Jürgen Klopp on Stoke win, Salah and Solanke

Jürgen Klopp reflected on Liverpools 3-0 win over Stoke City by saying: It was hard work, but we deserved it.

Sadio Mane gave the Reds an early lead at the Bet 365 Stadium with a deft dink over Lee Grant, and Mohamed Salah - who started on the bench as one of six changes made by the manager - rounded off the victory with two clinical finishes late on.

Afterwards, Klopp was asked to assess his sides performance, Dominic Solankes first Premier League start and Salahs impact, and also discussed Manes display and rotation.

Read on for a full transcript of the boss post-match press conference.

On the result and performance… It was hard work, but that's how football should be – especially when you go to places like Stoke, so it was no surprise.

I think we could have made it a little bit easier for ourselves in the first half if we'd used the two fantastic chances we had.

They were not lucky or anything; they were brilliant, brilliant play.

We didn't use them, so we needed a little bit of luck in the situation around the yellow card for Simon Mignolet – I don't think it was a red card, but of course they could have scored in that situation and then the free-kick from Shaqiri was another real threat.

Second half, it was still an open goal but we should have been clearer in different situations with better passing in this moment, or a little bit cooler in another situation.

The atmosphere was there and Crouchy as well, so that means you cannot defend these balls clearly because it's difficult.

After winning the ball, we should have done a little bit better.

Then we changed twice and could decide the game.

Two fantastic goals [from Salah], brilliant play – especially the second goal and the third one was a nice counter-attack a nice finish.

In the end, it was well deserved but it was hard work.

That's how it is and no problem with that.

On Salah's impact… It is obviously good for us.

It is difficult for all of the players coming on with this temperature.

Last week we had a little bit of a problem [with the players that came on against Chelsea] and the next day more problems than the players that started; obviously sitting on the bench is not too nice, but today it worked really well.

Two fantastic goals, to be honest.

On Mane's display… Good, good, good.

Very important for us.

He needs rhythm now.

He was in perfect rhythm then break.

Good rhythm and then break.

And now he needs a little bit of time, but that's no problem.

He was really happy and it was absolutely fine with him, we all know in one or two situations if he is in a click-moment then he can score as well.

It's all good, he is ready to work.

He is very important for us.

On Solanke's first Premier League start… He should have scored! A fantastic boy, well deserved and I am really happy for him that he could do that.

He is a fantastic player.

He can improve in pretty much everything, but he is already a good player.

That's probably the best news.

I am really happy I could give him this opportunity tonight.

He has to work like all the others, but everybody who is with England looked tonight and thought, 'oh, that looks good'.

He is a really good player.

On whether he feels he has enough strength in attack to rotate… We have to protect and I am happy about the options I have.

We thought about this option and that option.

Ragnar Klavan was ill and Dejan Lovren was not fit in this moment, so if Raggy is fit Dejan is today not in the squad.

Now he started and that's how things are.

Yes, we have options to change and I am happy about all of them – and Adam is not fit for another three or four days – but I am happy about the options.

Easy Low Carb Peppermint Meringues -- Minty Treats - Duration: 2:43.

Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present low carbohydrate peppermint meringues. With only

four main ingredients this is a very easy recipe to make. These meringues are

so light and airy they practically melt in your mouth; while leaving behind a

nice peppermint freshness. Let's get started...

We'll begin with four egg whites; add a half a teaspoon of cream of tartar; this

will help stiffen the peaks. Now blend with a hand mixer. You want to get it to

the consistency of shaving cream.

Now while continuing to beat, slowly add a granulated sugar substitute equal to

two-thirds cup of regular sugar. Once the sugar has been incorporated, add a half a

teaspoon of peppermint extract. Blend until combined. Now this next step is

optional, but what I like to do here is separate the meringue into different

bowls to add some color. I'll only be using white and red here for this video,

but the sky's the limit with the different colors you can make; like green

for example; for wreaths or trees. If you want to be artistic with different

designs, then I highly recommend using a pastry bag, but you can also just dollop

them on with a spoon if you prefer. Add the meringue to a parchment lined baking

sheet either as a single mint or in special designs. Now I'm not very

artistic, but here I'll attempt to make some standard drops; Santa hats; and some

snowmen. You can be as creative as you like.

