet so right

here it's a little select piece of equipment and lethal attack this one

buffed and they basically combined number two and three as you can see now

is number one so double lethal and tactical and enhance equipment use and

that looks like the throw further faster while sprinting so that's going to be

pip use the munitions Prentiss worm killed enemies and over time this was a

huge buff to number four because before it was through killed enemies now you

can kind of camp and then they'll just replenish on their own and then it keeps

original values for this improved tactical ears ear to destroy buildable

so what I mean by keeps original values what happens is they're nerfing

tacticals forward to reduce their time and effectiveness so this one is a bit

to improve its gonna keep that original value that we currently have now destroy

war buildable so that's gonna be planting things on it's gonna take a

little bit less time so before it was let's say six seconds now it'll be five

I don't know the exact value because it wasn't stated we'll have to see this one

equipment damage paints enemies on the mini-map that's one basic training

espionage so that was damage in general but this is specific equipment damage so

if you put a bouncing betty now that would be lit up like a Christmas tree on

your mini-map so this was gonna be I think the opposite of fun I think it's

gonna be very annoying to deal with but we'll just have to see how it plays out

when it comes to resistance it's had a few changes as well so right here you

can see the pistol tactical knife has been completely removed so what you're

gonna see that is the pistols will now have that attachment most likely now

which that might be able to synergize well with the mountain division's since

you'll be off the map off the radar hidden you'll be able to even sound more

everybody and you can see they move that infantry division from

this one to the infantry so now we can see that they combined number two and

four for a number the new number one some mini-map indicator and scrambler of

close hostiles and then they added a couple new features so enemy movement

are easier here we'll see how different audibly that is kills an assist grant

Intel ping of nearby enemies on they had something very simple or a similar in a

infinite warfare so we'll kind of see how that ping works and how affected

that is and easier to spot targets and increase mini-map coverage that sounds a

lot like a basic training that we're all familiar with hopefully and that's the

lookout so that's some of the changes to this division so let me go ahead and

kind of break down some of the different things that you guys should be looking

for when creating these new classes so the number one thing you're gonna want

to realize is whatever classes you have been using as far as weapon loadout that

means when you select the weapon and then just select the attachments

everything will probably be pretty similar so some of the changes that

might happen is for example if you're gonna be using armored now that you have

that bullet penetration through surfaces maybe you don't run FMJ if you're

already running FMJ in my opinion FMJ was always a wasted attachment so this

one that you get it by default might be nice but in general it might just be a

waste of perk for armored so we'll just have to kind of see how it plays out

sure in certain maps will be more effective than others along with some of

these tweaks to the divisions there's been a lot of other underlying tweaks

that they've added to the game so for example even though the there's been a

buff to the armored division where you take less damage they change the

reduction from 65 reduction up to 80 reduction so in this particular case if

they're nerfing some of the lethal you're gonna get a combined net droppage

of probably about 85% that means you might be able to take two nades before

you die but you'll still be 1-shot take two nate's so there are different things

we got to check out that makes certain classes better than others but if you've

been using the SDG with the extended mags rifle barrel or advanced rifling

rather and an high-caliber that's still gonna be your go to class except for now

you might have to debate putting the bayonet on and put some other attachment

if you don't use the bayonet often same thing with smg's now you'll have a

slut if you don't want to run suppressor you can actually have an

extra attachment so it just gave you some more flexibility to create a class

system it's not overhauling anything I mean I know there's a lot of changes

with the divisions but as far as the weapons and attachment it's gonna be

very very similar to what you've already been doing this entire time if you have

stuck around to the end of the video I really appreciate that good it makes you

Huawei P20 & P20 Pro Smartphone Product Demonstration - 3 Things Video #AndrewTollinton - Duration: 8:11.

Hello and welcome to three things where I get to tell you three things that I

love about something and three things that I think could be done

significantly better in this particular case we have a Richard Yu from Huawei

launching his P20 and P20 Pro this - is their flagship it's the equivalent of

an iPhone launch this part demonstration took place only last week in Paris and

I've found three things that could be improved upon and three things that are

great about the products demonstration.

Note firstly, I do not criticise or pick up on the fact that Richard's English is

not great that's not important because his first

language is not English it is excusable had his first language

beenEnglish and his communication not very good that would be an issue but as

it is in this particular product demonstration as we will see the words

that he says are often repeated in short form on the slides which means that

anyone cannot properly hear Richard they can read what he is talking about

So what are the three things that I love and a three things that could have been

done better in this presentation? Number one these statements by Richard which is

made 'this is the best smartphone camera ever' Huawei P20 is the best smartphone

camera ever -whewn someone says this is the best smartphone camera ever

that's aspirational and that's something that we can talk about to other people

Hey look at this the P20 or the P20 Pro- this is the best

smartphone camera ever - that works. It's unfortunate though that that

particular statement comes in at minute 14 - it took him 14 minutes to get to that

point I would love that statement to have

been made in the first minute. Second thing I like about this particular

product launch demonstration is that Richard takes a photograph and then he

says to the audience I took this photograph last night you know I

took this photo last night and I was astonished - why was I astonished?

My eyes I cannot see this red flower - it's purely black but I take a photo

oh my god is that a flower is there I, I forgot that - your phone can see more than

your eyes can see that would suggest that we no longer need these

night-vision goggles all we need is the P20 or P20 Pro

and we can see in the dark. The third thing and the

that I love by far the most in this particular product demonstration is the

use of my favourites vegetable carrots I have loads of carrots every single

day up to half a kilogram but that's not why particularly I love the use of

carrots in this video - why do I like it so much it's because he's demonstrating

how carrots can be seen in very low light typically carrots are known to

help us see in the dark well now the P20 and P20 Pro can help us

see carrots in the dark! You know that's the you know actual low light condition

even your eyes cannot see this carrot the other phone you can see that no flash

we can take in the photo you can see all the details. This is clever it's a nice

novel way of presenting information this is the high point of the product

demonstration for me. The three things that Richard could have seriously done

better. Number one this one is pretty obvious why on earth would you wear

black if your background is black all it does is it means that all we the

audience really see is your skin and in this particular case if we black out the

skin Richard pretty much disappears wearing

black on black is not a good idea I'm pretty sure Richard knew what the

backdrop would have been before he went up there to present so whoever his

stylist is should be removed that person should get the tin tack gets the sack if

Richard is looking for a new stylist then I can recommend Sofia Wu who

happens to be a friend of mine and would certainly have not said to him to wear

the same color clothes as his backdrop Number two Richard suggests that you can

see me from the audience if you take a photograph of me you can zoom in and get

a better picture of me. You know that's the P20 Pro the more

the most powerful zoom on smartphone it can help you to zoom in all the

detail you are using this phone you far away you can take the detail of me. Why on

earth did he not actually do that this is not an MVP the company has been

around for a number of years it's worth billions he surely could have had

someone in the audience with his phone take a photograph of him zoom in and

show that live up on stage Number three the third biggest problem with this

particular pitch and product demonstration and it is a big problem it

is the biggest problem by far and it is - at no point does Richard tell us why on

earth he actually has built out all these super duper features why is it

that now the camera when it's taking a video is more stable who does that help?

