Hello, everyone! This is Yana Smakula here at Spellbinders and thank you for joining

me today.

In this video I'll show you how to stamp a beautiful Faux Watercolor Poinsettia background

using our Poinsettia Holiday 3D Shading stamp.

This really is a very easy card to make and the more you practice - the better your result

will be. It might look intimidating at first, but believe me it - this is an easy project to

make and it doesn't take more than 20 minutes to stamp.

I'm going to start working on my project by stamping a sentiment in black ink. Pick

the one that you like best and stamp it somewhere onto your panel. I'm stamping mine slightly

off the right.

I need to mention that you will need to use specialty ink and paper for this project.

I am using Arches Hot Pressed watercolor paper - this is high quality smooth watercolor paper.

Make sure to use watercolor paper and not regular paper as we will be adding lots of

water and the paper must be able to handle all of that water. Do use Hot Pressed paper

and not Cold pressed as Hot pressed paper is smooth and has very little texture and

this is important when you want to get a smooth stamped impression.

As for the ink I am using Tsukineko Versafine Onyx black ink - this is waterproof ink so

it's not going to bleed when it comes in contact with water. We will be adding water here it's

important to make sure your ink will not react with it.

Now that I have my sentiment in place I'm going to work on my background. I picked a

beautiful 3D shading Poinsettia stamp - and this is a beautiful image that already has

shadows and highlights added to it, so you don't have to do a lot of work to make it

look beautiful - the work has all been done for you.

I'm going to use Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers today in Mid Green, Olive Green and

Carmine Red to color this poinsettia.

I will say it is a bit difficult to figure out which sections need to be colored green,

meaning are leaves and which sections need to be colored red. It is helpful to stamp

this image in any ink color, maybe just black onto a piece of scrap paper to make it easier

to see which sections need to be green and which red. I've colored this stamp many

times already so I remember where the leaves are, but I would recommend you stamp it onto

a piece of scrap paper first and use it sort of as a guide.

I used my markers and you can use any watercolor markers for this technique and colored the

leaves as well as the petals. I also added a bit of yellow to the flower center.

You can use one marker for one color or two or even 3 markers if you'd like to add

different shades of one color. I only have one red so I used that, but for my greens

I used a lighter and a darker green markers.

Next, I'm going to spray this image with water - not too much, but not too little -and

again this is where practise makes perfect - do make a few test impressions and count

how many times you spritzed your stamp to remember how much water you need to have the

look you like.

Next, place your stamp onto the paper and be sure to let it sit there for several seconds.

No need to lift it up right away - do give the ink some time to transfer onto the paper.

You can press down a bit, no need to press too hard, lift it up and your first faux watercolor

poinsettia impression is ready.

The beautify of this technique is that no matter what you do - no two images will ever

look the same, there will be slight variations to each.

Now don't rush to clean your stamp - there's still plenty of ink left there - so spray

it with water once again, I'd say add less water this time and go ahead and stamp it

again onto your panel doing a second generation impression.

Again, make sure to let your stamp sit on the paper for a few seconds to let the ink

transfer onto the paper.

I'm going to clean my stamp with a baby wipe and will repeat inking it up, spraying

with water and stamping onto my panel until I have the entire panel filled with beautiful

faux watercolor poinsettias.

Once your background is done let it dry - use a heat tool or set it aside and let it air

dry on its own.

I've trimmed my background to 4 ⅛ x 5 3 /8" and also created an A2 top folding

card base out of brown cardstock.

I have these fun photo corners from Scrapbook Adhesive and I'm going to use them to adhere

my panel onto my card base - I'm adding a photo corner onto each corner of my panel

and once I have all 4 in place will adhere them onto the card.

Once last thing I want to do - is to add twine - I'm going to wrap it several times around

my card and will tie into a bow. And out project is ready!

I decided to show you some things.

What're you gonna show me?

Well, this is one of our latest cars, the new S-Class.

And I'm gonna show some of the driver assistance systems

we have in that car.

What is Active Brake Assist?

Well, Active Brake Assist is a function that's

based on a camera and radar within the car,

and those systems detect

whether there's dangerous situations,

out on the road ahead of you,

or actually at various angles to the car.

And whenever it detects a dangerous situation,

and it feels that you're not paying attention to that,

then it will first warn you.

When you don't react to that warning,

the car will actually starts to brake itself.

First of all, we'll do a dry run,

and I'm just showing you how we test these manoeuvres.

What you see over here, there's this little,

what we call the balloon car.

It's an automatically driven platform with a soft target

on top so that we can run through it, if we need to.

Which of course, in development process,

happens quite a few times.

'cause we're testing the systems to the limit.

Eventually, this car will be hitting us,

or we will be hitting it.

So whatever I do, I have to be absent-minded.

This is really the tricky part of this,

as an expert driver, I would see this target coming,

and I would react.

But now, I'll actually keep talking to you,

I'll actually look over to you and --

Oh no.

And I won't do anything. So that I can't brake.

I can see this car coming across --

Oh my god.

