Beaded Channel Ring - Beginner Project - Very Easy - Duration: 9:11.
The project we're going to be making today was previously published in two different books. The first one was
"Contemporary Bead & Wire Jewelry", and the second one was
"Simply Bead & Wire". Now in both these cases, the project instructions
I provided were edited down, so what you're going to be seeing today is going to go into a little bit more detail.
The tools you'll need for this project are: flat nose pliers, chain nose pliers
flush cutting wire nippers, a permanent felt-tip marker, a ruler, a ring mandrel,
masking tape, a rouge cloth and a rawhide mallet.
The materials you'll need are: 22 gauge (0.65 millimeter) soft square wire -
the amount you'll need is going to vary based on the size of the ring you make, so we'll get into how to figure that
out in just a minute.
You'll also need two inches (five centimeters) of
22 or 20 gauge (.65 or .80 millimeter) soft half round wire
Finally, you'll need 5 x 2 millimeter large hole sterling silver beads or 10/0 seed beads
Substitutions are not recommended for this project
This is a ring that can be made in any size so to figure out how much wire you will need for your size
take a piece of thin masking tape or paper and wrap
It around the ring mandrel at 1 1/2 sizes larger than what you want as you finished ring size. So for
example, if you want a size 7 ring when you're done, you'll want to wrap the tape around size 8 1/2
Mark the inside of the tape with the permanent marker, then overlap the other end and mark the tape again where it shows through.
Then unwrap the tape & put it down on your work table.
Measure the distance between the two lines and multiply that by 3
Round the result up to the nearest whole number and then add 1 cm - that's about 25/64" -
that gives you the total amount of 22 gauge soft square wire you'll need to cut for your ring
For example, for this ring the measurement is 5.8 cm
So multiply that by 3, add 1 cm, and that's a total of 19 cm
Clean and straighten the wire with the Rouge cloth or your fingers
Starting at the top of the ring mandrel,
wind the wire in a tight coil, taking care to keep your wire "on the square".
If you notice it going off square, stop immediately and fix it before continuing
Enlarge the coil by gently pushing it down the ring mandrel until it sits comfortably without spring back at
1 1/2 sizes larger than your desired finished ring size.
You'll want to periodically take the ring off the ring mandrel and flip it over while you're enlarging it.
That helps to prevent the ring shank from developing a cone shape.
Once you've achieved the right size
check to see that you have three solid strands on the top of the ring and four on the bottom
Use the permanent marker to mark the midpoint of the top of the ring & the midpoint at the bottom of the ring.
Then take it off the ring mandrel.
Feed the beads onto one end of the coil and move them around to the middle of the strand on the top of the ring
and center them on the mark.
Wrap a piece of tape around the beads and the shank to hold them in place.
Then flip the ring to the bottom and measure and mark 1/4" (7.5 mm) on either side of the center mark.
Straighten out the free ends of the wire a bit with the flat nose pliers.
Then grip one of the free ends at the mark and make a 90 degree bend across the ring shank.
Repeat on the other side.
Position the pliers over the wire
perpendicular to the shank and bend the free end around the shank 1 1/2 times, ending on the inside of the ring.
If you find this hard on your fingers use the chain nose pliers to bend the wire.
Trim the wire on an angle with the wire nippers and press the wire firmly against the shank with the chain nose pliers.
Finish the other free end of the wire on the other end of the coil in the same way.
You'll want to check the ring with your fingers to make sure there are no sharp edges.
Press the edges down with the chain nose pliers, but take care not to squeeze too hard
or you'll mark your wire. Slip the ring on to the ring mandrel and apply pressure with your fingers to even up the shape.
Remove the tape and realign the beads on the midpoint.
Clean and straighten the half round wire. Trim one end flush.
Check the wire for which side is the flat side.
Now you're going to want to bend this half round wire into a hook,
but you want that hook to form a box on the end that mirrors the square wire,
otherwise you end up with a bulge on the side of your binding.
Bending the wire into a box and helps it to sit more snugly against the ring shank.
You'll also want to make sure that the gap here is as wide as the square wire is thick.
You'll need to look at your flat nose pliers and kind of guess where the thickness of the pliers
matches the thickness of the square wire.
Once you know where to position the wire, grip the end with the flat side facing
away from you. Bend the wire in a small hook and then angle the tail slightly upwards.
Hook the tail onto the ring shank next to the beads and then grip the wire across the shank with the flat nose pliers.
Curve the wire with your fingers and feed it through the ring.
Gently press the wire against the underside of the ring with the flat nose pliers.
Fold the wire up and over the shank and then press it into place with the flat nose pliers.
Curve the wire with your fingers and feed it through the ring.
Trim off the wire and press it into place with the flat nose pliers.
Add another set of two bindings on the other side of the beads with the remaining half round wire.
Then slip the ring onto the ring mandrel and gently tap it with the rawhide mallet to finish it round.
So there you go!

How the world's first subway system was built - Christian Wolmar - Duration: 4:58.
It was the dawn of 1863,
and London's not-yet-opened subway system,
the first of its kind in the world, had the city in an uproar.
Digging a hole under the city and putting a railroad in it
seemed the stuff of dreams.
Pub drinkers scoffed at the idea
and a local minister accused the railway company of trying to break into hell.
Most people simply thought the project,
which cost more than 100 million dollars in today's money,
would never work.
But it did.
On January 10, 1863,
30,000 people ventured underground to travel on the world's first subway
on a four-mile stretch of line in London.
After three years of construction and a few setbacks,
the Metropolitan Railway was ready for business.
