We work with patients in a variety of ways, we work with infants in the neonatal intensive
care unit all the way up through adolescents and teenagers and our big focus is on play
and making the hospital a more comfortable place and whatever that looks like for the
child we strive to be able to provide that.
I'm really privileged to be not only a certified child life specialist but also the manager
of the child life program here and Kaia has a really unique roll to work with myself and
another child life specialist in pediatric radiology and radiation oncology helping kids
and their families to cope through some scary experiences or experience that might be scary
for them.
When we are able to engage kids in play they forget about their environment, they forget
about pain or anything thats happening in the hospital and thats really when we see
kids heal quicker and faster.
Child life has helped us with activities and keeping her mind off of her medical conditions
and keeping her content and giving her crafts and different supplies.
Child life was really great for us, one of his favorite things was when a therapy dog
got to come into his room and lay in his bed.
I had my tonsils taken out last year and it was really hectic and they would bring me
coloring books just to keep my mind off of things and keep my anxiety down.
We also you know engage our siblings of hospitalized kids and all of the family members in almost
every activity, it's really open for the entire family.
We value family here at Penn State Children's Hospital and the care and support that family
members provide to the patient is just incredibly important.
Thanks because all this stuff is like helping us when kids are in the hospital for a long
time they have something to do while their in the hospital.
Thank you, and keep up the good work, cause it does matter, it matters a lot.
We could not have gotten through what we got through with out the love and support and
the help of child life.
It was just amazing, I remember, even child life they had these exercise mats and I would
come and take him out of the crib and we would lay there and read the books.
Did child life like give the video games room too?
Child life your amazing, for those video games.When kids say they don't want to leave the hospital
because they've had fun here or felt comfortable here that is the best part of the job for
us because we know they've had a positive experience and down the road we know that
they might not be as afraid if they have to come back.

so you can have even more projects and 3D plans to make them yourself

The Second focus will be synergizing!!!
Create some nice collaboration between our sponsors/ partners and the most active members in our community
As you may have seen in some of the videos I have been approached by brands and started to present their products
devices and even making some test reviews…
And to be honest with you, it's not an easy task to do it
but the fact that brands believe in what our community is doing
gave me all the motivation I needed to make those presentation a success and a win-win for all parties.

MUST HAVE MODS! (January 2019) | The Sims 4 - Duration: 13:25.
Hey folks! How's it going? This is Iron Seagull here, back with another mod video
for The Sims 4, though this one is going to be a bit different, because instead of
just focusing on one mod, this is a compilation of some of my must-have mods
as of January 2019! And I do want to focus on a more mixed
bag of mods you may have heard of, and mods you may have not heard of because
there's definitely some mods out there that I think are really good additions
to our games, but just aren't talked about a lot for some reason. So I'm not
really going to spend a lot of time talking about the UI Cheats Extension or
MC Command Center, because at this point I feel like those two mods are talked
about to death...you've probably heard all about how great they are, so I will still
link them in the video description below if you haven't already downloaded them,
but I do want to spend more time talking about other mods. So without further ado,
let's get right into it. Also yes, I am a sim now. *Please help me* So first up is
the Automatic Sunburns mod created by flerb. While there was some controversy
about the lack of really deep snow in the Seasons expansion, another pretty
notable thing that's missing is sunburns. So here comes flerb to the rescue...though
funny enough, this mod actually came out a few months before Seasons was even
announced. I'm really surprised this mod isn't brought up more often, because it
is pretty in-depth. It works just as you would expect it to, with your sins slowly
getting more burnt the longer they're out in the sun, and how fast they burn
can change depending on the weather, time of day, how much clothing they're wearing,
and whether or not they're wearing sunscreen. If you want your sim to get a
tan it's definitely best to go out around noon on a sunny day, but what
really makes this mod go above and beyond in my opinion is that it's not
just about sunburns! There's more. There's some other optional add-ons that go
along with it. One of them is a vitamin D
game mechanic. If your sims don't go outside and get some sun often enough,
they will develop a vitamin D deficiency. If you still don't have your sims get
some sunlight, they can eventually die from exhaustion.