Whoa.

So, needless to say... – You didn't do anything?

I didn't do anything.

I was looking over to you, so I didn't see this car coming.

There was no chance for me to brake in this situation.

Actually, I kept my foot on the gas,

like I would do if I were driving through a city,

looking at whatever, who's sitting next to me.

That is so

unreasonable.

Like how close did we get to that car?

I guess that was about a foot or so,

50 centimetres, maybe.

It always depends on traction of the road.

We try not to brake too early, actually.

The idea is to use up all the time we have,

all the space we have, first of all,

to try to get the driver back into the loop.

You may have noticed, that warning, beeping sound earlier,

which was happening when I still had time to react myself.

If we braked earlier, that would only mean that

we are taking away space from the cars behind us.

So, there's a really sophisticated computer in here,

to calculate all that?

Yes, it's really only a matter of milliseconds,

whether you will hit that car or not.

So, I'm gonna show you that this actually works.

And now this time, we'll make it a little bit less evident

whether we will hit that car or not.

Try to judge for yourself, whether you think –

Whether we're gonna hit the car?

Yeah, whether we're gonna hit that car or not.

And you're gonna try to be absent-minded again?

Again, I won't do anything.

I mean, right now,

yeah, we're probably gonna hit that car.

Oh yeah, we're gonna hit it.

Oh no, oh no. Oh.

Very close, very close.

It was very close.

But we didn't hit it, right?

No, we didn't hit it.

If we hadn't braked, then we would've hit that car.

Did you start braking?

No, I didn't. It was all done by the car.

And now, we'll do the same manoeuvere again.

So, we're going again.

Going again, 50.

And I'm driving a little bit more over to the side,

as you may notice.

Simply because, this is the easiest way to trick

the other car,

'cause this way, let's see whether we will hit it or not.

Oh my goodness. Wow.

You see, no reaction, no beeping.

Nothing happened.

You don't need to warn the driver,

if nothing is gonna happen.

And you certainly don't want to brake if nothing happens.

Let me try one more thing.

I'll try to hit the sweet spot,

where the car actually starts to brake.

Is it gonna be just a little brake?

Yup.

'cause that's all we need?

Exactly.

What's gonna happen or not.

This is gonna be a close call.

Whoa, whoa.

Did you feel the car? – Yeah.

It started to brake, it jammed us back into the seat.

And once the other car was clear of us, we kept going.

It let us keep going.

I never thought about how complicated a problem it is, right?

Because if you brake too much,

that's as big of a problem as not braking at all.

Exactly. – Because you are subject to

collisions from the back. – Exactly.

So, is it impossible to crash this car?

No, it's definitely not impossible,

we're still in the world of driver assistance systems.

So this means that the driver is still in charge,

and is capable of doing whatever he wants to do,

and we think this is quite important for the driver.

So, if you want to override any of these systems,

then you can at any time do so,

by accelerating again, by steering,

whatever you wanna do, you're still in charge of the car.

The Sounds That Are Unbearable (Misophonia explained) - Duration: 7:02.

Just a note – This episode contains eating, tapping and clicking sounds.

There's a fair chance there's a sound that annoys you.

Right?

Think about what that sound is and then consider this:

How does it make you feel?

For me, it's a sound my Mum makes.

Every night she heats up this weird barley milk drink and stirs her cup with a spoon.

Really loudly.

And it's so annoying.

So I've been interested in why people have such impulsive and emotional reactions to

common sounds.

Some of us might be irritated, but other people get angry and even distressed.

Is there more to it?

Now, my friend Molly suffers from Misophonia.

The term literally means a hatred of sound and it's a sound sensitivity syndrome where

people have strong emotional or physical reactions to common sounds – like eating sounds, clicking

or tapping, even certain materials rubbing.

It's easiest for me to start with scraping sounds – I feel like that bothers a lot

of people.

So like...

That's bad.

But like… that's less bad.

And then like… that's okay.

And it's also textural…

I feel like a lot of them are quite textural.

And when you scrape a rough ceramic alongside a smooth ceramic that's a horrible sound

for me.

And people with Misophonia get more than annoyed by sounds – they experience distress.

Muscles become tense, hearts race, chests tighten.

It actually hurts in my teeth quite a little bit.

I get like a weird, it's almost a vibrational feeling in the back of my molars.

It's almost tingle up my neck actually for that one.

It feels almost shrill.

So why do some people have these reactions?

Well, one explanation is that their brains are wired to react to sounds differently.

In a recent study, two groups – people with misophonia and a control group – were asked

to lay in an fMRI machine.

They were played neutral sounds, like rain on a window; unpleasant sounds, like a baby

crying; and trigger sounds, like someone eating.

And when these trigger sounds were played, researchers noticed a big difference between

the groups – in a brain area that helps you spot noticeable things in the environment

and pay attention to themprocess your emotions.

For those with misophonia, this area went into overdrive and it led to higher activity

in other areas of the brains, specifically those responsible for long-term memories,

fear and regulating emotions.