Why is it that we suddenly have photographs being taken in lower light?

What is all that about? The entire product demonstration tends to be a list of

features and then sometimes they show how its applied. Had Richard have said

one in five photographs or videos taken are deleted because when you're taking a

video often your hands are shaking so you get a juddery photograph or video

but we've solved that problem with this fantastic new stabilization technique

and artificial intelligence - that would have made some sense that would have

formed a problem and a solution which the audience can go away and tell others

about. In conclusion I would give this product demonstration something like 5

to 6 out of 10. The slides are simple and slick, it's clean there are no great

stumbles. As I said the communication of the particular individual in this case

was not particularly great but that doesn't matter because his first

language was not English. There were lots of areas for improvement

Richard could have quite easily had a lot less slides he has about twice as

many slides as someone like Steve Jobs uses and if you had less slides he could

have actually engaged the audience more and spoken to them more about what he

was doing and why there's a problem and then talk about the solution. In this

particular case it really is a matter of slide, point, slide, point, slide, point,

which is a bit hypnotic hypnotic and can be boring. Richard less slides more

narrative. It is recommended that you perform one random act of kindness every

day but sometimes it's difficult to think about what that could be -

it's okay all you need to do is subscribe and like this video and you're

sorted, simples.

What S. Korea must consider before discussing economic cooperation with N. Korea - Duration: 2:01.

Economic cooperation.

Not a topic for this inter-Korean summit, but likely the next step in improving relations.

Park Hee-jun turned to some experts for their views on what Seoul must consider,... if talks

on such topics does take place.

The main agenda for the inter-Korean summit is denuclearization and establishing a lasting

peace on the Korean Peninsula,... but when those matters are settled-- the next step

is the economy.

Experts on North Korea say that discussions on renewing economic cooperation between the

two Koreas are necessary-- as it's a key factor in inter-Korean relations.

While the tough set of international sanctions on North Korea remains in place,... economic

exchanges are limited to humanitarian aid, cultural exchanges, and healthcare.

But even for those businesses to go ahead successfully,... experts are emphasizing the

need to reduce the role of the government.

"The reopening of inter-Korean relations calls for a new form of South-North economic cooperation,...

which can be achieved through downsizing the central government's role and strengthening

the roles of private enterprises and local authorities.

It would lead to sustainable and healthy economic ties that don't waver according to the status

of bilateral relations."

South Korea will also have to prepare for a market change in North Korea.

"Relieving the nuclear tensions means that North Korea is on the path of becoming a normal

nation with reduced investment risks.

Even though South Korea wants exclusiveness,... it will have to compete with other countries

for North Korean resources, mainly underground resources.

Many players will be eyeing the market and the North will have more bargaining power."

Experts say that the 3 months after the inter-Korean summit will be critical in building economic

ties.

Along with continued talks,... establishing a joint organization will gradually lead to

the two nations' economic reunification.

What you Need to Change to Drive into Spring & Pass Your Road Test - Duration: 55:16.

[WHAT YOU NEED TO CHANG TO DRIVE INTO SPRING & PASS YOUR ROAD TEST...FIRST TIME]

Hi there smart drivers. Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you tonight about

spring driving and tips for spring driving. Yes. And one of the tips that I'm

going to give you is to do any maintenance on your vehicle that needs

to be done. I'll tell you a story about that. last week the my children and I

took a trip down to Washington State and to do a video with Jen who everything

worked out it was a great video and I got some great information for people

who are driving with disabilities and Jen was really great and some powerful

information that is going to help a lot of people and anyway going back to the

maintenance on the vehicle before we left to go down the exhaust had gone on

my vehicle and the previous day I had driven down to Kelowna to help a friend

purchase a vehicle so we drove down there and I was like oh I cannot listen

to that exhaust all the way down to Washington State so what we did was took

it into a mechanic here in Vernon and it was a recommendation for my previous

mechanic to do the exhaust work anyway we went in at like nine o'clock in the

morning and talked to the mechanic and he put it on the hoist told me what was

wrong with it I said listen while you're in there you might as well fix the

catalytic converter too which is the reason that the check engine light was

on on the vehicle and he said to me that you have it done by 11 o'clock I

confirmed that information with him the kids and I went and had had some

breakfast came back at 11 o'clock the vehicle was fixed and let me tell you

that the the Honda is like driving a brand new vehicle plus the check engine

light on the dash is now out it's amazing what a new exhaust will do on

your vehicle it's just really great so one of the things I'm going to talk to

you in terms of spring cleaning is definitely clean your vehicle and get

any maintenance done that you need to get done so Corey's here bricks for

wheels Cory is doing the moderating he's really awesome at that and is any videos