The city's officials were much relieved.
They'd been desperate to find a way
to reduce the terrible congestion on the roads.
London, at the time the world's largest and most prosperous city,
was in a permanent state of gridlock,
with carts,
costermongers,
cows,
and commuters jamming the roads.
It'd been a Victorian visionary, Charles Pearson,
who first thought of putting railways under the ground.
He'd lobbied for underground trains throughout the 1840s,
but opponents thought the idea was impractical
since the railroads at the time only had short tunnels under hills.
How could you get a railway through the center of a city?
The answer was a simple system called "cut and cover."
Workers had to dig a huge trench,
construct a tunnel out of brick archways,
and then refill the hole over the newly built tunnel.
Because this was disruptive
and required the demolition of buildings above the tunnels,
most of the line went under existing roads.
Of course, there were accidents.
On one occasion, a heavy rainstorm flooded the nearby sewers
and burst through the excavation,
delaying the project by several months.
But as soon as the Metropolitan Railway opened,
Londoners rushed in to ride the new trains.
The Metropolitan quickly became a vital part of London's transport system.
Additional lines were soon built,
and new suburbs grew around the stations.
Big department stores opened next to the railroad,
and the railway company even created attractions,
like a 30-story Ferris wheel in Earls Court to bring in tourists by train.
Within 30 years,
London's subway system covered 80 kilometers,
with lines in the center of town running in tunnels,
and suburban trains operating on the surface, often on embankments.
But London was still growing,
and everyone wanted to be connected to the system.
By the late 1880s,
the city had become too dense with buildings, sewers, and electric cables
for the "cut and cover" technique,
so a new system had to be devised.
Using a machine called the Greathead Shield,
a team of just 12 workers could bore through the earth,
carving deep underground tunnels through the London clay.
These new lines, called tubes, were at varying depths,
but usually about 25 meters deeper than the "cut and cover" lines.
This meant their construction didn't disturb the surface,
and it was possible to dig under buildings.
The first tube line, the City and South London,
opened in 1890 and proved so successful
that half a dozen more lines were built in the next 20 years.
This clever new technology was even used to burrow several lines
under London's river, the Thames.
By the early 20th century,
Budapest,
Berlin,
Paris,
and New York
had all built subways of their own.
And today, with more than 160 cities in 55 countries
using underground rails to combat congestion,
we can thank Charles Pearson and the Metropolitan Railway
for getting us started on the right track.

1985-1995 Mustang 5.0L Ford Performance B303 Performance Camshaft Review - Duration: 5:03.
The Ford Performance B303 Performance Camshaft is a great choice for any '85 to '95 5-liter
pushrod Mustang owner who's looking to get a great choppy cam that sounds good, and produces
great mid-range torque, and some top-end power suitable for street, and relatively frequent
track usage.
Now, everyone knows the 303 cams from Ford Performance are pretty affordable, coming
in at just under the $200 mark.
The installation, however, is pretty involved.
You'll need some knowledge and expertise on deck.
Expect the full three out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.
Now, if you're looking for an affordable, reliable camshaft for your pushrod motor,
then everyone in the Mustang world knows that the Ford Performance 303 cams, otherwise known
as the alphabet cams, are a great choice for that motor for the price.
The B303 cam I have here isn't the first in line, it's a step-up from their starter cam,
so it's got a little more to offer.
Now, let me break down the options and explain who the B cam will be for, and, obviously,
what the rest of them offer.
Now, the first cam in line in the alphabet cam series is the E303 cam, which is actually
what I had in my own '95 Cobra, so I have a little bit of experience with that.
Now, it works pretty good, not too crazy.
It's got a very nice muscle car choppy sound and feel to it, especially when you combine
that with, say, a Borla exhaust like I did.
Now, it makes a ton of low-end torque, which is obviously great for the street usage, and
makes it perfect for any daily driver or weekend warrior, and it's great for light track runs.
Overall, it's a really good starter cam.
Now, if you're looking for something a little bit more ballsy than the E303, then the B303
I have here today is the next one in line.
This cam is a nice step up from from its predecessor, and it's still street-friendly, just the peak
power moves up a little higher into the mid-range.
You can expect more power at that peak than the E303, since it's slightly bigger, so the
track benefits are a little bit more noticeable here.
Now, the sound is even choppier because of that, too, so expect some serious muscle with
this one.
Now, next in line is the F303, which is often referred to as the boost cam because it's
more suited for forced induction setups.
It'll perform at its best under boost, making amazing power, and that's really because it's
a happy medium between a high lift and a long duration.
Now, don't get me wrong, it performs well in naturally aspirated 5.0s, but under boost
you'll appreciate it even more.
The next two cams in line, the X cam and, lastly, the Z303 cam, will pretty much be
your track-dedicated options.
Now, those have the most lift out of all the alphabet cams, the biggest chops, and the
most power, especially at the top end.
Now, those may require a bit more modification than the previous cams, and expect them to
not really work well on the street.
Those last two are meant for the strip only.
Let's get back on track to the B303 cam here.
Again, it's great for the best of both worlds without being too overbearing for a street
car, while still being a good motor sports cam.
You'll be able to keep your 1.6 rocker arms, but Ford Performance does recommend upgrading
your valve springs to the appropriate recommended pair, depending on if you're running stock
heads or an aftermarket set.
Now, the stock 5-liter HO cam advertised specs for intake and exhaust duration are 266 degrees,
and lift being at 444.
The B303 specs here are advertised at 284 degrees and at 480.
This is one of those cams that makes driving just a little bit more fun.
