Today is Techie Tuesday. I have my sidekick here, my daughter Corrine.

Today is Techie Tuesday from Daily Connect and the topic today is going to show you

How to post to Instagram from your desktop, so if you have cool pop or cool quotes or pictures

That you have on your computer and haven't quite figured out how to get it on your --

[laughs] If you haven't quite figured out how to get it from your computer, Instagram

I'm here to show you, so it's two apps that I've discovered using and towards the end

I will share the resource with you of how I found out about this and how I started using it.

So this is Tailwind. One of the things that I like about this -- Come on

So this is a free trial and of course technical difficulty. Go back. Dashboard.

- [laughs] All right, so on this screen, I'll show you.

This one, you can -- here we go. Here's a, so Tailwind.

What I like about this, is that you can upload images and it comes out looking like this.

This one when Adam West Side, Batman, the City Hall across the world or across the country put up the Batman signal

So this one it kind of takes -- What I like about Tailwind, it also takes the guesswork out of hashtags.

If you need hashtags, like you need motivation

It puts it in here for you. If you already have preset hashtags

You click this link and you label it, so whatever hashtags that you have here

"#beyourownboss", "#ladyboss", "#likeaboss", what have you, you click this here "Entrepreneur"

And it already comes populated. This is how Tailwind app.

If you want to upload an image, so if you have images that you want to upload

So if I have this image here that I want to upload, it'll say "Done". Let's see, reload.

Then here's the picture here. Then I can type whatever caption

"#beyourownboss", "#ladyboss", whatever it is you want to put in the caption

Whatever hashtags you want to put in, then you can say "Add to queue".

Here, if you look over here, it has a calendar right here. It'll say Tuesday

Which is June 27, and then if I queue it, it's going to post at 2:19.

The reason why it gives me 2:19 is because I was going back to the analytics here.

What it does is, Tailwind also analyzes your profile, your Instagram profile

So it tells you how many followers you have, how many posts you've had, how they're doing.

Now the comments, that comes in the paid version.

If you want the comment and you want to see how many likes you have

There is a paid version to this.

The free version shows you how many followers you've received in the last seven days

And how many posts have you done in the last two days

And it gives you the analytics, so that's Tailwind and that's one app that you can use.

The thing about that is, once you are ready to post, you also want to download the app

So it's a Tailwind app and it comes out and kind of go down there.

The Tailwind app already has a picture here. It's already in-queue

So if it's in-queue, you'll get a reminder on your app at 2:19 saying

"Sabira Layla. Yes, Tailwind app".

The purpose of tailwind is that you can use all the cool images in your computer

And then set a schedule and you won't forget it.

It takes the guesswork out of, "Well, what time should I post?"

Tailwind does that for you. It already gives you time of the most, I guess, high volume times to post.

Hey, Betty Jean. I'm so glad that you like it.

The next one that I want to show you is called PromoRepublic.

Now this one has a 14-day trial, and it's also browser-base [sic]

And you also have to have a mobile app.

This also is browser-base [sic], so you can upload and then you'll get a reminder on your phone to post.

What I like about PromoRepublic is, and I'll show you.

Let me go to my screen, and I will show you.

This is PromoRepublic. Does everyone see the screen now? Okay.

PromoRepublic takes the guesswork out of well, what do I schedule?

What can I possibly put on Instagram? I don't know what to post, I don't what to do.

Takes the guess work out of it. Today's the 27th, right? It already has a free version.

If you click here it gives you a free version and it's PTSD -- My computer's lagging a little bit. PTSD is -- There's PTSD awareness day.

Who knew? Everyday there's an awareness day, right? Today we are acknowledging and honoring our veterans who suffer from PTSD.

If you know someone and that's something that you have advocate for, you could post this.

If you don't, if you want to change this image over here, there's a photo gallery of free pictures.

You can choose different kinds, they're royalty-free.

You don't have to worry about paying for them.

If you want to stick them here. You also can upload a logo.

