Columbia Lake Village South - Residence Tour - Duration: 2:18.
Hi my name is Jamie, I'm a first-year student here at Columbia Lake Village South.
I'm in Arts and Business.
And, Columbia Lake Village South is a 4 bedroom townhouse style residence, filled with upper-year students,
first-year students, as well as graduate students, and its what makes it a very diverse community.
The community centre is a great place for students to come and hang out, to study, or
to just play a friendly game of ping pong.
During the colder months, a free shuttle bus takes CLV residents straight to campus.
The front desk is open from 8am to 12am midnight, 7 days a week.
And the friendly front desk assistant is always here to help.
If you have any questions or concerns, or questions about maintenance, printing services,
or you want to rent out a board game or movies, you can always come to the front desk and
they will always be happy to help.
The laundry room is also located here at the community centre.
It takes WatCard flex dollars as a payment, and also there is lots of washers and dryers
so I never have to wait my turn to do my laundry.
This is my 4-bedroom townhouse and I share it with 3 other roommates.
We each have our own bedroom, and also a shared common area, kitchen, as well as the bathroom,
and furniture and the utilities are all included in the residence fee.
This is our kitchen, it comes fully equipped with a stove, a full-sized fridge, as well
as lots of cabinet space.
I also use the weekly grocery shuttle to get my groceries.
And there is also an optional meal plan that I can get, for days that I don't feel like
cooking.
The living-room is a comfortable space to relax and it also comes with a small patio
area.
Each townhouse has a lot of storage if you need it.
The storage closet also comes with a mop, a broom, as well as a vacuum.
This is my room.
It comes with a comfortable twin bed, a closet, a dresser, and as well as a desk, and a huge
window for lots of natural light.
Every townhouse has a full bathroom upstairs.
And that's all of Columbia Lake Village South, I love living at CLV because of my don Christina,
the open space, as well as rez council.