Place the meringues in the middle of a preheated 220°F oven for 45 minutes.

after 45 minutes turn the oven off and let rest for 60 minutes with the door

closed. When they come out, you'll have the lightest in area streets ever - plus the

whole house smelling of peppermint.

There you have it folks!

My low carbohydrate peppermint meringues. A very light and minty low carbohydrate treat. I hope

you enjoyed this video. If you did, please like and consider subscribing. I'll have

something new every week. As always, thanks for watching and I'll see you next time!

Paranormal Events disrupt the Philip K. Dick movies - Duration: 7:53.

Philip K. Dick was an American science fiction writer.

Films have been based on his work.

Blade Runner, adapted twice; Total Recall, adapted twice;

The Adjustment Bureau and The Minority Report, to name a few.

Some people have called him a prophet, but few people know of the paranormal events which haunted his life.

A full time writer, Philip K. Dick lived from paycheck to paycheck

in an era when Science Fiction was considered the lowest of literary endeavors.

He won those prizes most coveted by science fiction authors...

a Cambell award, Nebula awards and Hugo awards,

one of which was for a tale of alternate Earth history , "The Man in the High Castle",

in which the Axis powers had won the Second World War.

In 1974 Philip was recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction and he was in pain.

He received a pharmacy delivery at the front door of his California home.

The woman delivering the scrip was wearing a necklace bearing the Ichthys,

that fish symbol seen on the back bumpers of cars,

the symbol by which first century Christians identified themselves,

before it was replaced by the icon of the cross.

Sunlight reflected from the gold pendant and Philip was temporarily blinded by a beam of pink light.

Suddenly he was transported two thousand years into the past.

He found himself standing on a road paved with stone, in ancient Rome.

He saw soldiers standing guard at the front gate of a prison.

He feared detection by the Romans, for he was now one of those early worshipers

who communicated with cryptic signs.

Then he was returned safely to his 20th century home.

Dick realized the pink light was an intelligent entity,

which had invaded and merged with his own mind.

It changed his personality permanently.

Before, he never bothered to collect old debts.

Now he began to track down the editors who had failed to send him checks.

Before, he subsisted on a diet of ham sandwiches and Frito Lay corn chips.

He began eating healthier foods, foregoing burgers in favor of vegetarian jicama salads.

But he also began to share his life with the citizen of ancient Rome,

whose body he had occupied, and whose name was Thomas.

Dick was often unable to drive, when Thomas could not understand the pedals in the car.

In Dick's private journals, he wrote almost half a million words on this part of his life.

He invented an acronym for the pink beam entity, who was the other cohabitant of his brain...

VALIS... which stood for the "Vast Active Living Intelligence System".

One evening VALIS told Philip that his son was in great danger from a Diaphragmatic hernia.

He rushed his son Christopher to a hospital emergency room.

The doctors were skeptical when Dick told them in medical terms of his son's condition.

Yet the diagnosis proved accurate.

If Christopher's badly infected hernia had not been treated,

the child would have died within days.

35 years ago, after completing an optimistic interview about the upcoming release of "Blade Runner",

the first movie to be made from one of his novels,

Dick was having trouble focusing his eyes.

His doctor advised him to go to a hospital immediately.

He did not.

The next day he was found unconscious on the floor of his Santa Ana home,

having suffered a fatal stroke.

He was 53 years old.

A portion of his voluminous personal journals was published posthumously in the book "Exigesis".

A recurring theme in "Exegesis" is that history has changed very little since the first century A.D.,

and that the Roman Empire never ended.

He saw Rome as the pinnacle of materialism.

The Roman Empire forced the Gnostic believers underground,

and ever since, has kept humanity enslaved to worldly possessions.

Philip K. Dick was encouraged by that part of his personality which he knew as VALIS,

to become an activist, for the impeachment of the sitting U.S. President,

who was but the latest incarnation of the Emperor of Rome.

suffering from it.

One of the best way is to follow a healthy diet that is rich in bone-healthy nutrients

like vitamin D, calcium, and protein.

Below are 6 foods you should include in your diet to ensure string and healthy bones.

in keeping your energy levels up.