Another add-on is for skin cancer. The more times your sim gets sunburned, the
higher the chances that they get skin cancer, and the chances increase with age
as well. This can also result in death eventually. Spots appear on your sim's
skin to indicate that they have skin cancer. There's also an optional reward
trait that make your Sims immune to sunburns, and one last add-on lets you
place these little squares that allow sunlight to shine on them, for example if
you want to use them inside of glass roofs, or on pools. flerb also plans on
adding more features like tanning beds, a tanning skill ,and towels for sims to lay
on. So I'm definitely looking forward to that, and even if Maxis still adds a
sunburn feature in the future alongside a tropical beach pack or something like
that, I don't think it'll be as in-depth as
this mod. The one thing that I can imagine an official EA sunburn feature
doing better is the animation, because when your sims put on sunscreen or
drink the aloe vera juice to help them get over the sunburn faster, they just
drink it out of a bottle! *Laughs* It's a little bizarre but...still a pretty minor
complaint in what's otherwise a pretty amazing mod. There's also another add-on
that you need to download if you plan on using this with the next mod that I'm
about to talk about, which is the Slice of Life mod by KawaiiStacie. She makes
so many great mods, but this one's my favorite. It adds a lot more realism to
our sims, mainly through changes in their appearance. For example, your sims blush
when they're flirty, get bruised eyes after losing a fight, teary eyes when
they're sad, and they can get a very red face when they need to puke.
But your sims can also be drunk, get acne, and children can even lose teeth! But
there's also new phone menus with a whole bunch of options, which to be
honest I keep forgetting about. Just to record this video, I did record some
footage going through that stuff, and you can text other sims and I haven't tried
the mean ones yet, but the friendly and flirty ones boost positive reputation by
a crazy amount if you have Get Famous. It's a bit OP! But there's also apps to
help build certain skills. There's even a Mall Tycoon one that's supposed to help
build the hidden retail skills from Get To Work. Oh, and one other thing. If you have
this mod installed, don't let your sims get their bladder
motive too low too often...otherwise they risk getting an uncomfortable bladder
infection. Really! Yes! That is a thing, and it's happened to me multiple times now.
Overall, I think this mod is fantastic and definitely a must-have, and I don't
know just go ahead and try it out for yourself. You might have some funny
experiences. I'm just gonna share a reaction that happened during my Get
Famous let's play back when I first started playing with it. Let's introduce ourselves to...
WHOA! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! To Janessa's face? OH MY GOD! I'm sure this is from the
Slice of Life mod as well...tired, red eyes...oh okay that's from
Slice of Life mod as well. So the next mod on this list is a career mod. There's
so many career mods out there, and I decided well I definitely need to put
one on here, so I went with my favorite one overall, and it's the Airline
Employee Career by Simmiller, and it has a whopping SIX branches. You can see them
on the screen right there. So there's quite a lot of replay value with this
one. It is a rabbithole career just like a lot of the careers are in the game
right now, but what's also really cool about this
career is that Simmiller actually has worked for a major Canadian airline for
over a decade, so this person has actual experience
with the job that they've created. Even though there are some creative liberties
taken, there are a lot of jobs where it's like oh yeah it's just like a job title
that you would have in the airline industry. Other than that, I don't think
there's really much else to say because it is a rabbithole career so there
isn't really too much to explain about it. But yep there's just more options for
your sims job-wise, which I think The Sims 4 definitely needs. And it is a
career that I can imagine being in the game as well ,and just the fact that
there's six different branches...yeah there's just so many different ways that
you can go and stories that you can tell even though your Sims still vanish to go
to the workplace, but yeah you can really help add more to the backstories of
your sims and like the Sunburn mod I'm surprised this career isn't talked about
more often, because I do think this one really deserves more recognition. Next we
have the fanart maps by DerShayan and NoirSims. These replace the default EA
maps with these gorgeous detailed ones that represent what you actually see
in-game a bit more accurately. While they don't change actual gameplay at all, I
still consider these a must-have because I think presentation value in video
games should count for something, even though they obviously aren't the
most important part. And just looking at these amazing maps gives me more energy