It'll give you a respectable horsepower gain, especially when paired with some good bolt-ons
like headers, exhaust, intake, and a good tune.
You could be pushing up to the 300 horsepower range with a good setup, running a B303 cam
from Ford Performance, and this one only runs you around the $190 to $200 range.
Look, at the end of the day, this is a great option for your stock motor.
No real upgrades are needed, it's kind of just a bolt-on-and-go, so to speak.
But, it is a good idea to pick up a new set of valve springs, like I said before, just
to make sure your valve seat pressure's set at 120 pounds and 295 open, just to make sure
you don't lose compression and, ultimately, lose power.
The installation for our cam, which goes without saying, I think, is one that requires some
know-how and the proper tools and time.
Full three out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here for this one, and expect to have
the entire toolbox on deck if you're tackling this yourself.
Since, this is an overhead valve cam, you're not working at the top of the motor, like
you would be with a dual-overhead cam setup on a 4.6, so this may prove to be a bit more
difficult for you.
Overall, you'll take the better part of a day to get the job done, since it is an in-block
cam, but overall, it's really not an impossible job to tackle.
If you're not comfortable doing this one yourself, no shame handing it over to a professional
to get the job done properly.
You want to keep in mind that does tack on the ending cost, at the end of the day.
Just to wrap things up here, if you're the owner of an '85 to '95 5-liter pushrod Mustang,
then you might want to check out the Ford Performance B303 Camshaft, which you can find
right here at americanmuscle.com.

ELAN Why Me ❓ You are NOT a Victim‼️ - Duration: 4:14.
So I have one more question. Alright! Do proceed. WHY ME? Why not? (long pause) One other answer...
because you would have it no other way. And simply when you are willing to trust
that, you will allow yourself to see why. When you do not allow yourself to trust
that, you function as what you refer to in your society as "victim". Very simple.
You would have it no other way. With that basic assumption re-interpret
your reality. The results of all your realities are truly, truly a response to
decisions that you make about who you are in each and every moment. It is up to
you and only you to understand that when you contain it all, you always have the
choice to choose any of it. Anything that you are experiencing is automatically a
result of the choices that you have made. Now not necessarily do you make the
conscious choice "I will be miserable". But you do make the choice "I am not
succeeding". You do make the choice "I am not achieving". You do make the choice
"I do not have the ability". Those are choices that interpretation of yourself
is a choice and we share this because understanding all this as a choice
implies the ability to choose anew. If you understand "Why me? Because I would
have it no other way." you begin to choose the interpretations that support
why you obviously would have it no other way. ALL your physical circumstances, [for] all
of you, are a result of deciding in each and every moment who you, are trusting in
the decision in the interpretation of who you are, and then acting as though
you trust the decision. And as simple as this may seem as a way to sum up your
methodology for creating your own reality, it is nevertheless still accurate.
Nothing that is happening to you, is not also happening from you.
It is all happening FROM you. Your interpretation of the events determine
your experience of that totality, determine the filter through which you
see your reality. Deciding who you are consciously, instead of seeming to allow
a set of circumstances to dictate to you who you are, is an inherent ability that
you have as a creator, all of you. It is ALWAYS, in every given moment, an option
to decide who you are despite what you would say contrary to evidence of the
opposite. Simply remind yourself that nothing ever happens to you. It happens
from you. Simply remind yourself that your circumstances are a REFLECTION of
who you are, not the definition of who you are.

Stronghold Next - Developer Q&A (PAX East 2018) - Duration: 6:10.
Hello and welcome to a very special Firefly Studios video, we are at PAX East in Boston there are screaming people
in the background and we have a very rare opportunity to sit down with our lead Stronghold programmer, Tony.
Tony hello, let's shake hands very formally.
So we are at PAX East and we are showing MetaMorph today but I thought it'd be a good opportunity to sit down and talk
about Stronghold Next in some vague terms and give you a little bit more information
on the game as we build towards our full gameplay reveal later this year.
So let's just talk about the first thing that lots of people have been talking about
which is the game kind of overall design and focus in terms of gameplay whether we are going to
go back to more sort of sim style, is it going to have a skirmish mode? Etc, etc, etc
So is there any kind of basics you want to lay out for people so they know what
they are going to get with the next game.
The setting is not going to be a crusader three, it's not going to be Legends 2 and sorry guys I know Game of Thrones is big.
We are looking more at an interesting setting, we may have seen it before we may not have and in terms of mechanics
we are definitively looking backwards to older games to pick up on the things that the fans really liked in the early series
and some of the more fun touches and little quirky bits that define the Stronghold franchise as opposed to some other ones.
So the diseased animals caucus trebuchet ammunition, that kind of stuff.
I think fans of that sort of thing will find something new and interesting with some of the things we are cooking.
In terms of mechanics, is the game going to change up the gameplay considerably, how focuses are going to be on
some of the classical style, is there going to be any new mechanics that build on old systems or is it going to be completely new stuff,
what can you share on that?
I think fans of the series will be pleasantly surprise with the focus on castle building and the strengths of building
an effective castle and sieging and dealing with a warfare but we are also looking towards keeping the mechanics interesting
and hopefully bringing something new to the table with siege equipment and using it in ways
that feel historically accurate and may surprise you with some history.
So no magic?
No magic, no. Very grounded in reality,
certainly looking for something that feels like it almost could have really happened
but be fun in ways that reality isn't like sewage management for example.
Like old good video games.
So no gong system?
I'm afraid that's not in the plan system.
What about characters, are we going to see returning cast, new guys or is it going to be a mix or you know what can people expect.
