Youtube daily report Jan 21 2019

Dear ICSD Members and Athletes,

I trust this message finds you well.

Over the last few weeks, you will have viewed videos

about the key proposed changes to ICSD governance

that have come out of the ICSD Reform Commission.

There will be more similar videos coming your way over the next few weeks.

The ICSD Executive Board and members of the ICSD Reform Commission

believe it is vital that there is engagement and

communication across the ICSD community about these proposed changes.

It is with pleasure that I advise that the ICSD Executive Board

have approved the hosting of the 2nd ICSD Reform Symposium.

Many of you will remember the first symposium that was held in Croatia.

The ICSD Reform Symposium will be held in Brazil

in the south on 13 and 14 April 2019.

All members are invited to attend the Symposium.

It is hoped that many of you will be able to participate in this important event.

We were keen to release details of the symposium as soon

as we could in order to provide you

with sufficient time to plan for the symposium.

Gustavo Perazzolo will be providing additional logistical details in a follow-on video.

Thank you. I look forward to seeing many of you at the 2nd ICSD Reform Symposium!

Dear ICSD members and athletes,

Scott Snapper - IBDs and gut microbiota - Duration: 3:50.

The microbiome has been studied for decades

related to IBD

and it's been known for a long time in mouse models of IBD

that bacteria matter,

because in most models of mouse

if you don't have microbes they don't get disease

and it doesn't for the largest number of models

and there are over 50 known bacteria in inflammatory bowel disease.

In humans, deep microbial genotyping

has clearly shown that if you compare

IBD patients or ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease to healthy controls

there's altered diversity.

So there's a reduced diversity

and this is true for both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's.

It's still not clear:

is the change in diversity a cause or an effect

of the underlying inflammation that people have?

Although some studies

– and a very large study funded by the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation,

in Cell Host & Microbe –

showed that even at the time of diagnosis,

at the initial diagnosis

the microbiota has already changed.

Again the question:

is it possible that the altered diversity

actually is a driver of the inflammation

as opposed to the inflammation is a driver of the altered diversity?

There have been a number of, I would say,

basic and translational studies

that are trying to manipulate the microbiota for therapeutic effects.

People have isolated groups of bacteria,

where groups of bacteria can induce regulatory T-cells

and there are companies trying to develop these bacteria as a therapeutic

since one might imagine you can give these healthy bacteria

that induce regulatory cells to patients.

This is all, although there have been lots of mouse work,

there's increasing numbers of studies that are planned for humans.

The human studies on microbiota have been looked in two different ways.

One is fecal transplant.

Fecal microbial transplant works

very effectively for C. difficile infections

and there's been the question:

"does it work for inflammatory bowel disease?"

The jury's not out on it:

it's probably not going to be the magic bullet

because fecal microbial transplants is giving a large diversity of organisms

as opposed to only "the good ones versus the bad ones"

but there happened some studies

and in particular one from Australia published in The Lancet last year,

that really showed the effectiveness

of five days a week for six to eight weeks

that was effective for ulcerative colitis,

but studies on fecal transplant are still going on

and I'd say the jury's still out.

Il Quitte La France Pour La Nz 🇫🇷 -- 🇳🇿 Why He Left France (2019) - Duration: 12:02.

Hello my olives with feta!

today it's a new interview like last time

with my nepalese friend

today it's gonna be just in french

with guillaume that you know well!

i take advantage of the crazy equipments

it belong to my korean friend who's gonna be in interview after

she's a vlogger

and she is really well equipped

it's so wrong to say that...

no but we speak about the lights

we speak about lights

so yeah we're gonna start with a new interview

why guillaume came in new zealand

he's gonna tell us everything

let's go

guillaume can you introduce yourself

my name is guillaume

my name is guillaume i have 29 years old

it's been 7 years that i'm in new zealand

we were in the same class in high school with Brian

we met there

since he is in new zealand we live together

so yeah

it's weird to say that...

we live together but in separate room!

heterosexualy

so yeah

i found this concept really cool

so i asked if i can do it

to have an advice for french people

well for me like a french guy who live in new zealand

and why i like this country

how old are you?