to jump into Live Mode and play. At the time of making this video, nearly every
world map has been redone. The only one left is Selvadorada from the Jungle
Adventure game pack. I always get so excited whenever a new map is released and
I hope we get to see what Selvadorada looks like in this art style. So for this
next one I'm gonna cheat a little bit, because this is a combination of a few
different mods that are all related to my favorite expansion pack for The Sims
4 so far: Seasons! This was a very difficult decision, because I really
wanted to show off something from LittleMsSam. Because
she's made so many great mods, but I wasn't sure which ones. And I thought
well why not go with a couple of mods that make my favorite expansion pack
even better? So yep it came down to those and then also I rolled in icemunmun
because she made some traditions that cover different areas than the ones that
LittleMsSam did. So that's why I'm putting all of these into one. As much as
I love Seasons, I feel like they really didn't do enough with the traditions and
the holiday icons that we were given, so these mods I think really helped
solve that problem. You can even see on screen right now there's ones like watch
movies and Voidcritters and puppet shows and pet related ones. There's a
custom holiday that I have in my game now called Pet Appreciation Day that
would not be possible without mods and I'm pretty grateful for that, and it just
adds so much more variety to the game. And last but certainly not least, we have
the Private Practice mod by SimRealist. While there are still more updates to
come in the future, this mod is already one of the coolest gameplay mods I've
seen. It gives the health system more depth. Sims will now feel the need to go
for a checkup every once in a while, which involves them disappearing off
their lot for about an hour or so, and then when they come back you're given a
pop-up that tells you their weight, blood pressure, and the recommended time until
their next checkup. You'll need to watch your Sims health more often in aspects
like their fitness, because if they're overweight for example, they get tired
quicker than normal, and they have a shorter lifespan.
Another example is sims with low blood pressure being prone to dizziness and need to
drink more water. In addition, a new rabbithole career was also added, where
your sim is a Health Sciences student which then branches off into Medical
Resident and Veterinary Resident. So overall I definitely think this mod is a
must-have, especially if you want more realistic gameplay and you do think
that the health system is pretty lacking even with Get To Work installed. And
there you go! Those are some of my must-have mods for The Sims 4 that I
think just make the game an overall much better experience. I'm pretty sure
I'll need to do another one of these in the next few months or so, because while
I really did go over some great ones here, I think I've just scratched the
surface. There's a lot more great mods out there by a whole assortment of
different creators...and I mean why not right? I'm sure there'll be even more
great mods that aren't even out yet at the time of making this video. And yes
just with The Sims in general, I think the community just makes the game so
much better with mods. And yeah we'll see what happens in the future. And by the
way, I have done reviews on all of the mods featured in this video...well except
for Slice of Life. I've showed it off just through my Let's Plays, but yeah
with all the other mods I do have individual reviews for each, and well
with the map replacement mods I've done multiple installments of them, so I will

Hey new dancers! We're here to tell you three things, plus ten extra at the end,
that you're doing right now, that you need to stop.
First thing you need to stop doing is commenting "song?" on every video that you see.
I mean this in a very general sense. You can't wait or rely on other people to teach you something
Mistake number one: not taking initiative.
If you don't know a song, run it through Google or Shazam.
I'm sure you can find it online. If you want to learn a certain style,
look up the resources. It's the internet, it's magic, it's the future.
And if you want to learn certain skills, well you just have to practice it yourself.
Don't blame where you live or the people around you, that's loser talk,
and you're not a loser are you?
You have to be a self-starter if you want to succeed. People aren't gonna spoon feed you what you need to know.
Mistake number two: being a fan and not a student.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with being inspired by or motivated by
amazing dancers, but there is something wrong with idolizing, or being infatuated
with this idea of them. When you see someone as being above you, you're
indirectly putting yourself below them. But, if you just see your roles clearly
as teacher and student, or entertainer and audience, or just dancer to dancer,
then you can just be real, respectful, and learn as much as you can,
without being all weird about it.