I think you can expect new characters this time yeah.
Okay.. Teasing ;)
What about game modes, are we going to be doing a return to old modes,
is there going to be anything new on the table, in terms of what's absolutely confirmed,
that we know we are doing.
Certainly fans of the series come to know and love very particular game modes, I don't think they will be disappointed.
So Skirmish? Yes
Skirmish confirmed!
What about the returning of Stronghold features, some units, stuff that the community requests a lot all the time
like you would it be a system in the game, or a particular unit or maybe something less
easy to grasp like the tone and the feeling and maybe the humour.
I think people can expect to see a lot of old favourites back and some new plays on old systems
but one thing we've really done this time is focus on what made the originals popular and what people really liked,
we've been poring over feedback in forums and just from what we've heard from fans and our own preferences
as we've played over the years and there's a certain quirky fun to a lot of the stuff we want to recapture,
we really want to make sure we nail the feel of sieging and enjoying the whole mechanics of turtling up in defending
or launching a big assault and crumbling down walls and pressing through and get into the Lord.
I think pressing forward to what makes a Stronghold game a Stronghold game
and what are people looking for from it and I think the feeling of sieging
where the buildings and the walls are actually matter and make a big difference in your strategic planning.
We've got someone clearing the nasal passages behind so you just have to forgive that.
What about new types of siege equipment, can people expect to see that or is it going to be a classic array
or is it going to be a new series of ways to destroy walls and burn down walls, incinerate troops.
We've thought a lot about it especially wall assault because it's such a central part to a Stronghold game
and we're bringing back some older systems that I think people have missed from the older games
and in addition to that we've been thinking about historical context,
what kind of really interesting and innovative siege equipment had been done in the past
and we found that people were very inventive in the dark ages and they came up with some really cool stuff.
Do some googling and fing out what we are coming up with.
And just finally, it's a sort of low-level thing but and obviously we're making new games so
there's a lot of work to do but what can people expect in terms of quality of life improvements, going from previous titles.
Something we have done to is look at the UI and the gameplay of modern RTS,
they've come at the same time as ours and have come out since and we're looking very carefully at their UIs
and deciding what about it makes it more playable in some ways, what can we improve from Crusader 2
in particular going to our next game and rethinking the way you interact with the game.
Also paying a lot of attention to what we've read, people liked
and didn't like about our UI in the past and what we could streamline, that is getting top billing this time around.
So that was our little Stronghold Next update, hopefully that's quenched your Stronghold thirst for the time being
and I'll hold you over until we are enabled to come over the U.S. again and do another interview with Tony after we've been able to reveal the game.
Don't forget to like, share and subscribe for more Stronghold Next content over the coming months.

A true story for those who are different - Duration: 9:07.
If I took this entire bottle of pills, will I ever wake up?
When I was a child, I didn't realize what it meant that I preferred to play Jacks or Jump Rope with the girls
instead of playing football with the boys.
All I understood was that I liked the things that girls like.
When we played house, I always wanted to be the mom or the daughter.
I preferred the girls roles, because that was what felt right to me.
In high school, I was in an all boys school and I was lucky enough to meet some friends that felt like me.
it brought me even closer to what I wanted to be.
I wanted my body to be as close as possible to what it means to be a woman
so I started taking hormone pills.
I also secretly kept buying girl's clothes.
I really was so happy.
But as easy as it came, my happiness was quickly taken away
once my mom found my hormone pills and girls clothes.
She was furious.
She couldn't understand.
She couldn't understand why I couldn't be a good son to her.
She asked me over and over again, "Why are you like this?"
"Why are you taking these pills?"
"Why are you not like the other boys?"
How could I answer these questions?
After that, I started believing that if I was no longer around, my family would probably
be much happier than they are now.
And then I realized, that I was never ever going to be able to be happy being how I want to be
It was so overwhelming.
I wanted to end my life that day.
I had no one on my side, I was really... alone.
So when I picked up the bottle of pills I looked at it and wondered,
"If I finish this whole bottle, would I just fall asleep and never wake up?"
And then I thought, "If I really never woke back up again, will they care?"
I just, I kept thinking and thinking and all the while crying so hard.
I guess I was exhausted because I passed out before I could decide anything.
Not long after that, my mom made an appointment with a psychiatrist for me.
I think she hoped that the psychiatrist would convince me to be like every other boy as she imagined.
When I was there, the psychiatrist asked my parents stay outside while she spoke with me alone.
She asked me, "How long have you known you felt this way?"
I answered without a moments hesitation,
"Since I can remember, I've always wanted to play with the girls but I've never liked the girls."
"I just wanted to be a girl."
After that, the psychiatrist asked me to wait outside while she spoke with my parents.
When they came out, my father walked towards me and hugged me.
It was the very first time I saw him cry.
And my mom was also emotional.
She said to me, "ok let's go home".
In that moment, I felt so ashamed of what I am so I decided that I had to change myself.
I didn't want to hurt them anymore.
I stopped taking the hormone pills and threw out all of my girls clothes.
But I knew even then that on the inside, nothing had changed.
But at least, it's a burden only I will bear.
I spent the rest of my high school years quite happy because school was the only place I could be myself.
I was always happy and cheerful and funny when I was in school.
But when I was at home, I was quiet and I kept to myself in my room.
It's not that I was angry or that I hated my parents. I really loved them so much.
I just didn't want to hurt them again.
I lived my life quite normal.
I finished college and I started working.
I forgot about everything that happened in high school.
But at some point, it came back to me again.
I couldn't sleep.