29 years old

i came when i was 22

so my first question is

why you came to new zealand

hum well in france

i used to work in a pub

Au bureau

it's a brand it's like a bar

and i used to study chemical

a dut of chemical in Vitry

but i didn't do the last year because i didn't see me work

in a lab

it was not what i wanted

so i started to work in catering

because my best friend

used to study in catering

so he ask me to work just during the weekend at the beginning

so study during the week and work at the bar during the weekend

but i started to like that, like the contact with customers

working in a busy environment

and yeah i liked the contact

human contact

so i realized

that i want to do that but in a foreign country

i want to improve my english

and i had a project

to open a business with him in france or anywhere

but i said to him that it's gonna be great if i go abroad for one year

i learn english well

and when i come back we can do that

i think it was important to speak a good english

it's a great advantage

so yeah

i want to go to a country where i can speak english

australia or new zealand

i think because it was the most far away from france

and i want to prove myself

that i can be far

from my family and

that i can handle myself

that's why i didn't want to go to london

or near countries

but at the beginning i left with a friend

maybe alone i would not have done that

because i was afraid to leave

i had a confort in france

my family and my friends

and i like france

i miss it

but i was like i need to do it

so it planned like that

we supposed to leave with 3 friends

2 cancelled and it was just him and me

but he didn't enjoy nz and he left after 2 weeks

but i was like

it was dumb to come back... i asked myself

i remember when he left

i was like fuck... i'm in trouble

because i was really shit in english

i thought i was good but no...

i didn't have any job

2 weeks that i was in new zealand

and i was alone

but i was like it's dumb to waste my year

for my working holiday visa

i needed to live this experience because after i'm gonna regret

and finally it's good that i didn't do that

because it's been 7 years that i'm here

i have a kid now

well i'm divorce

but yeah

it's life

i enjoyed so much that i would do it again

it's the most beautiful adventure in my life

thanks

my second question is

so why you staid in this country

why you didn't leave after one year

like a lot of traveller

they spend one year in the country

and they are like "it's ok it's enough"

we come back to france

and continue our life in france

so why you didn't think i come back to france

so

when i came to new zealand i met a lot of people

like me. I worked for french restaurant at the beginning

because i want to improve my english

and when i saw

their mind and life style in new zealand

i was like it's what i want

new zealand

compare to Paris well like Brian suburbs of Paris

it's

it was too much

people are too much

in their bubbles

and i don't feel that people are helping each other

but in new zealand

i always had support about people that i didn't know well

and i found that everything was easy to do

in the sense of

do some papers or

find a job

it was fast

stressless

and i found that my life in new zealand was really cool

and i felt great because

i was in an environment

where i was relax

so yeah

so after my one year of working holiday visa

i need to think about what i want to do

and the solution

well the easiest one for me was one year of study

in catering in new zealand

it thought it was good because i wanted

well i had experience in catering first

but i didn't have any degree and imagine in english

i thought it was interesting

to prove to myself

that i can study in english

learn everything in english

and when i did this year of study

i met a lot of people

and step by step

i didn't see myself going back to france

because i was scared

that when i'm come back to france

i'm gonna be in a new mind

and finally i cannot

i cannot be happy. And also need to start from zero

so i left my job

but i worked only one year in france

so i never paid any tax in france

so when i thought i'm gonna come back in france

i'm gonna need to really be in active research

so need to find a new apartment

because i used to live in my parent's house at this time

so it would be a big changement

and in new zealand it was the first time that i used to live alone

and i felt great!