Another mistake that you might be making, is always trying to do
the biggest moves or the most complicated choreography, right away.
Mistake number three: not building a foundation.
It's great that you know what you want to look like when you dance because your
aspirations will guide your training, so you're also not just taking random dance classes.
But, as a beginner dancer, the best advice you'll ever get is to
Learn. Your Basics. First.
No matter what you want to accomplish in dance, having a strong foundation
is always the right way to go. At this point you're probably thinking,
"Holy shirts! What other mistakes am I making?"
So here are some rapid-fire tips for you new dancers.
Always warm up before you dance and stretch after.
Support other dancers, there's room for everyone.
Class is about learning, not the video.
No one cares if you mess up, only you do.
I care.
Being mindful during one class will help you way more than being mindless in ten classes.
Don't go to an all-you-can-eat buffet before you dance.

This Is Why You Aren't Finding Any Shield In Fortnite... (Fortnite Battle Royale) - Duration: 10:41.
Hey what is going on guys, in this video today we're gonna be going over the recent shield
drought which has been an ongoing problem in Fortnite.
The lack of shield availability in Fortnite is a complaint that has started to become
more and more common in recent weeks.
Obviously, there are always going to be those random unlucky games, where you loot maybe
loot 3 or 4 chests and 1-2 full buildings without finding any shield.
However, not only are those types of games suspiciously becoming more and more common
for a lot of players, but, you're also starting to see some truly insane examples of how hard
acquiring any kind of shield can be.
I saw a video a few days, and I'll throw it in the description as proof because you probably
won't believe it, this guy opens 17 total chests in a regular Fortnite game without
receiving even a single item which gives shield.
That is plain and simple something that should never ever happen, and you may wanna just
chalk something like that up to just some incredibly bad luck, but, I think there's
a lot of other factors at play here.
Luckily, an Epic employee just announced that they are planning to make slight changes to
try to combat this problem, but, it remains to be seen if it will make a noticeable difference.
This is a really important issue, because a lack of shield changes the way that Fortnite
is played, and also increases the amount of RNG present in the game.
So, this should be a really interesting video, and without further ado let's get right into
it.
Alright, so to begin to understand the problems that are leading to this shield drought in
Fortnite, we need to first take a look at all of the different types of shield available
in the game.
So, in total there are 4 different items which can grant players shield in Fortnite: Mini
shields, big shields, slurp juices, and chug jugs.
And, I'll also mention the shield mushrooms which naturally spawn on the map, even though
they don't really count as an item, since you can't get them from chests or floor loot
drops.
Let's take a look at when each of those shield-giving items were added into in Fortnite.
The big shield has been in Fortnite Battle Royale since it's initial release in September
2017.
Slurp juice was added to the game in update 1.6 in October 2017.
Mini shields were added in update 1.11 in December 2017.
And finally, the chug jug was the last shield item added in patch 2.3.0 in January 2018.
Do you guys kinda see what I'm getting at here?
At the time I'm making this video, we have now gone almost exactly 1 year without any
kind of new item which grants shield being added to Fortnite.
And we all know how active Fortnite is with their updates, at this point, we're basically
getting some kind of new weapon or item added to game every single week.
It's just absolutely crazy to me that with how much Fortnite is constantly changing and
evolving, if you teleported back a year into the past, there would still be the exact same
healing items available as there is in Fortnite right now.
I mean, just compare that to mobility items available right now.
A year ago there was no grappler, no rift-to go, no balloons, no shopping cart, no ATKs,
no planes, just totally different.
And that type of constant change is really the same for any category of items or weapons,
except for the shield items for whatever reason.
And the fact that Fortnite is so active when it comes to adding new content to the game,
is actually one of the biggest factors that is leading to the lack of available shield
on a game to game basis.
Think about it like this: Every chest in Fortnite spits out the same 4 things every time.
