Trent Alexander-Arnold revels in coming-of-age performance against Manchester City

Trent Alexander-Arnold proclaimed Liverpools 3-0 win over Man City was the stuff dreams are made of following a magnificent individual performance.

The Reds enjoyed one of their greatest wins of the 21st century on Wednesday night, comprehensively defeating City in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Despite every single player doing themselves proud, it was Alexander-Arnold who was the standout choice for Man of the Match, after a perfect display at right-back.

There had been question marks surrounding both his form and place in the team before the game, after recent defensive errors had led to goals against Man United and Crystal Palace.

The 19-year-old responded with the best 90 minutes of his career, however, winning four tackles, eight duels and making 10 clearances.

He admits it was a special night representing his boyhood team, on what was still just his 36th appearance for the club.

It's up there with the best ones, Alexander-Arnold told Liverpoolfc.

It's always good to be involved in special nights like that at Anfield.

It's the stuff dreams are made of; you dream of it as a kid growing up wanting to play in these types of games.

I was grateful for the opportunity and the manager's trust to put me out there in such an important game for the whole club.

The fans were behind us, it was an unbelievable atmosphere and the performance goes down to them in the end.

Speaking about dealing with the horribly dangerous Leroy Sane—something Alexander-Arnold did admirably—he modestly added: Sane is a top-quality player.

He's probably one of the best wingers in the league, if not the world.

He was a really tough opponent.

It goes down to the likes of [Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] Ox, Gini [Wijnaldum] when he came on, Mo [Salah] and [Jordan Henderson] Hendo for helping me.

If you're left one-on-one with such a talented winger you're going to get caught out.

Alexander-Arnold touched upon the Germans approach to the match, with intensity and positivity essential to gaining a positive result.

The two games we've had at Anfield, the 4-3 and this one, that's what we've done best—put them under pressure—and they couldn't really cope with it on both occasions.

We used that to our advantage and tried to do the same again..

Nights like these should be treasured by Liverpool supporters, and it is a further sign of the progress being made under Klopp.

Admittedly, the Reds still have a lot of work to do in second leg—City will come out fighting, and are certain to up their game at home—but they have one foot in the Champions League semi-final.

Alexander-Arnold has played a huge part in Liverpool getting into this position, and it may end up being seen as an evening when he came of age.

dr. Lewis added that although the committee debated the possibility of a

nuclear attack by the hands of the North Korean dictator they came to the

conclusion a strike would be unlikely he said the main conclusion we reached is

that although ruthless and inhumane this dictator is nevertheless rational and

he's fully able to appreciate that if he did unleash a nuclear attack either on

his neighbours of the United States that would lead to the annihilation of his

own regime and that would be the polar opposite of their aim of regime survival

than other communist dictators in the past who have been successfully

contained and deterred in the course of Cold War history according to the

committee's report published on Thursday it is obvious to North Korea that

launching such weapons would lead inescapably to devastating military

is far more likely that the UK will continue to suffer from reckless North

Korean cyber attacks such as when a curry on account of the regime's utter

Why We Need a New Unemployment Rate - Duration: 4:08.

One of the most important measures of economic health is the unemployment rate.

Behind this single number are millions of people looking for a new way to make a living.

It also helps us shape effective policies.

The Federal Reserve uses it to steer the economy.

Jobs are often the defining political issue for Congress and the president.

That's why having an accurate measure of joblessness is really important, otherwise

these policies will be badly targeted.

Problem is, the official unemployment rate doesn't give us a full picture of the job

market's health.

Luckily, we can use a survey the government already conducts to fix it.

All we have to do is listen to what people are already telling us.

Ok, so why is calculating unemployment so hard—just add up everyone who doesn't have

a job, right?

Well that rate would currently be about 40%--that's higher than in the Great Depression.

So that seems off--and it's because if that were our method we'd be counting students,

retirees, people with disabilities, and a bunch of others who aren't looking for a

job.

What we're really interested in is the rate of involuntary joblessness: the amount of

people who don't have a job but wish they did.

So how do we know who wants a job?

Well, we ask them!

Each month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics surveys sixty thousand households to gather

a bunch of information about the job market.

The answers to this survey determine the official unemployment rate you hear reported in the

news.

This is sometimes called the 'headline' rate--or in official econ-speak: the "U-3

rate" Here's how it works:

If you have a job, you're counted as employed.