really happy

except that i missed my family and friends

nothing else

everything was really easy

and i felt that everything was happen

i didn't believe that

i was capable of everything

everything that i want to do in nz

i did it

just because...i think i add more

opportunities maybe

in the business world

thanks

i think you replied to all my questions

well this two at least

another question that i asked to Avi

why you can recommend new zealand

why you can recommend now

so

i think that new zealand

is a new country

i mean there are not a lot of people

it's a small country

and the mind

their mind are awesome

they trust really fast

they help you if they can

and i don't think you can find that in a lot of countries

well i think that new zealand is a country

it's like France but long time ago

you know what i mean?

i don't say that france is bad

but i feel that there is a lot of people in france now

it's quite hard

to take care of you

and i think people don't trust a lot

because they think that there is always a bad meaning

i remember when i arrived in new zealand

every time someone propose something to me

it's weird...

how they can

help you without thinking

and it's a mentality that i change for myself

i think that this new zealand mind is really good

i never went to australia but i heard it's kind of different

it's not good like that

but you earn more money

it's huge so a lot of things to do

and the only bad thing that i heard

about new zealand

it's a too calm country

but i like that

i don't need a bug city

i don't need a place where it move a lot

and even in auckland there is a lot of things to do

of course it's small

i never went to south island in 7 years

i worked like hell

and maybe later

but yeah you can travel in new zealand in one or two months

it's done

france

to do everything i think it take your life!

but it's just that

i recommend new zealand a lot

it's a country with an open mind

you learn english

you meet a lot of good people because there is a lot of foreigners

and it's a country where

it's good to live

weather is good. not too cold and not too hot

it's far from everything

it can be bad but for me

it's cool to be far from everything

you are at the other side of the world

it's the pacific

it's another culture

maoris

there is a lot of story to learn it's really interesting

so yeah for me

if i can recommend a country

if someone want to learn english

it's new zealand

ok really it's my last question!

do you see yourself

going back to france

in the future

yeah can you imagine to come back in france

so nope...

it's sure that i'm never gonna come back in france

but it's different

i have a child with a new zealander

so yeah i don't see like

i'm stuck

i'm not stuck

but i'm not gonna come back in france

and let my son

after if i didn't have any child

i don't think also that i can come back

maybe i would go to australia

at the beginning

it was my plan

one year in new zealand

one year in australia

and continue to do some working holiday visa

i really wanted to travel

improve my experience

and work at the same time

when i left i didn't have a lot of money

so i needed to work straight away

but if i need to come back in france

it's for holiday

i don't say that france

is not good

i love this country

i really missed my family and friends

but i'm really happy here

and i don't see myself going back to france one day

i don't think to come back in europe also

i think that my life's gonna be

in new zealand or australia

but

not in others countries

so thank you

to replied to my questions

it was the second video

in this concept

in this concept of videos

Guillaume is french and last time it was my nepalese friend Avi!

the next video's gonna be

a korean friend

that you're gonna discover after that

thanks again

i hope it help you

to analyse new zealand and why people

stay here

why they travel

i like to have

a lot of advises about that

because it's always different! Nobody has the same life

every experience is different

so yeah hope you liked

open your eyes! have a free mind!

see you next time

bye

bye

It looks like a big mountain of branches.

Fire pit is full now.

OK, we came back to water collection system.

It went to the middle!!

Yay!!

The water went to the... right spot.

The part we left to dry got really hard and it worked well.

Want to Share the Gospel? Start with This Question - Duration: 3:24.

I talk a lot about having a tactical game plan in

place that will allow you to go forward and engage somebody in a productive way

for Christ without taking a lot of risk on yourself. I've talked in the past

about the importance of not worrying about the harvest but thinking more

about the gardening because if we garden effectively, then the harvest will take

care of itself. Plus, the idea of trying to win someone to Christ and get them to

sign on the dotted line is a little daunting for a lot of people, so they sit

on the bench instead of getting out into the field. And so I want to suggest a

means by which you can do that. Okay, what's the first step of the game plan?

