S. Korea's foreign minister promises to safely bring home abducted S. Korean crewmen - Duration: 0:35.

The government will spare no effort to make sure the Korean nationals kidnapped in waters

off the coast of Ghana are safely brought home.

That's according to the nation's top diplomat... who explained the foreign ministry is closely

working with Ghana, Nigeria, the U.S. and the EU to locate the crewmen.

It has been over a week since the three people were abducted by pirates,... prompting President

Moon Jae-in to send a naval destroyer to waters near the region.

The warship is set to reach its destination on April 16th, but authorities still have

no information on the abductors and their demands.

Are UFOs Responsible For Animal Mutilations? - Duration: 10:53.

Hello, Heathcliff here with Lions Ground.

The world is full of mysterious things

like the mysterious death of animal species

in large groups

to the disappearance of animals.

From whales and dolphins washed up

on the beach

streets covered with a black layer

of birds that are lying lifeless

to frightening animal mutilations.

In 1975 Democratic senator

Floyd K. Haskell

asked the FBI help for a serious problem,

namely Cattle Mutilation.

According to the New Mexico State Police

an estimated 8,000 Cattle mutilations

in Colorado

alone

and this pulls through in nine other states.

When I see pictures of cows

where it seems

that pieces of their bodies are cut away

with a laser

which you always see in movies.

Here you can see

that half of the face is just gone.

Who is responsible for and why?

In a National Geographic documentary

it is suggested that extraterrestrial beings

are responsible for this.

But in a letter from

Floyd Haskell to

Special Agent Theodore Rosack

it is said that a helicopter

was chasing people.

"For several months my office

has been receiving

reports of cattle mutilations throughout Colorado

and other western states.

At least 130 CASES in Colorado alone

have been reported to local officials

and the Colorado

Bureauu of Investigation (CHI).

The CHI has verified that

the incidents have occured

for the last 2 years in nine states.

The ranchers and rural residents of Colorado

are concerned and frightened by these incidents.

The bizarre mutilations are frightening

in themselves

in virtually all the cases, the

left ear, left eye, rectum and

sex organ of each animal

has been cut away and the blood

drained from the carcass

but with no traces of blood left on the ground

and no footprints.

In Colorado's Morgan County area

there has also been reports that a helicopter was used

by those who mutilated the carasses

of the cattle, and several persons have reported

being chased by a similar helicopter.

Because I am gravely concerned by this situation

I am asking that the FBI enter the case.

Although the CBI has been investigating

the incidents, and local officials also have been

involved, the lack of central unified

direction has frustrated the investigation.

It seems to have progressed little

except for the recognition

at long last

that the incidents must be taken seriously.

Now it appears that ranchers

are arming themselves

to protect their livestock

as well as their

families and themselves

because they are frustrated

by the unsuccessful investigation.

Clearly something must be done

before someone gets hurt."

My input.

I agree that in an investigation

you first have to exhaust all options

but a helicopter produces a lot of noise

or you fly in an "Airwolf"

and you do not rent a helicopter as an ordinary

person, it's pretty pricey.

If I look at the mutilations

and I would give this a natural explanation

then this is done

with a knife what they use in surgeries.

But to mutilate a whole flock

takes an enormous amount of time.

Besides that

how do you explain that no single

drop of blood has been spilled?

And all that, when it's dark, outside.

The animals must have suffered

a lot of pain because the mutilations

are mostly in private

parts of the body.

In an autopsy report on these animals

it became clear that there are traces of

ATROPINE INSECTICIDE

enough to put a large animal

like a bull in a coma for a couple of hours.

Samples from the animal's liver

were found to be completely devoid of copper

and to contain

4 times the normal level of zinc

potassium

and phosphorus.

The scientists performing the analysis

were unable to explain these anomalies.

Blood samples taken at the scene

were reported to be "light pink in color"

and "Did not

clot after several days"

while the animal's hide was found

to be unusually brittle for

a fresh death

(the animal was estimated to

have been dead for 5 hours) and the flesh

underneath was found to be discolored.

It is theorized who can be responsible

for this here such as Satanists or aliens.

