And a great day to all of my Island friends how's everybody doing do not
worry we're going to cover all of you okay we're going to turn this on this is
the GFS and what is looking like of course this is the coast of Africa and
the monsoon trough extends from West Africa near 12 North to 17 West to to
North 20 to west now it continues from to north to 22 West to South America
near five West okay now widely scattered moderate convection is along the coast
of West West Africa from three North to seven north between one west and 13 West
now isolated moderate convection is along the coast of South America also
and it's between fifty five to five North between thirty one West to forty
nine West now as we come to the Gulf of Mexico what's going on well a cold front
is extending from the Florida Panhandle and it's got abundant conditions of
cloudiness in it and it's prevails along north of the front at this time for you
guys and scattered showers are noted along 25 north and east of 86 west now
general to moderate winds prevail across the majority of the Basin area while an
area of moderate to fresh winds is noted in the scatter meter data over the Bay
of Campeche now this front will become nearly
stationary and weakened from near Sarasota Florida to Tampico Mexico
tonight now a second cold front will reach Southeast Louisiana on Monday and
live across the northern Gulf waters Tuesday a weak low is forecast to
develop along the frontal boundary near 29 North 86 west coming up for Tuesday
and will move northeast across the Florida peninsula toward the western
Atlantic on Wednesday dragging that cold front up in the US it's going to
drag back cold front now this grunts forecasted to reach the near Tampa Bay
to tuk span Mexico Tuesday evening and it should reach from Southwest Florida
to near Veracruz Mexico by Wednesday morning and when it gets there it's
gonna weaken as it reaches farther south into the southeast Gulf late Wednesday
night relatively weak high pressure will build in the wake of this front coming
through so what's going on and the Caribbean Sea you can see this rain is
it's moving across there guys well this is what's happening you got general to
moderate trade winds they're gonna dominate the Caribbean Basin of course
you see these little isolated moderate convection showers in the inland areas
over Oh south Guatemala Costa Rica West Panama in northern Colombia now
scattered showers are over central Hispaniola and over the leeward islands
and the remainder of the Caribbean has mostly fair weather upper level ridging
extends northward over the basin for south america with strong subsidence
over the central and eastern caribbean safari trade wind flow over the basin
it's remaining a wider than normal that's not a good sign for later on
hurricane season maybe you'd pick up my slope site now as a result of these
lighter trade winds seas are running fairly low across the area with the
highest sees of around 5 foot occurring near the coast of Colombia little change
in the weather pattern is expected during the next couple of days as a
surface ridge to the north of remains weak but I will tell you guys this week
it's looking like splash and - showers for most of you guys but a little
further down the road this month you're going to be having some days if it
doesn't change of rain rain rain rain two or three days in a row you're going
to have 80 to 100 percent chance of rain all day
and all night it's that time of the year huh so that's what the Caribbean Sea is
looking like it for all my folks along the island areas and this is set now to
about three o'clock this afternoon Sunday the 8th of April 2018
we'll turn it on and we will check out this part of the Atlantic Ocean what's
happening well pre-frontal scattered moderate convection is noted over the
West Atlantic off the coast of Florida north of 26 north and west of 75 West
elsewhere we got this large 1035 millibar highest located over the
central Atlantic near 40 north 33 west and it's dominating the entire basin
fair weather and moderate trade winds should prevail over the tropical
Atlantic North ok now a cold front will move off of Northeast Florida coast
later today reaching from near 31 North to 65 West
to the northern Bahamas tonight then stall and weaken along 28 North coming
up by tomorrow the western portion of the front will look back to the north as
a warm front through early Tuesday and then boom another cold front will move
over the Northwest waters Monday night into Tuesday and that will reach from
near 31 North to 70 West to the northern Bahamas and South Florida on Wednesday
and it's going to extend from 29 north to 65 west to the central Bahamas on
Wednesday night now both fronts will be preceded by
fresh to strong southwest winds and building seas so everybody up and down
the coastline here all around everywhere you go when this goes happened your seas
probably are going to bill so if you're a fisherman
keep that in mind on what's happening ok now what we're going to do we're going
to just a tad here too most of the islands
we can get in here we will turn this off for up to Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. let's
move right along Friday 8:00 p.m. what shall it look like this is what it shall
look like and now we're up to Sunday the 15th see all these splash and dash
showers and over here in Jamaica that's where I was really concentrating over I
think you guys are going to get some rain rain rain coming up and about a
week or so this area right here this doesn't look like too awful much we'll
turn it on right quick just a couple of tenths of an inch
that's no big deal that's where Sunday the 15th and of course all of this can
change no doubt about it it can all change but this is going to
give you guys an outlook of what to expect so we'll go to Monday the 16th
around 6 a.m. down around Port of Spain st. George Kings town all the way over
you guys should be getting some rain probably splashing - showers let's just
turn it on right quick a little more rain down this way 16 tenths of an inch
so that's more than what was going on but like I say it will start to progress
as the days march through April you will be getting more and more rain so that's
what it's looking like for the next few days for you guys I wanted to give you a
brief update and I thank you so much for everything you do for me it means so
much I will never forget you you will always be in my weather whether it's up
or whether it's not when I think it's time to put it up for you don't worry it
will get put up I love you guys take care of yourselves
have yourself a wonderful Sunday and may each of you have much peace of love and
kindness in your lives for all of your days of it thanks for watching
