Youtube daily report Dec 26 2016

• From the first gun ever to why we have governments we answer some of your most burning

questions about life.

• Hey there, my name is Melissa, I'll be reading out the questions and answers

• I'm Danger Dolan and I'm here to blow your mind with truth

10 – Kaos456 What is a turtle shell made out of?

• A turtles shell is made of the most indestructible stuff imaginable, see check this out- HUgH!

OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE!

AHHHH • WOAH WHAT WHAT!!

AHHH!!

OH GEEZ DOLAN WHAT DID YOU DO!?!?

• I DIDN'T MEAN IT!!!

, I-I-I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!!!

AHH HERE, I CAN FIX THIS!

• Ahh, phew- There we go.

• Both halves of turtle shells are made from bone that has been fused together.

The top half of the shell, the carapace, is made from 50 bones; the bottom half, the plastron,

is a fusion of the collarbone and ribs.

The plates on top of the shell, called scutes, are made from keratin, a material found in

hair, nails and hooves.

A bony ridge joins the two halves of the shell.

9 – Beetle Gaming Why do lions have manes?

• The lions with manes are just overgrown bitter neckbears.

So bitter the beard has encompassed their entire head and wraps all the way around!

They tend to stick away from the pack.

They have their own packs instead that they form with their lion pillow girls.

• The size and colour of a lion's mane sends a signal to other lions about their

strength and capacity.

Female lions will prefer a male lion with a long and dark mane because only a strong

lion could survive in the heat with such a mane, suggesting a strong mating partner.

The length and darkness of a mane also signifies a lions fighting ability to other males.

• * 8 – Air Cube How do worms navigate without

eyes?

• They're usually unable to see past their dang beanies they wear, always wandering all

over.

You just need to call them over they'll gladly come right on over C'mere wormy wormy

wormy • Mmm~

• WHaT!?

MELISSA NOOOOooohh..ehh- he was getting kind of annoying anyway- with all his "deep existential

mumbo jump" • What is a stomach, but just another box

made to confine us and our path of forward momentum…

• Ughh just shut up!

• Worms have the ability to sense differences in light, which they detect with their sensitive

skin.

The worms brain then directs the body in response to the light, moving away from the light since

it paralyses them if they are exposed to it for too long.

The worm can also feel vibrations in the ground helping it to navigate.

*Me* 7 – #1 spot anime lover What happened to

Mayan Indians?

• The Mayans all DIED a gagillion years ago!

They're all done and gone, they're never coming back!

Not much is known of what happened because they were a very secretive people.

Just Ask Spinalpalm, he was an ancient mayan way back in the day before he became a zombie,

tell 'em Spinal!

• Wait whaat, no, no dude I only just died like a few years back, im not even of Indian

decent at all.

I'm right outta Jersey.

• Ahhh I get it, keeping it secret.

Riiiight- you're totally not a Mayan.

• I'm really not!!

• Mmmhmm, yeah, I hear yaaa- loud and clearrrrr • Stop sarcastically winking at me!!

• I CANNNNT!

Ahhh!

• The Mayan civilisation disappeared around 900 AD, leaving their cities abandoned after

1200 years of existence, buried under the rainforest.

No one knows exactly what happened to the Mayan civilisation although there are a number

of theories to explain their decline, such as waring between city-states, climate such

as drought or flooding, and overpopulation leading to the resources being used up.

It is likely that it was a combination of these factors.

• * 6 – Captain Criticals How was the liberty

statue moved from France to America, since its SO heavy?

boats are probably it, but what one exactly?

• There was once a giant boat named the Titanic that carried the statue of liberty

over the ocean.

It was doin' pretty good!

Got halfway across until there was a big snapping noise all of a sudden- Aw man who would thought

a 450,000 pound statue would be enough to break and shatter the ship.

They only claimed it was an iceberg because they were too embarrassed to admit their blunder.

But we did get it there eventually- thanks to a little help.

• The statue of Liberty, a gift from France to the USA, was indeed moved by boat, specifically

a French vessel named Isere.

The statue was completed in Paris then disassembled into 350 pieces and packed into 214 wooden

crates and put on board the boat.

It then arrived in the US on June 19, 1885.

5 – Lucha master 619 What was the first ever gun?

