Hi my salt butter kimchi!
today we're gonna speak about why you need to travel in south korea!
after why you need to travel in thailand
and japan
we're gonna speak about south korea
a country that i really liked even if i spent just one week
don't worry i'm gonna go back there for sure!
but yeah today i'm gonna tell you my reasons
let's go
why travel in south korea
it's kind of funny because
i learned more about south korea
in new zealand
than in korea
because i hangout a lot
with korean people
so they spoke to me a lot about korea but yeah when i was there
i didn't have this knowledge about korean culture
i think, now i can go there with pleasure because
i know a lot about korean culture
and i think it can be
more better for my travel
but it's true that my week in seoul
was really amazing
well i don't know for you!
but when i was in france
i was like Japan and Korea
are the same...
i knew it was two different countries
but i thought it was pretty similar cultures
i thought it was not really different
and yeah i was wrong...
Like you know south korea has a difficult story
it was a country who was split
stil split
north korea and south korea
and there is kind of an hate between these two
and yeah when i arrived in south korea i was like
it's not gonna change a lot
i was in japan just before
and i was like it's gonna be the same
it's kind of the same culture
i was really like
i see asians people it's like all chinese...
no racism...
but yeah i was wrong
In japan it's more like
extravagance
but south korea is more
introvert than japan
well it's kind like japan it's flamboyancy
advertising everywhere
well if you travel in south korea
you need to try soju...
local alcohol
an alcohol like you can see in my instastory
that i like a lot!
so yeah also korean food
and korean alcohol
are amazing
so yeah when you travel in a country
first thing to try
it's food
after you try the food you are like
i'm not in my country!
i'm in a really different country that i don't recognize
but that i like!
and if you are interest about korea
you're gonna heard a lot about kimchi
it's really a food that they like a lot
and there it's really
every house or every home
create his own kimchi
it's like lettuce but i don't want to say it wrong
with spice and a lot of stuffs
really good!
well my explanation are maybe shit
but i think it's like that
so yeah
south korea is really a country
with a deep story
and when you start to walk in the street of seoul
it's true that
you absorbed this new culture
and you can feel that you're not in japan
well it's a feeling i don't know how to say
i don't know how
to say that with words
it's a feeling that you know that you're not in japan
i felt that japan was more
different than south korean for us, european people
because japan is really like small street
a japanese culture where
in every street you can feel that you're not at home
korea is not like that
there are streets but more
european style
well it's not an european style but
but you can feel that you're not lost!
in japan in every street
i was like lost
it's not home and it's pretty cool
because you are surprise at every moment
in korea i didn't have this same feeling
that it's a surprise at every moment
well kind of. Seoul is pretty amazing
seoul is really beautiful, imagine
a town in the center of a lot of mountains
it's really nature
it's really amazing
something that i really enjoyed in south korea
that i didn't see in japan
in every place, park or open space
outside
there is gym equipments
outside
it's completely free
and it was really cool to see korean people
old people, adult or
even young... but yeah more old people
they go in this kind of outside gym place
and they do their sport every morning
every night
it's really amazing
and really it's everywhere!
and yeah i really enjoyed
this concept that it's healthy
with really simple equipments where
you use your own body
but yeah if you can do that everywhere in the world it can be
cool!
another thing that i enjoyed
it's a palace
i don't remember the name sorry
it's a big place where you see every people in traditionnal clothes
with temples and everything it's amazing
i know that there is a lot of couples who like
to go there in traditional clothes and do some pictures!
in this palace with traditional guards!
well i think they are paid to be like that
i don't think it's true guards
but yeah it's really a culture that i like a lot
but for me south korea was
i mean the korean cinema
korean movies!
i enjoyed that since i was in france!
i watched a lot of korean movies
and you can feel this... well it's like i go
to hollywood or new york
i'm a geek so i can see every place
that i saw in movies!
so south korea was like that for me
i saw every movies in the street of seoul
and i was like "it's amazing"
and yeah they are really good
in media and movies
they are much better for me
than japanese on that
they also speak more english
but it's kind of normal because it's the usa who
help them against north korea
so they try to change their government to
to adapt in english culture
more like usa culture
i think and i also heard that
and yeah everything start to change in south korea
to be more
international culture i think
but i also think that it's a country who's gonna keep
his traditional culture like japan
so don't worry it's not gonna change a lot
so they try to change for better things
because i think it's a difficult culture to adapt to a new country
i can see that with korean people here
but yeah i already did videos about that
you can find that on my channel
but yeah korean culture is really hard to adapt with a new country
for me it's the most hard with every culture that i saw
but yeah the south korea i really a country that i recommend
and i hope that you're gonna go there
but for sure i'm go there again
i want to go in others towns
like busan or jeju island
i really want to discover this country deeper
so for sure i'm gonna go there again
and even seoul i really enjoyed
and yeah with everything that i know about korea now it can be more better
and yeah i recommend also to take informations about the country and the culture
or speak with peoples who come from this country
to learn more. It's more better to do that i think
hope that you liked this video
and that you're gonna...
or give...(fucking french language...)
hope you're gonna want to go to this country!
i see you in a new video soon
and if you liked this video don't forget my happy blue like
if you are new!
subscribe
i do good video i think!
see you next time! open your eyes and have a free mind!
bye!
