Youtube daily report Jan 20 2019

Sailor Brinkley Cook didn't let body-shamers get to her! She defended herself and celebrated self-love in new Instagram post. See details inside!

This girl's all about embracing who she is! Model Sailor Brinkley Cook, 20, showed on Instagram on Jan. 20 that she loves how she looks and who she is, and won't let nasty internet comments get her down. In a lengthy comment, 64-year-old Christie Brinkley's daughter described how she encountered some hate comments critiquing her body at the bottom of an article about her, and what she does to practice self-love.

"I know i have 'no tits,'" Sailor said in her comment. "I know I don't have 'perfect curves.' I know I'm deemed as 'talentless' and 'unimportant.' I know many believe I will 'never be as beautiful as my mother' and that I'm 'an average boring-looking girl with a terrible body.' I know all these comments. I've heard them from strangers my entire life, and they've pierced my thick skin and they've hurt me more than once. But even though they've hurt, I just can't let them tear me down."

Sailor then said that instead, she has chosen to live her life with positivity. "[I'm] working on being my most kind, caring, loving self," she said. "I focus on looking in the mirror every day and loving every part of me that I've taken soooo long to learn to love."

She acknowledged that she knows she'll never be "enough" for everyone – and that's so, so important to realize! Attempting to win over everyone's validation will never work for anybody!

"So to every person sitting behind a screen who's chosen to write something nasty about me or anyone, I'm so sorry," she concluded in her post. "I'm so sorry you are hurting enough to want to hurt someone else. I wish you nothing but peace and i really hope you find it in your heart to put that energy you use tearing strangers down, into finding the strength to love YOU and be the positive force we all are capable of being. Stop tearing people down 2019 lol let's start that campaign."

Sailor coming forward and sharing this message will surely mean a lot to so many people. We're glad she isn't letting the haters get her down!

Is Jetstar Business Class worth it? Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Review - Duration: 10:29.

Unfortunately I forgot to film the intro to this video at Melbourne Airport so I

found another airport. Hello my name is Paul Stewart and a number of weeks ago

I flew with Jetstar in their 787 economy product from Melbourne through to Sydney

and quite a few people asked how does it compare to their business class product?

So coming up are my thoughts on Jetstar business class and is it worth it, on a

flight from Melbourne through to Sydney in their Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The journey begins at check-in and there is a separate queue for business so I only

had to wait a number of seconds to be called, it was then through customs and

into the departure terminal. Even though this is a domestic flight, I'm catching

an international aircraft and via their terminal so I still had to clear customs,

either with a passport or just a proper photo ID. Now I should stress that there

is no lounge access with the cheaper business class ticket so you have to get

the max bundle which was an extra $80. If you selected that option you'll be

granted access to the Qantas business lounge. Having said that if you happen to

hold status with Qantas, then you can also get access to the lounge that way.

I'm fortunate enough to have attained platinum status so I was allowed into

the first class lounge. I've published a review of this lounge in a separate

video so I only mentioned the highlights. First off, I had a complimentary

20-minute massage in the day spa and all of this with a fantastic view

out of the windows. Next up I had some lunch and then dessert at the restaurant

which has an ala carte menu and full table service, and all this with a

fantastic view of the airport apron again.

My flight was called and I headed for the gate. Our aircraft is a Boeing 787-8

which first flew in 2015. The Dreamliner was the first passenger

airliner made out of composite material, so carbon fiber and other magic

materials, rather than the usual aluminium. One of the multiple advantages that

this has is that it doesn't rust so the aircraft's interior can be kept more

humid. Another perk of business class was that the boarding was called earlier

so you could get on board, unpack your carry-on luggage and relax.

First up when you turn left is an economy mini cabin which is actually a

great place and I'll explain why in my other review. Row 10, in particular, has

heaps of legroom and here's my seat 3A which is at the back of the business

class cabin and in my opinion is also the best seat and I'll explain why later on. It's

a small business cabin with the seats in at 2-3-2 layout and I'll show you

through my seat in more detail.

The legroom was adequate although not amazing and there are these little leg

rest things which I'll let you decide how useful they would be.

Between the two seats are these two power points and USB ports and above you

are individual vents.

Here's the fold-out table and they provided complimentary headphones.

That don't usually give out amenity kits on this short flight although the

crew nicely made an exception for me and I'll be giving away this kit

to a subscriber later in the video.

We backed out and headed for the runway. This Qantas A330 took off in front of

us and then it was our turn. I'll stop talking so you can enjoy the spoolup

from the General Electric GEnx engines. I'll speed up through some

of the take off, although I'll upload the full takeoff video to my new channel

Paul Stewart EXTRA and there will be a link to that below.

The views as we come through the clouds were pretty impressive and a reminder of

how cool flying actually is. While I do think that the 787 Dreamliner

is a really good aircraft, the one thing I'll briefly rant about are the windows.

