Hey, guys, Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today I'm bringing you a quick overview of the NGK G-Power Platinum Performance Spark

Plugs, which are available for all '93 to '01 Cobras, '96 to '04 GTs and Mach 1 models,

as well as the '98 to '04 V6s.

The NGK G-Power Platinum Performance Spark Plugs you see here today will be for any '93

to '04 Mustang owner who might be looking to swap out their factory plugs that may be

old, worn out, and misfiring for a set of upgraded performance options from NGK.

This will give you an overall quicker start, lower emissions, improved fuel economy, and

also reduces the required voltage.

This is gonna be for the guys with stock or mildly modified Mustangs, of course, since

it does have a heat range of a normal five.

Obviously, spark plugs are crucial in keeping your lightly modified or stock push router

mod motor running smoothly and efficiently.

Now, obviously, NGK has been making spark plugs for years and these are gonna be a performance

upgrade with a better material.

Now, if you're looking at a bad set of spark plugs in your motor, you could experience

a number of symptoms, symptoms such as a rough idle, a rough start even, bad fuel mileage,

things of that nature, the list goes on and on.

This is definitely a good upgrade to improve of everything I just mentioned, giving you

a better fuel efficiency, better throttle response even with a smoother and quicker

start.

When you're shopping around for plugs you want to make sure you're taking note of what

the heat range is because that will determine which plugs to go with your particular setup.

For example, NGK's heat range goes from a 2 to an 11, but you want to take note because

this particular manufacturer actually goes a little bit more backwards in some of the

other brands.

What I mean by that is typically a heat range number that's higher would mean it's a hotter

plug.

With NGK, it's actually the complete opposite.

The higher the number, the colder the plug.

Now, the reason you'd want a colder plug is for a forced induction setup or something

of a higher horsepower motor.

Now, in this particular case, you're looking at a heat range of five, which is extremely

normal, which means, again, just to reiterate, this is for the lightly modified or bone stock

motor.

As far as materials and construction goes, this was manufactured from NGK with a copper

core to give its superior conductivity and a platinum tip for a clean burn that also

reduces the amount of voltage required to make the engine run at full power.

The G-Power options were also manufactured with a trivalent metal plating to make sure

that it also has anti-seizing capabilities as well as anti-corrosion.

As far as pricing is concerned, this will come in around the $30 mark, which, believe

it or not, is actually less than a Ford OEM replacement you'd get at say Pep Boys.

With that said I did use these exact plugs in my '95 Cobra, which was naturally aspirated

and slightly built, and they started up fantastically and had a great idle.

I never had any complaints.

So if that's similar to your setup or if you've got a stock motor I definitely recommend these

plugs.

Now, obviously, as far as installation goes, changing some spark plugs are extremely straightforward.

You want to have a ratchet and socket set on deck and a few extensions of different

sizes, as well as a spark plug grabber socket just to make sure you don't drop this down

to the engine bay, which can be a huge headache.

With that said, you might also want some anti-seizing grease, if you want to use those as well,

but the material is geared to prevent some of that.

But if you want to make it extra secure, that's up to you.

Overall, it shouldn't take you longer than about two hours from start to finish to swap

these out.

I'll definitely give it a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

In this post we will tell you how can you cure cracked heels super fast, and in just

Step 1: Warm water treatment

You will need

Luke warm water

2 spoon baking soda

Pumice stone

2 spoon salt

1.

In a tub take luke warm water

Add baking soda and salt

3.

Mix it

4.

Soak your feet in this water for 15 minutes

5.

After 15 minutes pat dry your feet and rub it gently with pumice stone to remove dead

skin layer

Step 2: Scrub

You will need:

2 spoon oil

Sugar

1.

In a bowl take 2 spoon oil and add 1 spoon sugar

Your scrub is ready

3.

Rub your feet and heels gently with this for 5 minutes

4.

Wash them with plain water

Step 3: Moisturizer

You will need

Some candle

Oil

1.

In a steep bowl take 2 spoon oil, add a small piece of candle

2.

Put this in hot water so it will melt

3.

Now let it cool, your foot cream is ready

4.

Apply this cream all over your feet bottom, cover them with socks

Vegan Talk : The hidden figures : other women were forgotten : the example of Sawache - Duration: 12:35.

Hello my foodies!

Today, we are going to talk about the movie "The Hidden Figures"

I saw that movie at the end of March with my friend Diane

because we wanted to assist to a kind of round table... Let's tsay "meeting"

with members of the afro feminist community and the facebook page with the same name.

I will put the link down below, do not hesitate to go to the page (it's in French though)!!

The facebook page is held by a wonderful lady named Estelle, so go on the page

and like it!!

so, to be able to attend the meeting, we had to watch the movie "The Hidden Figures"

which is called in French "Les Figures de L'ombres" first.

So, i am not going, at least i will try, not to spoil the movie, (i had to cut the sequences where i summed up

arguments, opinions and feelings we had regarding the movie for you to be able to make your own opinion)

but in brief, it is the story of 3 young afro american women who work for the NASA as human calculator.

They will have to fight against sociological and professional issues.

The event occured in 1961,

which means the treatment toward black people, espcially toward black women is different from white people.

In the movie, you can feel that there is classification and categorization of people regarding their race.

It starts at the beginning of the movie.

Black women don't have the same treatment as white women,

white man don't have the same treatment as white women, but this part is more subtle.

The major part of the movie was about those 3 black women.

After watching the movie, we went to a café in Paris with Diane to meet Estelle, Odile and other members of the group,

to talk about the movie.

We first talked about the movie, we gave our impressions and made some comments

regarding the positive and the less positive aspects.

the second part was about the objectification of black women in sciences.

This part was the most poignant.