that I suggest or mentioned he'll get those up for you and of course we're

going to do on driver's licenses tonight any class

of license will help you with that Raquelle is here Edgar is here North

went Northwest Indiana elevators hello Tommy's here Anthony is here

Anthony you got your license a week ago that's tremendous where in the world did

you get your license and somebody's having winter I know they're having

winter in the East here and the spring is refusing to come it's been pretty

slow coming here in the interior of British Columbia as well so if you have

any questions about road tests or those types of things

by all means drop me a question I can answer any question to have a little

driving starting a driving career those types of things and yes the other the

other thing that we're doing is my friend Tim my really good friend Tim I

was down visiting him it was kind of a circular on the trip to Washington State

then we went up to Vancouver Island visit my friend Tim and a few other

friends on Vancouver Island and he mentioned to me that and that Veda video

every day in April so I've been trying to do that and doing pretty good

snow in Missouri is Easton is snow in Missouri is that unheard of or is that a

regular thing I don't think they get a lot of snow in Missouri do they anyway

so I lost my train of thought Tim yes Veda video every day in April so I've

been trying to do that get a video up every day trying to get it up in the

evening and I went down and shot another one today on hills and yeah that was a

bit of a challenge it's always interesting standing down at the

intersection of having traffic going by cuz sometimes you know most people are

interested in what you're doing other people honk and make noise and gear and

whatnot so Edgar driving on busy highways absolutely so driving on busy

highways you want to try and maintain your space as much as possible Edgar I

know that's difficult in terms of vehicles behind you in vehicles to the

sides but one of the places that you can always manage your space Edgar on

highways especially busy highways is in front and yes if you get too much space

people are going to cut in there and those types of things but what I suggest

is is that you know just let them go and have the

crash somewhere else and the other thing is is that if people do cut into that

space in front of you oftentimes they're going to be going

faster than you anyway so pretty quickly they're going to be gone off and you

know they're not going to be a problem anymore you just sort of adjust your

space again and whatnot so that's one of the things you can do and you know

manage your space in front of your vehicle signal early get into the lane

that you need to get into and whatnot if you need to exit off the roadway and

whatnot but you know the the most challenging thing in the best thing that

you can do is sort of manage your space try not to get aggravated by other

drivers because obviously there's a lot of drivers on a busy highway and those

types of things and if you don't know where you're going if it's you know if

it's new definitely do some work on Google Maps and definitely do some work

on GPS and those types of things because GPS on the fly you know when you're in

the car and you're trying to listen to it is not the bestest I just learned

here in Washington State that it can be a bit challenging so make sure you do a

bit of prep work before so the first leg of the trip to Washington State

I just really relied on the GPS on my phone and you know I had to turn around

quite a few times and those types of things and but the second leg of the

trip when I actually studied Google Maps before I went on the trip from where we

were in enumclaw up to Port Angeles it was actually a lot better because I'd

actually done some work and studied the map and those types of things so do that

as well if you don't know where you're going at a busy road okay April creative

studios I'm gonna take the road test in a month for the third time it seems

really hard to pass the exam do you have any advice for passing the exam yes

April all driving tests regardless of class regardless of where they are in

the world are all four components speed management space management observation

and communication you have to have those four fundamentals in place and if you

don't have those four fundamentals in place you are not going to pass a road

test speed management you have to do this the posted speed limit or the flow

of traffic whichever is less space management don't get near anything else

make sure that you stop at the correct positions on the roadways and those

types of things and one of the things I'm going to be talking about in spring

driving is says that can be a little bit more difficult because a lot of the

markings are worn out in those types of things because of plowing and whatnot in

the wintertime so that's a bit more challenging observation you have to scan

well ahead you have to do two shoulder checks for every turn anytime that you

move the vehicle laterally and you have to do 360-degree checks and shoulder

checks and look out the back window when you're reversing and then find the

communication you have to communicate whether the traffic

effectively via your lights your horn your signals appropriate hand gestures

of course don't tell people they're number one on a road test that will let

you be successful and then finally the position of your vehicle on the roadway

so all of those components have to be in place and if you haven't taken driving

lessons already or done a mock road test with a driving examiner I strongly

encourage you to do that - at least take one lesson and say hey I want to do a

mock road test to see if I'm ready and a driving examiner will be able to give

you some advice about you know the the areas that you need to strengthen in

order to be ready for a road test all right

so Corey got that video up thanks for that Nicholas I have a learner's per

American trouble staying centered on the road any tips yes Nicholas Corey will

find the video on how to stay centered in the lane essentially what you need to

do Nicholas is look farther down the road look for traffic lights follow

other traffic and all that will help you to stay centered in the road all right

so I'll continue to answer questions I'm going to do the presentation first I'll

[WHAT YOU NEED TO CHANGE TO DRIVE INTO SPRING & PASS YOUR ROAD TEST...FIRST TIME]

do the presentation and then I'll come back and I'll finish answering your

questions and whatnot and Missouri where did Missouri go yes east and set in

Missouri six to ten inches of snow that's pretty crazy for April in

Missouri and I suppose I suspect that that is posing some challenges for

drivers in that area who are trying to get up and down the road and go to work

in those types of things so there you go so just give me one sec here and I'm

going to transition over to the PowerPoint here

no sorry it's giving me grief here there we go click on the right one there there

we go ok and

all right so spring driving and talking about spring driving and obviously

you're gonna have to drive on in rain and those types of things because in

some places we get a lot of rain in the spring and whatnot and so you want to

maintain your vehicle you want to go through the inching department and check

the fluids you want to probably give it a wash change your tires over to

all-weather tires unless of course you're living in Missouri with Easton

where they have a considerable amount of snow on the road you want to leave your

winter tires on as well here in BC they have extended the length of time that

you have to leave winter tires and your vehicles for mountain passes and those

types of things so we you know spring is a long time coming here but it it is

slowly coming so know that in terms of driving your vehicle and what not be

prepared for frost and ice on the roadways in the morning and take note of

the temperature outside note if it's around freezing thirty six degrees

Fahrenheit or zero degrees Celsius and for those of you who are new to smart

drive test and haven't been here before my name is Rick August yes I do have a

PhD in legal history for those of you who don't know legal history is the

study of courts policing and prisons and my expertise is in policing as it

relates to traffic I was a truck driver through most of the 1990s in the late

1990s it became a driving instructor with an expertise in air brakes and most

places in North America and other places in the world you have to be

knowledgeable in air brakes and past that as an endorsement for your license

I drove for Greyhound when I was in Australia this is a picture of me in

2003 when I still had some hair and was driving learning to drive coaches I was

actually with a trainer at this juncture and in 2006 in Australia I've completed

my doctorate from the University of Melbourne as I said in with a specialty

in policing as it relates to traffic in the transition between horse traffic and

horse-drawn traffic and motor traffic at the turn of the 20th century so that's

essentially me and who I've been and I started my youtube channel there a

couple of years ago and it has been wildly more successful than I thought it

was ever going to be so yes so some of the changes that come with spring

obviously or weather which all of us enjoy I'm

actually sitting in a t-shirt tonight a little cool but you know it is possible

to sit in a t-shirt tonight we have longer days more sunshine it's 6:15 here

in British Columbia in Vernon and it's still nice and sunny and it probably

won't be till about 8:30 one of the other things as I mentioned before the

line markings on the roadways can be difficult to see in the spring because

they've been worn out by plows and sand and those types of things

if the roadways haven't been cleaned yet there's lots of dirt on the roads and

that sort of thing and people tend to drive faster because the roads are

clearer and better days and more sunshine and those types of things and

there's more traffic on the roadway more pedestrians more cars more bicycles more

motorcycles and all of those vehicles are beginning to come out here in the

northern hemisphere further south as in Missouri they still have snow so if

you're doing a road test at this time of the year now you need to know that some

of the discretion and some of the less exact measures that were implemented in

the wintertime have now are now no longer in place now you have to make

sure that you stop at the correct position on the roadway and that could

be challenging because of indiscernible road markings that I said have been worn

out space management you have to have good space management if you're going to

take a road test in the spring and you have to take note of more pedestrians on

the roadway in the spring and as I mentioned earlier here when I was

answering one of the questions about passing a road test and the fundamentals

of any road test regardless of class regardless of where it is in the world

the four components as you can see there at the bottom in the red speed

management space management observation and communication and those are the four

fundamentals and if you're having trouble with a road test or passing a

road test know that over at the smart drive test website there is pash

test first time it's a course that I have you can pick that up for about half

the price of taking a road test and guaranteed that you'll pass your road

test within sixty days of taking the course and taking a road test so that's

available as well if that might be an option for you alright

so vehicle preparation one of the things you want to do in the spring

we want to have a nice spring cleaning of our house we also want to have a nice

spring cleaning of our vehicles and when the vehicles are clean on the inside and

we've done due diligence of going and vacuuming and a lot of these car washes

now are providing free vacuum services you know to draw you in and upsell you

and sell you a clean car it just a clean car makes the car feel safer so take

some time and clean all the junk out all the winter stuff and those types of

things clean the glass and whatnot and one of the videos this week I was

talking about glare and I was talking about driving at sunrise and sunset and

the disparate light levels in the sky as opposed to what's in the landscape and

one of the comments that came back was that to clean the windscreen on your

vehicle I didn't mention that but that is a an excellent point that when it

gets sunny out you want to keep the glass clean on your vehicle in that way

it's going to be easier to drive and you're gonna have less fatigue while

you're driving as well check the windshield wipers and you might even

want to invest in some brain X and I'll put it down in the description here I

don't it's not down there right now but if you head over to Amazon I have a

smart drive test store and there's some recommended products that you can buy

there and one of those is brain X and rain-x is actually quite good because it

goes right in your windshield washer fluid and it will cause the rain to

sheet off your windshield and make it easier for you to see and whatnot the

other thing give your vehicle a good clean outside and also give it a coat of

wax and that will keep it nice and clean and make it easy to wash throughout the

summer and keep it clean and whatnot the other thing you want to check in the

spring is you want to check your tires and make sure you have good quality

tires all-weather tires and whatnot and one of the you know there's certain

things in life that I believe that you should buy quality and you should not

scrimp on one of those things is windshield wipers and others tires

garden hose and shaving cream I really believe you should have good quality

shaving cream for those of us shaving our face and shaving our legs so quality

tires and I am a firm believer in Michelin's and I'm working really hard

to get the interview up that I with Gary here at Ireland and Vernon and

he's got some great information about tires and whatnot ensure proper tire

pressure now there's a couple of places that you can find the proper tire

pressure for your vehicle one is on the driver's door cell the others in the

owners manual and I have been to several tire shops and you know some of them say