A weapon, ammo for that weapon, a stack of 20 materials, and a consumable/throwable item.
Each new item/weapon that is added into the game creates more competition for that weapon
spot and for that consumable/throwable item spot.
And, it's kinda the same deal for floor loot spawns too.
Using the weapon slot as an example, that's one of the biggest reasons why I always get
happy whenever very bad weapons get vaulted.
It makes it so that they're no longer taking up spots in the item pool, and therefore,
increases your chance of finding actually usable weapons in chests and on
the ground.
But, Epic does something else that makes this problem even worse.
I'm not sure if they've ever publically admitted to doing this, but, if you pay attention,
you'll notice that anytime Fortnite adds a new item, they'll increase the drop rate of
it for the first couple days after it was added to the game.
I'm not 100% sure if they do it for every item or just the majority of them, but, the
2 most notable recent examples I can think of were the mounted turret and the gliders
item.
The gliders item especially was just outrageous, I think they've finally brought the drop rate
down to a more normal value, but between like Tuesday and Friday it was just insane how
often you would see them on the ground or in chests.
Now, as I mentioned in the beginning of this video, it was announced today by Epic Games
design lead Eric Williamson that "Coming this week there will be small tweaks made to shield
availability, a reduction to the spawn chance of mobility items and vehicles, and a few
more vaults."
Now the term "small tweaks" being used when describing the changes to shield availability
certainly isn't the most encouraging thing in the world, but, it's definitely a step
in the right direction.
On top of that, I think the reduction to the spawn chance and potential vaulting of certain
items may actually end up being the more impactful change here.
I'm just hoping that whatever changes Epic end up making actually cause a noticeable
increase in the availability of shield.
So now that you guys understand some of the main things that lead to the shield drought
in Fortnite, I wanna go over why this is such a major problem.
At the end of the day, I truly believe that Fortnite is a game which is designed for players
to consistently have at least some amount of extra shield on top of their base health.
About 2 weeks ago, I made a video on my channel where I talked about the impact that bloom
has on Fortnite.
And, my general thoughts on it were, although it's a very fluky and RNG based mechanic,
Fortnite wouldn't be the game it is today without it.
What makes Fortnite so much different than all of the other shooter and battle royale
games out there, is the fact that being able to reaction build to protect yourself creates
a very major skill gap.
In Call of Duty, if a decent player catches you with your back turned to them, you're
dead 99/100 times.
I've never really played much PUBG, but, I'm guessing it's pretty much the same thing there.
If you were permanently stuck at 75 or 100 health in Fortnite, it would become a lot
more like those types of games.
Let's just say you go the first 5-10 minutes of a game at 100 green health with no shield.
You can be 1-shot body shotted by any pump shotgun over green rarity, you can be 1-shot
body shotted by any of the sniper rifles in the game, you can be 1 bursted by either of
the famas's, and you can be 2 shotted by any scar, silenced scar, or heavy AR if one of
those 2 shots landed is a headshot.
Any as I'm sure you can imagine, being at 75 health makes these problems so much worse.
At the end of the day, shield basically prevents you from being killed before you have the
ability to reaction build in the majority of scenarios.
I mean, just being at 125 total health instead of 100 total health, makes it so that the
only weapon in the entire game which can 1-shot body shot you, is the heavy sniper.
Plus, making shield less common simply makes it so that the players who get lucky enough
to actually it, are at a much bigger advantage than ever before.
It would be so much better for shield to be overly common to where every body has it,
then for it to be really rare where finding it gives you a significant advantage over
every body else.
So, let's talk about some of the potential ways to fix this problem and prevent it from
ever happening again.
First off, I think the first step is to add a new shield-giving item into the game.
To say that Fortnite is due for this, is definitely an understatement.
Ideally it would be somewhat common so maybe green or blue rarity and it could literally
be anything.
I saw a great idea online where it's basically just a campfire that gives 50 shield instead
of 50 health.
Obviously, that would be really powerful in squads especially so even purple rarity for
it would be fine.
