Youtube daily report Jan 20 2019

Azerbaijan is that country you didn't even know it existed until you watched 'The World

is not enough'.

Nonetheless, this country has a lot to offer.

Yes, we are talking again about natural gas.

But believe me, there is way more going on here…

Vito Corleone used to say 'family is an important matter' and they know this quite

well in Azerbaijan.

In fact, the ALIYEV family means everything in this country.

They control the politics and the economics with an iron fist.

Nonetheless, when it comes to negotiating, they aren't so much into horse heads in

beds but rather… caviar!

Yes, you heard that right!

The Aliyev family can be corrupt and repressive with their own citizens.

But they know how to treat foreigners like rockstars.

5 stars hotels, caviar and all kinds of luxuries.

Although, if you're an EU official watching this video, and you're planning to pay a

visit to the Aliyev family… watch your step because, despite its looks, Baku, Azerbaijan's

capital, is not like Las Vegas.

What happens here will stay… on a videotape, forever.

Anyway, doting on foreigners so much, Azerbaijan has managed to become a member of the Council

of Europe, to participate on the Eurovision song contest and to even play soccer in the

European cup.

All of this despite the fact that they share a border with Iran.

Yes, Azerbaijan is far from Europe.

But they are Europe's best friend.

And now you might wonder… why is this country so attractive?

Well… it's not just the caviar.

In fact, the Caspian sea has many other interesting things.

They have enormous oil reserves and… also enormous gas reserves.

And do you remember who needs to diversity their gas suppliers badly?

Of course, that would be European Union.

If you've watched the previous videos on this series about Russian gas, you know Europe

relies heavily on Russia.

This is why, corrupted and authoritarian as they are in Azerbaijan, Brussels needs to

do business with them.

So now I know what you're thinking!

Of course Putin will not be happy with this, right?

At the end of the day, Russia wants Europe to depend on their gas.

So anytime they look for other providers, that's bad news for the Kremlin, right?

Well… in fact, the opposite is true.

As we said, the Aliyev family has turned diplomacy into an art form.

And they know how to befriend everyone: including Putin.

So the question now becomes…

Why is BAKU so important to MOSKOW?

How can Azerbaijan be Europe and Putin's friend at the same time?

And… what does Ukraine have to do with all of this?

Today we are going to answer all of these questions but, before we do, let's take

a look back at the history.

CAVIAR DIPLOMACY May 2014.

The Uruguayan soccer player, DIEGO GODIN scores the goal that allows the ATLETICO DE MADRID

team to win the European soccer league.

OK, if you're American, this doesn't mean anything to you.

But outside of America, soccer is a big deal.

So millions of viewers from all over the world watch a soccer player on their TV screens

with a T-shirt that reads "AZERBAIJAN, LAND OF FIRE".

This was the case between the years 2012 to 2015.

So now you might wonder… why did Azerbaijan spend 24 million euros to sponsor a soccer

team in Spain?

Were they trying to promote tourism?

Have you ever heard anyone say, 'oh yeah, I'm going to Azerbaijan this holiday season?'

Me neither!

No, the answer has nothing to do with tourism.

As you know, in 2009, Europeans spent several days without gas because of those gas wars

between Russia and Ukraine.

That was the moment when the European Union started looking for alternative gas suppliers.

At the same time, Azerbaijan was enjoying a gas boom!

In 2006, the SHAH DENIZ gas field began production.

And this was a big gas field.

So big that it could help Europe reduce their Russian dependency by 10%.

In other words: Europe was desperately looking for suppliers and Azerbaijan was desperately

looking for buyers.

Love was in the air.

But, as you know, love needs a spark.

A little passion.

And this is where the so called caviar diplomacy comes in.

You see, nobody likes to do business with a dictatorship.

But in Baku, they have money to buy just about anything.

No one's willing to sponsor the European Games because they're just like the Olympics

but smaller and they make no financial sense?

No problem!

Azerbaijan pays with their oil Money!

Valencia, a Spanish city, can no longer host the Formula ONE?

No problem!

Azerbaijan pays with their oil Money!

Do we need sponsors for the European World cup?

No problem!

Azerbaijan pays with their oil Money!

No matter if we're talking about the brand 'AZERBAIJAN LAND OF FIRE' or 'SOCAR',

which is Azerbaijan's oil company: the Aliyev's family money is everywhere.

And this explains news like this.

Euro 2020: get ready for games from Bilbao to Baku and more minnows

Yes, you heard that right!

The next Euro cup will be played in 11 countries.

And that includes Azerbaijan, despite not being European and not having a strong soccer

tradition.

With these kinds of events, Azerbaijan had a great chance to improve their image and

buy political goodwill.

Thanks to this, nobody has any problem with building all the pipelines they want.