32 pounds per square inch in your tires on my vehicle I think is that's around

200 kilo Pascal's we don't measure in kiloPascals so I don't really know for

example exactly you'd have to look that up you know but have good tire pressure

and if you don't know what the tire pressure is talk to your mechanic and

they can help you with that as well and make sure you have adequate tread

depth and in the interview with Gary one of the one of the things he was saying

was is that it's different tread depths for summer and different tread drafts

for winter in the summer you are allowed to thirty seconds of an inch and in the

winter you were allowed one five thirty seconds of an inch is the minimum tread

death so essentially in the summer time you need two millimeters of tread in the

winter time you need minimum of four millimeters of tread but you know I just

recommend that you have really good tires and if you're not sure about the

quality of your tires go to a tire shop and get them to check the quality of

your tires and how much tread and see if that they're acceptable safe driving

habits that you can implement and this is essentially the Smith space cushion

system but we can't call it that anymore one of the things you want to do is you

want to look farther down the road and this is the fundamentals of defensive

driving it still is the fundamentals of defensive driving so aim high and your

steering keep your eyes moving and essentially that was what I was saying

is part of passing a road test is observation and that observation in

terms of keeping your eyes move is moving as shoulder checks looking far

down the road scanning the instrument panel checking your mirrors and doing

all of that on a regular basis so that you were scanning your mirrors and

looking down the road and those types of things every eight to ten seconds make

sure that other drivers see you through eye contact if you're not sure you know

cover the brake and make sure that you don't go if you're not sure what's going

to happen or what the other driver is doing and make sure they see you

if you watch the video you know your life can change in an instant the Vedas

a video that I put up this week you know crossing the road and I was

trying to get eye contact with the driver but the driver decided that he or

she was going to charge me in their pickup truck and you know I when the

police asked me if I got the license plate number I said no no I didn't get

the license plate number I was too busy trying to get out of the way so yeah so

make sure they see you even it sometimes even if they do see you they're still

gonna go and you know they're gonna you know take the right-of-way so give them

the right away when you're driving in busy traffic and again this goes back to

the question that was asked about you know how to drive in busy traffic make

sure you leave yourself and out and you can always control the space in front of

your vehicle and again make sure you get the big picture make sure you're looking

not just on the roadway but on both sides of the roadway looking for

pedestrians and people on scooters and bicycles and those types of things while

you're driving and that video content that keeps coming out motorcycles and

bicycles so yes now that we're in spring we have motorcycles we have bicycles we

have pedestrians and we've people on scooters people who have mobility

mobility challenges in our on electric scooters and I've seen them on the

roadway numerous times one of my pet peeves in terms of bicycles are these

recumbent bicycles and I do understand that some people who ride recumbent

bicycles have mobility challenges and can't ride the bicycle and but they are

really low they're below the door the passenger doors windows which I find

really difficult and if they don't have a flag on it I mean it's really quite

dangerous in traffic I think it's a very high-risk vehicle to have on the roadway

now the other thing to keep in mind with spring coming on in those types of

things we're going to have more emergency vehicles because we have more

crashes in the summertime than we do in the wintertime and if you encounter an

emergency vehicle you need to move over the closest shoulder and that may not be

the right shoulder or the left shoulder it may be the opposite sides of the

shoulders now know as well that with most places in North America and other

countries in the world now move over laws so if there's emergency

vehicles on the side of the road or tow trucks and whatnot you need to move over

and give them some space that you're going past some volunteer firefighters I

know in Ontario have green flashing lights when they're responding to a call

and going to the fire station and whatnot

and for those of you watching if you have any volunteer firefighters that'll

leave me a comment we can talk about that as well and if you're watching on

the replay by all means leave me a comment about volunteer firefighters you

know responding to emergency calls and then what color the lights are on their

vehicles and whatnot and you know just in keeping with that something somebody

reminded me of a couple of weeks ago was is that funeral processions we need to

get the right of way to funeral possessions that's a custom here in

North America and it's just a you know a sign of respect when we stop and wait

for funeral processions to go by one of the other things about emergency

vehicles they often travel in groups so if there's an ambulance that comes out

very soon behind it oftentimes there's going to be a fire truck or there's

going to be a police vehicle or whatnot so know that as well and then finally if

you are sitting at an intersection you may have to turn the corner or if you're

going to roundabout you may have to go through the roundabout or whatnot and

sometimes in terms of emergency vehicles if you are at an intersection it might

just be easier just to stay put they might be able to weed their way around

and get through the intersection without you moving so that might be the other

thing now as in Missouri they're having lots of snow there so take note of the

weather know that there's going to be ice and snow at higher elevations or or

in the south as is it the case this week in the in the east and in the south and

in BC's interiors I mentioned previously they do they have extended the length of

time that you have to have winter tires on your vehicles to proceed through the

mountain passes and whatnot but simply you know be prepared for winter if

you're heading out into rural areas and those types of things and know before

you head out I mean you can check the weather you can check here in British

Columbians Drive BC but there are lots of websites in different parts of the

world that you can check and get the weather and road conditions before you

head out okay and as well with spring and summer

coming on know that construction crews are going to be oh they're gonna be out

fixing the roads there are going to be potholes on the roadways and in some

places potholes are going to be different you know much more prevalent

than they are in other places some of this road construction is going to have

detours and whatnot and you'll have to follow the signs and pay attention to

those you may have to follow directions of flaggers and whatnot so take note of

all of that with spring coming on and then finally the other thing that may

happen if you're driving in rural areas is animals on roadways and whatnot so

take note of all of that while you're driving here in the spring and enjoying

the lovely sunshine and warmer weather so if you got a road test coming up in

the next couple of weeks good luck on your road test and remember pick the

best answer not necessarily the right answer all right so just transition back

over here and I'll answer some questions that anybody has about passing road

tests and whatnot oh just about there we go

Samantha you came back there you are why three are eight six there you go yes 380

yeah that was a horrible tragedy with the bus and the tractor-trailer unit

they're in Saskatchewan with the hockey team it was that was just awful I was

reading the newspaper report the other day but unfortunately there hasn't been

anything released yet in terms of what happened on the in the crash and what

the circumstances were but little doubt it had to be at highway speeds due to

the you know the fatality the number of fatalities that occur because of that

bus crash now some of you may or may not know but in late in the late 1980s there

