In today's episode, we'll be discussing the latest update.
We'll also be telling you about how you can earn yourself a VERY rare paint,
and what's coming your way for the April Fool's Day event.
The first piece of news for today is that,
following our experiments with micro-upgrades for M0s and M1s,
we've also made changes to the micro-upgrade steps
for M2 and M3 modifications.
Now, M2s only have 10 upgrade steps like M0 and M1.
However, M3s have 20.
This will keep the price lower, and make it possible to upgrade more regularly.
We've also increased rank brackets for battles,
so now there will be more battles available for everyone.
It might look like the players with lower ranks
will have a hard time in these battles, but that's not exactly true.
First of all, we've only added a couple of ranks,
so the change is quite small.
Additionally, in recent updates,
we've reduced the difference between high ranks and low ranks,
so the gap won't be so noticeable.
More importantly, it's now a lot easier to find battles.
Another important change is that with this update,
Daily Mission objectives can only be completed in regular, NON-pro battles.
Originally, we created daily missions as a bonus for players who play regularly.
But eventually, players began to abuse this system
by farming supplies and crystals in private battles with mults.
Of course, we have nothing against special rules for closed battles,
as long as they respect the Game Rules.
But when players take advantage of Daily Missions like this... we don't like it.
Of course, we understand that not everyone is trying to cheat the system,
so we've increased the rewards for daily missions by 10%
to compensate honest players.
There's one more part to the latest update,
and it has to do with the dreaded Critical Error.
In episode 126, we told you about critical errors in Tanki Online,
and what triggers them.
What happens, is that sometimes,
there is an unusual chain of events in the game.
Because of this, the client or browser go nuts and the error is triggered.
For the browser and client,
the critical error is like a protective mechanism
that is triggered in situations that it can't deal with.
With this update, we have removed the protective mechanism that triggers the error.
This is a very important step in the direction of finally solving the problem.
However, it has a side effect.
After the update, all the consequences of these unusual chains of events,
will start showing up in the game.
Some of them won't be noticeable.
But others will result in a number of visible bugs,
such as missing textures.
We think that these consequences
are not as bad as being kicked from a battle and losing all your progress.
Now our job is to catch and eliminate all the game bugs we find,
just like doctor House.

Next week, there will be 2 great matches for the Lords of the Points tournament.
On the 4th of April,
the Grand Final for the tournament's Economy category, will take place.
And the next day, on the 5th of April,

a very rare paint, the super cool Spectrum module
with 20% resistance against all turrets, and other prizes.
This tournament has turned out to be very exciting,
and it's impossible to guess who will win, because it's CP mode.
For example, Cartell, one of the toughest teams in the tournament,
was beaten by Death Squad.
Invincible, another well-known team, lost to their opponents 0:3.
And the favorites for the Economy category, Armenians,
were eliminated early in the tournament.
Now, if you want in on the action, we've got some great news for you.
We've just opened registrations for the new Masters of the Sword tournament.
There are three categories: Solo, Tandem and Trio.
Any tanker with a rank of Brigadier or higher,
can participate and win crystals, hulls and turrets, including XT,
as well as Spectrum modules, Gold boxes and the unique paints Gladiator and Impulse.
And now, the event you've all been looking forward to
April Fools Day celebrations.
We've already kicked off the festivities on the 30th of March,
with discounts on Shop kits, as well as Micro Upgrades and speed-ups.
But the main event will start on the first of April,
and there are lots of goodies coming.
This Saturday, on the first of April, for 24 hours,
we'll have 30-percent discounts on all items in the Garage,
except micro-upgrades and speed-ups, which will remain at 25% off.
In-game festivities will also start on Saturday,
and go on till Sunday with the holiday paints, decorations, new gifts, and…
crazy gold boxes!
These will give you crystals, or some kind of surprise, such as:
All supplies activated.
That's double armor, double damage, and speed boost for 5 minutes.
And yes, the supplies will remain active even if your tank is destroyed.
Or you can become invincible for 1 minute,
which would allow you to deliver at least one or 2 flags.
Of course, April Fool's day is all about playing jokes on people,
so some of the gold boxes will contain a bomb
that will destroy everyone within a radius of 10 meters.
Additionally, the special golds can also reward you with,
1, 2 or 3 days of Premium Account.
A good gold hunter could probably farm a couple of weeks of Premium.
Now, crystals.
The special golds can hold a thousand, five thousand,
ten thousand, and even FIFTY thousand crystals!!!
And then there's the contest!
We'll be giving out a fully upgraded Magnum
to 3 tankers who can catch a 5,10 or 50 thousand crystal gold box.
On a final note,
here are two important things you need to know about the special golds,
so pay attention.
First of all, the full supply set and invincibility effects
will disappear if you try to change your equipment.
Second, all of the effects we've mentioned, only apply to the RANDOM gold boxes.
Player-dropped golds will have a regular look
and will contain the usual amount of one thousand crystals.