• The first ever gun was- • THAT'S OKAY- I got this one!

Man, my first gun is a beast.

It's got custom grip and is fit for my exact hand.

The sight has a high concentration green laser that can extend for miles and miles.

The gun is totally medicinal and had a breather tube to smoke on the hammer.

Inner L.E.D. lights to verify the ammo and the barrel is-

• MAN!

YOU CANT JUST INTERRUPT ME ITS- just a kinda…woah…dude did you ever feel like we're all just in

one big stomach, just a world to hold us down and keep us dormant and unaware of whats really

going on….

• A Chinese weapon known as a Fire Lance is the precursor to the gun, yet the first

proper gun, called a hand canon, was invented in Europe around 1364.

This weapon used a wick that had to be lit by hand, which then ignited the gun powder

and shot out the projectile.

The first mechanical gun, using a trigger to ignite the powder was the matchlock.

• * 4 – 4turtlegamers Where was the first school?

• The first school was in a place where everything was all sports oriented, the curriculum

revolved only around sports and everyone HATED IT!

It was AWFUL, thankfully they changed it because sports are dumb.

• HEY!

That's not true, sports are amazing way to combine fun and exercise and keep millions

of people active and healthy!

You just don't like them because you're no good at them.

All flabby and pale from staying inside all day- I doubt you could even do any type of

sport.

• Pfft- Nuh huh, I can do any sport just fine!

Better than most people even!!

• CATCH!

• Wat- OGH- • Oww…

• Greek philosopher, Plato, had an academy in Greece, outside the city of Athens, in

a place called Akademia.

It was a school that taught philosophy and is considered the first place of higher learning

in the western world, beginning in 387 BC.

The site of the first public school is in Sichuan province in China and was founded

in the Han dynasty around 143 BC – 141 BC. 3 – Yin The Black How did myths come into

existence?

(Vampire, Werewolf, Fenix and more) • Ughh it's all these dumb people in the

world who always skew and misinterpreted that they perceive and pass it off as fact!

They see something and think it's something else.

• "OooOOoo look!

It's a bat!

Ahhhh- no it's a vampire!." "ahh run!

Theres a wolf over there!

No its not a wold, it's a werewolf!"

Phttt, gimme a break.

*** "OOoooh, a Demon!

We're all dooooomed!"

"Ahh!

A zombieee!

Don't let it eat my braiiins."

Ugh gimme a break "BOO!

A G-G-Ghost!

So scaryyyy" its so overdone.

• * Dolan, there's a perfectly good explanation for all of us being-

• YOU ALL NEED TO STOP PERPETUATING MYTHS AND RUMORS!!

SHAME ON YOU ALL! • Dolan!

Why are you being so mean to all your friends??

• Ughh, Ohh look- another blond 20 something year old girl being the voice of reason, Mmhmm,

yeah right…

*** • Most myths came into existence in order

to explain the world around us in a time before science had fully developed, when superstition

was much more prevalent.

Vampires and Zombies were often used as explanations for things such as a premature burial or a

corpse not looking dead due to being bloated.

People were accused of being werewolves to explain the disappearance of livestock.

The Phoenix however is a much more symbolic myth, representing the search for eternal

life in ancient Egypt and the death and birth of the sun in Arabia and ancient Greece.

It is a symbol of virtue in China and Japan.

2 – SpacedOut45 Why do we have governments?

• There's no reason for it really- Governments sure are stupid- I think we should all have

one overlord that looks over all of us and everything that we do.

What a great non-violent dictator we have here at Planet Hellbent.

We are so very very lucky indeed to have someone strong and powerful like our boss Hellbent-

wow!

• Governments create rules in order to maintain law and order, protecting citizens from conflict.

Putting people in charge of a country is seen as the best way to guarantee safety and protect

basic human rights.

In America for instance these rights are the right to life, liberty and property.

This structure gives people a sense of security and protection against outside forces.

1 – SuperSonicMaggie What was the very first animatronic?

How far do they go back • Hurr Hurrr...five nights at freddys ..uhh

right guys?

Huh huhhhh~…

* • THAT'S THE BEST YOU COULD COME UP WITH

came onnnn man!

• Ughhh so weak dude, soooo weak • That's really just embarrassing… ughh…

• I mean, you tried but, like, ughh, why even…

• Animatronics started with clock makers in Europe in the 17th century, who used animated

figures controlled by the mechanisms in the clock.