were two really awful bus crashes in Australia and there were two of them

within a very short period of time that we're in about six or eight weeks of one

another the first one was a coach and a tractor

trailer Union the tractor trailer unit whoa somebody fell asleep either the bus

driver or the truck driver fell asleep and essentially what happened was is

that the bus the truck went down the side of the bus and the ROO borrow on

the front of the bus or the bull bar rather basically opened the side of the

bus up and everybody on the side of that bus was killed and the 168 weeks later

essentially two coaches collided head-on on a rural road and essentially

everything in the front of the bus back to this seat five disintegrated in the

crashes and what happened was this a couple of things came out of that crash

you know unfortunately one of the things that happened was is that they had leg

bolted the seats to the floor in the bus and when the two buses collided the

seats lifted up out of the floor and the lag bolts essentially were you know

jagged points in the bus and everybody came forward and was essentially

eviscerated with these like leg bolts so they learned that they had to bolt the

seats down in the bus and the other awful thing that happened in that bus

crash and reason that people perished in the bus crash was because they couldn't

get the people out of the buses because what had happened

because the front doors essentially had been disintegrated in the crash and the

the emergency exits are the windows were the windows on a coach or six feet off

the ground well they had to build scaffolding beside the buses in order to

lift people off the buses and it took them a couple of hours before they were

able to build that scaffolding to get people off the buses so they were they

were very horrible bus crashes often are okay Tommy

any tips for cleaning your car with leather interior I'm getting ready to

clean up my car soon my car is black on the outside and I find it so hard to

keep it clean it is yes it is one of the things Tommy is is that if you go to

Canadian Tire or um yeah I don't know what I forget whether you're in Canada

or in the United States apologies about that you can get leather cleaner car

interior leather cleaner and just you know give it a good vacuum and then wash

it you know with a damp cloth wipe as much as you can off and then treat it

with this leather treatment stuff product that you can buy at any sort of

auto shop you know auto parts shop for those types of things and that'll help

you to keep it clean and then the car on the outside unfortunately black is

pretty tough to keep clean most of the time but if you apply a good coat of wax

to the vehicle that's gonna help you to keep it clean on the outsides for sure

all right

easton if you can if you can buff out the scratch on your windshield that's

probably gonna be less expensive however one of the things you got to keep in

mind is that it's going to compromise how clear the windshield is eventually

you're gonna get to a point where a windshield on your vehicle if it gets

older it's sometimes it's just easier just to replace it that way it's going

to be cleaner you're gonna have better vision through the windshield like my

windshield is just completely cracked and it needs to be replaced and that's

the next piece that I'm gonna do after I finish the exhaust so then I'll pretty

much effing new vehicle and whatnot so there we go okay so 380 green lights in

Ontario and blue and Pennsylvania for volunteer firefighters that's great

information yeah and as 380 said their in terms of volunteer

fighters responding to emergencies and trying to get to the station so that

they can get on the fire trucks and get up to the station and he helped that

other vehicles on the roadway can you know give out that really helps them

open whatnot so yes thank you Thank You Tommy yeah for sure if if there's a

funeral procession by all means just pull over and wait and you know let them

go by it's just it's a really nice sign of respect so yeah yeah Easton if that's

what if you're having a lot of glare on your windshield then it's probably

better if you just get it replaced I mean you know for if you if you have

collision on your vehicle your insurance includes collision I think it's just the

matter of the deductible 100 or 200 dollars whatever your collision is now

you know I don't have collision on my Honda because it's so old but you know

it's only five hundred dollars to get my windshield replaced so it's not too

expensive okay 3r eight-six mock tests before Road to

us how many should it take before initial test okay so eighty six if

you've been practicing for your road test and you feel fairly confident in

terms of your slow speed maneuvers and driving on the roadway and left turns

and right turns and those types of things and you feel like you've got the

four components in place for your road test you know observation communication

speed management and space management what I suggest is just booking you know

a 90-minute lesson with the driving you start instructor and you'll need to book

that three to four weeks out because these driving schools are pretty busy

but if you have a 90 minute road test with them and you say listen I just want

you to do a mock road test and they'll do a mock road test for 20 minutes or

half an hour and then they'll work with you on the the skills and techniques

that are not in place that need to be you know strengthened for you to pass a

road test the other thing that they're going to do in terms of the driving

school if the driving school with is within close proximity of the licensing

center where you're going to take your tests they'll take you on the route

where you're going to take the test they're not necessarily going to say

that to you but they will do that so that's the other piece that that little

driving lesson is go to help you out with us is that you'll

get some familiarity with the exact test route in and around the test center

where you're going to be taking your test okay ah

edgert how old was I when I was got my well I couldn't wait to get my driver's

license and so I was 17 when I got my driver's license of course when I got my

driver's license you know four hundred years ago when dinosaurs roamed the

world we didn't have the graduated licensing system in place so it was

essentially you could go and get alert us and then to two weeks later you could

go and get your your license but unfortunately there were some delays in

terms of me getting my license but once I got started you know then later in my

20s I got my tractor trailer license and whatnot so you know yeah okay yes so

Tommy Oshawa yes thank you for that thank you

for the reminder so yeah you can just go down to Canadian Tire and get some

leather product and that will help you to clean the seats and whatnot but you

know just wipe them with a damp cloth first and then you can treat them and

all of that will help to make the seats better and whatnot

all right Samantha

okay okay Paulo is it correct to hold the steering oh okay yes Paulo ten and

two yes that's a good position on your steering wheel it kind of depends a

little bit about the configuration of the steering wheel on the vehicle that

you're driving because sometimes you know now they're advocating eight eight

and four but I find even for just not enough control and you're basically on

the bottom of the steering wheel the reason that they're now kind of some

driving manuals are saying eating for is because of the air bag and if the air

bag comes out and you're at nine and three or ten and two it's gonna do

damage to your arms but I don't really you know I don't know whether that's

true or not you know it's I don't think you have as much control of the vehicle

at eight and four so ten and two I think as long as you've got both hands in the

string will sort of in that you know 9 + 3 + 10 + 2 position I think you're gonna

be fine in terms of your road test for sure so yeah that's that's a good

question okay

okay Felder I have a question what does d 5d 4d 3 okay so dry five drive for

drive three those are sensitive gear Xin the automatic transmission and Felder

what you want to do is if you have Drive just drive you want to put it in that

because then the automatic transmission will shift automatically now these other

gears oftentimes an automatic transmission you're not gonna use those

gears I mean unless you're going to parking lot or towing a trailer and

getting started or something like that that's a good question

the other thing for more information Felder what you want to do is look in

the owners manual for the car or look it up on the internet and that will give

you specific information about that vehicle and where those what you can use

those different gears for but most of the time in automatic transmission

you're just gonna put it into drive and you're gonna drive the vehicle and then

the transmission will do what it's designed to do okay all right stove

nasty how many times I've done it a few times yes I have been I've lost my cool

yes Sam is here how are you Sam Sam Jericho yo-yo works for rookie auto

driving school in the Bronx and he also has a YouTube channel check out his

YouTube channel if you're in New York and get some very specific and very good

information about passing a road test there in New York in the Bronx okay so

yes definitely shoulder checks for the purposes of a road test thank you very

much Sarah that's very lovely and iron jam you are most welcome my friend okay

and most of those times that I told people they were number one when I was

driving when I was driving truck and I was very tired most a lot of the time

because most of the time I was quite tired driving truck so it does happen

even to the best of us there we go okay

Seraph I have a stone chip the size of the chickpea will this be an issue for

your road test what I suggest Sarah is if you can go

and get it fixed it's only about fifty dollars to get the stone chip fixed and

the other thing that's gonna do is gonna prevent your windshield from cracking so

