Hello everyone, I am Izzet Camcioglu.
In this video, I will try to show the use of auto mode,
which allows a flight without any control intervention
on a specified route on the map.
First, we open the mission planner interface and
enter the flight plan tab.
At the moment you see the point where I plan to put the region and my drone on the screen.
I already pointed this out by taking drone there.
There are two different ways to fly the drone in automatic mode.
As a first route, we set a route on the map.
At the moment, I set three arbitrary points on the screen.
After that, we lift the drone with the control and
take the automatic mode via channel 5.
After this process, the drone starts to follow the route that we determined.
However, take-off and landing on this road is carried out by transmitter.
There is also the possibility of just taking it off or just landing it automatically,
but I will try to adjust this video so that it will perform both takeoff and landing automatically.
Therefore, I am now wiping the route off on the screen,
only the first point remains.
I am setting it as takeoff, which is not a waypoint.
We then see that point numbered as one moves on to the home point.
Now it comes to the parameters of the take-off.
Here we choose how many meters the drone will take off on the altitude tab.
I will set it to 20 meters.
When we look at why it is automatically written 40m,
we see that the default value is set to 40.
I do not touch for the moment because I'm going to carry out the flight at 40 meters.
Here we see the waypoint radius in another setting.
It says that the drone will go into a diameter of 2 meters, which is the center of the points we have set.
I think the sensitivity of 2 meters is enough, I do not touch this setting either.
Now I will show you where we will be during the flight.
Let us determine a transit point very close to us.
Now I'm talking about this point.
I will try to set this point as a security step before the flight,
it will come to a point near where I can see very comfortably,
and I will arrange it to wait there for a while.
In the meantime, I will evaluate the drone to see if all the systems are working correctly.
First, we confirm that number two is selected.
Then we check that the height is set at 40 meters as we talked about before.
And as the last step of the security, we will set the delay parameter to 15.
This means that when the drone reaches this point, it will wait 15 seconds before going to the next one.
Now the next part of the flight will take place in the area you see on the screen.
Let's first put the drone in this area.
Then we want the drone to circulate around the center and
focus the camera constantly in the center during this circulation.
The command to set the focus of the drone's camera to a point is the do-set roi command.
Now there are two different ways of working in this command.
If you use this command before the versions 3.2.1, this command will direct the camera between the previous point and the next point.
In the following versions, after this command is applied,
it will continue to that point until another command of direction is given.
If we return to our example,
we want the drone to focus on the mid-point of the camera in this area.
We mark this point for this and
set the do set roi command instead of waypoint.
Then, according to what we have set the point of interest, we circle around the area by specifying points.
As you can see on the screen, we go from the shortest route to every point we set up,
and I want to go on a more rounded route, softer than sharp turns.
For this I am changing the waypoints after 6th point to spline waypoint i.e . spline waypoint.
At the end of this process, there is a soft path rather than a straight line between the two points set.
The first stage is okay,
so I set the drone to wait near the camera again for 5 seconds to better understand this transition flight.
Now it's time for loiter commands.
We have three loiter commands.
Loiter turn, loiter time, loiter unlimited.
Loiter time and unlimited similar commands.
In loiter time, the drone remains in loiter mode for the time you set in the specified point,
while in unlimited it remains in loiter mode until another command is executed from the controller.
The delay we applied at the beginning of the flight,
that is waiting, is working in the command with loiter time application.
So when it comes to the point where we add the delay,
the drone waits for the time we have set in the loiter mode.
If the loiter is unlimited,
then a command is waited from the controller until the command comes.
We can use this at the end of the flight when we want to land it with the controller.
Now we came to the loiter turn.
This is essentially the same as the circle mode.
We set a point. In this example, the 12th point
draws a circle with the center in the drone.
We can adjust the diameter of the circle
with the CIRCLE_RADIUS parameter under the heading confituning.
However, we do not touch the radius parameter on the screen.
With the Turns parameter we set how many turns the drone will take around this point.
I set this to 1.
Finally, there is only "do jump" command left to talk about.
First, after loiter, we let drone's camera turn to our approximate position we are in,
then we direct the drone to draw a small triangle.
Afterwards, we click on any point and
change the waypoint with the dojump command.
After that, the 2 parameters are displayed.
Waypoint and repeat.
With the DOJUMP command, we return to a point we want.
For example,
to return to the first point of the triangle we draw,
we do the wp parameter of the DOJUMP command as 14.
In this return we only want to repeat once,
so we set the repeat count to 1.
The flow chart of the setting we made with the Dojump command appears on the screen.
Now that the dojump command is over, we can end our flight.
We click on a random spot on the map and
set it to RTL.
Before we end the video, let's finally look at how we can adjust the speed data in automatic mode.
For this we choose the title of extended tuning from the confituning screen.
The speed value we see in the marked field here
determines the maximum speed at which the drone can take off in the horizontal axis in the air.
500 value corresponds to a speed of 5m/s.
The Radius parameter does the same thing as the waypoint radius I told you at the beginning of the video.
Speed up and down show the maximum speed values on the vertical axes in the parameters.
I do not touch them at all so I can see their speed in the original values.