I was stressed and irritable.
I felt sick and tired of everything.
There was this lingering question that kept popping up in my head,
"Where is the happiness in life?"
But I just couldn't find the answer to it.
One day, I went to my cousins wedding up country.
It was nice because I got to see a lot of relatives that I hadn't seen for so long.
After the ceremony, we all sat together celebrating and catching up with lots of laughs.
I also got to see my aunt that I normally see once or twice a year.
When she's in town, she usually stays with me and every time we see each other she asks me the same questions,
"How are you?"
"How's work?"
"Have you been eating enough?"
Etc.
But this time, well, this time when I saw her she asked me a set of very different questions.
Questions that she never asked me before.
"How are you parents handling how you are?"
"Do you feel uncomfortable?"
They may seem like obvious questions but their impact were so powerful, it just opened up the flood gates
It was as if it was just waiting for someone to ask.
For someone to care.
I just bursted out into tears, I was crying so hard I could hardly breathe.
"Honey, whatever you want to be, whatever you want to do, you can tell me."
"When you're with me, you can be anything you want to be."
After she said that, we talked for hours and hours.
I could finally pour out all of the emotions that I had closed off for so many years.
They were feelings that I had hidden so far away inside me.
I didn't even remember what they felt like anymore.
Maybe I didn't want to remember what they felt like anymore.
"Who do I want to be?"
"Is the person that I am today, who I am?"
These questions just slowly faded away with time.
I told her I wanted to be a woman but some things just aren't possible.
She told me that she understood and that she that had known all along what was happening.
"Every time there was a problem, your father would call me and tell me everything."
"You know when you wanted to commit suicide, he knew about it but he didn't know what to do about it."
"So he called me and I told him to just stay calm."
"Honey, he loves you so much."
"He just doesn't know how to help you."
"But he's always telling me how worried he is of you."
Her words brought more tears to my eyes and made me realize a lot of things.
After that we all talked some more and it really made us see things from a new perspective.
Then one of my relatives told me that when I get back to the city, I should go try it with them.
Try dressing like a woman.
And then she said that maybe, my mind would finally be put at ease.
I think that in all the time that passed, I must have forgotten about myself.
I had forgotten what made me happy as a kid, in my most innocent and genuine state.
I could never answer the question that haunted me all my life,
"Where is the happiness in life?"
Not until the day finally came.
The day that I was going to dress like a woman.
To tell you the truth, I felt so shy dressed that way because every part of my body looked like a man.
I felt self-conscious and unfamiliar.
But I can't remember when the last time it was that I felt so happy.
My relatives gave me endless support and encouragement.
It was one of the happiest days of my life.
"Ok."
"Now that you've done it, how does it feel? Do you like it?"
I answered, "I am so happy. The happiest I have ever been, but..."
"I don't think I could do it everyday. I don't think I could live my life normally this way."
"Well, honey, if you want to wear it, just tell me and I will bring it over."
I really wanted to thank her for bringing back the happiness I had lost so long ago.
I finally had the answer to the question that had been in my mind for so long,
"Where is the happiness in life?"
What would I tell the girl that's been hiding inside me for 30 years?
I would tell her, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I can't bring you out to reality."
"I'm sorry I've hidden you for so long."
"I can't even describe how much I love being you."
"But I really can't bring you out to life even though I would love nothing more than for the world to see you."
I'm sorry for not being brave enough to bring you to life.
But I would still thank you.
Thank you for staying with me, staying deep in my heart and always being there for me.
And I promise, we will see each other again...
This was based on a true story
Thank you for sharing your inspiring story with us.

Arsenal transfer mistake admitted 'He was telling me to stay... Now, I regret it' ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:15.
Arsenal academy graduate Jeremie Aliadiere admits he was wrong to leave north London
for Middlesbrough in 2007.
Aliadiere spent two years in the Gunners youth ranks after moving to England from France's
prestigious Clairefontaine centre.
And he made the step up to the first-team during the 2001/2 campaign, coming on as a
teenage substitute for Thierry Henry in a 4-1 win over Fulham.
Aliadiere went on to make 28 more Premier League appearances for Arsenal over the subsequent
five years, as well as spending time on loan at Celtic, West Ham and Wolves.
He opted to call time on his Arsenal career in 2007 though when Middlesbrough came calling
for him.
Aliadiere has since failed to realise the potential he'd shown at Arsenal and has
now admitted he should never have headed to the Riverside.
"I left for Middlesbrough because I forced the move, because I was 24 and needed to play,"
the striker told French outlet SFR Sport.
"He [Arsene Wenger] was telling me to stay because I'd play.
Now, I regret it.
"For me, Arsenal was the ideal club, and I wanted to do my whole career and spend my
life there.
"It felt like a failure when I felt I had to leave, but it's true that now, I arrived
at the same time at Thierry Henry and left at the same time at Thierry Henry.
"If I'd stayed an extra year, maybe I could have taken his spot."
Aliadiere scored 12 goals in 86 appearances for Middlesbrough before moving to Lorient
in 2012.
The 35-year-old is currently a free agent having left the French outfit at the end of
last season.

2004-2014 F150 Smittybilt Grille Saver Bull Bar - Black Excluding Raptor Review & Install - Duration: 8:51.
Hey, guys.
Adam here with americantrucks.com.
And today, I'm installing and reviewing the Smittybilt Grille Saver Bull Bar in black,
which is available for all '04 to '14 F-150s, excluding the Raptor models.
Now, I'm gonna be installing it on our very own 2013 STX F-150.
So what do you say we get started?