This is how we have the SOUTH CAUCASUS pipeline, which connects the Caspian sea with Turkey

and crosses Georgia.

This one has been in operation since 2006 and looks like this on a map.

Yes, yes, I know the pipe looks weird on the map, right?

It looks like they were drunk when designing it.

The reason why it's not a straight line is because Azerbaijan doesn't want to cross

Armenia.

The relationship between Armenia and Azerbaijan is even worse than the relationship between

Russia and Ukraine.

This is why they'd rather cross Georgia.

And this is why Russia, who is more pro Armenian, is not a good friend of the Aliyev family.

But we'll talk about that later.

After this pipeline came the TANAP, which goes all the way down to Greece.

The TANAP started operation this year, in 2018.

And the final project is the so called TAP, which is expected to go all the way to Italy.

Now the big question is… what does Putin think about this?

Well… in the beginning he was far from happy.

In fact, he tried to stop Azeri gas from arriving in Italy at any cost.

How did he do it?

By calling up his Italian friends!

Remember how Gerhard Schroeder is Putin's man in Berlin?

Well, Putin's man in Rome is this guy, Beppe Grillo, the leader of the Five Stars Movement,

a populist party.

The American Government Warns Italy: Beware of the Connections Between Russia and the

5 Stars Movement And this is why Beppe Grillo used to say things

like this.

"If they wanna make this pipe in PUGLIA, from any other place, we will bring the army

if necessary" Let's pause it right here!

This declaration is from 2014.

But we make this video in 2018.

Four years is a long time.

So let's fast forward and see what happened since then.

EVERYTHING REMAINS AT HOME Every dynasty has a godfather: this is the

story of HEYDAR ALIYEV.

He started his career as a KGB spy.

For 25 years he was the James Bond of Baku.

Then, in 1969, Soviet General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev named him the leader of the Soviet

Republic of Azerbaijan.

His political career soared until the 80s, when he had his problems with later General

Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev.

Then, in 1991, Azerbaijan gained independence.

In 2 years, HEYDAR ALIYEV had become the president with… pay attention, 98.8% of the vote.

Yes, this is the Azerbaijan style of democracy.

Nonetheless, Heydar was a man of compromise.

He used to be a good communist.

But he easily adapted to the capitalistic Framework.

In less than a year, he signed the so called, contract of the Century: British BP, the American

Exxon and Chevron, the Norwegian Statoil… all of them wanted to have their share of

Azerbaijan's gas and oil.

And Aliyev was happy to give it to them in exchange for a juicy 80% of the profits.

In fact…

do you remember that James Bond movie called 'The world is not enough'?

It opened with that scene where Pierce Brosnan is driving a car through oil rigs in this

country.

And, as a side tip for you, dear viewers, James Bond is a great geopolitical compass.

Any time they choose a location for shooting it's because that country is very interested

in appearing in a movie.

And if they're interested, it's usually for a reason.

So going back to our movie…

Azerbaijan's economy skyrocketed since then.

They had oil, they had gas and they had caviar.

The country grew and so did the corruption.

Everything remains in the family business.

And, as Vito Corleone used to say, 'a man who doesn't spend time with his family can

never be a real man'.

So, upon the death of the godfather, HEYDAR ALIYEV, in 2003, his son ILHAM inherited the

business.

This time, he won the elections with 75% of the vote.

Yes, you know, Azerbaijan's style of democracy is very very funny.

If you don't believe me, just look at this news…

Oops: Azerbaijan released election results before voting had even started

In fact, ILHAN ALIYEV doesn't even waste time pretending not to be corrupt.

He changed the Constitution so he can run for elections as many times as he wants.

The Vice president of the country is his wife.

And he also changed the law that specified the required age to run for elections.

Before, you had to be older than 35 to run for President.

But his son is only 21 and… you never know!

And of course, anybody who speaks against the Aliyev family ends up in jail.

Meanwhile, they're getting richer and richer every year.

Do you remember the Panama papers?

Well, one of the biggest clients of MOSSACK FONSECA's company was the Aliyev.

So… what do you do when you have as much money as they do?

You use it to make friends!

Corruption inquiry at Council of Europe over Azerbaijan

But, OK, we still haven't answered the big question.

How did they manage to befriend Putin?

OK, we're going to tell you right now!

REALPOLITIK Michael Corleone used to say: keep your friends

close, but your enemies closer.

If you remember, Vladimir Putin has two goals on his agenda: one is to sell gas to Europe,

the other is to bypass Ukraine on the gas transit.

After the gas wars, the Nord Stream 1 and the Nord Stream 2 were built.

Those pipelines connect directly Russia and Germany through the Baltic sea.

But this isn't enough.

If they want to isolate Ukraine forever, they need more pipes in the South.