The first step of the game plan is to simply gather information. You cannot

know how to proceed effectively in a conversation unless you have basic

information. Now, what does that do? It gives me a little bit of a sense of the

lay of the land. I might find out whether or not they're a Christian, or if they

used to be a Christian and aren't now, or whether they've ever thought about

Christianity, or whether they're hostile to Christianity. You see, these are all

things that are really valuable to know before you move forward. This is one step

that you you don't need to hurry. Do not worry about getting to the endgame,

winning them to Christ, don't even think about that now. Just think about

gathering information. Now, I have a model question at this point that will help

you, and the model question is, "What do you mean by that?" What do you mean by

that? It's a model question that means you can use it different ways

under different circumstances with different people. Now, this is especially

helpful when people are raising objections against Christianity or

offering challenges. There are all kinds of challenges that require

more information. And so when somebody says, "Well, everything is relative,"

and you ask, "What do you mean by relative?" or they say, "I believe in evolution," and

you ask, "What do you mean by evolution?" or they say, "I believe the Bible is filled

with errors," or "The Bible has been changed," or "...that Jesus never lived," or

"...that He lived, but He wasn't a miracle worker," etc., etc., etc., it is always in your

favor to ask more questions. And you don't have to answer that objection, not

at this point. All you have to do is get more information. And the more

information you get, the better. The more you understand that person, the more you

understand that person's ideas, the more clarity you have of the challenge, the

better you'll be able to decide in the future which direction to go or if you

don't go in any direction at all. This first question, "What do you mean by that?"

meant to help you gather information, is going to get you started, and that's all

we want to worry about at this point in the tactical game plan.

well i had experience in catering first

but i didn't have any degree and imagine in english

i thought it was interesting

to prove to myself

that i can study in english

learn everything in english

and when i did this year of study

i met a lot of people

and step by step

i didn't see myself going back to france

because i was scared

that when i'm come back to france

i'm gonna be in a new mind

and finally i cannot

i cannot be happy. And also need to start from zero

so i left my job

but i worked only one year in france

so i never paid any tax in france

so when i thought i'm gonna come back in france

i'm gonna need to really be in active research

so need to find a new apartment

because i used to live in my parent's house at this time

so it would be a big changement

and in new zealand it was the first time that i used to live alone

and i felt great!

really happy

except that i missed my family and friends

nothing else

everything was really easy

and i felt that everything was happen

i didn't believe that

i was capable of everything

everything that i want to do in nz

i did it

just because...i think i add more

opportunities maybe

in the business world

thanks

i think you replied to all my questions

well this two at least

another question that i asked to Avi

why you can recommend new zealand

why you can recommend now

so

i think that new zealand

is a new country

i mean there are not a lot of people

it's a small country

and the mind

their mind are awesome

they trust really fast

they help you if they can

and i don't think you can find that in a lot of countries

well i think that new zealand is a country

it's like France but long time ago

you know what i mean?

i don't say that france is bad

but i feel that there is a lot of people in france now

it's quite hard

to take care of you

and i think people don't trust a lot

because they think that there is always a bad meaning

i remember when i arrived in new zealand

every time someone propose something to me

it's weird...

how they can

help you without thinking

and it's a mentality that i change for myself

i think that this new zealand mind is really good

i never went to australia but i heard it's kind of different

it's not good like that

but you earn more money

it's huge so a lot of things to do

and the only bad thing that i heard

about new zealand

it's a too calm country

but i like that

i don't need a bug city

i don't need a place where it move a lot

and even in auckland there is a lot of things to do

of course it's small

i never went to south island in 7 years

i worked like hell

and maybe later

but yeah you can travel in new zealand in one or two months

it's done

france

to do everything i think it take your life!