And, I mean we have mini shields and big shield so why not like a green rarity medium shield
which you drunk and it gives you something like 35 shield.
I don't think anyone really cares if it's "cool" or a super creative idea, as long as
it gives us shield I'll be 100% ok with it.
Also, I think what Epic is doing is a positive thing as well.
Vaulting and lowering the drop chance of other weapons and items in the game, makes it so
that shield stays more common.
As long as they continue to do that and keep the weapon and item pool less diluted with
mostly useless things, it should keep the problem more or less under control.
And finally, another really interesting idea I saw was to add a 5th item slot to chests.
Instead of having it be weapon, ammo, materials, and consumable/throwable item, they could
instead makes it weapon, ammo, materials, consumable item, and throwable item.
They would probably need to make some changes to the drop chance of certain items to make
this work, but, that is a more dramatic solution which would really make a major difference.

Man has blast at bachelor party after accidentally receiving an invite - Daily News - Duration: 8:01.
The Arizona man who was accidentally invited to a Vermont bachelor party due to a typo has returned after a weekend of fireworks, ski crashes, and 3am mosh pits.
Will Novak, 35, became a social media sensation as he told the story of how he hilariously ended up on the guest list for Angelo Onello's bachelor party.
Novak had received an email meant for a different Will Novak in New York, but the party decided to let him come anyway - after vetting him on Facebook, of course.
Now .
When Novak finally met the famous Angelo - who only found out he was coming just days before the trip - it was 3am on Saturday morning.
Novak had just driven up to the group's ski chalet after flying from Phoenix to Boston and driving to Ludlow, Vermont.
'When I got there, I showed up, it was three in the morning, these guys are shooting fireworks off, shooting fireworks in the house,' Novak told Good Morning America.
'They're playing guitars, they're shredding metal, it was completely insane, they're doing a mosh pit. They were just partying and going ballistic, it was amazing.'
Novak posting his first photo from the bachelor party, sharing a picture of him Angelo, and the real Will Novak all with their arms around each other.
'Bill, Angelo, Will. I rolled in at about 2.30am. It's 3.30 now. Up at 6.30 for skiing!'
They didn't actually make it to bed until 5.30am and Novak slept through his 7.30am ski lesson at the Okemo Mountain Resort.
'We went to bed at 5.30am. It's 9.48am now and we're starting to wake up. #AngelosBachelorParty is kicking my ass already,' he tweeted.
The boys did finally make it to the ski resort around 1.30pm, where they greeted by countless fans who had been following along with Novak's story.
It wasn't all smooth sailing on the slopes, with Novak crashing into a man on one run and the 'Real Will Novak' dislocating his shoulder.
But spirits remained high as a firefighter came up to the boys and said the department would be honored to take them to the bars in fire trucks that night.
'We were like "Let's roll!"' Angelo recalled. 'They were cranking the horns, we took a nice photo with them.'
Novak and another man in the group who also doesn't drink helped get the party from one bar to the next and made sure no one drove home drunk, he told USA Today.

The bachelor party was amazed at how many people knew their names, screaming at them like they were celebrities.
'I thought I'd died and gone to heaven,' Novak, a former stand-up comedian, told Good Morning America.
'Party is winding towards bed at 4:15am. Early night tonight! #AngelosBachelorParty,' he tweeted that night.
Novak shared few pictures from the chalet, revealing he had been told it was 'sacred, secret ground'.
'But if you're wondering, it looks like a tornado hit a hoarders basement right now. Marie Kondo would have a panic attack,' Novak added.
'The condition of our provisions is appalling. We have meat yet no buns. We long ago ran out of water bottles & we have no cups. Yet, the men's spirits are not broken. Do not send beer. We have an unlimited supply. #AngelosBachelorParty.'

Novak ended up having to drive to New York on Sunday after his flight was canceled due to snowstorms.
But the weather mishap landed him, Angelo, the other Will Novak, and Angelo's brother Devin - who sent out the original email - all on Good Morning America.
'We had a great time, everything fell into place. It was a totally remarkable story and we were just rolling with it,' Angelo said.