This hyperactivity suggestsmeans people with misophonia aren't processing those particular

soundsemotions the way they should and are reacting to them disproportionately… they

experience the anxiety of a life or death situation when... it's just their girlfriend

eating chips.

But, how do we know that this hyperactivity doesn't happen in all of our brains when

we hear something annoying?

Well, the participants also rated how much the sounds were annoying and distressful.

In those with misophonia, while the trigger sounds caused distress, the unpleasant sounds

triggered general annoyance but not distress.

And the researchers saw this reflected in their brain activity – people with misophonia

didn't have the same hyperactive response to unpleasant sounds.

Though this is one of the only experimental studies on misophonia so it's not enough

to be certain.

We can find some other clues in our behaviour.

"Well everyone gets annoyed by certain sounds"

This is Dr. Ali Mattu, a clinical psychologist with a great YouTube channel.

"But for misophonia it's taking that to more of an extreme.

Where it is very quickly distressing.

The first reaction might be… just get me out of here"

Though despite these extreme reactions that people experience, misophonia still isn't

recognised as a disorder.

And this makes it really hard to get funding to do more research.

"We're not sure what we're talking about when we say misophonia.

There's no agreed upon definition and there's no agreement right now about what are the

key features.

You don't want to cast the criteria so wide that it would fit everyone.

Because then it's not something that's different and uncommon and impairing."

For me, hearing sounds I dislike isn't impairing.

And this is an important distinction – we all get annoyed from time to time, but it's

mostly trivial.

For those with misophonia it's distressful.

"But if I hear a low sound that I really don't like, low vibrational sounds really

bother me, but they bother me in my chest.

I feel them very strongly and it makes me feel like I can't breathe.

I feel like I have to leave wherever I am."

"We need to convince people this is actually a thing.

So a lot more research needs to happen…"

So consider the feeling you get when sounds annoy you – it's probably pleasant compared

to the impulsive, strong reactions that people with misophonia feel have.

Recognising that this kind of sound sensitivity exists and funding more research will help

us pinpoint why people have misophonia and the best ways to treat it.

It always depends on traction of the road.

We try not to brake too early, actually.

The idea is to use up all the time we have,

all the space we have, first of all,

to try to get the driver back into the loop.

You may have noticed, that warning, beeping sound earlier,

which was happening when I still had time to react myself.

If we braked earlier, that would only mean that

we are taking away space from the cars behind us.

So, there's a really sophisticated computer in here,

to calculate all that?

Yes, it's really only a matter of milliseconds,

whether you will hit that car or not.

So, I'm gonna show you that this actually works.

And now this time, we'll make it a little bit less evident

whether we will hit that car or not.

Try to judge for yourself, whether you think –

Whether we're gonna hit the car?

Yeah, whether we're gonna hit that car or not.

And you're gonna try to be absent-minded again?

Again, I won't do anything.

I mean, right now,

yeah, we're probably gonna hit that car.

Oh yeah, we're gonna hit it.

Oh no, oh no. Oh.

Very close, very close.

It was very close.

But we didn't hit it, right?

No, we didn't hit it.

If we hadn't braked, then we would've hit that car.

Did you start braking?

No, I didn't. It was all done by the car.

And now, we'll do the same manoeuvere again.

So, we're going again.

Going again, 50.

And I'm driving a little bit more over to the side,

as you may notice.

Simply because, this is the easiest way to trick

the other car,

'cause this way, let's see whether we will hit it or not.

Oh my goodness. Wow.

You see, no reaction, no beeping.

Nothing happened.

You don't need to warn the driver,

if nothing is gonna happen.

And you certainly don't want to brake if nothing happens.

Let me try one more thing.

I'll try to hit the sweet spot,

where the car actually starts to brake.

Is it gonna be just a little brake?

Yup.

'cause that's all we need?

Exactly.

What's gonna happen or not.

This is gonna be a close call.

Whoa, whoa.

Did you feel the car? – Yeah.

It started to brake, it jammed us back into the seat.

And once the other car was clear of us, we kept going.

It let us keep going.

I never thought about how complicated a problem it is, right?

Because if you brake too much,

that's as big of a problem as not braking at all.

Exactly. – Because you are subject to

collisions from the back. – Exactly.

So, is it impossible to crash this car?

No, it's definitely not impossible,

we're still in the world of driver assistance systems.

So this means that the driver is still in charge,

and is capable of doing whatever he wants to do,

and we think this is quite important for the driver.

So, if you want to override any of these systems,

then you can at any time do so,

by accelerating again, by steering,

whatever you wanna do, you're still in charge of the car.

5 Minute Breakfasts for Winter! Easy Healthy Recipes! - Mind Over Munch - Duration: 5:05.

I don't have time for breakfast!!

Hi munchies!

Welcome if you're new to the channel, I'm Alyssia!

It is not technically "winter" yet, but we're getting pretty deep into fall

and for a lot of us, even in SoCal, it is CHILLY outside and it feels like winter.

