Hey Yall its Kinoshita Yuka (Eng subs by ~Aphexx~)

so today! tadaa I've made Hokkaido's premier dish pork donburi

so when I made that photobook a while back the person who helped me with that's family runs a meat shop

located in Obiriho in Hokkaido Takahashi's Meat shop sent me this

oh yeah BTW I cut my hair... its been a while and as for the color I usually get it dyed to this color

and since I've had my hair bleached the color disappears so quickly I have to dye monthly so that it doesn't turn too light

its been a while since I last had my hair cut and I'm a bit shy/embarrassed about it right now

alrighty lets see how its made

we'll be using these: pork, onion, and butadon sauce

I don't think I'll be using too much of this head of onion but I had it sitting around so.... in it goes!

chop the onion

chop the onion into easy to eat pieces

add a bit of sesame oil to a pan and heat the pork thoroughly once the pork is cooked remove from the pan and

fry the onion in the same pan

once its heated through add the sauce and add the cooked pork and heat through

looks OISHIII

and place over rice, today I've got 7 cups of rice

top with the pork the meat looks so OIISHIII

top with onion tadaa

all done looks so OISHII

today I've got miso soup with burdock I also prepped a salad

I'm thinking of adding these eggs so I have them handy here lets start things off by weighing it

4.45kg with 600g of miso soup and we've got these eggs and salad as well

itadakimasu the meat is nicely marbled and looks oishii

the sweet and salty sauce goes so nicely with this its a flavor that makes you hungry for more rice

the onion is cooked through and tastes nice and sweet

unlike beef sauce this pork sauce is sweeter and sticks to the thick slices of meat nicely its so OISHII

and now for the egg ( Note Raw eggs are completely safe to eat in Japan ) (instances of egg related salmonella is near unheard of) (please keep an open mind with different food cultures)

oh this is goona be so good... even without tasting it I know its goona taste so good

the flavor is a bit milder and the yumminess fo the yolk coats everything !! its so dang good!!!

Obihiro's pork bowl from Hokkaido is so OISHII

meat you can sink your teeth into was so wonderful

the sauce was so sweet and salty it was so OISHII
