How to build a home studio 2019 - What do you need? - Duration: 7:01.

what's up guys you see a lot of fun music here on my channel but you don't

need a lot to get started with music production if you're putting together a

home studio you can begin with just a few items here's my list of the

essentials everything you need to start making music I'm also gonna reveal the

one piece of music gear that has made the biggest impact in my studio setup

first you'll need a computer I use a 20-18

MacBook Pro it's got a 2.7 gigahertz i7 processor 16 gigabytes of memory and 2

terabytes solid-state drive but you really don't need the latest and

greatest if you get a computer with an i5 processor and 8 gigabytes of memory

you're off to a really great start if you spend more money on upgrading the

specs I suggest adding more RAM next is a digital audio workstation or doll-like

Ableton or logic Adal lets you record multiple tracks instruments and then mix

and arrange them into a song it's gonna be the center of your music workstation

I use logic sometimes but mostly Ableton could basically do the same thing but

there are live inexpensive options out there like reaper if you're using

windows and some free ones from Mac like Garage Band most das come with a bunch

of different sounds of built-in so you can get started making music right away

everyone wants to spend their next pile of cash on speakers also called studio

monitors but honestly you can wait a good set of headphones goes a long way I

use the biodynamic DT 770 Pro headphones they cost about one hundred and fifty

dollars and sound incredible more importantly whatever headphones you get

once you learn how to adjust your mix with them you can get pretty good

results even without expensive speakers whatever you get it's always good to

check your song on different speakers headphones earbuds and even computer

speakers whatever you have laying I start creating a lot of songs on the

train during my commute and actually begin a lot of them by using the

computer keyboard like a piano you can do this in most DAWs

but a MIDI keyboard is gonna make things easier and more expressive now I get

this question a lot so let me clarify most MIDI keyboards are controllers only

meaning they don't make any sounds on their own you connect them by USB to

your computer and they send signals to your software which then generates the

sounds which you hear through your speakers this is actually a good thing

because you'll be able to add more sounds through software instruments

later and there are some amazing software instruments out there

there are so many options for MIDI keyboards but if you're looking for

something small to get started with I recently posted a video reviewing some

of the best choices available right now so check it out over here now let's

pause here for a second you can get a lot done with the stuff I've just

mentioned and if you're just getting started this is really a good place to

begin but there are more things you can add so keep watching if you're finding

this helpful hit the like button and don't forget to subscribe to my channel

for more reviews tutorials music production tips and gear all right up

next if you are a vocalist or guitarist or you just need to get some sort of

external sound into your computer you're gonna need an audio interface I use the

Focusrite 2i4 and lets me connect a microphone and electric guitar or

hardware synthesizer and works with my DAW to get those sounds into my computer

the way you do this is by connecting your audio interface to your computer

next in your DAW select the audio interface has the input and output

device to connect a microphone and plug it into the audio interface once you've

done that you can start recording directly into your dog now if you want

to go higher end I like the UAD Apollo interfaces if

you're interested in how the UAD compares with a focus write check out my

video here now I use the shore sm7b mic with my audio interface Audio Technica

makes some great affordable condenser microphones as well there are a few USB

microphones out there which allow you to record sounds without an audio interface