I don't know about you,

but when it's cold out, I am way less motivated to do anything,

including move or make food,

so I wanted to share some super quick breakfasts that you can make on those cold mornings

where you may be running behind, and use some seasonal ingredients, too!

First up is a butternut squash oatmeal power bowl!

Simply combine quick oats and your milk of choice in a saucepan over medium heat.

Bring that to a boil, reduce to a simmer,

and stir until your desired consistency is reached.

Then we can add in some butternut squash puree,

of course pumpkin or sweet potato would also work fine here,

along with some vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and a pinch of salt.

Heat through for 1 minute and then serve with your favorite seasonal toppings!

I used chopped walnuts, apples, pumpkin seeds, dates and a bit of maple syrup!

This has some of my favorite flavors from this time of year

and is just so comforting on a cold morning.

Next up is a breakfast I love year-round, but we're going to make it seasonal today:

sweet potato toast!

I have a whole video showing some sweet potato toast options,

if you want to check it out, but pretty much

you carefully cut your sweet potato into slices, and toast it up in the toaster!

For today's toast, I'm topping it with spreadable goat cheese, some fresh figs,

which are one of my favorite things this time of year if you can find them,

pomegranate arils, chopped pistachios, and some fresh thyme.

So delicious!

The feel of toast without any gluten, wheat or processed ingredients!

5 minutes is even more time than you'll need for this easy kale scramble.

Add oil, onion and garlic paste to a saucepan and sauté until fragrant.

Then you can add in your sliced and de-stemmed kale and broccoli

and cook until the kale has wilted down.

Lower the heat to medium, add beaten eggs, and stir until those eggs begin to set!

Add cheese if desired and seasonings,

I used fresh rosemary and sage because this time of year,

I like all of my food to smell like Thanksgiving!

Stir until melted and enjoy!

Such a quick one to whip up and what an easy way to get veggies, protein,

and a healthy dose of dietary fat in a low carb breakfast.

Another lower carb recipe for those of you who want it

is this pumpkin banana blender bread.

Holy moly, it is GOOD!

Now it obviously takes longer to bake, but it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare,

so I figured some of you would give me a pass.

Combine bananas, coconut oil, eggs, milk of choice,

canned pumpkin, maple extract and vanilla extract in a blender.

Add almond flour, baking powder, erythritol or sweetener of choice,

salt, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon and blend to integrate.

Transfer to a loaf pan.

So easy!

Bake until golden on top and a knife or toothpick comes out clean.

Cool completely before slicing.

This will last you all week for a quick breakfast on the go!

For those of you who still like to drink your breakfast in the winter,

may I suggest trying out this mocha shake?

You get your coffee AND meal in one!

Combine frozen coffee ice cubes—which are literally coffee frozen into cubes—

cocoa or cacao powder, dates, and cinnamon.

Blend it together,

and feel free to top it off with some whipped cream or coconut whipped cream

for vegan, cacao nibs, and how about a cherry on top?

INSANE GOLD NUGGET! - Gold Rush: The Game - Episode 1 - Duration: 31:18.

hey this is the black boat panda and welcome to Gold Rush the games this is

episode 1 we're checking out this new game that came out a little while ago

it's based on the Gold Rush TV series and frankly it looks really fun I've

seen a few other youtubers upload videos of it and I had to play it so let's go

ahead and get started here we've got controls here on the left so we're gonna

turn the engine on there we go and then release the handbrake we can go and we

can go alright how do I change the camera like that sweet okay so the first

thing we're gonna want to do is just grab some materials here to get started

which we can get right in here ooh this truck is hard to drive okay

alrighty there we go handbrake and engine off and out of the

truck alright so you can tell how to get started here we can just hit tab open

this up we've got a journal here we go tier 1 so we have to go to the bank rent

arnold's parcel claim go to the warehouse we're gonna pick some stuff up

here we can get this stuff first and then rent it's not a big deal hog pan no

pump hog pan sluice box core to hug pan mats and a bucket easy enough

alright hold shift to run here so here's all the stuff we can buy and there is a

bunch we want the hog pan and no pump want one of those kind of wish it would

default to one sluice box core one of those there we go we want to hog pan

Matt's add those and finally we want a bucket where are the buckets there they

are alright so grab a bucket then we can

check out up here at the register all right so that's gonna come to 155

dollars all right and now all that stuff is

going to be out here in the little pickup area so I'm going to grab that

stuff and toss it in the back of the pickup truck here all right in truck

good all right it was a bucket give me the mat give me thank you okay in the

mat and in the truck mat in the truck there we go what I'm

stuck oh there we go okay all right so one thing that wasn't

immediately clear watching other people play this game is that the controls are

very clunky like I don't know what other word to use to describe them they just

feel so not well done all right there we

go did I get everything yeah all right so

movement is clunky moving items around is clunky start the engine release the

parking brake now we got to go to the bank rent

Arnold's parcel the truck drives a little funny and entirely sure what's up

with the truck it's like it's slow to react come on come on there we go all

right yeah I'll press a key and then the truck reacts like a second or two later

that's what it feels like okay so Bank old Arnold parcel so these

are all the stats price per square foot provision of rent area expected amount

of gold low that's nice dirtiness of the parcel none that's good

large Creek water source state of Alaska owned all right so we're gonna rent this