I would take it in as quickly as possible if it hasn't already started

cracking then you can get that fixed in that one you won't even know that

there's a chip on your windshield and it's something I would strongly suggest

because I didn't get my windshield done quick enough and it's cracked all the

way across and actually there's a video here I didn't find it about a year ago

so I don't know where's Corey could find that but yeah Kyle's here hey Kyle how

is you must be Kyle presto is at the University of Toronto and you must be

near exams either done exams or in the middle of exams so being the sixth of

April you're probably in the beginning of his Am's or did you have any exams

Kyle okay okay Oregon you need some practice with right turns and speed

control one of the things I might suggest Oregon is you may need you may

want to revisit the fundamentals essentially what I want you to do is

look at the video on learn to drive how to learn to drive and it gives you some

exercises to do in the parking lot I might suggest you go and rent some of

those 36 inch one meter tall pylons and go back to a parking lot and just

practice just re revisit the fundamentals and that might help you

with your speed control in your right-hand turns and then of course go

back and practice those a little bit more and make sure you have the vehicle

slowed down before you actually commit to the turn so on right-hand turns on

smaller intersections ten to twelve kilometers an hour ten hour sorry ten to

twelve miles an hour and then sort of eight to ten kilometers an hour make

sure you slowed right down for those right-hand turns and looking through the

turn where you want to go and that's gonna help you up with your right-hand

turns okay somebody asked me about

Easton driving knobs suicide knobs they're illegal you can't use them on

vehicles and you look in the drivers in the highway traffic bag you can't use

those suicide knobs on vehicles so there you go

Edgar no Edgar you have to get a learner's permit first before you can go

for a road test unfortunately depending on where you are you're gonna have to go

through the whole kind of graduated licensing program and make sure you have

know what the criteria is for that and whatnot so yes

creative space I'm trying to get my license before I start as a junior in

college in the fall semester I keep making wide turns during practice how

would I fix this okay so creative space again look at the video on how to learn

how to drive and it'll give you exercises to do in the parking lot go

and get some of those 36 inch one meter tall pylons and that'll help you to

control the primary controls of the vehicle and work better and work to have

better control of the primary controls the steering wheel to brake in the

throttle and that will help you with all of that and that'll help you with doing

wide turns the other thing is what's causing you to do wide turns is that the

faster the vehicle goes the last sharp it turns so make sure that you are

slowed down before you start executing the turn that way you're gonna have more

control in the turn because if you're going too fast the vehicle doesn't turn

as sharp you don't have as much control you don't have as much time to react so

make sure that you're slowed down to the speed that you need to be slowed down

before you start working on the turn okay that's one of the the common errors

for new drivers when they're learning how to drive is they're going too fast

through the curve Juve the permit test doesn't change however one of the things

about the test is is that they have five or six different variations of it so

essentially what happens if you're doing your test on a computer there's 200

questions in the question Bank it'll pull out 30 of those 200 questions a

train so each test is going to be somewhat

different that you're going to get you're never going to see the same test

again and the other thing with computer software is that it will randomize the

question answers on each test so it will seem somewhat different so make sure

you've carefully read that and as well core you might be able to find the video

on how to pass a knowledge test and also don't read the drivers manual for

cover-to-cover if you're doing the knowledge test go and find practice

driving test questions on the websites and there's some online as well and do

the practice driving test question don't use the practice driving test questions

to test your knowledge and ability rather use them as a learning tool to

identify the gaps in your knowledge and those questions you got wrong simply go

back to the manual look up that information and then go back and do the

test when you're getting consistently 80 or 90 percent on the test that's when

you're ready to go and write your permit test all right

and we're confident you're gonna get your license they're creative space

you're gonna do that video thank you so much I'm glad that you got your license

congratulations that's really a great effort on your part

so okay um 86 yes maintaining your speed that is a

bit of a challenge no doubt even I have trouble keeping speed and that's why I'm

I'm such a huge cruise control advocate but for the purposes of a road test you

can't use cruise control so look at the video on controlling the throttle and

Cory might be able to find that for you put that up for you and you know just

practice with it just go to a parking lot and sit in the parking lot and try

and hold the throttle at maybe 1500 rpm or 2,000 rpm and then you know just bang

on the throttle and be a bit aggressive with it you know drive down the parking

lot of it then you know put the throttle right on the floor feeling what it feels

like but it's just a bit of practice in terms of what you need to do in terms of

controlling the throttle and that will help you to maintain your speed the

other thing you can try and do is work on maintaining a distance from other

vehicles and know that your speed is going to fluctuate and whatnot so okay

what I'll do Sam is I'll put your YouTube channel down in the description

there and then they can have a look down in the description for anybody watching

on the replay and want some more information in terms of driving in the

Bronx driving in the boroughs in New York New York there Sam can certainly

help you with that Oregon yes we all want to be perfect in terms of driving

but the problem that the challenge with driving not the problem the challenge

with driving is is that driving is so complex that it's difficult even for

those of us who are veteran drivers to do it perfectly without making errors

and even the experts the people who do this kind of training all the time know

that people make errors because you know when we get into a vehicle it can be any

time of the day you know we can be sort of in any

emotional state and you know there's so much going on especially at complex

intersections in urban areas and those types of things essentially yes you can

do most of the things right most of the time and you need to put habits in place

that will keep you safe so that when you do make mistakes you've got lots of

space around your vehicle that is going to compensate for that error that you've

made in judgment and you know I think that's one of the things that helps us

out in terms of you know being veteran drivers is that we've developed the

habits that keep us safe when we do make errors because every now and again

unfortunately we do make errors okay

yes easton there is a video I did one and I don't even know what it is off the

top of my head it was one of the live streams I did a couple of weeks a few

weeks ago and Cory might be able to find that for you

well good luck on any exams that you do have Kyle do you have a bunch of papers

that you have to write and whatnot to finish up for the for the term all right

okay creative space also how do you make the left turn stay on the left lane for

some reason when I do left turns I end up in the right lane okay well first of

all create a space one of the things you're working against the social

driving because most people who make left-hand turns will end up in the right

lane again you have to manage your speed through the left-hand turn and depending

on the size of the intersection your speed is going to be anywhere from sort

of 12 to 20 miles an hour or 15 to 30 kilometers an hour and you need to

manage your speed for the purposes of a left-hand turn if you can do that and

get your speed down then what's gonna happen is you're gonna be able to look

where you need to go and you're gonna need to stay into that left-hand Lane

especially if you're going for a road test because if you don't go for a road

if you don't stay if you don't go left - left or right - right if you're making a