I reviewed the rode into USB in a video here I know I keep sending you to other

videos but it really depends on what you need more details on so go check them

out and once you've got your audio interface now you're really gonna want

speakers let's talk about studio monitors I'm using the Presonus air is

4.5 s which are small monitors for a really great price if you're on a budget

I highly recommend this setup I paired them with the Presonus subwoofer the

temblor t8 studio monitors let you hear your sound with as little coloration as

possible this means you're getting a more neutral sound that will sound

pretty good on different speakers that's really the purpose of studio monitors

now there's always more gear you could add to pen

on your needs software plugins which add more instrument sounds or effects to

your arsenal or drum pads like the machine a micro mark 3 if you like

finger drum and even external sense for hands on control so what have you added

to your studio that's made all the difference

leave a comment below to share your studio recommendations so which of these

pieces of gear has made the biggest impact in my studio if you'd recommended

this to me a few years ago I probably wouldn't have put my money into it I

probably would have spent it on plugins or something else but this has improved

my sound immensely it's my beyerdynamic headphones now

beyerdynamic is not paying me to say this I bought these myself and I would

buy them again an excellent set of studio headphones lets you hear your mix

differently there's so much I don't hear from my studio monitors little

imperfections in the sound the tone of the bassline and the stereo width of

individual sounds they sound different on headphones and I'm able to tweak my

mix a lot faster when I'm using headphones in addition to the monitors

not to mention that I'm also improving the sound for people who are listening

with their headphones a few months ago my dog actually chewed up the cable and

I begged my cousin to repair them because I don't want any other

headphones and I'm certainly not cheeping out on them if you're really

interested in these biodynamic headphones I have links to purchase

these as well as all my other music gear in the description of the video I hope

you found that information useful whatever your studio setup is remember

to make the music that you love and share it that's the best way to keep

improving your craft I'll see you guys later

349 SIDESE TUBULAR LOCK GANZUADO, SPP, GUTTED AND EXPLORED sub eng - Duration: 17:31.

hello guys, welcome again

The lock I have for you is this Spanish SIDESE lock

It is a tubular lock system

it's nothing new,

has been placed for many many years, currently these types of systems are in disuse,

you all know that they are very sensitive to specific decoding and impressioning tools

but it is a system that I find very interesting internally

and I wanted to show it so you can see how it is inside

5 pins,

up here nothing different

there you can see them, they are spring loaded

Each key pin has a small lip that goes inside the keywaay, they are the ones that you are watching

and they are spring loaded

we are going to compress one so that you see it, there they are, they are spring loaded

and that is where do the singularities of this cylinder start because this lock only has key pins it does not have drivers

each of these pins has a lateral groove

and in this area of the lock there is a ring that we will see then a jagged ring

in which you have to match, the slot of the pin, with the serrated ring, so that you can turn the whole

As I tell you that is the most interesting thing

Regarding the picking is not difficult, much less,

this one is very old, in fact, this side has the body broken

it's totally broken, we'll see then, it is not operational,

and this, although it is operative, works with much difficulty,

when the I picked, turned a position around and it takes a lot to lock

and return the pins to come out

I do not have the key to this lock,

this is a SIDESE key that I have taken from another lock,

so you can see how it is, here you can see the slots through which the lips to give different heights

nothing complicated, but you can see how a key of this brand is,

let's try to pick it,

I'm not going to turn it around because as I say it is very laborious

in this lock, it works very, very badly,

I will pick up a position, I may turn it back, it depends on what that takes me,

and then we're going to take it apart and see what it has inside

we see how it is inside, which I think is the most interesting

let's try

As always, these locks are very uncomfortable at the time of recording

it's hard to put everything in one position where you see

and also be comfortable working with it

I'm going to use this homemade tensioner,

As you can see, it's just a typical wardrobe key,

to which I have filed and adapted to reproduce this outgoing

which is the one that drags the system,

we put it,

It works perfect,

and we can already make tension with it, I will help...

from another tensor to be able to let you see

and doing tension properly, let's see if I can eliminate glare, it's very difficult because this is...

It is metallic, in gold color and reflects light

but hey, let's see if we can get a better view,

there it is, I hope not to cross my hand in front,

We are going to be testing the pins and looking for the one that is binding

let's start with this

they are very hard

there it is, it has nailed,

because the lock is very old

there it is, it seems that it has clicked,

and it takes a turn

let's see this position...

they have jumped

it is a bit akward

I do not see the pins

and they have a lot of slackness, they move

we'll see

there he has clicked, this nothing...

that seems to be set...