'We didn't know what was going to happen and honestly the public out and about made it even better.'
It has been an incredible journey for Novak, who didn't expect anything to come out of a joke reply he sent off after receiving the bachelor party invitation two weeks ago.
'All, I do not know who Angelo is. I am a Will Novak who lives in Arizona. Vermont seems like a very far way for me to travel for the bachelor party of a guy I've never met,' he replied to the group chain.
'That being said: f***ng count me in! From the contents of this email, Angelo sounds tremendous and I want to help send him off in style. I hope his bride (or groom) to be, is awesome.'
'I can bring my sweet Nintendo Switch so we can play games in the cabin/chalet/whatever in the evenings. If Angelo isn't into video games I'm happy to bring suduko puzzles or just Indian Leg Wrestle or whatever he likes,' he added.
'If you can all advise me on the nearest airport to fly into, I'll make arrangements forthwith. Yours in partying, Will Novak.'
Novak thought the joke would end there but, amused by his enthusiastic reply, Angelo's friends insisted he attend.
When Novak originally looked up the cost of flights, they were around $250. The amount skyrocketed, however, making the trip out of his reach.
Undeterred, he launched a GoFundMe page in the hope of raising his air fare, enough money for a ski pass, and some cash to put towards food and beer.

Apple replaced 11 million batteries in 2018 during its $29 replacement program.
During a normal year, Apple expects to replace between one to two million batteries.
So, they replaced around 10X as many batteries as they expected.
That news just came out.
Apparently, gone are the days when Apple can assume that everyone wants the newest model.
Moser: I did that battery replacement on the 6 when they were offering that thing because
they were pulling back on the performance of the phone. I took advantage of replacing that battery on the 6.
And it did extend the life of it. I thought it was actually going to be a little bit better. It was OK.
Greer: How much of a threat is this to the business?
There's been a lot of talk about China and the slowdown in China.
But when I see this news as an Apple shareholder, I think this worries me even more.
By the way, I'm not getting a new iPhone.
You've got to bring back the headphone jack and you've got to improve the battery life.
Flippen: Well, you might be alone in that regard.
I have to wonder, do people who work at Apple use Apple phones?
How could they only think that about a million people would want to replace it for the batteries?
I know personally, my phone hardly makes it through a day with the battery life.
It shouldn't have been a surprise for Apple that so many people got their batteries replaced.
But, you know what? I don't think it matters that much.
Apple has such a strong ecosystem.
Push came to shove when I was getting rid of my old 4S.
I was like, I could get any phone on the market, but it's just so much easier for me to go
ahead and get that refurbished 7. It was about the same price as an alternative.
And, yeah, the alternatives are a little bit newer, but the process I'd have to go through
to transfer, it's like, eh, I'll just bite the bullet.
Greer: So, you think this story for investors, a bit of a nothing burger?
Does it matter?
Flippen: It might be a bit of a nothing burger, but I don't think it bodes well for whatever
person made that original estimate. I think somebody lost their job.
Moser: Yeah, it's one where you think, as consumers, this is great.
The phones get better over time. The phone should last longer over time.
That's just the evolution of tech.
But if you're an investor, that kind of sucks, because that means people aren't upgrading
their phone as much as they used to.
So, if Apple wants to get people upgrading more often, they've got to offer more incentives.
Eventually, what that all plays out into is their ability to raise prices on the phones
in one form or another.
We're hitting that peak here, because I think we're hitting the peak of what these phones can do.
I'll say, going from the 6 to the XR, I'm still not impressed with some of the user interface.
I think Apple Pay took a major step back, they added more friction to that process,
in a process where they need to take away as much friction as possible. The face ID is, eh.
We're at a point now where the biggest advancements they can make in these phones, in my opinion,
is to make the battery last as long as it can.
And that, to me, has been the greatest part about going from the 6 to the X, now I have
a phone that can make it through all day without having to recharge it.
But I know those days are limited, too. To Emily's point, Apple is more than just the iPhone.