If you have a logo you can upload your own logo and watermark the pictures

So that it's granted to you. You can add text. This is my IG.

Come on, change the color. This is my IG post. Very similar to, you can move it around

Change it around, things of that nature.

If you go back to -- This is also -- If you don't want to use it

It gives you a calendar of different thing.

The premium version, that's the paid version.

Down here, it says Premium, today is happy birthday to you day.

Decide to be married day. Industrial workers. World day.

There's all these different things.

Then they have US president's birthday, things of that nature.

If you want to use these preset images, you can.

They have a free trial version, which you get a 14-day free trial

Up here, and then you can upgrade.

If you want to upgrade to get the premium version

It's 15 -- Wait till it catches up here. $15 a month or you can be billed one time.

They have a pro version. Here you can add Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

You get downloads. You can download the picture and upload it yourself.

Sometimes I download the pictures from PromoRepublic and I'll upload it to Tailwind

Just in case I want to research hashtags and I'm being a little bit lazy.

Those are the two apps that I wanted to share with you today.

Well, what a weekend we've had at the NAIF inquiry.

Questions, answers, politicians talking angrily over one another - all the things that get

the blood pumping!

That's right, Nik.

It's been a big few days.

Let's get up to speed on all the slush fundy blow by blow.

Are you ready?

I'm excited.

Let's do it.

I declare open this hearing of the Senate Economics References Committee for the inquiry

into the governance and operations of the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility

It is unlawful for anyone to threaten or disadvantage a witness on account of evidence given to

a committee, and such action may be treated by the Senate as a contempt.

Gives you chills, doesn't it?

He's certainly laying down the law there early on.

That's right, Nik, he's not taking any nonsense from these two teams.

And the hits just came from the beginning.

Let's have a look at the footage.

...the public governance of the NAIF, resemble a third world country struggling to develop,

where corruption is inherent.

Oooooh!

That was a massive tackle!

I wonder how the NAIF team will recover from this one?

Devastating!

Especially for an organisation spending $5 billion of our money.

So one of the board members with particular experience with relation to governance - indeed

with a PhD in governance - has just resigned.

It's somewhat concerning... <interjection> "Who is that?"

Dr Sally Pitkin.

In the NAIF submission next to her name it says "To July 31 2017".

Her picture's been taken down off the NAIF website.

And so, it is somewhat concerning that there's been no public statement about this.

Absolutely unbelievable!

A board resignation - in secret - with no mention of anything about it on the NAIF website.

This is a clear red card Coxy.

Surely this is all but over?

It's got to be close to the end Cas.

But word on the street is that they've got a new recruit from New Zealand that they're

hoping can turn things around - but at this stage Barnaby Joyce can't even get on the field!

Unbelievable.

But hang on!

Here comes star NAIF player, CEO Laurie Walker.

Maybe she can turn around this shocking slump in form?

I should explain that just because you're in a due diligence phase

doesn't mean that that due diligence is being undertaken.

Are you saying to us that you have no proponents before you technically?

She's brought half the office with her.

But that hasn't helped at all.

A terrible mistake.

That's a penalty for sure.

There's no talk out there at the moment, Nik.

So it's a very bad sign.

Someone on the team's gotta let her know she's in trouble.

This presupposes that the company mentioned has done something.

And NAIF - <interjection> "it has done something"

The NAIF board - would you just shut up for a moment and stop interrupting?

Some aggro there from the NAIF supporter benches Cas.

Absolutely.

He's an old school footballer Coxy, but I think the time has come for retirement.

Definitely.

And now Di Natale, the captain, is getting involved.

This could cause real problems for the struggling NAIF side.

Adani made public statement that a NAIF loan was not critical, that they've applied for

it because it's available, and that it's not make or break for the project.

Why weren't they disqualified at that point?

Goaaaal!!!!!

Surely this is all over now?

And there's the buzzer.

What an embarrassing performance by the NAIF team, Cas.

That's right, Coxy - from revelations of a secret board resignation, to being named

worst in class, to finding that the Carmichael coal mine should have been ruled out out of hand

This was a shameful display from a NAIF team well beyond its best.