this one nothing

I think there is one that is past

let's start again, because everything moves, and it's very difficult

let's start in order

and holding the tensioner with two hands

this one nothing

second nothing

nothing

I should have greased the lock because they are very hard

let's see, this seems like it´s binding

that is set

that seems to have clicked

there, give a setting

the fourth

fifth

there it takes a small turn

we touch the ones already set

there, by touching the first

now yes, is binding

and it turns, as you see, it has rotated a position

let's try to return it to the starting position

and we take it apart

let's see if we can do tension like that

is binding, make one click

now you just have to work with four pins

one step

This one is set

there is no pin

there is now turned

we are going to touch them, because as I said

being very old

it's hard for it to take its position

sometimes you have to move the tensioner like that, there it is,

until it goes to your site,

As you have seen, it is very bad I was already hooked, but you have to move the tensioner like that

until all pins are set

let's gut the lock,

and we see how it is inside, let´s see

well let's see what the lock looks like

here back is the clutch

the clutch is a piston that can be seen there, to see if I can illuminate it

and that is pushed with the key

there you can see how I move it

if we took it out there would be a hole

Here you have...

here you have the pins

and this is the side ring with

the one that must be matched pin grooves

and here is another split ring

that holds the pins so they do not come out above

let's go removing the all

here comes the half

as you see is a jagged ring

to get this I will have to touch the pins

here is the other half of the ring

and now let's see

when pushing one of the pins

there's the slot, there you can see it, that groove

I'm pushing the pin down, that slot is the one that has to match

so I can go through this area of the ring here

normally the pin is here, you can go up and down, but to turn the whole set, you have to go through there

and that part of the ring has to match the slot

there you can see the slot as it appears and disappears,

let's remove one of the top rings

As you can see it is deteriorated, it is about to break,

is what has happened to the other half

this top part of the body has been broken and

and it has become unusable

there it is, we push

now the pins would be free and could come out above

but, so deformed is the lock, do not go outside and stay inside

I'm going to try to get this, there it is

this only thing is to hold the pins so they do not go outside

that in this case, and due to wear and tear, necessary

because they do not come out easily

let's see if I can get one of the pins with a hook

this has been deformed

and they do not come out the pins do not come out and it's breaking

there I have managed to get it out

this is the pin, let's also take out the spring

here is the spring

this is the spring

and this is the pin

let's see if we can zoom in

what I have been pushing down was this this lip here, this is what the key pushes

and this slot is the one that must be matched to the ring so it can rotate

it is usually in a hollow zone and it can go up and down, but for it to turn the whole

It has to be able to go through the ring's serrated areas

here, so are the five pins

let's put them there so you can see it

I'm not going to take out the others because if you look at the body

is about to fracture

and it will be impossible to reconstruct it

I believe that this material is not of very good quality,

I do not know what material is...

I do not know if it's iron or what it is, but it's very worn out

and is about to break is what has happened in this other half

here you can see it

this is the other half of the lock, several pieces have been broken from the top

even I think that some spring, the pins have been loose

and can not be used

in fact it gives me the feeling that it was turned and they took the key from anyway,

is about to break completely

well then

we'll see

what is the cam

this is the body, here has a ring

matches the front

and simply has the notch to penetrate the key and to avoid that the key can be removed in the middle of the route

but it has no more influence

has one on each side

this is the cam

and fits with, there we've seen it before, with the clutch

loaded to spring that pushes the key

a simple system

but I think that very very curious lock in that to that does not have driver pins

has only keypins and have this system with a slot

and the side ring jagged to avoid the turn

Well, this has been the picking,

a partial picking, I have not completely picked the lock,

but I was going to lengthen the video too much

and as you have seen, it is very simple to do,

of this Sidese,

of Spanish manufacture, I hope you liked it, that it will be useful and many thank you for your time, bye

Debt to Equity Ratio Formula | Calculation | Example - Duration: 10:05.