Now, before we can get to the installation of the Smittybilt bull bar, we have to do
a bit of an uninstall here of our factory tow hooks.
Now, if your truck did not come with factory tow hooks, you'll have to do a little bit
of cutting around the plastic trim to gain access to the bracketing where the tow hooks
would mount.
Now, because we have tow hooks here, we don't have to do any cutting.
We'll just take our ratchet or an extended ratchet and our 15-millimeter socket, and
remove the two bolts here that are holding the tow hook into place.
Now, the first bolt here that's closest to the front of the vehicle is actually going
to get completely removed.
The one in the back there is just gonna get loosened enough to slip the tow hook out of
place.
So let's get to it.
For the second bolt in the back, we just have to loosen it just enough...See, we broke it
pretty good, pretty loose right there.
So from there, just kind of shuffle the tow hook back and pull it out.
Now that we have our passenger side tow hook out, we're gonna do the same thing for the
driver side.
Again, 15-millimeter socket or extended-handle ratchet.
Break loose that front bolt there, and remove that.
Second bolt, same process.
We're just gonna break it loose and loosen it just enough to slide our tow hook out of
place.
All right.
Once the bolt is loose enough, you can just push the tow hook in toward the inside of
the vehicle and pull it out of place.
So once we have our tow hooks out of place, we can actually start to install our bull
bar brackets.
Now, these brackets are labeled for driver and passenger side.
You'll see a D or a P, respectively, on each bracket.
We're working on the driver side, so I've got the D bracket here.
Now, I just wanted to show you close up, the tow hook and the brackets have similar bolt
patterns of where they're gonna mount.
So we're gonna slide this over the bolt that we loosened up just enough to slide the tow
hook out.
Same thing on the bracket.
We're gonna slide that into place and tighten down the bolt right on the back there.
From there, you can install the bolt that you removed through this pre-cut hole in the
bracket.
So we're going to install this bracket sliding it over top of the bolt that's already loosened
up in there, and then we're gonna install this by hand so that it goes through the welded
nut on the bracket on the opposite side.
First step in the process, slide this bracket over that loosened up bolt.
Then, we're gonna take our other bolt and hand-tighten it into the nut that's welded
onto the bolt's bracket.
You're gonna line that up with the nut on the inside of the tow hook location and just
tighten it down by hand at first.
Once we get that as tight as we can go, grab our 15-millimeter socket and start tightening
things down.
Now that both of our bolts here and the brackets are tightened down, we're gonna do the same
thing for the opposite side.
We're doing the exact same thing for the opposite side.
Slide the bracket right over the bolt.
You might have to get down pretty low to kinda line things up with the holes and make sure
the nut is positioned properly.
Once you can feel that it is, then start tightening down the other bolt by hand.
Get that as tight as you can here, then grab our ratchet.
Tighten down that back bolt as well.
Now, with the tow hook brackets installed, we can actually start to mount our bull bar
to these brackets.
The next step in the process, you're gonna have a helping hand mount this onto the brackets
down there by the tow hooks.
You're gonna need your 18-millimeter nut, 18-millimeter bolt, 2 large flat washers,
and a lock washer to do so.
So we're gonna, first off, line it up with the holes in the bracket, bolt slides through.
We're gonna put a flat washer on the opposite side, lock washer, and then our 18-millimeter
nut.
Tighten this down by hand, and then we're gonna put a second one in our second pre-cut
hole.
Same thing for the second bolt here.
We're gonna put a flat washer over our 18-millimeter bolt.
The flat washer goes on first, the lock washer goes on second, and we're gonna cap it off
with an 18-millimeter nut.
So once you've got your bolt assembly on both of these open holes tightened down by hand,
you're gonna do the exact same thing for the other side.
Don't tighten them down too much just yet, just to make sure that you have the other
side lined up properly as well.
You can leave yourself room for a little bit of adjustment.
So we're gonna bolt down the other side by hand, and then come back and tighten everything
down once it's adjusted properly.
Flat washer through the bolt, bolt through the hole.
We're gonna do a flat washer and a lock washer on the opposite side, and then our 18-millimeter
nut tightened down by hand.
At this point, the bull bar should be holding itself into place.
So you won't need a helping hand for this part.
And our last bolt that we're gonna install here is gonna go through that second slot
with the washer, flat washer and lock washer on the other side, and then, finally, our
nut.
With that tightened down by hand, we're good to pick up our 18-millimeter socket and our
ratchet, as well as an 18-millimeter wrench, and tighten things down
Now, just one more quick note for the guys out there who are working with a truck with
a closed-in frame inside here.
Now, if that is the case, that is the truck you're working on, you will have one more
step that we did skip in our process.
You'll install some U-bolts into your closed-in frame, right above where the tow hooks are
at, before you bolt your bull bar to the brackets on the tow hook frame.
Now, we're working with a truck with an open-ended frame, so we can skip that step and go right
to bolting our bull bar down.
Just keep in mind, if you're working with a truck with a closed-in frame, you'll be
using the U-bolts included in the kit before you bolt your bull bar down.
Now, before I bolt down our 18-millimeter with our ratchet, socket, and wrench, I just
want to point out that this is exactly what it's gonna look like when it is mounted to
your truck.
Now, we will bolt it down so it will sit up a little bit higher, but this is definitely
the appearance that you're going for, which is one of the biggest points of interest.
You're getting this rugged, off-road appearance for, really, not a lot of money.
This whole kit with the bull bar and all the hardware included, just 180 bucks, making
it one of the more affordable options in that bull bar/brush guard category for your front
end.