Then another mystery ...

On April 2, an article appeared on

EARTHFILES

a website that pays attention to

Earth and astronomical mysteries.

Linda Moulton Howe

the owner of this blog shared an email

from a feeder.

A person feeding birds by placing

food containers.

In the email, it's saying that

Anna Hummingbirds

have disappeared spontaneously.

"The 40 Anna Hummingbirds

that swarmed my feeders every morning

& evening are gone,

gone, gone.

I haven't seen one in a month.

I do have four of the small

migrating Hummingbirds

that arrived, but that is all, and by now

there should be at least 20 or more.

There is definitely something amiss.

I usually see a mob of

yellow finches at my

seed-eater feeder

and so far I've seen

only one.

What explains that?

My gut is still telling me there's something

afoot, and I still can't get a major disaster,

like an earthquake, out of my guard."

Could this have to do with

the Rogue Valley earthquakes?

It could be possibly linked with each other

according to an article on Earthfiles.

Animals can respond to earth's impulses.

There is a website that is called

Ebird.org

a database where reports are made of birds.

There is indeed a low number of

Anna's Hummingbird.

The blog "Shorelineareanews.com"

covered a story about this with a possible

explanation

why feeders do not see Anna's.

"What you are probably noticing is the

lack of females drinking the nectar.

Right now, many of our local female

Anna's are on nests

and starting to feed their nestlings.

One of the reasons that Anna's can

survive here year-round is because

the Anna's Hummingbird

eat more bugs (think tiny) daily

than any other North American hummingbird.

Female Anna's only feed their nestlings

regurgitated bugs by sticking their long bill

down the throats of their young

(It's really quite a frightful sight

the first time you

see the mother feeding her nestlings.)

While they are feeding their young

they are also eating enough bugs for themselves.

Another part of the picture is

that a female on a nest, when she does

want some nectar,

will usually start using the closest

nectar feeder, instead of visiting

all the neighborhood

feeders as both the males and females

do the rest of the year.

I have one feeder back near

tall evergreens

that every year about this time goes down

faster than any other time of the year.

That also means that my other

feeder goes down much more slowly

slowly, in fact,

that I sometimes think the feeder

isn't being used.

Then, almost at dark,

I will see a handsome

male gulping down nectar until the feeder

burps an air bubble.

Maybe the reason it is so hard

to notice the males drinking nectar is

that the males tend

to dart in, often staying on the wing

whereas the females will usually

perch while drinking

thus making their stops longer,"

says the website.

Ornithologist Cliff Shackelford

says not to worry.

The sky is not falling.

There is no decline in the number

of hummingbirds," he says.

"We get these calls every year."

And that's right, every year

from 2010 there is a report of a

drop of Anna's sightings

by feeders.

Whether or not aliens are responsible

for the mutilation of the animals

is not proven.

It is a very difficult task for a person

to do this in a nighttime but

not impossible.

There is also no evidence that

man is responsible for this.

If predators are responsible for this

why is there no proof?

When a type of bird is missing

does not mean nationwide

or is it?

Strong COLD Front To Bring Severe Weather. Weather News Today with J7409 4-4-2018 - Duration: 13:28.

And a good day to each and every one of you today of course Wednesday the 4th of

April 2018 time for weather news today with j7409 the name you know the news

you can use yes we did have some severe thunderstorm activity yesterday some of

it brought in quarter sized hail high winds damaging winds from Texas all the

way up to Indiana and across right now this is looking at the latest model run

of the gfs courtesy of tropical tidbits and it looks like more of that severe

rain wind is going to be passing to the East Coast today along with a little

snow here and there so let's turn it on here we go now that cold front that

brought that round of severe weather to areas from the Ohio Valley Southeast

Texas yesterday it will continue pressing eastward today now the line of

showers and thunderstorms will stretch from the Northeast to the central Gulf

Coast today the severe weather aspect of the system will continue however though

maybe not quite as intense as yesterday with a small portion of the coastal

mid-atlantic under a slight risk of the more intensified thundershowers now

precipitation will begin moving offshore by this evening with showers continuing

mainly in New England and Florida by late tonight all precipitation will come

to an end in addition strong winds are expected

ahead of the front across the mid-atlantic and northeast

thus wind advisories are in effect across these regions today and boy the

winds are going to below now active weather is going to continue throughout

this short term period across the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West