hello everyone hi welcome to the channel of WallStreetmojo

friends today we're going to learn a concept which is known as debt to equity

ratio formula now this is a really an important ratio because this determines

erm the company's level of debt that they are exposed to compared to their

equity the higher the debt is is not a good sign for the company's financial

health so let's see what goes in and around and then the nitty-gritty of the

debt to equity ratio from them it means the total liabilities divided by the

shareholders equity okay this is just a formula but we need to get into all the

details so let's start debt to equity ratio formula is viewed as the long-term

solvency ratio it is known as the long-term solvency ratio and it is a

comparison between the external finance and the internal finance now let's have

a look at the debt to equity formula and learn about how things will go about the

debt to equity formula or the ratio is equal to the total liabilities divided

by the shareholders equity so this is the formula in the numerator we'll take

the total liabilities of the firm and in the denominator will consider the

shareholders equity so as the shareholders equity includes the

preferred stock we also we also consider that now let's understand with the help

of an example so that we have a clear idea

there's a company call let's say a youth company and it has some following

details which are as follows the current liabilities the non current liabilities

the common stock and the preferred stocks so the current liability let's

say standing at 49,000 dollars non current liability as

$110,000

$1,11,000 let's say the common stocks are having 20,000 shares of let's

say 25 each and the preferred stock value is $140,000 find out the

debt to equity ratio of the youth company over here so in this example we

have all the information and all we need to do is to find out the total

liabilities of the company so I mean you know the total liability and the total

shareholders equity of the company let's calculate that now the total liability

is basically is equal to your current liability plus the non current liability

so that's going to be your 49000+111000 that gives

thus $160,000 as of a total liability the next we have is the total

shareholders equity which is equal to your common stock

it's your is equal to common stock plus any preferred stock so in our case it's

going to be 20,000 shares plus 20,000 should be if you have to multiply the

price 20,000*$25+$1,40000 so that gives a 6,40,000 as of a total

shareholders equity so let's finally put down the numbers in

the formula so our debt to equity

formula will be the total liabilities divided by the total shareholders equity

well the total liabilities goes about $160,000 divided by the total

shareholders equity $640,000 so 0.25 so in normal situation this is good I mean

in normal situation or ratio of 2:1 is considered quite healthy you can see

that and from general perspective youth company use a little more external

financing and it will also help them in accessing the benefits of the financial

leverage let's understand the explanation part of

the debt to equity ratio formula see by using the debt to equity ratio formula

the investors gets to know or how a firm is doing in its capital structure right

and also how solvent the firm is asshole so when an investor decides to invest in

the company he or she needs to know the approach of a company so if the total

liability of the company if that is higher or greater compared to the

shareholders equity I'll just write see over here then the investor would think

whether to invest in the company or not because having too much debt is too

risky for a firm to be in in the long run so

if the liability of the company if it is too low compared to the shareholders

equity then the investor would also think twice about investing in the

company because then the company's capital structure is not conductive

enough to achieve the financial leverage so however if the company balance is

both the internal and the external finance then maybe think master would

feel that the company is idle for the investment now in this particular graph

what we can see is the ratio that to equity ratio of PepsiCo

or Pepsi basically the debt to equity ratio right from 2009 onwards as you can

see there was a rise then there was a fall then it took her eyes it was stable

it was his I mean there was a slight rise in that then it took a huge round

up in 2014 around so you can see that it was around 0.5 X close enough for that

around 2009-2010 however it started rising in rapidly and is at 2.79

- currently and looks like an over leveraged situation at this very moment

you can see but this example was just taken to make you understand that how

you analyze this particular ratio for any company now what is exactly the use

of the debt to equity ratio formula see the formula for debt-to-equity ratio

is very common ratio in terms of the solvency now if the if an investor wants

to know the solvency of the of the company debt to equity ratio will be the

first ratio to gross the mind see by using the debt equity ratio the investor

not only understands the immediate stands of the company but also can

understand the long-term future of the company now for example let's let's take

an example if a company is using too less of the external finance so let's

say the external finance is less uses is too less you can say that and then

through debt to equity the investor basically they would be able to

understand that the company is trying to become whole equity form over here

because they are not going for more external finance and as a result the

form wouldn't be able to use the financial leverage in the long run see

taking debt is not a bad thing but over leveraging is going to be a turmoil

situation for the company so there should be a mix of balance so that's why

we say that 2:1 ratio is considered as good right now this is the

calculator that you can use let's say your total debt is standing at 1 million

and your total shareholders equity is let's say 5,00,000 so it's 2 if you

increase this to 2 it will increase to 4 and if you reduce this to 5 it will

reduce to let's make it 5,00,000 then it will reduce to 1 X so you make your own

assumptions over here put down some numbers and you will get really amazing

answers try and make your own interpretation if

you consider over here it's a direct relationship between the total

liabilities and debt to equity ratio formula probably you can consider this

formula by using in various companies like you know Jet Airways which is a

highly leveraged company you can see how exactly this ratio is working over there

I hope you have got a really great insight from this video thank you

everyone Cheers

Learn Spanish in 2019 - Duration: 9:46.