I honestly had to hold back a lot of emotions.

in the movie, there were chocking scenes, Diane was often upset watching the movie,

she clearly wanted to fight against some characters.

But to me, i felt more emotional being with the community talking about the objectification of black women than when i watched the movie.

i felt really touched by

(even if i knew that aldready, the fact that we talked about it made me feel more upset)

the story of sawache.

(I hope i did not mispell her name)

She was one among several black women who were used to permit progress in sciences

I chose her because she is a figure of that era.

She was a slave coming from Africa.

She was seen by a colon, and he noticed her because

she corresponded to the stereotype of the black woman we know nowadays :

big lips, nose and big buttom. As if she was an exception among her peers

that colon thought he could use her for his own benefits

She was used for gynecologic operations (she was also prostuted and shown in human zoos in England and France).

Sawache went through (same for her peers) more than thirty operations a day, without any anaesthetic.

Knowing anaesthetic already existed at that time.

You can imagine how she felt.

When i heard that part, i had trouble to swallow..

Every time i have a blood test, I need to prepare myself.

Thinking of what she went through made me feel really upset and angry.

The "surgeon" who did that is known as the one who discovered the speculum (he actually did not,

but he's the first one who thought sticking a spoon into a woman vigina, info in the description box)

I did not remember his name so i said i will add it after : James Marion Sims

(more info in the description box too)

He is known to be the one who used to slice open black women, i mean to "train" on black women to improve his knowledge.

So, as you understood, a lot of black women were used for that purpose.

That is also something we talked about.

We also talked about women who were exhibited in zoo (we mentionned exhibit B)

As i said before, Sawache was also used for that purpose.

After the discussion, we came to a conclusion i found really interesting :

Women as Sawache served sciences and we are now facing the consequences. Let me explain :

There is nowadays stereotypes around black people in generals.

When we say we don't like being categorized and being considered as uniform people,

like "there is A kind of black woman/men"

people would reply "do not pay attention, it doesn't matter"

But those stereotypes have been fixed in the collective unconscious

Because we don't look for the origin of a stereotype,

(same when i talk about veganism with people

like "you are telling me because i don't eat meat, i will have a lack of nutriments, ok. But WHO told you you need to eat meat to have a good health?"

Most of the time, people are unable to reply because we learnt that from an early age through TV)

They do come from somewhere. They are so fixed in our mind that we don't wonder where it comes from.

We also have another issue : in the French colonialism history, a lot of things were erased/hidden

because there is a guilt in this country. We shouldn't talk about what happened in West Indies.

"We are the country of the Republic, of Human Rights"

"nothing happened 'in' France, we must let things from the past in the past"

"What happened in French colonies does not count because in France, it was forbidden"

"every single black man who came to France was freed"

Yes BUT : France committed violent actions that it doesn't want (same for French) to recognise.

Each time we try to talk about the issue, people often say "stop victimizing yourself"

As i say in the video in response to "I am too dark" ("je suis trop noire)

If we only look the consequences without taking in account the causes, we won't be able to progress.

We finally thought :

At that time there were a lot of "scientists" who associated black men and women to animals

who objectificated them, who wanted to study them

"this one as that kind of nose, that one is like that" they also pretented that because we had a forehead

in a certain way, we were not intelligent

in brief, the uniformized "the Black".

"The Black is like this, it looks like that"

"The Black thinks (or doesn't) this way and that way" and so one.

Those scientists who made studies which gathered information like "a black man/woman looks like this and that"

published their "studies".

Those same studies were read, recognised and validated,

learnt.

Those same people who learnt those "studies", internalized them

and.... taught them to their peers, who taught them to their peers...

So everyone started to have the same kind of mindset.

Because France and French history is a kind of complicated, they'd rather erase some part of history.

As a consequence, a lot of French has internalized stereotypes and clichés about the black community, but they don't know where they come from.

They are also unable to say why they think this way (to avoid the issue, they'd rather say/ "this is the past" or "we don't see color")

That's why i think it's important to talk about that "ugly" part of (the French) History.

For us to understand where it comes from to be able to find a solution.

If we don't know the origin of a problem, we can't find a solution.

This is an example of subjects we talked about. I found that really interesting.

We also talked about scientist black women :

in NASA, in politics and so on.

We talked about a lot of interesting but in brief, these are all the subjects we dealt with.

I really enjoy going to those kind of events, we learn more thing about history, about others so about ourselves.

We are in what i call a safe space.

We are with our community, with open minded people.

We won't judge someone because s/he thinks this or because s/he questions this or that.

We really give the floor and listen to everyone.

You really feel that mutual aid and that support. It's really a safe space.

This is the kind of place i like to be.

It allows me to learn new things, to question things and to find explications to others.

Anyway,we are on the first weekend of April,

i assisted to the conference "Intersectionalité toi même tu sais" (which means : intersectionality, you already know it).

Same, in an hour an half we learnt a lot of things.

The subject turned around police violence.

I may make a video about the subject (EDIT : i don't know if i will be able to do it though, i will be busy for a while ^^')

but it will be another video at another moment.

Owen Ovadoz, we already talk about him

He is one of the rappers of MKIT Rain that we love very much

And he returns to pay tribute to Allen Iverson

Who is just one of my favorite basketball players of all time

In this song, it's not really a tribute where it explains all that good Allen Iverson

It's more a song where he compares himself to Allen Iverson

That's why the title is Yellow Iverson, because he calls himself the "yellow" version of Allen Iverson

And he compares all the qualities they have in common

We like the two rappers very much, and they have accustomed us to a very specific style

So it's not a song that brings a lot of suprise

But they both do something in which they excel and which we love very much

There is a bit of autotune, it must be confessed

But it really sounds, not bad at all

It's very nice to see this rapper come back and shine like that and regularly release titles