And that's harder than it looks.

Look at what happened when they tried the first time.

Bulgaria suspends South Stream gas pipeline project

Unlike Azerbaijan, Putin isn't so brilliant when it comes to diplomacy.

The Crimea invasion cost him a lot of economic sanctions and made Europe stop that pipeline

the Kremlin wanted to build.

So Putin had to look for a better strategy.

And… with this in mind, the Azerbaijan pipe didn't look that bad anymore.

You see, if Europe is investing in having a pipe in the South to get gas from Azerbaijan…

Russia can also send their gas through it.

And this is how the TURKSTREAM was born.

TURKSTREAM is another pipe that goes from Russia to Turkey.

But once it gets to Turkey… you can also connect it with the other pipe that goes to

Italy.

Just look at this map.

In other words, Russia's play goes as follows.

They bring the gas to Turkey, from there it goes to Italy.

So that pipe that was originally designed to be for Azerbaijan's gas, will carry Russian

gas too.

In other words, the Aliyev family is no longer a threat to Putin but an opportunity.

Things have changed in Russia.

And things have changed in Italy too.

Remember how the Five Stars Movement was completely against the TAP pipeline?

Well, now the Five Stars Movement is one of the ruling parties in Italy.

And… look what they say now!

Di Maio: "TAP is not strategic but it is shielded"

Meanwhile, there are two World leaders that have become really good friends.

This looks like the ending to a Hollywood movie.

The European Union is happy because now they can diversify their gas supply.

Azerbaijan is happy too, because now they're going to become enormously rich.

Russia is happy as well because they can bypass Ukraine once and for all.

Yes, everybody is happy.

Well… everybody except Ukraine.

They most likely have a very dark future.

So now I have a question for you.

Do you think Europe will let Putin achieve his goals with Ukraine?

Do you think the Aliyev family will keep running the country as a family business?

What do you think will happen with Ukraine?

Please, leave your answer in the comment section below.

Try a Chapter Tag: January 2018 (CC) - Duration: 16:20.

Hi folks this is Sarah and welcome back to my channel. So today I come to you

with a tag and that tag is the try a chapter tag. I know I've done this many times on

my channel, but it is a really useful tactic for me to kind of narrow down my

own on the shelf TBR and help plan the upcoming month. So, if you don't know

February is going to be both the Read Soul Lit Readathon which is hosted by Didi

from Brown Girl Reading and it's also the Blackathon and that is hosted by

Jessie from Bowtti- Bow Bow Bowties and... Francina Simone and I'm really bad at

this- but both of those readathons focus on centering black authors and you know

celebrating Black History Month and so I want to participate in those, um, and yeah I

do know that there are some challenges associated with Blackathon and I'll try

to put this in the descriptive and there's also an Instagram challenge for

Didi's ReadSoulLit readthon and I'm also going to be participating in the readalong

for Didi's ReadSoulLit which is going to be Unforgivable Love by Sophfronia Scott,

Sophfronia Scott. I have my book and I'm excited to start with that and

I'm doing a buddy read with the lovely Priscilla starting the 28th of this

month but because The Gilda Stories is quite long and that's by Jewelle Gomez

it'll likely carry over to February which works out because it's centers

around a kind of vampire story featuring a black vampire and it's kind of her

story as someone who I believe she becomes a vampire and kind of her, like,

not super teenage but like cusp of nineteen to late early 20s, and it's the

story of her throughout time because I think she has turned into a vampire

quite early on. Maybe during the Reformation time and so

she gets to witness the events across time it was written in the 90s though so I believe

the time, the timeline cuts off in the 90s but from Njeri's interview with Gomez

I think that she might be in the process of writing a new one and I'll

link that in the description as well. Just because that kind of video plus

Njeri's review of it made me really really want to get to this and I convinced Priscilla. Well I didn't

have to convince her I asked her and she said yes because she was really kind.

But, anyway, I went on a long tangent and part of the reason I want to do the try

a chapter tag is because I already have therefore two commitments to read in the

month of February and I wanted to see what I would want to get to on my

shelves that are also written by black authors. So, I picked out a few things

that are on here. Here's that stack. I could actually do one

of those thumbnails. Heheh. Oh! and I got a Jerry on my lap now. Okay bud, I can't really

show you guys cause you're on the tripod. Well, I could lift him. Hey Bubba! There we

go. Um, so now that we have the whole team. The first is Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson.