Hi, I'm Thomas, and I'm learning Spanish.

I'd like to thank you for watching my previous video about my decision to learn Spanish in

2019, and I hope your language learning journey is coming along well.

Spanish is just one of several languages which I have learned, but because of the response

that I'm getting from the previous video, I've decided to do another one.

It's the MIDDLE of January, so if you've made a New Years Resolution to learn a new language,

you've come to the right place.

This the Esperanto Variety Show.

We have new videos every Thursday - *in* Esperanto or *about* Esperanto - and going into 2019,

we have additional tips, and tricks, and other information if you are a new language - no

matter which language you are learning.

A quick note to the regular subscribers.

We'll have more Esperanto coming up (in future weeks)

but I hope you need tips too - correct?

We're all learning together!

So, here we go!

Ok, so the story so far.

I have been learning languages for 30 years - kind of a "language junkie".

In 2019 I made it my resolution to (finally take Spanish seriously and) work through this

book.

My goal is to do two pages per day.

Quite honestly, I'm little bit behind that, but I'll be making that up in the next couple

days.

Finish that book by the end of the year, and see how that impacts my Spanish.

So, last week I did a video about my decision to learn Spanish this year and I got a great

response.

I got quite a few other people who are learning Spanish - they commented that they are also

learning, or about what they're working on.

I also got comments from quite a few people from around the Spanish-speaking world - native

speakers from Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Spain, Venezuela, and I'm sure quite a few

other countries.

I know there were other native speakers who commented without saying where they were from.

Thank you guys SO MUCH for your feedback.

I've already learned some mistakes that I made last week.

We're going to talk about that (today).

Things that I can improve, and if you are learning, it will help you improve too.

I do want to thank you guys so much for your feedback.

It's really helpful.

I realize now that we have second-language English speakers watching this video, so I've

added subtitles/captions there - starting with English - I hope that is helpful for

some.

Your comments for me have been very helpful and very encouraging.

So THANK YOU.

One thing that I learned that was especially helpful was that I was mispronouncing "seguir".

The U is essentially silent and it's just there to show that it's a "hard G" sound.

So "seguir."

In last week's video I mentioned that there was a word that was tripping me up a little

bit because I couldn't remember which one of these words that end in O was feminine.

So, some people said "Well ALL/Most words that end in O are masculine in Spanish."

Yeah, I know that.

That was one of the things that I picked up long ago.

It's the exceptions that I'm trying to learn.

And remembering exactly which ones they were.

And so I gave a short list that came from the book that I'm learning from.

La foto - la mano - la radio And somebody pointed out that La Foto is feminine

because it's short for la fotografia.

And similarly, we have some other words that end in O and so you might think they are masculine

- like la moto, la intro, la disco.

But that's short for la motocicleta, la introduccion, la discotecca.

Tip of the week.

The tip of the week is...

Buy a book!

Don't be afraid of spending money.

Books are not that expensive if you consider how many hours you put into studying.

I'm planning on this book taking me a whole year to get through.

I've forgotten how much I paid for it.

Probably 25 dollars.

And that's really trivial (7 cents per day) compared to the amount of time we put into

this sort of thing, right?

It takes a lot of time to learn a language, so don't be afraid to buy a book.

There are a couple reasons why I think books are a good thing.

One is that you know that it's a trustworthy source (if it has a qualified, professional

editor).

Some of the popular language learning sites have their own flaws (and so do some books,

actually.)

At least the book gives you another perspective.

One thing that a book requires is that you actually write out your exercises.

