- Hi Design Cutters, my name is Joanna Fallon.

I'm a Graphic Designer and we're here

for another Digital Product Unboxing video

from the DesignCuts marketplace.

Each week, I get sent a new product from the marketplace.

I have no idea what it's gonna be.

What these videos are are our initial reaction

and quick play to see what the first impressions are

and see how the product can be used.

Let's see what it is this week.

Okay, so we've got the

4 in 1 Elegant Watercolour Collection by Lisa Glanz.

And, okay so this is slightly self-explanatory

in that it looks like it's a set of collections

and what we got, oh, it's a PDF.

Okay, so little guide how to use patterns.

Having a quick look through the files.

It looks like it's various watercolour elements

and I start getting some pattern resources

and that's hence the explanation how to define a pattern,

so we take these and define them as a pattern

that we can Photoshop ourselves.

So what do we have?

Oh, these are pretty, as is everything with Lisa's work.

So these are some lovely backgrounds and borders.

Oh and they've got, that's a nice touch

that you can get these individually as well

so you can actually create your own frames

within the similar style, so.

These are lovely.

Spellbound, what's that?

Oh these are really nicely done.

They're gorgeous.

More frames.

Wreath and bouquets.

Gosh, a talented lady, that Lisa. (laughs)

And yeah, these are all gorgeous.

Okay, what I'm gonna do is open up Photoshop,

probably have a go at defining some of these patterns,

as patterns in the Photoshop

and then creating little designs,

see what we can come up with.

Okay we've got Photoshop opened up

and I think the first thing I will do is

let's define some patterns,

so let's go for this one.

So we'll open that in Photoshop.

And use a marquee tool to select it.

And then if you go to Edit, Define Pattern,

you can add that to our patterns and

what you should be able to do,

is if we open New Fill Layer and select a pattern

in our document, brilliant we can use the pattern again,

we can use the tools to scale as required.

So, I quite like the slightly zoomed in version,

so we'll see if we can do something with that.

I think the patterns we will actually leave

because they're a good set of resources, I think,

once you know how to install and use patterns,

they can be applied to most things anyway.

What I'll have a quick look at is

maybe trying to create a little design

with the other graphic resources that are available.

I like this leaf, let's put that in there,

see, a starting point.

So these are all essentially individual graphic elements

that are at your disposal to play around with

and create designs.

So you can combine, obviously, all these different elements

from different packs, but I think they've clearly been,

sort of, grouped and designed so

that elements within a particular set complement each other

a little bit more.

I think that will actually work if we maybe

just tone that one down a little bit.

We've got a little bit of colour there

and let's see how we can use those watercolour splotches.

Let's try this blush blob.

Sort of, kind of matches this shading,

add that somewhere over here to create a bit of balance.

Well that's nice with the, sort of, gradient there as well.

Maybe I can, what you can probably do,

build something like this.

Okay, I'm pretty happy with that.

It's a really lovely set.

You can see how you can use all the textures

and the visual elements and the patterns and stuff together

and, in fact, there's four, four in one,

you get, like, the different groups and different styles,

I think it's really, really nice.

Makes me feel like I'm looking forward

to spring a little bit more now,

which is always good. (chuckles)

To summarise, I'm going to give the product quality

five out of five stars.

Lisa's stuff is always really well drawn,

the images have been digitised really well

so the files are really good quality and really easy to use.

They've also been really well organised

and it's just a very nice product to have.

Ease of use, again, gonna give it a five out of five stars.

It's a pretty simple graphics file

so there's nothing too complicated

and the aspect that requires a little bit of work,

defining patterns in Photoshop which have clear instructions

included in the pack, as well.

For value for money, I'm going to rate this

four out of five stars.

I think it's a pretty reasonable price

for what you get in there and the quality

of the actual images themselves.

And finally, I'm going to give the fun factor

four out of five stars.

There's a lot of really lovely images at your disposal

to use in your designs.

They're all individual files so essentially

it's up to you to use them and create them

and have a little play to come up

with your own unique designs.

Overall, I'm going to give this four out of five stars.

I think it's a really good quality product.

The files and images themselves are really well drawn,

as with all of Lisa's work.