boom it's $25,000 and we'll be paying that over time and now we can just head

there I get back in the truck start the engine release the parking

brake and we're gonna turn around right onto this sidewalk because why not and

we got to go this way I believe we can turn right in here

we're gonna take the back roads here we can get more machines from this place on

the right here later in the game and OH loading that's another thing the the

loading I've seen other people mention that though the game loads right in the

middle of Driving's not not super fun but the fun I'm looking forward to is in

mining the gold what is the truck doing I have no idea what it just did

oh we got some differential there we go turn that differential lock alright

go through this area here which is where you can sell magnetite which will come

into play later as well sliding around again oh boy

alright alright where am I facing come on camera there we go turn around

alright gotta get used to the handling of the truck here and around the bend

slow and steady alrighty there's the hard part now we

just got pulled in here we go right up to the tent area here somewhere right

about here ish it's fine I'm gonna actually pull in and then I'm gonna back

up alright good enough parking brake and gin and we're out okay now we gotta

carry all this stuff over here

and drop it off here run back for the rest so this is the sluice box we're

gonna place that down right here like so and I would put the sluice box thing

there okay so that's what our dirts gonna go in we're gonna put it right in

there and we're gonna pour water on it and then it's gonna run down here but we

need these mats these are gonna catch the gold place one there and there we go

grab the other one place the other one there nope place okay there ya little

little clunky pick it up and there's our trusty bucket okay and then we can get

another item out of the tent here couple items actually we're gonna need this

wash bin thing drop this off

and then we're also going to need of course the gold pan get get in there in

there thank you anything else in here we can grab no I

don't think so all right gold pan okay and we'll drop

this off here as well all right we can fill this up with water just like that

from the stream drop that off there and we're gonna be using this in a bit just

fill it up with water for now and drop that right there okay so we're gonna use

our shovel here we go and we're gonna shovel out this dirt here this darker

dirt this is the pay dirt the dirt with the gold in it

shovel it in here fill that up pour water over it that's gonna run back out

here and gold is going to be caught in these mats that's the plan anyway so

let's see how much is that that's 20% nice so five of those scoops it's at 40

it's 45 of those scoops and we've got it full three four and five should do it 95

but oh okay why not and then we grab bucket of water and

it's started now we're gonna need more water than that though so grab more all

right this is easy enough

up the hill character doesn't like to walk up hills I've noticed alright I

should do it yep it's that empty that's empty so we

filled these Matt's three percent so we want to get those to a hundred so we're

gonna be doing this for quite a while but when you have a lot of dirt over

here we can use right all this quite a bit or are they making a dent in it

right now but the fun stuff comes later this is the this the getting started

stuff it's the boring stuff right 96 all right grab some more water

more water should take I think three buckets let me double check yeah it's

gonna take three buckets three buckets to process what's in there that gets us

up to 7% all right yeah this is gonna take a while so don't look now but do

look at how much money we have I don't know if that's coincidence

or if the developers are just really hilarious all right so I just discovered

you can actually get tiny shovel fools if you're not careful so like right here

right now we're at 49 if I put that in we only go up to 54 so I was 5% so you

really got to get in there and get big scoops of dirt to fill it up faster so

here's a fun little bug I just discovered if you grab water and then

quickly look in that direction hold down the forward key sometimes you'll like

really speed up let me see if I can get it to do it it's pretty funny we try it

again here no bucket go that time I just dropped the bucket

hahaha how many was that at the last one that was last one I'm gonna try it again