Easy peasy.

Don't have job?

Well, you're not unemployed yet.

One follow-up: Are you actively seeking a job?

If the answer to both of those is yes, then you are unemployed under the official definition.

Together, the employed and unemployed form the labor force.

The number of unemployed is divided by the labor force and BOOM--that's U-3, the official

unemployment rate.

But remember: many people aren't in the labor force.

They're in a third group you might have never heard of called the inactive.

The inactive is a large part of the population--and it's mostly those students, retirees, and

others who don't want a job.

But thanks to the same survey, we know some of the people included here do want a job—

they've just stopped actively looking.

And because of that, the U-3 doesn't count them.

The BLS knows the U-3 rate isn't perfect, so there's also a U-4 rate, which has a

broader measure of unemployment.

For this rate, the BLS adds in people who have stopped looking for work because of problems

in the job market.

There's even a U-5 rate, which adds in anyone who stopped looking for personal reasons,

like illness, or issues with transportation.

But all these rates leave some people who want a job still counted as inactive.

Now there is one more measure, U-6.

It adds in part time workers who want full-time jobs.

But adding in these workers muddies the issue of joblessness.

And remember, joblessness is what we're really interested in measuring.

So U-3-4-5 don't count everyone who wants a job, and U-6 confuses the idea of joblessness.

That's why we need a new, Goldilocks rate, the one that's juuuusst right.: Call it

the comprehensive jobless rate, or U-5b in econ-speak.

This unemployment rate is very simple: it counts every person who says they want a job

and is able to work.

Importantly, it also counts the people who gave up looking for work a long time ago,

which the other measures ignore.

In other words, the U-5b fully captures involuntary joblessness for the first time.

The difference in rate may seem small, but it reflects millions of people.

With this rate, not only would we have a better sense of the health of the job market—and

our economy—but we could also craft more effective job policies.

Joanna podkreśla, że fotografia jest sztuką i można jej używać na wielu płaszczyznach – do utrwalania ważnych wydarzeń w życiu,

Dla mnie to jest dziwne, ponieważ mamy tak łatwy dostęp do pornografii, do rzeczy, które są bardziej szokujące,

a nadal ludzi szokuje naga dziewczyna, gdzie ta nagość jest jakoś zakryta, niepełna, nieoczywista.

Nagość jest naturalna, nie powinniśmy się tego wstydzić,

oczywiście jeśli dana sesja czy projekt jest robiony ze smakiem – mówi Joanna.

Majstrak podkreśla, że nie wstydzi się swojego ciała.

Nie ma też oporów, by stanąć przed obiektywem zupełnie nago.

Ma na swoim koncie sesje m.in. do „CKM-u" i „Playboya".

Żadnego projektu nie żałuje i ma apetyt na więcej.

Głównie spotykam się z pozytywnymi komentarzami, jeżeli ktoś do mnie pisze, to tylko w pozytywnym kontekście.

Jeżeli dostawałabym komentarze negatywne, to może bardziej bym się zastanowiła, czy warto to robić,

ale jeśli dostaję pozytywne i później za tym idą różne propozycje zawodowe, to nie zamierzam przestać tego robić - zapewnia.

Andrew Zimmern Cooks: Vegetable Lentil Curry - Duration: 3:20.

Okay José Andrés, challenge accepted. #RecipeForDisaster. My choice?

I'm gonna do an inspirational recipe based on just having whatever sort of

scrap vegetables you have lying around and nutritious legume like lentils. We're

gonna make a wholesome, nutritious meal that is nutrient-dense and perfect for a

time that you need a quick instant recharge on the cheap. So the first thing

that I'm gonna do, I'm gonna stick my oil into my preheated pot. I'm gonna start

sweating some onion, some fennel.

I'm gonna do some carrot. I have garlic and I

have ginger. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take a little paring knife and I'm

just gonna split them. When it comes to

ginger, we're gonna do the same thing. And

all I want to do is stir these and start to get some color on my onions and

vegetables. Let's slice some chili in there.