It's really, you can expect a good standard

and it's a really nice versatile pack

that I'm sure a lot of people will come back

to use many times over.

you know like they're so calm and good-hearted

so these kind of things I can't stand for crying

I mean it was a commercial for the camera systems really?

so...

again nothing is always like it seems to be

I think we've seen many many of examples on candid for our reactions

where story shows that how often we are wrong in our everyday judges

we're too judgmental

sometimes we don't realize about i and I think it's even worse

it feels worse for us when we actually realize our mistake like the owner of the store did

I just don't know why he'd never checked his camera before that or even...

someone else told him that he shouldn't be so rude to other people

- I really can't help - I didn't expect

My name is Laura Zalenga

And I'm a portrait and self-portrait photographer from Germany

During the last few years the world became my home

Because I'm travelling a lot For my images

When I first started using Sony I was with the a7RII

And now it's the A7III and A7RIII

To me, it's super important to have something that's not heavy and not bulky

Because I'm out in the woods I'm out in the mountains

I'm climbing up waterfalls I'm climbing into caves

And it's just me, a backpack, camera, lenses Out in to the wild

Natural light I just adore

Working with what's happening around you

With the a7RIII it just enables me to go through all the situations

That I face during my adventures And capture it and be happy with it in the end

I never really think about the dynamic range

But the thing is I never have to think about it

I often shoot with different kinds of light situations

And then be happy that I can bring back parts of the image

That I wasn't really thinking about while taking them

I guess in the time of the internet

You often question why you need 42 megapixels

But I think what every artist is a lot more interested in Is showing in a gallery

Showing something on a big, big billboard

It doesn't necessarily have to happen with every image

But if you go back and you have the possibility if someone asks

You're going to cry if you don't have the resolution to actually do that

So, to me, that is often a game changer

With my self-portraits, it's a long, long story of evolving

I started just having a 7 seconds timer and then running back and forth

And now with this camera I can connect my phone

And that was, seriously, one of the most magical moments of my life

When I had my phone in my hand And I could see what the camera sees

Right now, I'm looking in to what my composition will be like

The digital viewfinder is a gamechanger Because it takes a lot less testing

You just immediately see what you will get

It gives you more freedom and saves you a lot of time

To me, one thing I really like is shooting with people who dance

With that, it's really cool that Sony have the 10 frames per second

So I can actually focus on my composition And the mood you have with the image

It gives me more freedom

For this, I'm using the Eye Autofocus

And it's just amazing because it keeps me focusing on something else

While the camera does all the focusing on the eye

And I can be completely on the composition And which moment I want to capture

My absolute favourite lens is the 85 1.4mm G-Master

The most magical portrait lens I ever touched

With the bokeh that you get

And the combination with still having the sharpness

If I don't have that lens with me and I would normally take a photo of someone

I can't take that photo because I know I'm not going to be satisfied

I think the one thing I really love about my Sony A7 RIII

Is that I feel relaxed I don't have to do the thinking

I can do the feeling part

I'm the one who can focus on what I think should be my job

The mood The emotions

The composition The camera is doing all the rest

And I can rely on it

There is no other camera that fits me and what I want to do

And to me this is perfect

Anda Adam și Cătălin Botezatu s-au iubit o perioadă, în anul 2013, același în care Bianca Drăgușanu și Victor Slav s-au căsătorit

Designerul a explicat atunci care a fost situația și a dezvăluit că relația lor începuse înainte ca Bianca și Victor să stabilească nunta

Dacă relaţia cu Anda va merge bine, va fi bine. Dacă va merge rău, asta este! Toată lumea crede că relaţia cu Anda e de faţadă şi că e o coincidenţă prea mare că ei au avut nunta acum

Între noi s-a consumat ceva frumos cu mult înainte să existe aceste două personaje

Apoi, ne-am mai văzut uneori pe la evenimente şi mai târziu a urmat relaţia ei cu Victor

Eu am mai fost cu anumite persoane, inclusiv cu Bianca. După, şi în viaţa Biancăi au mai urmat alţi bărbaţi, şi în viaţa mea alte femei

În final, Bianca a ajuns cu Victor, iar eu cu Anda. Înţeleg că poate părea ciudat, dar a trecut mult timp de când eu m-am despărţit de Bianca ca să se poată spune că are vreo legătură

E simplu. Asta e lumea în care ne învârtim noi, ce să fac? Nu am căutat, dar s-a nimerit! Aşa a fost să fie

