Youtube daily report Jun 25 2017

Hello I'm a Maceál from Rapalje and in this show

William will show you

how I changed, modified and ruined

a perfectly fine guitar

Ride on

See you

I could never go with you

No matter how I wanted to

Hello I'm William From Rapalje

and I'm the one who's going to explain something about the instruments in the band

Because you had a few questions from

Malvina from Poland

and Michael from Germany

David is going to tell something about the bag pipes and Dieb about the fiddle

but my question been special about the gitouki

Which I actually learned to play for the band Rapalje

before I start playing this

kind of music I was only playing the guitar

the mouth organ and a tambourine

Which you will see in another version of the Rapalje Show and

And, eh

I have to stretch my T-shirt a bit

Because it's from a special band from Germany

Friends of mine and they gave it to me. But it's much to too small

for my lovely big body

So to Knasterbart:

Please buy bigger T-shirts! Yes?

That was in German

Good day, Michael Hyde

and good day

Malvina

These two people have special questions

About the instruments

Which being used in the band Rapalje

Michale Hyde, he's been asking

I'm interessed

How you modified your instruments

Or what so special is for your sound

I mean: It only takes a few seconds from your instruments

And you know that you are on the stage

Well, thank you very much Michael, that we are so recognizable about our instruments

And Malvina, she's been asking

Hey Guys I would love to know more about instruments you are Playing

Maybe you could tell something About it

Well that's what I'm going to do now

Now is one of these instruments I'm holding here

Is a

The gitouki

and it's very specialized because he's got an

It's a D

Bass string

that makes it very special

And, eh

In the other versions

Maceál is going to talk and tell something about his

mouth organs, his accordion

and I'm gonna explain something about the shape of this instrument

It actually was a guitar

Which been B shaped

with a Jigsaw and Maceál

if you look at very

by the close-up

you can actually see here

This's still this shape of the instrument stops here

It actually went like this

And like a

And this side the same

A sort of an accident with a jigsaw

And this is what made it it's special shape

The gitouki

Now I explain about this instrument

I'm gona

Show it also by starting a song

But the tuning of this instrument

is actually for lazy people

I think my colleague Maceál is a very lazy bone. It must be

Because actually invented this Instrument

but not because he's so lazy but just because he gave it a special sound

Actually its tuned like a guitar

Without the E and the A string

It's just like

it starts with a D string

the G string

the B

and a high E

And it gives a sound like this:

We've been through some fine things together

Chunks of memories still go on

We found things to do in stormy weather

Long may you run

Long may you run, baby

Long may you run

Know these changes had come

With your chrome heart shining high

In the sun

Long may you run

How Batmanman & Supermane Were Created 【 Behind-the-Scenes 】 - Duration: 4:30.

Hey guys, I'm Bram from Cartoon Hooligans. And you're watching the Carhoo Show!!

What If Batman & Superman were Pokemon Trainers.

I have always wanted to see Batman and Superman fight each other in a Pokemon battle. In fact...

I had this idea 3 years ago when I was making the first video.

Xerneas, blow their minds off with your dashingly dashing Derriere Gleam

Go watch it if you haven't already…

My initial idea was to pair Superman with the most American Pokemon ever...

Braviary from 5th Generation.

And I thought Gliscor from 4th Generation would be a perfect Pokemon for Batman.

Fast forward to 3 years later,

I came up with this brilliant idea to design with my own fake Pokemon for them.

Here is my first try on Batman's Pokemon.

I used Hariyama from 3rd Generation and gave it a Batman Halloween costume.

Apparently that didn't work out. So here's my second try.

I used a lot of design elements from Gengar and Pignite and Emboar,

I thought it would be interesting to have a fat strong Pokemon Batman to contrast with the ripped human Batman.

Once I locked down the design for Batmanman, the ideas for Nightwingwing and Robinbin came pretty fast.

With Riolu from the 6th Generation as inspiration for Nightwingwing

and Hawlucha from 6th Generation as well inspired the look of Robinbin.

As for Superman's Pokemon, I started by looking at Pokemon that reminds me of strength and manliness, like...

Machoke and Machamp

Ursaring , Beartic and Pangoro

And....I came up with this horrible design.

Then I thought I should make it four legged instead.

like a lion or a dog or something like that.

The first four legged Pokemon I thought of were Growlithe and Arcanine

2 of my favourite 1st Generation Pokemon.