Now, it's a really good choice for guys out there who want that small front-end protection
for their grille, the lower bumper with the added skid plate against, you know, daily
driving hazards as far as brush and road debris.
As well as, you know, small trail items like a log or a rock that you might run into when
you're off-roading.
Now, this does have a thicker, bolder appearance with the 3-inch steel ground welds for durability.
It's got a strong finish.
Definitely, one of the thicker bull bar options in the category.
And one of the reasons you keep the price down here, even with the added thickness,
is because it doesn't include integrated lights.
But it does leave you with opportunities for aftermarket auxiliary lighting.
There's plugs here for pre-drilled holes.
So if you did want to pick up aftermarket lights.
You wouldn't have to do any drilling.
All that's done for you here.
You can mount some cube lights to the inside portion of the bull bar here.
Definitely, an added bonus in my opinion.
Now that we have it bolted down by hand, I'm gonna take my 18-millimeter socket and my
ratchet and an 18-millimeter wrench, and tighten things up.
So with our ratchet and 18-millimeter socket, we're gonna mount that to the bolt head side.
The 18-millimeter wrench is gonna be on the nut side, and we're just gonna tighten things
up here.
All right.
For the second bolt here, we're switching over to a short 18-millimeter socket, getting
rid of our deep socket, just because there isn't a lot of clearance with the plastic
trim.
Once you have your short socket mounted, you can tighten this down.
And again, same thing for the opposite side.
Moving onto the opposite side, we're gonna do the same thing.
Our 18-millimeter socket and wrench, tighten these down.
With the last bolt installed, that's gonna wrap up our install here.
Now, it's really not too tough to tackle at home.
One out of three wrenches on our Difficulty Meter with very simple hand tools.
If you're thinking about picking this up for your own '04 to '14 F-150, it's a really affordable
front-end protection piece with a durable off-road appearance.
Those are the really big things to keep in mind.
You get front-end protection for your upper grill, your bumper, and the lower portion
of your front end with the added skid plate.
A hundred and eighty bucks gets you this bull bar, which is pretty affordable compared to
some of the other brush guards in the category.
If you want to get it for your own truck, you can pick it up right here at americantrucks.com.

2015-2018 F150 Heartthrob 4" Aluminized Single Side Exhaust 2.7L EcoBoost Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 11:12.
If you want one of the most affordable and most mild exhaust upgrade for your 2015 or
newer 2.7 liter EcoBoost, then the Heartthrob 4-Inch Single Side Exit Cat-Back will be your
best bet.
This OEM system will operate in modest pumpin' sound as you've just heard.
And that sound will be a bit deeper and throatier than your factory exhaust.
Now, this is a bolt-on kit but there may be some cutting required and that's gonna depend
on your cab and bed length.
So, this does get a two out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, and it should take
you about an hour or two to get the job done.
Let's talk more about that sound for a moment.
This system is Heartthrob's mildest option and it's actually one of the quietest options
that we currently sell.
So, with that in mind, I'm gonna give us some mild two out of five on our loudness meter.
That's all thanks to Heartthrob's velocity series muffler that I have with me, which
uses three baffles to tune the sound and reduce raspy notes and drone.
Now, Heartthrob says that they also double wrapped the muffler shell to keep things extra
quiet in the cab while you're not mashing on the pedal.
This will be great for the daily driver because you won't suffer any drone when you're just
cruising around.
Now, the Heartthrob kit is made out of aluminized steel.
And this is considered an entry-level steel, but that's not to say that this is a cheap
system.
It's actually still really well-made and it's actually made in the good ol' U.S. of A. So,
all the bends and welds on here are nice and consistent.
Now, if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow or rain, then just know that aluminized
steel will develop more rust over time than a stainless kit.
So, if you're concerned about that in the long run then I would look at a stainless
option instead, but that will run you a bit more in terms of cost.
And again, the Heartthrob is actually the most affordable single side exit cat-back
that's currently available for the 2.7-liter EcoBoost, coming in at just around $400.
The next step up would be pipes 4-inch single side option.
That kit uses bullets-style muffler which will be much, much louder than this one and
that's gonna include when you're just driving around on the streets.
The install is pretty easy.
It may require a simple cut to the provided tubing and that's again gonna depend on your
truck's overall length.
Now, with that said, let's go ahead and head over to our install bay and I'll show you
guys how to get this done.
Okay guys, to start this install, you need to get your truck lifted and supported in
the air.
We're gonna remove our factory cat-back system first which is actually pretty simple.
It's just two bolts connecting a flange.
The entire factory cat-back is actually one piece so we'll go ahead and show you how to
get that done.
Okay.
So, the flange that I was talking about is located right here in between where the white
pipe comes off of your factory cats and before the resonator itself.
To remove this, you just need a 13-millimeter socket end wrench.
We're gonna go ahead and use our hand tools because getting power tools in here is a little
tight.
Okay.
So, once we have our two 13-millimeter bolts removed from our factory cat-back, it's just
a matter of actually removing the unit from the truck itself.
The stock cat-back is supported by three hangers, two rank here, and one behind me.
I'm gonna go ahead and lube them up a bit so that we make sure that these connectors
can actually slide up without any difficulty.
Now that we have our isolator sprayed down and lubed up, it's time to actually pull the factory
cat-back off of those hangers so we can remove it from the vehicle.
Now, the easiest way to go about this is to have a big ol' pry bar and just go ahead and
get some leverage against the muffler, push the whole system back so that you can drop
it down and remove it from the vehicle.
For this cat-back, there might be some minor cutting required.