It's helpful to write things out.

You'll see this in the weeks coming up.

When I do Duolingo, I don't always pay attention to the accents because the system will let

the answers go through even if I don't type the accents - and it's a little tricky to

type them.

I know.

I can just SEE the comments already.

"Tomaso, you just have to install a keyboard!"

Good idea, let's talk about that in a future video.

As you're writing them out, though, you think "ok, here's the word - where does the accent

go?"

It's a different way of processing the information, and it lets it go into your brain a different

way.

Then you (have to) go through manually and check your answers.

(So make sure you get a book with an answer key.)

Correcting your work manually is an additional opportunity to learn.

Related to that, get a dictionary.

Last night as I was going to bed I was thinking about I question that I'd seen on Duolingo.

I didn't get a chance right away to answer it, but I got a notification that somebody

was asking a question about Esperanto.

And they asked what the difference is between this word and that word.

The one word was the word for TODAY.

The other word was DAY.

(The next morning I saw a second, similar question about WITH and AND.)

So "What's the difference between HOY and EL DIA?"

It would be just a simple thing to open a dictionary and say "aha, one means day and

one means today - now I know the difference."

And that would have been that.

But the person presumably didn't have a dictionary, didn't know where to turn, posted a question

on the forum.

Hopefully they got a good answer!

Actually, I think I answered it (the next morning.)

I would be careful about which dictionaries you use.

Online I would avoid some of the user-edited ones because they can have mistakes in them.

Google Translate is not a dictionary!

A actually have some questions that I'd written so I could ask you guys, and as I'm looking

at my questions, I realized - oh wait a second - I haven't looked it up in the dictionary.

So I thought "well, do I have a dictionary?"

This is my English dictionary.

But it's got a Spanish-English dictionary in the back.

I think this book as "tiquete" in it.

(Duolingo has "boleto") The thing is, as you're looking in the dictionary,

you're thinking of the word in your head.

It takes time to physically turn the pages, and the word is stuck in your head - you're

practicing the word as you do this.

And I did not find the answer in the dictionary.

(It only had "boleto.")

So I'm going to ask you.

So after I didn't find the word in the dictionary, I did a Google search and found some information

on it.

As I understand it, they both mean kind of mean the same thing, but there are regional

and dialectical differences.

I would love your feedback.

Where can you use which word?

In which circumstances might you use one word or the other word?

If you're interested in the answer, also check the comments to see what other people have

replied.

And I invite you (fellow learners) to ask your questions down below.

If you're learning Spanish and there's something you're working on - you have a question - put

it down in the comments.

Hopefully someone will answer it.

If not, I can bring it up in a future week.

One final bit.

Another bit of feedback I got from the last week was - we wish we heard more Spanish from

you (to give more feedback on pronunciation.)

I'm working on it.

I found some jokes.

I have read the first joke already.

That is, I have seen it all ready.

With the other jokes, I'm filming my natural reaction.

(joke in spanish.)

hahaha

(Another joke in Spanish)

Oh yeah, I get it!

(Yet another joke in Spanish.)

Oh, I think I understand that.

My dad used to say that all the time.

"These words open doors like keys..."

"They are THANK YOU and also PLEASE."

(Lame joke in Spanish) Why is the math notebook sad?

Because it has a lot of problems.

Alright.

I did understand it.

It just wasn't funny.

No idea - no entiendo.

Another one.

Here we go.

(Another joke - this one about soldiers arriving together.)

Hahaha

Alright - I don't want to be behind enemy

lines with that guy!

Ok, here we go.

✅ TOP 10: Best Beaches In Mexico - Duration: 5:07.

A visit to Mexico is a popular choice for many reasons.

It is a country of great ruins, culture, food, and especially beaches.

Mexico has over 10,000km of coastline surrounded by four waters.

Most of the coast faces the Pacific Ocean and it stretches along the entire west side.

These desert-like, rocky, sandy beaches, which alternate further south with lush green, tropical

beaches are a delight.

To the east, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea await with true postcard beaches.