Plus că e o relaţie mişto între noi, şi nu una programată. Fapt doveditor că merge şi ţine de atâtea luni

Ea are treaba ei, eu am treaba mea. Ne întâlnim când avem timp şi e foarte tare. Noi vorbim toată ziua prin mesaje şi vorbim şi la telefon

E şi ăsta un fel de relaţie, poate mai mişto chiar. Pentru că în momentul în care ne vedem este… hmmm…! nu ştiu, e altceva! Mă duc la concertele, filmările şi înregistrările ei

Când avem un weekend liber, îl consumăm împreună. Nu pot să spun că ne-am mutat împreună sau că o vom face

Nici că vom avea un copil. Doamne fereşte! Nu-mi doresc niciun copil", a declarat atunci Cătălin Botezatu, potrivit VIVA!

Liderul sindicaliştilor din penitenciare, către Tudorel Toader, în cazul crimei din Mediaș: „Dezinfo - Duration: 5:21.

Sorin Dumitraşcu, liderul sindicaliştilor din penitenciare, spune că ministrul Justiției, Tudorel Toader, a dezinformat atunci când a declarat că autorul crimei din Mediaș nu a fost printre cei eliberați condiționat pe baza legii recursului compensatoriu

"Îl avertizăm pe ministrul Toader că infracţiunea de comunicare de informaţii false se pedepseşte cu închisoare de la 1 la 5 ani", precizează Dumitrașcu, într-un comunicat transmis vineri

Liderul sindicaliștilor din penitenciare mai spune că, „în situaţia în care nu ar fi existat aşa-numita lege a recursului compensatoriu, cel cunoscut drept criminalul de la Mediaş ar fi fost liberat condiţionat în luna mai 2019, iar la termen în luna august 2021"

Potrivit acestuia, informaţiile sunt incluse în dosarul de penitenciar al deţinutului Rusu Marius

Dumitraşcu mai precizează că Legea recursului compensatoriu, intrată în vigoare pe 19 octombrie 2017, a obligat administraţia Penitenciarului Deva să-l analizeze pe deţinut în comisia de liberare condiţionată în data de 23 octombrie 2017, acesta beneficiind, la momentul primei evaluări, de scăderea din pedeapsă a unui număr de 372 de zile de închisoare ca urmare a aplicării legii

Mai departe, Dumitrașcu spune că ministrul Justiției a dezinformat atunci când a afirmat, miercuri, într-o conferință de presă, că autorul crimei de la Mediaș nu a beneficiat de prevederile legii recursului compensatoriu și i-a atras atenția lui Tudorel Toader că „infracţiunea constând în comunicarea sau răspândirea, prin orice mijloace, de ştiri, date sau informaţii false ori de documente falsificate, cunoscând caracterul fals al acestora este sancţionată cu închisoare de la 1 la 5 ani"

Ce prevede legea recusrului compensatoriu Deținuții încarcerați în condiții inumane, inclusiv spațiul de cazare din penitenciar, beneficiază de 6 zile reduse din pedeapsă pentru fiecare 30 de zile executate

În proiectul Guvernului se prevedea o reducere de 3 zile, dar modificarea la 6 zile s-a produs în Camera Deputaţilor, for decizional

La Camera Deputaților s-au adăugat drept condiții pentru eliberarea mai devreme din penitenciar: cazarea într-un spațiu mai mic sau egal cu 4 mp/deținut, care se calculează excluzând suprafața grupurilor sanitare și a spațiilor de depozitare a alimentelor, prin împărțirea suprafeței totale a camerelor de deținere la numărul de persoane cazate în camerele respective; lipsa accesului la activități în aer liber; lipsa accesului la lumină naturală sau aer suficient ori disponibilitatea de ventilație; lipsa temperaturii adecvate a camerei; lipsa posibilității de a folosi toaleta în privat și de a se respecta normele sanitare de bază, precum și cerințele de igienă; existența infiltrațiilor, igrasiei și mucegaiului în pereții camerelor de detenție

În perioada 19 octombrie 2017 – 23 noiembrie 2018 au fost eliberați în baza recursului compensatoriu 10

880 de deținuți. Dintre aceștia, 649 au revenit în penitenciare, 188 după ce au comis violuri, crime și tâlhării, a transmis Ministerul Justiției