upper-level energy along with the influx of moisture is going to be bringing

showers and high at the higher elevations

initially to the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies today and by tomorrow

and impressive flux of moisture along with a frontal system approaching the

Pacific Northwest will bring another round of precipitation this time

extending southward into Northern California showers and higher elevation

snow will also begin to move farther south and to the central Rockies by

tomorrow night and by Friday snow showers will spread across the

western portions of the northern and central plains I don't know if you

remember but just the other day I showed you all of those systems that were

coming in the West and sure enough they are and they're going to bring high

winds may be some severe fund shower activity and snow this is going to go on

for days off and on people just like the temperatures I mean this morning I woke

up is 69 70 degrees at my house tonight it should be in the thirties tomorrow it

should be in the 50s just like we've been talking about here off and on all

winter and spring so all of this stuff is happening people the winds are very

very strong today let me go check some of this out for you so you will be

prepared because these winds that in these areas I'm going to show you

they're going to be blowing sustained 30 40 maybe 45 miles per hour but the wind

gusts could be 60 and 70 even a little higher in places miles per hour

that's going to cause trees to come down powerlines to come down and some people

may have some power outages so let's go check that out now as we take a quick

look at the warning and advisory map and watches map from the National Weather

Service okay most of New York most of central Pennsylvania some parts up here

of southern Maine and New Hampshire and also as we come down right into this

area Eastern New York and Western New England areas everywhere it's kind of

this goldish Brown you folks have a wind warning it's not an advisory it's not a

watch you're going to have some powerful winds today and the wind's blowing at my

house nothing like it's got to blow up there right now but it's really pretty

good right now around 30 35 at my house and I'm all the way down here and I

don't have any kind of warning so you folks up in this area the wind is going

to blow like I said possibly with gusts of 60 and 70 your sustained winds are

going to be anywhere from 30 40 maybe 45 there is this chance before power lunch

to come down trees to fall down and there is a chance you could lose power

so please keep this in mind and if you have a high profile vehicle you know

it's gonna be kind of nasty kinda driving in this wind situation so we

still have our winter weather warnings in the pink up here in Wisconsin all the

way down here a little part of central Iowa's we come over here to Northeast

Michigan wherever it's pink this is your winter storm warnings and this of course