Here's me on a previous flight playing with electric window shades. Instead

of the simple plastic shade, they have a resin between the glass that goes dark

when electricity is applied. The problem is that the crew can lock them in the

dark setting which completely destroys the view. The other thing is that they

don't really completely block direct sunlight which becomes an issue if

you're a ginger like me , unless you've applied sunscreen before

the flight. Having said that, thankfully the crew did

not lock them in the darkest settings so I could continue to enjoy the views of

New South Wales from 40,000 feet. I'll briefly mention the in-flight entertainment,

which is free in business but comes with a fee in economy. The content is

reasonably limited so I'd suggest you fill up your tablet or

computer and then use the power plugs to keep them going

I should also mention that there is no in-flight Wi-Fi so a Millenial will need

to avoid social media for at least 60 minutes if you can .And on the topic of

my generation, don't forget to check out my Instagram account and Facebook page

for the latest news about this channel and aviation images. Because the

flight was only 59 minutes a complimentary snack was provided so

I'm afraid I can't really comment on the hot food so sorry about that.

After 30 minutes the gradual descent into Sydney began and the impressive

views continued Now I should point out that there is a single toilet for the 12

business passengers and it was perfectly fine.

So to summarize the flight. The 787 itself is a great aircraft.

It's reasonably quiet and the additional humidity avoids drawing you out like the

older generation of aircraft such as the Airbus a330 and Boeing 777. My only

issue is the electric window shades although thankfully they did not lock it in the

dark setting during this flight like they did on a previous one. The most important

consideration here is that Jetstar are a low-cost carrier and the business

class is often still quite cheap especially with a sale.

So it is really unfair to compare it to a business product of a full service

airline who might offer a lie flat seat. it's actually best to compare it with an

international premium economy seat and in that case it's a reasonable option.

It doesn't have the improved food or decent in-flight entertainment you'll get in

Qantas premium economy although the seat is pretty similar and it's usually still

quite a bit cheaper. The crew a perfectly fine and friendly and the seat itself

was also fine for premium economy. Again I can't really comment on the food and

drink as the flight was too short. Now before I forget, in my opinion

row three is the best in business because the galleys and the toilet are

at the front that's where all of the noise will be and you're far enough the back

to still get a good view of the wing and engine! And don't worry, the bassinets

aren't right behind you as they're back in row 23. Now Jetstar also cop a lot

of criticism for the service recovery when something goes wrong although in

their defense they are a low-cost carrier and I suppose that's the risk

you take when you only pay a few hundred dollars to fly tens of thousands of

kilometres. By buying a cheap ticket you're kinda accepting that you'll

potentially get a cheap service in my experience a roughly twenty flight to

the Jetstar, I've never had a cancellation and the delays have been

reasonable, certainly in comparison with the stories you hear about Tiger and

European low-cost carriers I don't think we've got it too bad with Jetstar. So to

answer the question is Jetstar business any good? well if you compare it with

similar price services, which will be a premium economy, then yes it's fine.

Is it worth if when compared with economy? I think it is, avoiding the long

queues is really handy and the wider seats will make for an easier nap

the longer flights. And also once you start paying for food, entertainment and

luggage with the economy fairs, the price difference quickly disappears. aAnd

finally the amenity kit give-away. the competition last 30 days and to enter

simply reply below and include the text (JetstarKit) in brackets. Full

details of the giveaway are in the video description below. If you enjoyed the

video, be sure to click the thumbs up button and check out my channel for more

similar videos I don't forget to watch my economy-class review of the same

aircraft and I'll include a link to that below. Thanks for watching and I'll see

you another time and enjoy the learning into Sydney.

Booklover's Tag [CC] - Duration: 5:49.

Hello everybody, it's Anna, and welcome back to my booktube channel! Today I am

coming to you with a book tag. It is the Booklover's Tag that I was

tagged to do by Kathy Trithardt, and the tag questions, which are down on this

side, if you see me looking away from the screen, were originally posted on the

"One Too Many Adjectives" blog, which I will also link down below. So let's go ahead

and get into the questions. Just a fun, chill, casual kind of book tag.

Question number one: do you have a specific place for reading? Yes! Anywhere I can get my

hands on a book !This is including but not limited to listening to audiobooks

while I shower--[intense] it happens! Number two: bookmarks or a random piece of paper?

I usually use bookmarks. Actually, let me show you-- I'll be right back.

I actually have this ginormous plastic cup filled to the brim with bookmarks.

That being said, I have been known to use business cards, coupons,

receipts, and any other random bits and bobs that I have to keep my place in a book.

Number three: can you just stop anywhere or do you need to finish a chapter?

I mean, I *can* just stop anywhere, but I *prefer* to finish a chapter, or at

least get to a break or a line or something like that, just because

it makes it a lot easier to pick the book back up again and remember where I was.

Number four: do you eat or drink while reading? Yes! Usually it's just me

drinking tea or water, as you can see out of my handy-dandy water bottle,

but I have been known to eat while reading as well. Usually that would

happen at work if I had a book propped open while I was eating lunch on

my lunch break, something like that. But usually it's just drinking.