These were initially large and placed in towns but later were made for the home.

The first modern animatronics started in 1951 when Disney built the 9-inch tall dancing

man.

This animatronic mimicked the vaudeville tap dancing routines of the time.

Photoshop Tutorial: How to Create Stunning, Glitter-filled, Glass Text! - Duration: 10:42.

Hi. This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

I'm going to show you how to create fun, glitter-filled text encased in glass and how to quickly replace

the text without having to redo the effects. I'll also show you how to easily change its color.

This is an update of a tutorial I did quite awhile ago.

This version is more flexible and efficient.

I provided this glitter texture, so you can follow along.

Its link is located in my video's description or project files below.

Before we begin, if your foreground and background colors aren't black and white, respectively,

press "D" on your keyboard.

Double-click an empty area of the glitter layer and when this window pops up, name it, "Glitter".

Keep in mind, you can use a different texture if you like.

Just make its resolution 150 pixels per inch, so your results will look similar to mine.

Temporarily hide the layer.

We'll make a new layer below it by Ctrl-clicking or Cmd-clicking the New Layer icon.

We'll fill it with a gradient color.

Open your Gradient Tool and make sure the Linear Gradient icon is active.

Click the gradient bar to open the Gradient Editor.

Click the "Black, White" thumbnail and click the lower, right Stop.

Click the color box and in the hexadecimal field, type in 3642BD.

Then, press Enter or Return twice to close both windows.

Place your cursor a bit above the center of your document and press and hold Shift as

you drag the gradient tool straight down approximately this much.

Open your Horizontal Type Tool and pick a font.

I'm using "Frankfurter Medium".

If you'd like to use it, I provided its link, as well.

I'll make its size approximately 300 points, however, feel free to adjust its sized based

on the amount of characters in your text and the font you use.

I'll make it Sharp and Center Alignment.

We'll make the color white, so we can see our text better.

To do this, press "x" on your keyboard to invert your foreground and background colors.

Now, white is your foreground color.

Click on your document and type out your text.

To reposition it, open your Move Tool and move it.

To reveal the glitter texture only through the text, we'll make the glitter layer into

a clipping mask.

To do this, make the glitter layer visible and active and press Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows

or Cmd + Option + G on a Mac.

Make the Text active and click the icon at the upper, right corner of the Layers panel.

Click "Convert to Smart Object".

This allows us to adjust the effects that we'll be adding to it at any time and also

allows us to replace our text if we want without having to redo any of the effects.

Double-click your text layer to open its Layer Style window.

Click Bevel & Emboss.

The Style is Outer Bevel, the Technique is Smooth and the Depth is 100%.

The Direction is Up, the Size is 20 pixels and Soften it 1 pixel.

Uncheck Global Light.

The Angle is 16 degrees and the Altitude is 48 degrees.

Open the Gloss Contour and click the gear icon.

If "Small List" isn't checked, click it.

Click "Ring".

The Highlight Mode is Normal and the color is white.

The opacity is 100%.

The Shadow Mode is Difference and the color is 919191.

Make the Shadow's opacity: 40%.

Click "Contour" and open the Contour presets.

Click "Cone Inverted".

Then, click OK.

Shift-click the Glitter clipping mask to make it active, as well, and make a copy of the

two active layers by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + J.

Double-click "Bevel & Emboss" to open it in the Layers panel.

Make the Style "Inner Bevel", the Angle: minus 144 degrees and the Altitude: 51 degrees.

Make the Shadow's opacity: 30%.

Shift-click the glitter copy and make a copy of the 2 active layers.

Double-click Bevel & Emboss to open it in the Layer Style window.

Make the Depth 550%, the Size: 27 pixels and Soften it 12 pixels.

Make the Angle: 120 degrees and the Altitude: 40 degrees.

Make the gloss contour: Linear, the Highlight mode: Vivid Light and its opacity: 75%.

Change the Blend Mode to Multiply: 30% and make the color's brightness: 35% and click OK.

Make its opacity: 75%.

Click Inner Glow.

The Color is black, the Blend Mode is Pin Light and the Opacity is 54%.

The Choke is 30% and the Size is 20 pixels.

Then, click OK.