Salt. I'm just gonna add like cup

and a half of lentils and once my

lentils go in, that means I'm gonna add

liquids pretty soon, so now I can add my

garam masala, my chili flake, my curry

powder. Because if I had added those earlier, they would scorch and burn in the oil

that those vegetables are getting. Everyone in the studio stood up and took

notice the minute that that heat hit that curry powder, that wonderful aroma

is everywhere. And I'm gonna add four

cups of stock. I'm going to add a cup of

chickpeas. Lentils take about 30-40 minutes to cook, tops. If you cover it,

you're not going to get any liquid evaporation or as much, which is fine. I'm

going to add about half a cup of tomato puree. I like

the acidity, I like what it does color wise.

And I'm gonna add some spinach.

Again, just more nutritious, delicious vegetable. Now we just cook and wait.

So 40 minutes later, we are perfectly tender. You can see those tender lentils are all

whole and they're bound together by a beautifully balanced and nuanced spicy

curry blend with that masala, all the sweetness from the fennel and the carrot.

One of the things that I love to do with Curry's is season them in a style that I

learned in southern India, around Goa, and

that is adding a tablespoon or two of

vinegar to a pot of lentils like this.

This is so nutrient dense and good for you.

A fresh cilantro on there.

Just a dollop of creme fraiche or sour cream. A

wedge of lime. That right there is perfection. The idea right here, for

pennies a portion and a giant 50 gallon

tilt skillet, we could be making fresh,

wholesome, delicious, fully flavored food

for anybody that needs it. Just one of my

favorite things to eat in the whole world. That's my recipe for disaster.

another how to warm up video

How to Warm Up

In today's How to Warm Up breathing

exercise we are going to do something called Breath of Fire Breath of Fire

okay now Breath of Fire which is called kapalabhati in Sanskrit is a very useful

practice for speech and singing even though it comes in and out through the

nose and here's why if you go back to the release on the inhalation breathing

video that's also in this How to Warm Up series that is my number one exercise

for getting the body to feel what it feels like to do an easy inhalation but

we also do that pattern in this breath a little bit faster and more vigorously so

if you're trying to train your body what it feels like to do that support on the

exhalation and draw in on the exhalation and then release on the inhalation

feeling you can get that with this exercise

so let me explain how the

exercise works and then we will dive in you're gonna draw your low belly in that

pattern of breath support that we talked about also in the shh let it go exercise the

breath support exercise you draw your low belly in quickly as you breathe out

suddenly and quickly through your nose then you draw the breath in through your

nose so this time we will hear it and then you breathe out suddenly and

quickly through your nose again you want to do the effort on the exhalation and

let the inhalation be a recover or a recoil but because it's coming in

through the very small airways of the nostrils you will hear it okay we'll do

18 and then we'll do a long breath out through the nose long breath in through

the nose long breath out and then we'll take a break that'll be one package of

kapalabhati or Breath of Fire okay you're ready to dive in here we go

sit up nice and tall you can close your eyes if it's helpful to put your hand on your

low belly you can do so and we'll begin

good and release it okay so it was pretty quick right you do 18 you're

you're doing a forceful exhalation or at least a effortful exhalation and then an

easy inhalation you're doing it 18 times pumping the belly really this does get

the low belly pumping which is the value of this exercise for teaching our body

this pattern of supporting from the low place and then we do the long breath out

on the nineteenth breath long breath in Long breath out let's do one more set

here we go

so now here's the most important thing to know about this

pattern is this is what it looks like if you're doing it quote/unquote wrong

you'll go we do not want our chest to push down and collapse as we breathe out

we want to be using the lowest belly muscles to draw in and if anything the

chest is actually going to bounce up if we are squeezing in and pushing down up

here we're doing what I like to call squeezing the middle of the toothpaste

tube or doing a poopy breath where the breath is going down in the poopy

direction and that's just not ideal for speech or for singing so this exercise

is really about practicing that idea of engaging the low abdominal muscles to

send energy up and out let's do one more set of the whole thing

here we go drawing in the low belly full set of 18

really nice

and that my friends is Breath of Fire or kapalabhati which by

the way the translation of the word kapalabhati means skull shining breath

so it is indeed all about doing a breath that sends energy upwards so you might

feel a sense of shininess or glowingness in your skull is the idea so if

after doing this exercise you do feel like you've got a little bit of tingling-ness

that's great and normal and you can just sit with it for a moment to let

your body calibrate before you go about into any other exercises so go ahead and

check out the How to Warm Up series if you want to combine this in any order

with other exercises you can of course watch the intro video if you have

questions about what order this goes in but it is a breathing exercise so it

should go towards the beginning of your warmup