We're working with the 2015 truck with 144.5 inch wheel base.
So, for your instructions, let us know that we have to take 16.25 inches off of our front
extension pipe.
Now that we have our cut made to our front extension pipe, we're actually gonna bolt
it up to the vehicle.
It comes with supplied hardware which are all 14 millimeter and we're just gonna hand
tight everything so that we have enough room to play around with it.
All right now, with our front extension pipe connected, it's time to put our mid extension
pipe on as well with it provided.
So, now that we have our mid extension pipe connected to our front extension pipe with
the included clump, we're gonna go and tighten this guy down just enough so that it doesn't
slide off.
Now, the nut the end of the clamp is a 15-millimeter socket.
Up to this point, we've been supporting our front and mid extension pipes with this pull
jack.
We can just put our first hanger on and we can take our pull jack away because this will
actually start supporting it for us.
Now, that we have our extension pipes hanging, we can actually get our muffler installed.
I'm gonna go ahead and use that same pull jack to support the whole muffler while I
slide it onto this pipe.
Now that we have our muffler up on the vehicle and lined up, we're gonna put on our next
hanger.
Now, it's a little difficult getting it in here.
So, what I'm actually gonna do is take this C portion off the hanger, slide the first
half onto the muffler and then we'll slide the other half back and it will tighten everything
up.
And now that we have our second hanger in place, we can actually connect our over axle
pipe, you'll see this end is gonna slide right into the flared end on the outlet of the muffler
itself.
Now that we have our over axle pipe on, the last step is gonna be putting on our actual
tailpipe which is provided on this one.
Once you have your tailpipe plugged into your over axle pipe with the clamp, you're gonna
wanna play around with it a little bit and make sure have it in the right spot, and then
we can actually tighten it down.
That way it's gonna hold the right exit once you tighten everything else up.
Now, that we have our tailpipe on the truck, we only have to put on our last hanger.
All right, so now that we have our final hanger installed, we just have to go through and
make sure that no pipes are touching anywhere on the truck.
That way, you don't get any rattling or unnecessary drone.
Once you verify that everything is lined up well and nothing's touching, you can go back
through, tighten everything down.
All of your hangers are going to be 14 millimeters and all of your pipe clamps are going to be
15 millimeters.
So, let's go ahead and get started.
So, once you have everything tightened up, the last step is actually gonna be tightening
down the flange which connects the cat-back to the vehicle.
Now, these bolts are bit different from all the others.
These are actually 14 millimeters.
Okay.
So with that last flange tightened up, that actually wraps up our install of Heartthrob's
4-Inch clamp back for your 2.7-liter EcoBoost F-150.
Be sure to check it out more online.
And for all things F-150, keep it here at americantrucks.com.

2015-2018 F150 Husky WeatherBeater 2nd Seat Floor Liner - Full SuperCab & SuperCrew Review & Install - Duration: 3:12.
If you're looking for one of the best ways to protect your 2015 and up F-150's rear carpeting
from passengers or equipment, then Husky Weatherbeater 2nd row full coverage floor liner should be
at the top of your list. This is perfect for the owner that wants to keep their truck looking
showman fresh underneath the mats. The liner will ensure full protection of the entire
rear carpet area, even underneath the seats. Laser cut and measured ensures an easy and
quick fit. I'll be giving the install an easy 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter,
and expect it to take less than 15 minutes to get it in your truck.
The backseat carpet area takes abuse all year round from weather, equipment, and even friends
and family. The Husky liners perfect fitment won't allow any liquids, dirt, dust, and crumbs
from splashing out over the side and staining your carpet. Husky also imprinted deep grooves
and lines into the liner for added grip when stepping into the liner. It even extends underneath
your rear seats for those accidental drink spills or for when you need to fold the seats
up to maximize storage. To get this perfect fit, Husky measures the F-150s with lasers
to ensure perfect measurements when cutting the liners.
Husky goes with our own patented rubber material. What that means for you is an extremely durable
strong and long lasting liner. The underside liner also incorporates what Husky calls StayPut
Cleats. This will grip into your carpet so the liner will not move. It's guaranteed to
last the life of your truck without cracking or breaking. And Husky will back that with
a lifetime warranty. When it's time to clean, remove the liner and spray it down with some
soap and water, and let dry. There're a ton of options in the floor mat section, but I
believe that Husky liner is going to be one of the best options for total protection,
and at a price just south of a a hundred bucks, it's definitely one of the most expensive
options out there. But you get what you pay for, you're getting full protection without
any compromises. You could save some money if you were to go with the universal floor
mat, and there are other options for rear liners, but they're actually a few bucks more
for the same functionality.
Again, this is gonna be super easy, one out of three wrenches on the difficult meter. This
is gonna take less than 15 minutes once you get it out of the box, and there are no tools
required. Your first step is going to be to pull up your seats here, and then we're gonna
remove any carpeting or floor mats you currently have. And just like the other seat, just lift
up, push it out of your way. With both of the rear seats up, just take your carpeted
floor mats and pull them out of your truck. So now, with your rear area all clear, you're
gonna take Husky's liner and you're gonna place it in.
The StayPut Cleats you see at the bottom, they're gonna grip your carpet so it does
not slide around. And this liner is measured and cut specifically for your truck. So we
just gotta get it in. So press down. Goes around the middle underneath the seats. And
now with your liner in place all you have to do is pull the latch underneath your seat
and fold it down, and then now with this seat pull the latch down, fold your seat down.
And that's gonna wrap up our install. You could check this out and more at americantrucks.com.