but it's just that

i recommend new zealand a lot

it's a country with an open mind

you learn english

you meet a lot of good people because there is a lot of foreigners

and it's a country where

it's good to live

weather is good. not too cold and not too hot

it's far from everything

it can be bad but for me

it's cool to be far from everything

you are at the other side of the world

it's the pacific

it's another culture

maoris

there is a lot of story to learn it's really interesting

so yeah for me

if i can recommend a country

if someone want to learn english

it's new zealand

ok really it's my last question!

do you see yourself

going back to france

in the future

yeah can you imagine to come back in france

so nope...

it's sure that i'm never gonna come back in france

but it's different

i have a child with a new zealander

so yeah i don't see like

i'm stuck

i'm not stuck

but i'm not gonna come back in france

and let my son

after if i didn't have any child

i don't think also that i can come back

maybe i would go to australia

at the beginning

it was my plan

one year in new zealand

one year in australia

and continue to do some working holiday visa

i really wanted to travel

improve my experience

and work at the same time

when i left i didn't have a lot of money

so i needed to work straight away

but if i need to come back in france

it's for holiday

i don't say that france

is not good

i love this country

i really missed my family and friends

but i'm really happy here

and i don't see myself going back to france one day

i don't think to come back in europe also

i think that my life's gonna be

in new zealand or australia

but

not in others countries

so thank you

to replied to my questions

it was the second video

in this concept

in this concept of videos

Guillaume is french and last time it was my nepalese friend Avi!

the next video's gonna be

a korean friend

that you're gonna discover after that

thanks again

i hope it help you

to analyse new zealand and why people

stay here

why they travel

i like to have

a lot of advises about that

because it's always different! Nobody has the same life

every experience is different

so yeah hope you liked

open your eyes! have a free mind!

see you next time

bye

bye

The Rafa Camacho moment vs Palace in 96th-minute that Klopp called 'really massive' - Duration: 3:59.

It could be an extremely long four months for Liverpool fans if Saturday is anything to go by

Jurgen Klopp's side had the opportunity to momentarily go seven points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League when Crystal Palace travelled to Anfield

And it was a very nervy 90 minutes as the Reds came from behind to triumph 4-3

Palace were leading 1-0 at half-time and also made it 2-2 with 25 minutes remaining

And Roy Hodgson's side still didn't give up after Sadio Mane had made it 4-2 to Liverpool in the 93rd-minute

The away side went up the other end and immediately make it 4-3 to set up an anxious final few seconds for Liverpool  And there was even time for Wilfried Zaha to pick up the ball in the Liverpool box

Anfield held its breath as Zaha faced up 18-year-old Rafael Camacho.  Camacho had only just come on after James Milner was sent off for picking up two yellow cards

But the youngster produced a tackle that Klopp has since described 'the most important challenge of his life

' CAMACHO'S LAST-MINUTE TACKLE ON ZAHA  Take a look:  Seconds later, referee Jon Moss blew his whistle as everyone associated with Liverpool breathed a huge sigh of relief

And the German boss has since paid tribute to Camacho for his role in helping the side see out their victory

"I told him immediately after the game that he'd already made the most important challenge of his life," Klopp said, per the Liverpool Echo

"I'm not sure he really got it – he looked at me like 'What is he talking about?' – but it was really massive

"He's good in defensive challenges. He's an offensive player in his mindset and everything but look at our full-backs and where are they most of the time? You need these offensive skills

"On the other side there will be moments when you are alone on the pitch against a world class player and they are looking to nutmeg you or whatever

"It is the learning process Robbo (Andy Robertson) went through. He was a fantastic left-winger but played full-back and now he is a full-back

That's really cool.  "I was really happy in that moment but I have seen similar situations from him (Camacho) before

"  Following Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury and Milner's suspension, Camacho may be called upon when Leicester visit Anfield on Wednesday 30 January

Klopp's decision to loan out Nathaniel Clyne to Bournemouth is now looking rather questionable…

Life-threatening cold weather sets in across the Midwest and Northeast - Duration: 8:14.