And so I practically use Arcanine as the blue print for this version of design

with a bit of elements from Entei and Pyroar.

And since it is a lion like Pokemon with mane, I called it ...

SUPERMANE !!!

Okay, now that we are done with the characters, I'm gonna show you guys some boring animation stuffs

which I'm sure most of you guys are not interested in watching but I'm gonna show you anyway.

So what we are seeing here is a sped up footage of me drawing in Photoshop.

What's my secret of being able to draw so good you asked?

Well, it is pure talent, nothing else. I was just born with it.

Genetic.

Do I practice every single day to be good in art?

Noooo~~ are you kidding me?

You don't need to be hardworking , just get yourself an expensive graphic tablet

and you will be able to draw and paint like a pro.

C'mon man, common sense.

okay, cut the bullsh*t and let's jump straight to the final result.

And~~This is how it looks like in the final video with effects and movement.

Next, this is the rough animation of when Batmanman uses Thunder Punch.

At this point, the characters are not yet being given any colour or shading.

I passed this to my team member to re-draw my messy drawing and colour it nicely.

What you are seeing here is when I press the ANIMATE button on my keyboard

and everything will be done for me effortlessly.

Making animation is super easy, just a push of a button.

Easy peasy.

See, the background just appear out of nowhere on its own.

I don't even have to paint it for hours.

If you don't have a keyboard with the ANIMATE button on it.

Just use your magic wand instead. Swish and flick and say the magic words

Wingadium Animassion

See, it is already done.

Thank you so much for watching, I hope you all enjoyed this video. And if you do,

please give us a like and subscribe to the channel for more videos like this .

Stay tuned and I'll see you all in the next episode of The Carhoo Show.

WVB2.52 - Showing Moxie - Duration: 23:22.

What are they patrolling, anyway?

Nobody else is using these highways.

Instead of throwing a grenade I hit the key for in-game voice chat :D

That skirmish was probably much longer than it needed to be.

It would be so easy to just use the Defiler on their asses.

But honestly that makes it too easy and not as fun.

I'm not sure what you need to hit to destroy their backpacks.

Probably their backpacks.

Eh, not bad.

:D

♥ Knoxx

Trying to mix it up a little.

...which was my first mistake.

:(

Jerks.

So dramatic.

It's wonderful that she has a bar full of dead people.

What is OER or Open Educational Resources? - Duration: 3:18.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to talk about OER or Open Educational Resources.

OER is an umbrella term for freely accessible, openly licensed text, media, and other digital

assets that are useful for teaching, learning, and assessing as well as for research purposes.

The movement is an outgrowth of the open access, open science, and open education movements.

The term OER got started in the late 90's or early 00's and is usually credited to

David Wiley, MIT the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, who all played separate roles

in launching the valued movement.

OER material is usually digital, and carries a broad level of openness with ready access

with no restrictions on reuse, usually using a Creative Commons license.

In fact, many times the material can be personalized to an institution or school.

The material comes in the form of student textbooks or workbooks, faculty resources,

supplemental content, videos, worksheets, software, and other materials.

The digital and open nature of the material means easier revising when errors are found

or the content becomes outdated content, with reduced time for these revisions.

The obvious benefit is very low or no costs to the student or the school/institution.

The initial focus of the OER movement was on K to 12 education, but it quickly expanded

to higher education including highly academic fields.

Higher education is a natural place for OER to blossom and succeed as course materials

continue to rise in price.

OER faces a few challenges.

First there is no universal open file format for OER materials.

Second, the perception still exists that free means lower quality or unreliable quality.

Expanding acceptance of open access journal articles may be helping to change that.

Also, efforts such as Center for Open Education at the University of Minnesota to have faculty

around the country review and rate the material will help ensure quality and reliability with

this content.

There is a lot going on in this area.

An organization such as OER Commons (at oercommons.org) is leading the way.

They "offer a comprehensive infrastructure for curriculum experts and instructors at

all levels to identify high-quality OER and collaborate around their adaptation, evaluation,

and use to address the needs of teachers and learners."

Major institutions such as MIT, Google, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, many

of the other major foundations, and many state and national governments are investing heavily

in developing and promoting OER.

I look forward to reporting back on OER's headway into higher education, particularly

STEM education, very, very soon.

Well that's it.

I've released a new eBook called, "The Request for Proposal in Publishing: Managing

the RFP Process."

It is a short, focused guide to this essential business task that associations or societies

use to find potential publishing partners.