is your advisories still got that snow going on this snows going to move across

also we got some snow coming up it's going to be coming up into the northern

Ohio region later on this week shouldn't be a big snowstorm like in the winter

but yes snow still going on people New York you might still get some too so

this is what it's looking like this is just freeze and frost warnings how the

temperatures going to be so warm and then foam it's not gonna be that warm

don't put away you winter coach yet checking out this for my friends in West

Virginia this is about three miles northwest of sin trailer West Virginia

you see you've got a hundred percent chance of showers overnight now as the

day progresses that rain will come down from 80 to 20% and then you

know by Thursday you should have a pretty decent day with a high of 50 but

then boom BAM looky here coming in for the weekend 70%

chance of rain and snow and your high is going to be 39 your low for Saturday

night should be 22 for my friends in the state of New York this is for New York

New York look here okay you're going to have some

showers and fog today you see that wind advisory is up for you guys but as we

move along Friday you do have a 60% chance of some rain and some snow and

then it should just turn to rain Thursday night you might have some snow

showers coming down at 40% don't expect any intense accumulation but this

doesn't stop right on through Friday night you still got that rain and snow

going on at 40 to 50% chance and then on Saturday it increases to 60 to 50 right

on through Saturday night by late Saturday night it should all be off the

coast and you should have partly cloudy skies and your low for Saturday should

be 33 your low for Friday night 39 your low for tomorrow night 34 you see how it

goes folks back down into the 30s for nighttime temperatures and in the 50s

and 40s during the day today is probably going to be the last warmest day you've

got for a few days to come for all my friends in Columbus Ohio you still have

that wind advisory going on today the wind is going to be all up and down the

East Coast so please be prepared for it now as we move along war you're gonna

have some cold nighttime temperatures by tomorrow well by tonight rather by

tonight it should be 28 degrees your high today should be around 41 Thursday

night low of 38 and Friday night a low of 28 again and you do have a 40 to 30%

chance of rain and it's probably going to be starting now

it is rain on Friday just like this is showing but it's probably gonna turn

over to snow but don't expect a lot of accumulation you may have a small amount

but not a lot but so far as your wind goes today

your sustained winds are going to be anywhere from 20 to 25 and it's looking

like you could have gust as high as 45 to 50 miles per hour checking out the

name model for the forecast throughout the next few hours as we can see right

now this is set as put it at around 8 a.m. this morning we'll see what it's

looking like the center of course of this low-pressure that's bringing all

these rain showers up and down from North all the way down to Texas it's

located right around in here this morning bringing snow to other areas

most of snows going to move up into the Canadian Maritimes and looking like

Maine Northern Maine's got some snow at this time along with some sleet and some

freezing rain and then it all turns to rain so this is around 8 a.m. this

morning what to expect we will move it up to 2:00 p.m. this afternoon these

showers should start to move off the coast and it looks like they are will

move to a realm 10 p.m. tonight we see this other system coming in as I showed

you the other day we have another one that will come in behind this one so

everybody be aware of that bringing some little snowflake showers to different

stage from West Virginia all the way up to New York parts of New England let's

go to tomorrow morning around 7 a.m. everything looks better clear out

Chester scragga love snow in New York but we do have some freezing rain in

South Dakota along with snow and rain and we got that snow and remix in Idaho

and mostly snow in Montana with rain and snow in Washington State moving along to

lunchtime tomorrow here we go 9 p.m. Thursday night see this big old systems

plowing on through bringing more snow to everybody and we will go to 2 a.m.

Friday and far as we can go is 8 a.m. Friday morning and that should bring

mostly rain to southern New Jersey with some snow possibly I'm not gonna bank on

it yet we got to wait and see what the temperatures did possibly a little snow

in northern New Jersey looking like snow in Pennsylvania mostly rain in southern

New Jersey with rain back again in Texas Oklahoma Arkansas and snow coming down

all the way through as you can see in the in the western part from that system

with some rain and some snow mixture here in California and that's gonna wrap

it up for today if I see anything come up that you need to pay attention to

I'll put it up in a weather alert for the most part everybody stays safe Wow

how about what happened at YouTube yesterday the latest report that I've

heard early this morning was now there was four people total and that got hurt

one is still in critical condition two were shot but they're not in critical

condition they should be ok and of course the shooter was a female and

she's dead she died apparently of a self-inflicted wound crazy things going

on people crazy things every day so just be aware of what's around you with the

How To Start YouTube Gaming Channel - Star Wars Battlefront 2 PS4 - Duration: 11:04.

Hook So you wanna be youtube famous? You want to

make it big and be rolling in the benjamins just by playing video games. Lets talk about

starting a gaming channel.

Intro Welcome back, and today we're talking about

a question i get asked alot. how to start a gaming youtube channel. I'm a pro at this,

because I'm just faking it till I make it 3 times a week and hoping whatever I did last

night registers with viewers because I'm really too tired to remember what I recorded

and preying i just don't completely fail while live streaming. I think it's going

well. The hardest part is getting started and finding your voice, so let's leave your

dignity and pride at the door, those things aren't welcome here!

In the comments, tell me if you have ever thought of making a channel, and if you have

a friend who always talks about starting one, or has tried, share this with them, i'm

sure they'll thank you.

Before we get into it though, make sure to hit that like button if this is at least somewhat

interesting to you, and then subscribe because the struggle is real. New videos release M/W/F

and streams on T/Th at 8 pm central.

Let's get into it.