right-hand turn on a road test you're not gonna be successful so know that for

the purposes so I would just practice that consistently that you need - left -

left right - right okay

yes it would all right okay okay Samantha how much do written test I'm an

understanding 25 or 40 questions in written test and not sure what questions

are being asked okay so Samantha most G 1 written test

so first most permit tests have 50 questions of which you have to get 80%

so I think 80% is 35 questions you have to get 35 of the 50 correct

I think somebody maybe somebody can do the math for me on that but you have to

get 80% to pass the road test to pass the knowledge test right and as well

make sure that you read all of the answers make sure you pick the best

answer not necessarily the right answer in terms of what's going on as well make

sure you look at the diagrams because this a lot of these computer-based

knowledge tests for the purposes of your driver's license are going to be

computer-based and they're gonna have diagrams and those types of things and

you have to pick the best scenarios to know that as well for the purposes of

passing a road test okay Liam 40 correct there you go Thanks Easton creative

space you're most welcome Liam okay you're you have some

trepidation around people not giving you space when you're doing a lane change

one of the things you need to do Liam is you need to signal early if you got

minimum three flashes on the signal other drivers are definitely going to

help you to create space and and the other technique that you need to do Liam

for the purposes of doing a lane change is because you're moving on a diagonal

from one lane to the other you're covering more space and so to maintain

the speed limit or the flow of traffic you need to speed up slightly and that's

somewhat counterintuitive for new drivers is to speed up slightly because

the tendency is that you want to slow down so don't slow down so actually a

little bit of throttle when you're changing lanes and what I might suggest

for to you is to just get on a stretch of road

any other vehicle so you know early in the morning or later in the evening and

then just practice changing lanes back and forth when there is another traffic

around and then that way you can practice just accelerating ever so

slightly when you're moving from one lane to the other so three flashes count

the flashes one two three do your shoulder check look forward shoulder

check again and then start moving the vehicle over if the way is clear excuse

me okay so there you go Eastern and twenty

five correct questions in most states okay so for the knowledge test we're

back to talking about the knowledge test there again okay video I had to follow

up on a question on a school bus laws under your respective video please take

a look at it when you find time absolutely video yeah I'll get a look at

that videos by apologizing that it it has been a busy week you are most

welcome Samantha anything we can do to get you through your road test here and

be successful come to Wisconsin I've been to Wisconsin I actually in the

1990s I actually delivered cow mats to Wisconsin so that the dairy cattle would

produce more milk that was one of the things I delivered to was the state the

great state of Wisconsin okay so you had your commercial license pH where are you

in the world are you in the states are you in Canada and one of the problems is

here just let me know where you are and I could probably give you a more

detailed answer about what you'll need to do because if you're in Ontario

you're gonna have to write a knowledge test and probably that consists of

whatever class of license you have with a school bus or straight truck or

tractor trailer unit and you're gonna do an air brake test as well and then it

consists of a knowledge test for general driving as well so that's what you need

to do in order to maintain your commercial license in the province of

Ontario and it could be that somewhere else I know here in British Columbia

there isn't anything some places you're also going to have to do with

medical as well that's the other piece okay so you're in California yeah you

may have to write a knowledge test and you probably have to take a medical in

or in terms of doing that that should be fairly easy information to to to find on

their website okay but send me send me an email Rick at smart drive test and

I'll look that up for him you can figure that out okay Sara that's pretty funny I

get lost in grocery stores too funny ah

that's funny every time somebody talks about grocery stores I always think of

the Eddie Izzard skit when he's talking about entering grocery stores and that

feeling of fresh because everytime you go into the grocery store all you sees

produce and fresh produce and whatnot he says you never enter the grocery

store and go into the toilet paper aisle

yes okay so a sense of direction one of the things you can do in terms of sense

of direction is look at a map figure out where North is in the city and so once

you figure out north and you can figure out South East East East is over there

West so north south west and east and then perhaps the other thing you can do

is get a compass and put that in your vehicle and get a sense of which

direction you're going and then that way when you're driving around the city or

driving in a place know just take note whether you're going north east south or

west right and that will help you out in terms of directions and whatnot I don't

you know I'm I'm not sure if you know a sense of direction is something that you

could learn potentially you could or it's something that we just innately

have it's kind of like customer service can you teach customer service or is it

something that we innately have I don't know all right okay what tips do you

have for reversing creative space actually have a lot of tips on reversing

there's actually a whole playlist on reversing and the only caveat that I'll

say about the reversing videos is one of the videos they did tell you you could

take your seatbelt off if you're taking your road test and reversing do not take

your seatbelt off leave your seatbelt on for the duration of the test okay but

after you get your license in most places in the world

you are allowed to take your seatbelt off you don't have to wear it to reverse

but for the purposes of a road test leave your seatbelt on okay Billy

retaking my test in Tuesday in California in the differ in a different

City last time was a fluke as my instructor plan to fail me before

driving a Zadro she continued to yell at me was I just I'm sorry to hear that I

really cringe when I hear driving examiner's and other people yelling at

students it's just one of the worst things you can do so okay there we go

yeah you know now saying that I do want to say that most driving examiner's are

really quite good and they're not they don't yell at students in those types of

things but unfortunately there are some that kind of you know leave a bad color

for the rest of them unfortunately so yeah if you do had a bad experience

that's unfortunate so yeah okay so I think we're getting near the end here

we're gonna wrap up here if you're watching on the replay by all means give

it a thumbs up if you haven't subscribed already to smart drive test where you'd

appreciate if you considered subscribing smart drive test helps new drivers get a

license veteran drivers to remain crash free and CDL drivers to start a career

as a truck or bus driver and I'm always available leave comments in the comment

section I'll try and get to those as quickly as I can

and answer those for you try to get on there everyday and answer questions for

people so Nicolas what do you need to know for the road test you need to know

that there's four basic components regardless of class of license or

wherever you're taking a road test in the world observation communication

speed management and space management those are the four components ok so just

to reiterate those speed management you need to do the posted speed limit or the

flow of traffic whichever speed is the last space managed you need to stop the

correct position on the roadway when you're stopping in traffic and those

types of things that stop sign to intersection traffic lights and whatnot

you need to not get near any other fixed objects on the roadway and other traffic

and then observation you need to observe clearly shoulder checking looking far

down the road 360 degrees scans when you're

reversing and slow speed maneuvers and whatnot and communication you need to

use your lights horn hand signals appropriate hand signals get eye contact

whether the drivers in position of your vehicle on the roadway so those are four

basic components all right and you were welcome everybody

Liam you need to go slowly when you're changing lanes in standing traffic so

nice and slow just keep your signal on for the whole time until somebody helps

you to create a space and then just slowly move over to the other Lane

okay Johnny I'm not sure what you're asking me there the car he would fail me

ok can you read oh sorry ok there's the rest of it I had an issue

because he wanted me to start the car but he didn't have a seatbelt I asked

him three times and he turned and gave oh that's I'm sorry to hear that Johnny

that's just that's awful yeah they really should be putting their seatbelt

on without giving you grief about them putting your seatbelts on

okay eighty six you are most welcome we're glad that we can help you out with

getting your license and being successful so thank you everybody who

showed up everybody who's asked questions and makes this really

interactive and really great and sharing your stories and again leave a comment

down in the comment section we'll be more happy to help you out if you like

the video give it a thumbs up if you're new to smart drive test consider

subscribing and for those of you pass a road test in the last week

congratulations on that for those of you having a road test in the next week or

so good luck on your road test and remember pick the best answer not

necessarily the right answer have a great night bye now

2011-2014 F150 Diablosport inTune i2 Tuner 3.5L EcoBoost Review & Dyno - Duration: 5:27.