we might get stuck on something I don't know now I'm just dropping the bucket

anyway I did this off-camera a couple of times it worked just fine but what

happened was I grabbed the bucket looked that way trying to move real quick as

soon as the bucket came back up it actually slingshot at me across this

area and way over there like just instantly I was over there so fun little

bug and it actually just happened again I didn't go quite as far that time

though I'm gonna see if I get it to do it again it seems you have to wait for

the bucket to start coming back up so we go here and then look oh there we go

look at that that's great so this seems to be the

easiest way to dig out this area here once you got this dug out you can just

kind of stand here dig right into the wall turn dump it dig dump super easy

you see if I can get it to that water thing here show you you can actually

kind of use this to your advantage a little bit and speed things up by aiming

when it works by aiming at the box sometimes you'll actually jump straight

to it and it kind of speeds things up a bit I can't seem to get it to work now

always seems to work best off camera right yeah all right was that enough

yeah that was enough back to work and on the topic of bugs I'm not sure this

qualifies but it's really annoying when you're down here in the hole and you're

trying to get out yeah you just kind of gets stuck right it's really hard to

walk out you have to kind of do these little hops I'll be down here and you

want to get out just kind of hop out that's just I don't know it's really

annoying I wish it was just a smooth transition so you could just walk right

out and not have to do that but yeah updates are coming steady so maybe

that'll get fixed and since I'm nitpicking already the water like you

have to get right up on it in order to use the bucket and I wish you didn't

have to how far away long look at that 74% we're 3/4 of the way there nice I've

been at this for like an hour but yeah so like I keep wanting to like

use the bucket there and I just drop it instead cuz it's the same key and yeah I

think it'd just be really nice to expand the interactable hitbox on this water

just a hair oh we're almost there

so close

it's gonna be enough it might be

oh so close to 100 if I put any more in there I'll be wasting it well I could do

it one scoop at a time I suppose right like if I do get in there thank you

one scoops that's 18% and then run some water through it it's not gonna be

enough to get us to 100 really a saving lag spike there all right well I'm not

gonna worry about it too much now we can move on to the next process so we're

gonna need a bucket of water okay I'm gonna set that down and we can grab a

mat grab the front one and we use it in the bucket it's gonna there we go and

that's gonna clean the mat off I don't can you do it again no you can't do it

again so used to be able to do it multiple

times but you can clean multiple mats in one bucket that I dunno if you don't

drop it on the ground there we go so now I've got the mats cleaned and we can use

the bucket now on the pan that's gonna pour some of our pay dirt into the pan

set that aside don't worry stuff doesn't spill out of the bucket then we grab our

pan and we use it in this little wash basin so what are the controls for this

again show control is that is that blink can I not show controls space hmm

interesting all right now I can show controls okay

so you have to shift first to go into the panning mode all right once you're

in the gold panning mode we can rotate forward back left and right with Wash D

Keys WASD and let's see now we got it okay so we can move this way move up and

down all right left and right click okay so

left click to go down swirl it around clean it up

get that dirt out there get the gold showing all right and now we can tilt

pour the water out I'm gonna bring it up a little bit now I don't want to try to

get the gold separated so we're gonna pour off some of those dirt chunks and

rocks or whatever they are all right so I'm gonna actually pour off a little bit

more here try not to lose the gold that is the goal here do not lose the gold

okay so then we go shift go in a gold picking mode and then we can pick them

up boom suck that up pick that up suck that up pick that up and how they

looking we got it all all right we got it all so now we can dump this all right

and we can exit panning mode with E and then basically just lather rinse repeat

pick up your bucket broke more pay dirt set your bucket down grab your pan go in

here we're gonna click to go down wash it off water sometimes turns brown

sometimes it doesn't depends on what it wants to do a little bit lower here

alright that looks clean clean we're good I think we're good off the water

all right we got some gold right up on that side so I'm gonna go this way

pour off some of that dirt

all right don't pour off the gold try to get the gold so he can see it and easily

get it out there we go I'd ought to do the trick grab that gold

simple enough making Bank here all right then get rid of that exit so I don't

know how many times you can pan the one bucket it looks like probably four so

we'll go again here clean that off

oh wow turn really dark that time a

little bit lower here we go bring it up pour off that water careful

not to let the gold go over the edge do the other way

all right that I'd be good

very simple process not too difficult at all

pretty grindy not gonna lie pretty grindy oh we got one left

get out of there get no get all right so looks like we got one more load of pay

dirt there yep buckets now empty and this last one we can do and we can see

how much gold we got from that at operation there

clean it up looks good

don't let the gold go over the edge the dirt chunks seem to flow a little faster

and the gold does so it's pretty easy to just kind of do that all right we can

get the the gold to stay in or get a little bit more of this dirt out of the

pan separate them up all right that ought to work

this is the last bit of gold we can get

and why can't I grab these ones well let me grab these ones back

what's going on

yeah I can't grab these ones maybe they're pyrite I don't know fool's gold

we have some fool's gold here okay I'm gonna assume that's the case cuz I

cannot seem to grab these at all yep and I can do about it pour it off okay so

our mats are empty and we've got 0.608 ounces of gold so we do that again we

should have a little bit more than one ounce of gold

I'm gonna check how long that took alright so judging by when I first

started recording that entire process took me about an hour

that was about an hour's worth of work that much dirt to fool max 0.608 ounces

so I guess I'm gonna keep at it for another hour

oh boy okay it's it's 5:30 in the morning for me by the way and I haven't

slept since yesterday fun times all right I'll be back

Oh a little bit more nitpicking and some divided advice here to the developers if