So before we get into starting the channel here is what you will need. A console to play

on, or pc, a computer of some kind to do edits on and a mic of some kind to record you're

voice with. You hopefully already have all of this. If you're on Xbox or PS4 you can

record your gameplay on the ps4 or xbox and transfer it by usb to the computer. Do not

go out and buy a ton of equipment until you are sure this is something your really willing

to put the work into.

On your computer, download the following programs i'll provide a link to all of these in the

description, Windows Movie Maker, free, audasity, free, and voice meter, free. These are the

only programs you need to produce a video without any bells and whistles, again if you

decide this is something you really want to do than you should think about spending some

money for more advanced programs. Movie Maker is your video editor, audasity will allow

you to record your audio and edit it easily, and voice meter will make any mic you already

have sound better. When it comes to making a thumbnail, you need some sort of photo editor.

You can simple use paint, or if you purchased a really old version of photoshop you might

want to go download Cs2 from adobe's website or you can use Pixlr Editor.

Once you decide this is something you really want to do, you can get some nice equipement

like elgato, which costs $60, a blue snowball microphone, which costs about 75$, and adobe

photoshop and premrie elements, a more basic version of the full version and much cheaper,

$99. If you want to stream off your PC or record using the elgato you may need to upgrade

your computer, so $900 or so depending how high end you want to get.

Getting Started

Let me start by saying youtube is not something super easy. You will need to do alot of work,

and I mean alot of work. Got a full time job or school? Cool, you now have 2 jobs. Friends

want to go to a movie? Nope, gotta work on a video, want to watch tv? Nope, gotta work

on a video. Want to play the video game that the channels about? Nope, got enough footage

to edit. Want to go to sleep? Your video is due in 2 hours, don't think so. This is

not for a faint of heart and wont be super easy like you may think. Also if you want

to make it rich on the youtube, there's probably easier ways to do it.

Step one of making a video game channel is to find a game you really enjoy playing, and

I mean really really enjoy playing. Like every waking minute thinking about, planning or

playing like. You don't even have to really be good at the game you're choosing, but

you need to enjoy your time while you play it. For me, right now anyway, this is Star

Wars Battlefront 2. Got it? Not yet? It's ok, this is just the easiest part, take your

time.

Step two, now that you've selected a game, you need to decide what you want to focus

on. Do you want to be an epic plays type channel, highlighting all of your bright spots? Do

you really get enough of these to sustain that type of channel? Didn't think so, we'll

put that on the back burner for a no video day. Do you want to be a stats channel? Trust

me, there's only so much you can really do with that unless they keep releasing new content

quickly. Another video idea. Do you want to be a self help channel, tips and tricks or

news? Yep, not enough there either.

Let me save you a ton of thinking, don't worry to much about it, get a general idea

of your primary goal and then you need to come up with some secondary ideas. None of

these are going to last forever and then one tuesdaynight / wendseday morning it'll be

3 am, you have to work in 5 hours and your video's scheduled to be release in 3 hours

and you'll be sitting in your room trying to think of what your video going to be on.

Not that I know from experience.

Step 3 You need a kick ass name, like really kick ass. Not just your gamer tag and then

the system at the end because apparently your gamertag is pretty widely used and that channel

name is already taken. Now that you have a name that is so identifiable everyone you

tell it to will be able to find you after 3-4 search attempts, we move on to the most

important part.

Step 4, The Schedule. The one thing youtube and people love is a schedule. When can you

reliabile put out videos each week? I'll give you a second to think about it. Did you

come up with 2-3 days a week to release videos? Cool, good starting number, going to be a

long, slow growth, but it's doable. Alright now that we have the day's, lets say M/W/F,

what time do you want to release the video? There's a lot that goes into this, but I choose

6am since that's when I wake up, which lets me stress about numbers all day. Alright,

now you have your deadlines, every M/W/F at 6 am you need to have a video ready to roll.

Wanna take a week off? Not for awhile, not if you wanna keep in favor of the youtube

search gods.

Step 5 Production Now hopefully your orginized, and if not I

recommend getting orginized quick fast and in a hurry. Let's start on our first video.