Bitter cold is setting in after a major winter storm blanketed a wide swath of the country in snow, sleet and rain this weekend, creating dangerously icy conditions that promise to complicate cleanup efforts and make travel challenging on Martin Luther King Jr

Day.  Some of the coldest temperatures felt so far this season started to set in across the Midwest and Northeast on Sunday and were expected to plunge further overnight

Advertisement >  Wind chills would bring temperatures into the teens in the New York City area and down to minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit in upstate New York, the National Weather Service predicted

In New England, they'd fall to as low as 20 degrees below zero around Boston and as low as 35 below zero in parts of Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire, the service said

Temperatures across the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and the Mid-Atlantic would drop 10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit below average, the service said

"It's life-threatening," said Ray O'Keefe, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Albany, N

Y. "These are dangerous conditions that we're going to be in and they're prolonged, right through tomorrow

"  The freeze will follow the weekend's run-ins with power outages, canceled trains and planes, overnight stays at the airport and traffic jams

Officials warned residents to limit their time outside to prevent frostbite and to avoid treacherous travel conditions

They also said places could see strong wind gusts, flooding and further power outages

Utilities in Connecticut reported more than 20,000 customers without power by Sunday afternoon

"We had more freezing rain and sleet than we expected," Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin said Sunday as public works crews across the state raced to clear and treat major roadways before dangerous black ice could form

Amtrak canceled trains across the Midwest and Northeast over the weekend, but promised full service would resume Monday

Boston's transit system urged commuters to allow 10 to 15 minutes of extra travel time and warned of icy conditions for pedestrians come Monday

The storm — caused by the clash of an Arctic high-pressure system with a low-pressure system coming through the Ohio Valley — wreaked havoc on air travel and other forms of transportation all weekend

More than 1,500 flights were canceled nationwide Sunday, according to FlightAware, a flight tracking company

Among the hardest hit was Boston's Logan Airport, where stranded passengers lingered Sunday as typically bustling security lines, ticketing counters and baggage claims were largely deserted

Xavi Ortega, a 32-year-old engineer from Spain, said he and his wife slept overnight at the airport after their Saturday night flight home to Barcelona was canceled

He said the couple hoped to board a flight Sunday night.  "We've been sleeping, playing Candy Crush," Ortega said when asked how'd they been passing the hours

Advertisement >  A ferry service route across Lake Champlain between Vermont and New York was also closed Sunday and flights were mostly canceled at major airports in Vermont and New Hampshire

In the Midwest, where it dumped 10 inches of snow in parts, the storm caused a plane to skid on a slick runway at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport on Saturday, though no injuries were reported

In Kansas, a snowplow driver was killed when his vehicle rolled over, and in southeastern Missouri, slippery conditions caused a 15-vehicle crash on Interstate 55 on Saturday

One saving grace of the storm: heavily populated coastal communities from New York to Boston largely escaped major snowfall after days of sometimes dire predictions

Manhattan saw mostly rain while places along the coast in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts recorded 2 to 5 inches of snow

Mountain regions saw significantly more, to the delight of ski resort operators

New York's Adirondacks registered up to 20 inches while western Massachusetts' Berkshires saw as much as 10 and parts of northern New England were on track to approach 24 inches of snow

Nicholas Nicolet and his son Rocco, 6, welcomed the fresh powder as they cross-country skied on the sidewalks of Montpelier, Vt

, early Sunday.  "We think it's great," Nicholas Nicolet said during the storm.  President Trump urged Americans affected by the winter storm to "be careful" in a tweet early Sunday

But, as he's done in the past, Trump conflated the short-term weather phenomenon with longer-term climate change

The White House's own National Climate Assessment recently rejected the idea that a particular plunge in temperatures can cast uncertainty on whether Earth is warming

"Amazing how big this system is," Trump tweeted. "Wouldn't be bad to have a little of that good old fashioned Global Warming right now!"