any of them ever end up watching this the ground texture under the dirt why

does it look like the ground texture up top like there's there's green down here

is legit Green down here like how was that green it's got no sunlight I mean

it's got something light now sure but it didn't have sunlight before I started

digging this out I don't know I'm just nitpicking but I really feel like there

should be some nice little texture changes from like a wall of dirt here

down to the floor you know just just nice little things like that I don't

know I've been at this for a while I'm getting tired holy cow that is the first

time I hit 100% on the box I only did five scoops like I always do but the

closest I've gotten so far was 99 and normally it's like anywhere from 93 to

96 that was the first time I filled the box completely in five scoops I am I am

astonished here I wonder if like some parts of the dirt

are better than others or if it's just the way I've been scooping I honestly

have no idea you know a second thought I'm pretty sure it's completely random

hmm so as in game night encroaches upon us here is a handy tip for anybody who

doesn't know about it press l and it turns on your head mounted flashlight

not a whole lot of light but you know it's something to work by when it's

really really dark all right I finally hit 100 again so cleaning the mats

getting all that gold off and trick number two but when it is really really

dark you don't have to work you can just run over here to the handy dandy camper

and use sleep till dawn look at that it's dawn ah alright so for some reason

we now have 0.48 7 ounces of gold I think that's the the license share or

whatever so we were renting a parcel so I guess point two ounces gold went to

the parcel owner or something I don't know anyway now we've got those cleaned

off we got our bucket full of juicy pay dirt here we can start panning again and

clean that off and so that was about quite a bit more work they give us

another 30 minutes or so maybe 40 45 even it's hard to say whoops didn't want

to do that nope oh boy I am I am having issues

hitting the wrong keys hitting the wrong keys alright we're good though we're

good look at that that's clean alright a little bit a little bit left there

alright we're good okay oh we got a gold nugget real close to

the edge there a couple of them don't let those fall off

get these dirt chunks out of here Oh almost lost that guy all right we can

fight grab those there grab that one grab that one there we go making

progress you know find us some big nuggets dump these off grab some more

dirt

keep wanting hit the wrong keys one thing that's a little confusing about

this game is like left click will be used for something like digging and

right click for like depositing dirt from your shovel but then you could also

use the e key to deposit dirt into the sluice box and picking stuff up is the e

key but dropping them is also the e key and it just seems like a mess of like

what keys do what you know I feel like they could kind of consolidate some of

these things like if they made the e key also dig dirt with the shovel or

left-click is what normally picks things up stuff like that

I could make a big difference for the game just help polish it let's grab

these pieces gimme a little tiny ones made big ones I get that one yes I can

oh we've almost got an ounce of gold look at that look at that I might be

able to hit an ounce at this bucket just might be able to clean that off

a little bit higher there a little bit lower all right careful don't want to

lose the gold so I think the idea is that the gold gets trapped in these

riffles mostly although I'm not entirely sure how well that works and they kind

of do they kind of don't we got two sides got a smooth side and like a ridge

side you know I don't know can I get that I get that oh look at that you're

lucky I've never seen anything like that it's the biggest gold nugget I've seen

in 40 years of my experience as a miner I hope it's not just beginner's luck and

you'll use it wisely to stop shoveling and start using proper machines check

out what you need to run the mobile wash plant and don't forget about an

excavator even the smaller one should be enough for you okay nice nice nice oh

wow that is a big nugget indeed that puts us at almost 40 ounces of gold and

we still have a little bit left to process here I think these are okay we

got one one piece of pie right there a little bit of pyrite get out of here

dump that get out of here yeah we've got one more one more bucketful I think

let's see it's the bucket empty bucket is empty so this is the last of the gold

from the mats it's a lot of muddy water get out of here

they're clean now it's clean all right get those dirt chunks out of

here

don't wanna lose that gold so tilt it this way

get the gold trapped in the ridges maybe then tilt it this way and the dirt

should roll off yeah I know that's not working great like the physics are a

little messed up so you can see sometimes they kind of just stop like

that yeah that makes the gold pan a little tricky to use and then the

physics all kind of update when you do something I go grab a piece of gold and

suddenly all the stuff moves alright so that puts us over 40 ounces look at that

nice very nice indeed alright sweet so now we can sell that

gold off and start working with some nicer machines so I don't have to keep

doing this holy cow that was a grind alright but we're gonna save that for

the next episode because this one has run on long enough so thanks for

Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Palette Review | Vegan @phyrra - Duration: 6:44.

Hey, everyone.

Welcome back.

I'm Courtney, and today, I'm going to be sharing my review of the Too Faced Just Peachy palette

with you.

So, I never intended to buy the Too Faced Just Peachy palette.

But, it was one of those palettes that I had some of my local friends, who were like, "You

know, you got us into matte eyeshadow, we bought this palette, this palette is amazing,

you need to buy it."

I saw some reviews online for it on YouTube, and I was like, "Okay, looks like it's a good

palette.

I'll give it a shot, and if I hate it, I'm just going to return it."

So, I went ahead and bought this palette.

Now, just to give you a little bit of background, I've been disappointed with most of the Too

Faced products that have come out in the past, I don't know, year or so.

So, when I bought the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, it was horrible.

I absolutely hated it.

It had poor pigmentation.

It didn't have a lot of peach colors.

The purple in it was a joke.

The smell was horrendous, it made me nauseous, it was so sweet and cloying.

I just couldn't deal with it.

And because of all the hype, and how hard it was to get a hold of the palette, it was

just like the biggest let down.

So, I thought this palette was going to be the same.

And I'm so glad that it's not.

Yes, it does have like a fruit scent, but it is cloying, it is not ... It doesn't bother

me the way that the other palette did.