You need a video Idea, the first month was probably the easiest, I had a ton of ideas

I wanted to do. Got an idea? Cool, lets write that script. Oh, you don't need a script?

I hope you like editting sound files, because thats about to be your whole life without

one. A 3-4 page script, which is a about 8 minutes with the speed I talk, takes about

an hour to hour and a half depending on how flushed out the idea is in my head. Now that

we got the script, lets record the audio, now i'll talk about the programs I use here

in a second, but lets say your video is going to be 8 minutes long, thats about 12 minutes

of talking before you start cutting. Then we need to edit it down to remove awkward

breaths and mistakes, which is about double the time it took to record since you're

going to make mistakes here, lets say 24 minutes. Then we need to listen to the editted audio

to make sure no mistakes, anouther 8 minutes if it's a good day.

Hopefully you've been recording a ton of footage while you play so that way you have

a ton to pull from to get what your talking about to line up. Editing down a game to just

the lives and decent parts probablly takes another hour if you're trying to make an

8 minute video. The more you want to video to match the audio the longer this is going

to take. And if you want to add any overlays or picture in pictures, thats anouther 10

minutes to make each one, so lets say your adding at least 1 in there.

Now that we got the video edited down and the audio recorded, we're about ½ way done.

Next we put the video and audio together and watch it to make sure it makes sense and adjust

audio levels so you're not drowned out by the background noise, this takes as long as

your video is. So 8 minutes in this case. Next we need to go in and make any minor adjustments

to make the audio and video match even more, so about 30 minute, this will include transitions.

Now that all thats done, lets watch it all together for the finished product, another

8 minutes. Finally video is done, time to upload, this you can start and leave, since

depending what format you saved it, it can take forever. Or you would work on your thumbnail,

which takes about an hour, if you have an idea of what you want, longer if not.

Now that it's been uploaded, we go in and change all of youtubes settings and this is

going to take another 30 minutes. All together, this one 8 minute video can take about 5hours

and 39 minutes. Doing 3 a week, that's 16 hours and 59 minutes of just working on videos

a week, not including time to film gameplay

to go along with it.

5 UNUSUAL HACKS ON SPLATOON 1 - Duration: 4:38.

A few weeks ago, I told you about new hacks sprouting

on Splatoon 2 lately.

But when we're dealing with hacking, many viewers react about it in commentary

and share their concern about the future of Splatoon 2 and

the threat of those new hacks.

So, in this video, we are going to come back on Splatoon 1

and take a look at some pretty recent hacks

which are both interesting to know and really fun to watch.

Well, let's go for five unusual hacks in Splatoon 1.

Since the game was released, many players try to get out of the playable areas

of the map.

Some use glitches and try to reach some areas

usually unattainable.

And there are other crafty ones who use hacks,

thanks to hacks that enable you to fly and even to go beyond the borders

of a map without being splatted.

So, some people manage to explore the different maps of the game without any boundary,

and they can go here and there and get all the little hidden details

in every arena of the game.

Well, speaking of arenas, these new hacks go even further. Some people

managed to create a map editor on Splatoon 1

and to add some extra features on the existing maps of the game.

I already talked about it in a previous video and, you know, almost everything is possible,

the Splatoon 1 maps can be totally customized

so that hackers can even insert

their own maps.

And these maps can be really insane or some already existing in other games

and put in Splatoon.

Fo example: Zelda, Mario Odyssey or here you can see a map from the

Spongebob Squarepants universe.

Anyway, everything is possible.

Some players even manage to create some private games on Inkopolis Plaza

or its various shops.

So, there is no limit to what's possible to do with the Splatoon 1 arenas.

But of course, the arenas are not the only things hackers manage

to change.

Let's talk about objects, and especially the ones

hackers managed to insert.

Surprisingly, those objects can also come from Splatoon 2.

There are maps, obviously, as I said earlier.

But those smart heads succeeded in bringing Splatoon 2 weapons

in Splatoon 1, and in recreating the different haircuts from the second game,

even though they were not available in

the first game.

And there is more to that: from the moment you can modify the objects

of the game, well, I can tell you hackers didn't limit themselves to

gears and haircuts, but they tried to replace

the weapons and gears with different objects.