They range from small bays with sandy beaches to well developed beaches with infrastructure,

to untouched natural beaches.

If you're visiting Mexico and want to find a cheap way to stay, then check the links

in description as we've found some great affordable accommodation options.

10) Coming in at number 10 is Playa Carrizalillo

This bay is without doubt one of the most beautiful.

Its Caribbean flair, with great water and soft sand attracts tourists of all kinds.

Nevertheless, it is rarely overcrowded and it is always easy to find a place on the sand.

There is usually activity in the water because the bay has perfect conditions for surfing

and swimming.

Whether you enjoy water sports or sunbathing, a perfect, relaxed day is guaranteed on this

beach.

9) Number 9 is Playa La Boquilla, Puerto Ángel, Oaxaca

Puerto Angel sites on a picturesque horseshoe-shaped bay, book ended by craggy rocks and surrounded

by wooded hills.

The waters here are calm and bright blue.

The best beach of the area is found at Playa La Boquilla, about three miles east of the

bay, where there are shallow waters excellent for snorkelling and swimming.

8) A great beach at number 8 is Playa de Akumal

This fabulous snorkelling region near Playa Del Carmen has a reef that stretches from

20-300 feet offshore, offering views for all different levels of swimmers.

Turtles, tropical fish and more are common sights here, and the water is safe and calm

enough for children to enjoy.

For those who aren't into snorkelling, the sand is white and the water has no waves,

so it is lovely for swimming and relaxing too.

7) Number seven is Bahia Balandra

This is the premier family beach in the Baja region of La Paz.

Perhaps best known for the rock formation called Diamond rock.

Bahia Balandra is a mix of sand and beautiful wind and water-worn rock formations.

It is sheltered in almost every direction for safe swimming, and the location is shallow

enough that the water warms early here.

Because amenities are not beachside, it is often not as busy as other local beaches.

6) In sixth place is Playa del Carmen

The beach here is lovely for those who like to relax, the sand is clean and the water

calm.

Playa del Carmen can feel like the sleepy fishing village it once was.

With easy boat access to Cozumel and the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, this makes it a favourite location

to be able to venture to other ports, while still enjoying the best of the Mexican water,

sand and hospitality.

5) Fifth is Puerto Vallarta Beach

This Pacific oceanside resort town is nestled along a string of sandy beaches that can please

almost any visitor.

Protected coves make great snorkelling destinations while there are also opportunities for whale

watching and deep-sea fishing.

4) Number four is Zipolite

A remnant from the hippie days, this beach was known as a free love center from the 60's

to the 80's, and a huge counterculture destination.

Today, it attracts an international class of sun lovers, shirtless yoga gurus and surfers.

While there are still plenty of budget lodgings, a number of midrange hotels and classier restaurants

have appeared at the west end of the village.

The rocky headlands against red-tiled round architecture is an impressive sight, and the

pounding surf is great for more vigorous water activities.

3) Third place is Ziggy Beach

Ziggy Beach is situated in Riviera Maya and is one of the most popular beaches in the

area.

Featuring an fantastic variety of marine life, thanks to the amazing coral reef system, Ziggy

Beach is a great place for snorkelling and diving.

With beautiful sands and palm trees to give shade, this beach really deserves to be in

the top 10.

2) At number two is Cancun

The beaches of Cancún are some of the most popular in Mexico, recognised for their vast

sands and clear blue waters.

Because this beach town is so well liked by tourists, visitors can find plenty of restaurants

and shops when it's time to retreat from the sun.

It has gorgeous, picturesque beaches and warm, turquoise waters.

This strip along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico is full of many different resorts and

with turtles, whale watching, snorkelling and much more to do here, it makes Cancun

a fantastic beach to visit.

1) ) And the top spot is Tulum

About an hour south of Cancun, Tulum has emerged as one of Mexico's favourite beach destinations.

Situated at the southern end of the Riviera Maya, the beach at Tulum has the pristine

white sand, palm trees and turquoise water that creates the quintessential beach location

that everyone dreams of.

Add to that some of the best and most creative food in restaurants nearby and you have an

obvious choice.