Now, what I really love about this palette is that, as I mentioned, it's all mattes.

And it has a lot of peach colors, and it has red.

I has a true red.

And then it has a couple browns.

So, some of the colors, I will probably never use in this palette.

But, for really, really easy, neutral looks, or to use them as like a ... Or to use these

colors with other more eye catching colors, this palette works really well.

I'm actually wearing it right now.

I'm wearing the red with some golden olive color that I created.

So, I guess let's talk about the packaging.

I love the packaging.

It's barely bigger than my hand.

So, it's very compact, very lightweight.

I think that makes it great for travel.

It's also very, like, it feels very sturdy, because it feels like it's hard plastic as

opposed to being sort of cheaper cardboard.

Not that cardboard is necessarily bad, but this feels very sturdy in comparison to some

of my other palettes.

For those of you who like mirrors, it does have a nice mirror.

I personally love that it has the name of each color printed below the colors.

That's always a big deal to me.

That's how I prefer it to be.

Each eyeshadow in this palette is 0.4 ounces of product.

And there are 12 colors.

I'll put the price up here, it's like $45.00 something dollars.

It wasn't bad.

I thought it was very reasonably priced.

It's cruelty free.

And I believe this palette is vegan.

I was surprised to see that, because usually most reds are not vegan.

I'm going to go ahead and insert swatches of the colors for you.

All of the shades in here are matte, except Peach Sangria, which is more of like a satin

matte.

I'm going to zoom in so you can see the palette up close.

Now, the colors that I've used the most in this palette have been Peach Sangria, which

is the red, and Peach Tea, which is sort of like this peachy, like a light peachy-brown,

or a caramel brown color that I like as a transition shade.

Those are the two colors I use the most.

I've pretty much used that color as a transition.

And I've used the red just a ton, just because I love red eyeshadow.

So I think that's great.

A couple times when I've used this palette, I've had problems where, like my eyes would

water a little bit, and like the color would come away.

And I'd have to basically put down more eyeshadow primer, and pack the color on top to get it

to stick, because then it just didn't want to stick to that spot at all, which was really

weird.

I also have had the problems, where when I've applied the red, when I go to blend it out,

it wants to blend out into nothing or just turn sort of muddy.

So then I have to pack more of the red on top.

So, while I think it's a good formula, it's not a perfect formula.

I would call this sort of like a medium pigmentation formula that's buildable.

And I think, because it's that medium pigmentation that that makes it easier to blend out, and

blend the colors together.

But, it also means that because it's sort of like a, I guess I would call it a thinner

formula, that it also seems prone to having issues where it might sheer out from too,

like if you're trying to blend.

So, it's not a perfect formula, but it's a good formula.

I love the palette.

I love the colors, because I will wear almost all of the colors in here, except for like

... I will probably never touch Peach Tart, because it's like that warm chocolatey brown

that just goes muddy on me, does not look flattering.

I can't make it work no matter what I do.

I was kind of disappointed that Just Right, which is supposed to be like a plum brown,

but didn't have more purple tones to it.

I kind of wish there was more of like a true, like wine-burgundy shade in here, instead

of that color.

Or instead of the brown either, but I understand that most people like brown.

I'm just the weirdo who doesn't.

Overall, I like that I can make a bunch of cohesive looks with this palette.

I've done several tutorials using it.

Even just like, I've done some everyday looks.

I've also used it with like the Urban Decay Heavy Metals palette.

So, I feel like it's a really good companion palette.

It's good for people who need office friendly subtle, neutral looks, because it's really

easy to put them together.

I really like the color layout, because everything's basically in like this ombre, so you can ... For

me, this is like the ideal way a palette should be laid out, because then it makes it easy

for me to see color combinations, and how to put together looks in such a way that makes

sense.

So, I really appreciate this layout.

And like I said, the scent for this one, is not bad at all.

It doesn't make me sick.

It's not cloying, it's doesn't last, like linger on my face.

It doesn't linger on my brushes.

When I open it up, unless I get really close, I don't even really necessarily smell it,

unlike the Sweet Peach, which just, I swear the smell could drive me out of a room, it

was so bad.

Overall, I have no regrets over buying this palette.

If you are in the market for a new neutral palette, I think this would be great.

If you like peaches, and hints of red, this is a good palette.

If you already have a million neutral palettes, you don't need this one.

I do feel like there are similar colors in this to the Urban Decay Naked Heat, as well

as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance.

They're not exact dupes.

So, you know, depending on your skin tone, and the colors you like, you may want to pick

one of those palettes over this palette.

But, I'm really glad I have it.

So, yeah, anyway, I love this palette.

This is the best thing that I've bought from Too Faced in a very long time.

And I would like to see them put out more things like this.

With this sort of, like compact packaging with the names on the front.

And just like this overall better eyeshadow formula.

I think that this is great.

and an even bigger personality.

Cozmo is great because he is this little robot

who appears to have emotions,

seems self aware, and even makes little faces.