We can talk about one very funny sequence in which the weapons are

replaced with actual characters from the game.

We can see someone throwing burst bombs but all the bombs

are replaced with Spyke.

The other bombs can also be replaced with Cuttlefish.

Anyway, you got it, right?

At this point, everything is possible, and if you don't expect to see this,

it can be really fun to see and experience!

And finally, in addition to these objects, well, the characters can be modified

as well.

You know, by inserting external 3D models in the game, some people

managed to modify their appearance.

It was quite possible back then with the Octoling hack which enabled you to

look like them, but now it's even bigger, you can play characters

from other games or medias once put in Splatoon, and once again,

this kind of hack is really something you don't expect and so it really makes you

smile.

Anyway, you may experienced it, hacking in Splatoon 1 got out of control.

Some people use it in Private Battles but others

also use it online.

Unfortunately, Nintendo is quite powerless regarding hacking

because the banishments are useless.

These hackers know how to unban themselves.

A lot of people hope that these hacks won't be possible in

Splatoon 2 so that it won't alter the game experience.

Of course, we keep our fingers crossed and hope that hacking in Splatoon 2 won't

get any bigger, and we also hope that those people who are able to create those

crafty programs won't share them that much so that it won't fall

in the wrong hands like it did in

the first Splatoon.

2009-2014 F150 Rough Country 2" Leveling Strut Extensions - 2WD & 4WD Review & Install - Duration: 3:04.

Rough Country's 2-inch leveling strut extensions are for the 2009 to '14 2-wheel drive and

4-wheel drive F-150 owners that want one of the most affordable ways to raise the front

of their truck to remove the raked factory stance, while also fitting up to 35-inch tires.

These extensions will fit right on top of your struts to raise your truck's body without

compromising performance.

The lifted ride height not only makes for a tougher looking rig overall but will also

allow your F-150 to be more capable off-road on the job site or wherever with the increased

ground clearance.

This is a bolt-on install with everything included, but because of the more involved

design, I'm gonna be giving this two out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

And expect it to take about three hours to complete.

The strut spacers are cast from T6061 billet aircraft aluminum that is very durable and

will hold up to corrosion without issue.

They'll be bolted on top of the front struts for quick and easy install.

This is going to increase your ground clearance and allow more space for bigger wheels and

tires.

You've probably seen other options on the site, like polyurethane and steel spacers,

and if you're wondering if there's any real difference or performance difference between

them, not really.

It really comes down to personal preference on material and finish.

But once installed, these won't be visible, so it doesn't really matter that much anyway.

At just under a 100 bucks for the kit with everything needed to get these extensions

installed, this is currently one of the most affordable and easiest ways to remove that

rake stance on your F-150.

This is gonna give you more ground clearance and it's gonna fit up to 35-inch tires.

It's a great kit for the guys that want a simple leveling kit that will allow for those

bigger tires while keeping your stock ride quality.

This kit will save you hundreds compared to our bigger, more involved lifts.

Again, this is slightly more involved than a typical bolt-on, but because no major modification

is needed, I'm giving this two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.

And expect it to take about two to three hours.

The only tools you'll need is a ratchet and socket set, a rubber mallet, a jack and jack

stands, or a lift.

First step is to get the truck in the air and take off the front two tires.

Remove the lower sway bar and linked hardware with sockets.

Now, loosen upper ball joint nut and upper strut mount nuts and separate the ball joints.

Use a mallet against the spindle to separate the joint.

From here, you can remove the upper ball joint nut and lower top strut hardware to remove

the strut.

Now, install your new Rough strut extension using the included hardware to be attached

to the top of the strut to the vehicle.

Then, reconnect the bottom and torque to spec.

You may need a jack and pry bar to attach the upper ball joint to the spindle.

And then, attach the sway bar end link and then put the wheel back on.

And then, repeat the same steps for the other side.

After both sides are done, put the wheels back on, lower the truck onto the tires, and

you're ready to test out your new lift.

That's my review and install on Rough Country's two-inch leveling strut extensions.