I know a lot of investors will love to make a big deal out of this.
Let's step back and take a little bit of a longer-term view there and recognize all of
the strengths of this business still. I think they're going to be OK.
Greer: Any chance I get the new model, I get my headphone jack back?
Moser: I really wish. Greer: I'm grieving still.
Moser: I applaud them for sending me the headphones with the new jack.
But I ran into the situation, I was on a plane the other day, and I'm thinking, "I'd love
to plug in and watch one of the movies on the screen there."
And guess what? Greer: You couldn't do it.
Moser: I couldn't do it.

That was a bit of a downer.
These are the advancements, you have to make these trade-offs, I guess.

AFK Arena - Hero guide (Top tier heroes) - Duration: 5:29.
Hi everyone ! I'm making this video to talk about the best
heroes in AFK arena.
Don't forget to check in the description the tier list I made recently.
I'll change it when we will get new heroes or updates about the current hero skills.
First of all, Vedan.
He has a lot of strengths and only one weakness that can also be a strenght for new players.
He is a legendary hero which mean that you'll be able to get him as a rare unit in summons
but you won't be able to upgrade him past level 160.
His ultimate is the skill that make him so strong and the reason you want to focus on
him in early.
His second skill is pretty useful because, he will attack in a line in front of him and
will heal himself when hitting the targets.
This skill will help him to survive to the moment he will use his ultimate.
I will show you how his ultimate work...
As you can see, he heal his life by hitting the ennemy with his first skill, and now he
is again full life...
Next is Brutus.
As a mythic hero, he is a lot harder to get because you will only find him as an elite
unite in summons.
You'll also be able to get one for free when finishing the chapter 14.
His main strenght is his invincibility and immunity to everything for few seconds like
Vedan but only activating when he is low life.
When used with his third skill, that'll let him do more damages and be faster the lower
is his life, he will be able to deal insane damages.
Even better is that his second skill will reduce all ennemies defence by 50%.
And last but not least, his ultimate will deal damages to ennemies in front of him in
a large area multiple time and convert some of those damages into health for him.
That's why you want to be sure that he his low life when using his ultimate.
Here is an example of a Brutus in a fight...
Now Shemira.
Shemira won't be that great in early game because even if she can life steal with her
second skill, she doesn't deal that much damages and is
slightly lacking when compared with the other solo carry.
She can still be used and is easier to build than a brutus because you can get her in the
labyrinth shop and in the end of the chapter 15.
But things will change when she reach the level 161.
Her ultimate that can deal damages to everyone can now also steal their life.
She will enter an nearly invincible state where she deal damages to everyone and she
heal herself continuously.
Moreover her ultimate last 12 seconds which mean that she will be able to use it
again before the end (Of the previous one, bad cut sry)
That's why the best way to play her is in team with Raine she is pretty hard to get
as she is a mythic hero and you can only get her for free in chapter 16
but she is a lot more useful than what most people think.
She is not a solo carry like the other 3 heroes but she is a great asset in any team because
of her ultimate.
When used it will leave a mark on all ennemies and if any of your hero, here for example
shemira kill one.
She will see her energy refilling really fast until full.
That's why this combo is great because shemira will use her ultimate again and again
until everyone in the ennemy team is dead.
She will also raise the damages of your ally and the damages dealt to the ennemy team
Here is a little example...

and as you may have seen, we've been able to deliver on each of the points I told you about last year!!!

The first focus for this year will be on sharing even more recycled ideas for you
so you can have even more projects and 3D plans to make them yourself
And remember we are an active community so if you also have some nice projects to share with us
Post them in the appropriate section in the ATC App
The Second focus will be synergizing!!!
Create some nice collaboration between our sponsors/ partners and the most active members in our community
As you may have seen in some of the videos I have been approached by brands and started to present their products
devices and even making some test reviews…
And to be honest with you, it's not an easy task to do it
but the fact that brands believe in what our community is doing
gave me all the motivation I needed to make those presentation a success and a win-win for all parties.