We'll convert all the layers that comprse our glitter text into one Smart Object by

making the top clipping mask and active and Shift-clicking the bottom text to make all

these layers active.

Open the fly-out list and click Convert to Smart Object.

Make a copy of it and go to Edit, Transform and "Flip Vertical".

Press and hold Shit as you drag the flpped copy straight down until its close with the top text.

If the flipped text is trying to snap to the top text, go to View and click "Snap" to uncheck it.

Reduce the reflection's opacity to 30%.

Next, we'll fade out the reflection from the bottom.

Click the Layer Mask icon to make a layer mask next to the reflection layer.

Open your Gradient Tool and click the gradient bar.

Click the "Black, WHite" thumbnail and click OK.

Go to the bottom of the reflection and press and hold Shift as you drag the gradient tool

straight up to the top of the reflection.

Next, I'll show you how to quickly replace your text without having to redo the effects.

Double-click either of the Smart Object so open your text layers.

Then, double-click any of the Smart Objects to open the original source text.

If your replacement text is going to be longer than your original, you'll need to make more

room on the sides.

To do this, go to Image and Canvas Size.

Change the units of measurement to Percent and in the Width field, I'll type in 150 to

ensure there'll be enough room.

If you can't see all of your canvas, press Ctrl or Cmd + 0.

Double-click the "T" icon on your text layer to highlight all your characters and type

out your new text.

Open your Move Tool and close the tab of the replacement text.

When you see this message, click Yes to replace your original text with your new text.

Then, close this tab and click "Yes".

Next, I'll show you how to quickly change the color.

Click the Adjustment layer icon and click "Hue / Saturation".

Drag the Hue slider to the right and left.

This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

Thanks for watching!

2016 Aston Martin Rapide S Review - Duration: 3:49.

The Aston Martin Rapide has been on sale since 2010, and it's fair to say the four-door

sports car hasn't been the success the company had hoped for.

The British manufacturer had originally hoped to build more than 2000 examples of the Rapide

each year.

But with sales of just more than 1200 units annually by 2012, the company has now relocated

production of its slinky sedan from its dedicated production facility in Austria, to Aston Martin's

home in Gaydon.

And while the fundamentals of the Rapide haven't changed significantly in that time, Aston

hopes that new equipment and extra performance for the Rapide S will be sufficient to renew

interest in the aging model.

The Rapide name draws its inspiration from the squared-off Lagonda Rapide sedan of the

late 1970s.

Its chassis is an extension of the same one that underpins the DB9, while the long-serving

*six-litre V12 engine gets a mild makeover, adding slightly more power and torque.

The Rapide S also scores a new eight-speed automatic transmission and a revised final

drive ratio, dropping its *0-100km/h time by almost half a second, and increasing top

speed to in excess of 320km/h.

The changes made to the Rapide help it respond and perform like it always should have.

The stiffer rear suspensions and re-tuned steering improve turn-in, the bigger brakes

help it stop better, and the eight-speed auto is remarkably sharp, changing gears just 130

milliseconds.

We love the Vanquish-inspired grille, the lightweight

alloy wheels and the new centre stack interface.

The headlining and upholstery material is stunning, as is the quality of the Quantum

Silver paint, but the faulty driver's power window, ill-fitting passenger-side carpet,

worn door seal and inactive cruise control in our 1500km-old test model were somewhat

disappointing.

On the plus side, there are more options to choose from than ever and the *Bang & Olufsen

Beosound 16-speaker audio system a definite highlight.

Aston Martin allows customisation of just about every facet of the Rapide S, even matching

leather and paint colours to just about any sample you care to provide.

Stick to the script, and the Rapide S will set you back a cool 382,000 dollars.

Of course the Aston Martin Rapide isn't perfect.

It might look better than the Porsche Panamera, but its rear-seat is compromised by a tight

door opening and cosy head and legroom dimensions.

It also doesn't offer many of the driver safety technologies offered elsewhere.

Items like radar cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and keyless entry are obvious omissions

considering the price.

But as a hard-charging grand tourer with the soul of a sports car and the character to

match, the Rapide S does push all the right buttons.

In spite of its weight, it's a keen handler and the performance on offer is scintillating

to say the least.

Whether or not it's worth the asking price, however, is entirely up to you.