That's right Cas.

No heart, no hustle, no integrity as a team.

They've really got to do something to turn themselves around here.

In my opinion time to retire this sorry excuse for a franchise and start again.

Couldn't agree more Coxy.

Time to end the misery for everyone concerned: draft some new projects for Northern Australia

that will help its supporters, and above all our great game.

New 1-Click Play Addon for KODI - August 2017 - Duration: 5:33.

hey guys Techdoctor here today's video is all about an add-on called sub-zero

so I came across this in the last couple of days so I thought make a quick video

and share it with you guys as always I'll give you a quick overview of the

add-on then I'll give you the exact steps you need to follow to install it

so if you're looking for something new to point to your Kodi

I think you'll find this out on pretty good so with that being said let's get

started okay so when you first start the add-on this is what you'll see so you

have sections for comedy TV shows new movies then you go to sections for 2017

movies 2016 2015 2014 2013 and 2012 then you have a

separate section for older movies boxsets kids movies and then finally

kids box sets and one of the good things I like about this time add-on is if we

go into one D section so that's Troy 2017 movies so next to each film

actually tells you what quality you're going to get this film at so I know some

of the other add-ons you have to basically click on the film first wait

for the streams to be found and then it gives you a list and you can choose one

of the streams here you know straight away which stream is going to try and

play so literally it's just the case of doing a one click and your film should

start so we just try one of these so let's say for example we want to watch

let's try a 1080 ones let's try Resident Evil let's try that okay to give that a

second

and we can see that starts playing pretty much straightaway and as

mentioned this is one click play so it's I'm going to show you a list of

providers it's not going to ask you what you want to click on you just click on

the film and that starts playing pretty much straight away okay let's stop there

okay so figure out of this and then for example in some of the other sections

like for example older movies you've got some of the other some of the other

older films here as well and I think like I mentioned before the fact that

you can see what quality this one's going to play out I think that is a is a

nice feature and just gives it a confidence on what you're about to play

or you know it advanced like if the quality's going to be bad bad or not if

we just run another 1080p stream so let's try let's try it for tuned are so

while this is learning so guys you do get prompt from a player it basically

means that you need to prepare your device so I can show you how to do that

in a second but essentially Aegis means on another device on your network if you

just access that website that's playing fine let's top that is if you if you do

get prompted that you need to air your device with a player all it means is you

just go to that website and then there'll be a button for you to click on

just saying pair your device and that basically means any Kodi device on your

network can access a player links for the next four hours such a like to watch

any content without being prompted again it literally just go to the website

click on one link and then all the devices on your network okay and it's a

one-time thing you have to do so once you do it you're okay for four hours so

guys I've mentioned if you need to pair your device with open load just go to

this website soil player calm and you'll see this page here basically is click on

I'm not a robot it will have your current IP address here and we need to

do is click on pair and this basically means that on your network now wherever

Cody's installed you can now access open road links without any problem for four

hours so it's just like another method they've got to secure you know the links

that they're sharing and generally I found the links are an open load to be a

lot more reliable the normal links okay so to install the

sub-zero add-on the very first thing we need to do inside Kodi is navigate a

system which is this cog wheel appear inside system let's go to file manager

we want to add a source and the address for the source is HTTP colon four slash

four slash M with dot uk' four slash repo I'll save a copy of this link in

the description let's click on ok let's give that a name I'll just call it dot

Merlin click on OK again now if you go back up one back again now we want to go

to add-ons inside add-ons we want to click on this box icon on the top left

we want to install from zip file choose any repository you just added that our

case it was Merlin and let's click on the zip file ok so we got the message

saying that the repository has now been added we can now go to install from

repository to choose the merging repository video add-ons and find

subzero let's click on that and click install ok so choose the menu repository

here and we got the message saying that add-on has now been installed so we can

click on that click on open and we're back to the add-on and that's all

installed and working fine that's it guys I hope you find that videos useful