Number 5: music or TV while reading? NOO! I have a hard enough time dealing with just

ambient noise and filtering out background noise as it is! I don't mind

if there is maybe some light music playing in the background or if I'm in

a cafe out in public and I just hear murmurs of ambient conversation,

but I don't really like having to put that extra

cognitive load on myself when I'm doing something to relax and unwind like reading.

So, prefer not to. One book at a time or several? Several. I usually try to

keep it two different genres, so I'll usually have a nonfiction and a

fiction book going at the same time, or if I'm reading two fiction books,

I'll have them be in totally different genres, just so I can keep those stories

separate in my mind. But yeah, I almost always have two or more books going at once.

Number seven: do you prefer to read at home or elsewhere? I mean, I guess

I prefer to read at home because that's where my couch is, and it is the comfiest

couch I've ever sat upon to date, but I'm not gonna turn up the opportunity to

read elsewhere if it comes my way. [Southern accent] It's reading--I don't care where I do it as long as I'm doin' it!

Read out loud, or silently? I usually read silently; however,

I enjoy reading out loud *a lot,* and the reason being is that I know I'm good at

doing voices. Maybe someday we'll figure out a way for me to read something out

loud without being in violation of any copyright laws for this channel because

I think that would be a lot of fun.

Number nine: do you read ahead or skip the pages? Hmm...this one is a tricky one. I don't usually

do this with books that I'm reading for fun. The closest thing I can think of

that would that I would do is I sometimes will just flip ahead to see

how close I am to finishing a chapter, but I'm not really reading those pages,

so it doesn't count. However, I totally read ahead, skipped

pages, skimmed etc, when I was in school, especially graduate school, because as

anyone who's ever been in a grad program knows, there is no humanly possible way

to get through that reading workload without skimming at least a little bit sometimes.

Come on, people! I'm not made of time! And then number 10: do you write in your books?

Again, kind of, sometimes. I usually don't write in the

books that I read for pleasure unless it's like an old study copy.

Some things, like all of my Jane Austen novels, are the same ones that I used

when I was in school, so sometimes I might go through and write in a

book I've already written in. But generally I'm not annotating a book

unless I'm actually reading it to study it. Even if it's like a book club book,

I usually will just like take notes somewhere else. Not to be all

[snobby mutterings] or whatever, but I have a pretty good memory, so I can usually get by with

just flagging pages and finding and using those flags as a way to like jog

my memory if I had a point I wanted to make about something like that.

I think-- uh oh, computer fell asleep! All right, cool.

Those are all the questions for the Booklover's Tag. If you are watching this video

and you would like to make the tag, please do consider yourself tagged.

You can find the questions down below in the description box. And let me know if you

have anything to add, answer these questions yourself in the comments.

What are some of your fun or interesting or strange reading habits? I'd love to hear about them.

Thank you all so much for watching! Please don't forget to like

this video and subscribe to my channel if you haven't done so already.

That way you get notifications every time I upload. Once again, thank you all so much

for watching, and I will see you in the next one. Bye!

David Tennant is mortified as he discovers real meaning behind aubergine emoji - Duration: 3:07.

He has learned a thing or two In a true Gen X moment, David Tennant has voiced his absolute shock at discovering the real meaning behind the aubergine emoji

Doctor Who was flabberghasted, to say the least.  After attending a staff training seminar held by a Hollywood studio on the commencement of a new job, the actor was left quite flummoxed after he received a tutorial on using the famously sexual emoji

Seemed the star had been using it for culinary purposes (as one is totally in their right to do) and had no idea it was seen in such a way

Poor, sweet, innocent Dave.  Speaking at the ACE Comic Con in Arizona over the weekend, David said that the image flashed up in the seminar with the warning: 'Remember, the eggplant emoji is not just an eggplant.' Can work his way around a phone box, has no idea about emojis (Picture: Rex Features) The father-of-four sat stunned as he exclaimed: 'And that was it

No explanation, just that. I went WHAT?' Advertisement Advertisement  The Jessica Jones star said the video, which was purportedly shared in the wake of Harvey Weinstein's sexual assault allegations, went through the motions of warnings in the workplace

'Stuff like it's bad to touch somebody on the bum and all that, and of course, sure,' David said

'You're starting with a new company, here are the rules, da de da.'  However the whole eggplant/aubergine debacle immediately had him worried, as the hip meaning, for the tech kids, was evidently lost on him beforehand

As he was told by the host and his co-star Krysten Ritter that you don't use the eggplant emoji at work, he added: 'Now I am terrified!'  'I mean, imagine I was just saying "do you want some eggplant for dinner" and suddenly I am up against a tribunal?' he said

The actor has most recently starred in Good Omens, an upcoming Amazon adaption. More: Doctor Who Who is Mark North in Luther?