The DiabloSport inTune i2 tuner is designed for the 2011 to '14 EcoBoost F-150, and it's

perfect for the owner who wants one of the fastest and easiest ways to gain big power

out of just a single mod, even in a stock truck.

It's also a great way to get the most power out of your current bolt-ons or ones you plan

on installing in the future.

The tuner comes with a bunch of pre-loaded tunes for all different driving styles and

octanes, including 87, 91 and a performance 93.

DiabloSport says that their 93 tune will net your EcoBoost some serious gains, which we'll

test out shortly.

This tuner can also store and load custom tunes based on your truck's exact setup, which

will unlock the full potential of your mods by ensuring they're working together to get

to the most power.

It's also extremely useful for monitoring all of your engine vitals on the fly with

easy to read full-color 2.8-inch display.

The i2 tuner is a great tool for reading and clearing trouble codes without needing to

leave the driveway.

Installing the tuner itself is extremely simple with onscreen directions to walk you through

the install.

So expect a 1 out of 3 wrenches on our difficulty meter with a total time of about 15 minutes.

We established a baseline dyno run in our three and a half liter with stock wheels and

93 octane, and it put down 335 horsepower and 408 foot-pounds of torque at the rear

wheels.

We then uploaded the performance tune on DiabloSport's i2 tuner, ran it again, and it made 353 horsepower

and 421 foot-pounds of torque at the wheels for a modest bump in power.

We saw peak curve gains of 26 horsepower and 35 foot-pounds of torque.

DiabloSport's i2 tuner will come with 6 different preloaded tunes to choose from with different

octanes ranging from 87-93, as well as a mileage booster and a towing tune.

The tunes aren't just touching [SP] your engine by adding a quicker throttle response and

more boost, the performance tunes will also change transmission settings that will make

your high RPM shift points faster and firmer, especially in a factory sport mode.

For the daily commute, the mileage booster tune will be the best for daily commute and

that will give you the high RPM power you want with a much better mpg ratings in the

lower rev range.

The tuner itself can be plugged directly into your computer for any necessary software updates

or tune downloads.

Outside of tuning, the inTune i2 tuner has a ton of features that make it super useful

when mounted in the truck.

The almost three-inch full-color display is easy to read day or night with the adaptive

brightness setting.

It's designed to look and feel like a modern smartphone for easy use and portability.

With everything this tuner offers at just south of 400 bucks, it's a great price to

pay for preloaded tunes as well as the ability to install custom tunes and being able to

monitor your truck's vitals on the fly.

This is an investment that could pay for itself within a few years of use.

You could save a few bucks by just going with a straight can tune, but you'll be missing

out on the customized tune profile that's truly optimized for your truck.

Switching over to the install.

This is going to be an easy 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter and it should take

you less than 15 minutes with no tools required.

Your first step is gonna be to plug in the tuner to the cable itself.

I'm just gonna plug it in right there, like so.

And then you're gonna plug the OBD2 port right here underneath your steering column.

And now with our DiabloSport tuner plugged in, we're gonna set our truck to the run position,

but do not start it.

You have to agree to the terms, and then once you hit this screen, we're gonna go to Tune

Vehicle.

It's gonna ask you to continue because our key is in the run position, then we wait.

So now we're at the main menu, we tune vehicle.

We are in the run position.

Do not start your truck.

We're gonna do an easy tune.

It's gonna allow us to pick our parameters.

We're doing a 93 octane, so then it's gonna ask us 93 octane performance tune?

Just click Tes.

Change tire size?

No, we're running stock tires, but this would be where you would change it.

Gear ratio if you need to.

If you wanna remove your speed limiter, and we're gonna click Yes.

And then now we're just gonna play the waiting game.

It can take anywhere from 10 minutes to about an hour according to the instructions, so

we're just gonna wait.

So, yes, we're gonna install the 93 octane tune.

And we're gonna use the gear-ratio, tire size, and speed limiter that we selected before.

So we're gonna turn our ignition to off, like it says.

Turn the ignition to on, but do not start.

That wraps up my review on DiabloSport's inTune i2 tuner.

You can check these out and more at americantrucks.com.

DCS: F-86F - Airplane Shut Down - #12 Tutorial - English subtitles - Duration: 8:32.

Hi and welcome to Revientor Reborn, in DCSw F86 in the shut down tutorial

This is a very short and simple tutorial, but I like to do it

Because the ramp start is in one way, but the shut down is not just the opposite,

Let try to keep an order

starting on the right

the first thing is the IFF, set to OFF the other buttons do not matter

We´ll keep the radio on until turn of the plane,

the navigation also can be switched off now, only with that switch

the light, external ones will be on,but the compass light is on, you can turn it off now,

that panel will use it at the end of the shut down

look that I am keeping Hi RPMs to get all systems on

like the radar, the ideal is to keep the radar off ones you are going to land

down here, we´ll set to off the guns/radar

if you have weapons you must to check the weapons switch are off, like this one on the center

and the rocket ones be sure to have the cover down

the other switch do not matter

in this part be sure to set the LABS in off

the emergency fuel pump get it off

the pip in normal

the parking brake set on

the landing light you can turn it of even retrac them I prefer retrac them

the oxygen also you must to close the valve

there you can see the label on/off, and that switch do not matter

check the guns are in off

flaps be sure to keep them down , cycle the system to ensure it

in this panel nothing to do, there is trimps...

now idle the engine

the gen is como online

now you have to keep the engine on a few minutes 2 or 3 to ensure the system cool down a little before shut down

in DCS do not matter but in real life this old planes need this operation so prolong the engine life

in this way the oil cool down smoothly

this is not the north pole but turn off the engine from hi temperature "makes" that the oil and the system cool down too fast

now you can shot down the comms

meanwhile you can check the visor have the giros caged the missile volume to minimum, in this way the next pilot must set its desired volume

now with internal light off, we can turn off the external ones, and then the engine because already way those 2 or 3 minutes

use end to cut the engine power

the RPMS go low now

cut the battery power, and the main engine off also

also the generator to off

open the canopy and now cut the breakers to avoid system use

I don´t know them by heart but looking the labels is easy, the ignition one, and fuel feed forward system

the iff and radio in this down part

here on the left, the weapons, bombs release, bombs selector, gear landing control, 3 ways inversor, this is just to play more with the plane

visor calefactor, energy visor, and its done

this is only to use that buttons and do something that in real life is done also

normally this kind of thins is nor performed by the pilot, is the mechanic who is doing that cut breakers

and some other security measures are connected according the status of that plane, if the plane will not fly until tomorrow or the evening that safety is different