This came out a few years ago. I want to say in 2015. I know

that my lovely friend Manika had read it at the time and loved it and I recently

found it a library book sale and I got it because of that. So, what does this

follow? I think it's kind of a memoir of four friends, right? Let's see. Yeah, so

it's a memoir of four friends and their time in 1970s Brooklyn and so I want to

see what it's like. So that's one I'm going to read from and tell you my

thoughts on the first chapter. Then we have Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue

and this I had heard of when it first

came out just because it was an Oprah's pick and BookRiot was talking about it

a lot at the time and if I remember right it follows a Nigerian family who

immigrated to the States in hopes of, you know, finding the American dream and the

father in the family ends up working for a very well-off family as a chauffer and

it takes place right along the crash of 2008 if I remember when it happened and

so this very affluent family loses a lot of money in said financial crisis and

you follow, kind of, the impact on that family and then how that impacts the

immigrant family as well and so that has sounded really good to me as well.

Then this one I really don't remember what it's about. I have Ghana Must Go by

Taiye- Taiye Selasi, Taiye Selasi. So it look like

Ghana Must Go starts off with the death of a very well-known prestigious surgeon

and his death requires the family to go back to Ghana and to kind of meet up and

it discusses, you know, I'm guessing it discusses secrets within the family and

like the family's history. Again, I don't really know much about this but it

looked good and someone on BookTube read it and liked it because I have a

vague memory of that. Lastly, we have A American Marriage by Tayari Jones and

this, as well, was an Oprah pick and here I believe we follow a husband and wife. And

the husband has been wrongly accused and sentenced for a crime that he did not

commit and it's the story of their marriage as they kind of cope with the

fact that he is falsely imprisoned, I don't know if it takes place, as well, you

know, when he gets released or not.

But yeah, I have not read many novels that deal with this topic and with our

prison system in the States being so commercialized and with incarceration

rates being so unjust towards black folks it's something that I want to

learn more about. If you want a nonfiction that talks about this well- it

is a little bit older but it is The New Jim Crow. I'm blanking on the author's name

right now, but it does talk about the American prison system and how it is so

flawed. So. Alright, I'm going to read and I will get back to you are my thoughts

on the first chapter.

Well, I really liked the beginning of this. It is indeed what the cover, the cov-

the side jacket says- the memoir of of is it of really Jacqueline Woodson or is it

imagined? yeah, it's as imagined, but it is the memoir of four friends it is a

memoir of four friends and the primary, right now, protagonist is reflecting back

on the 70s. She has fallen out of touch with her four friends and it's

interesting because she ties these images of how different cultures care

for their dead and you know she is making the kind of metaphor of lost

friends as like, not really like dead to us and like the harsh sense but I was

like a loss just as like one can feel when one is bereft and she also talks in

that first chapter about the passing of her mother and how that had impacted her

and her brother and her father and then the passing of her father and how that

impacted her brother and her and how that prompted her to start thinking

about her friends from the past so it is really good. There's a lot of like a

lyricalness to it. A lot of poetry to it and, yeah, I really really like this and

I think it'll be hard to top and it's quite the short little thing so it

might not even last into February, dependent, because right now I'm like

reading a bunch of things. I'm reading The Twelve Tribes of Hattie. I'm reading

A Duke by Default. I'm reading

Well-Read Black Girl- an essay anthology that's really good too. I'm listening to

few other audiobooks, so we'll see. Now we'll read the first chapter of

Behold the Dreamers

So the beginning of Behold the Dreamers is also really strong and I really liked it

as well. I do have to correct myself, the family that has immigrated to the

states in this text is from Cameroon and the father that you follow is Junde.

You follow Junde as he first creates a resume to apply to the chauffeur

position, and to other jobs I'm sure as well, with Mr. Clark. Mbue makes Mr.

Clark clearly not a likable character he's a very real character but for me

he's not very likable because during the interview process with Junde he doesn't

really listen. So he asks the first interview question which is tell me

about yourself and Junde starts telling him about- Mr. Clark about

himself saying how, you know, he lives with his wife and his six-year-old son

and just kind of a bit of like where they came from, what their, you know, hopes

are and how he's like a very reliable person and the only question that Mr.

Clark has for Junde is if he's legal and he basically asked that question in many

different iterations over and over again. And, you know, Junde did does tell him that yes,

he has an EAD card, um, but Mr. Clark doesn't even give him the opportunity to like

explain that, you know, he's applying for asylum to the States and a little bit

more complicated. You know, Mr. Clark doesn't care about Junde character. He just

wants somebody to drive him around who has paperwork so that he's legal to

drive him around. I'm sure Mr. Clark doesn't pay as much

as he should so... Yeah, and then after the whole process he just tells Junde

that his suit doesn't look good and you can tell from the way that it's written

that Junde had put a lot of work into looking like nice for this interview and

that he was quite nervous. I don't like Mr. Clark. You know bad things happen to

people who deserve them. Not really though but,

you can hope for that, right? So... I'm eager to see what was going to happen in this and

it's also a really strong contender for a February pick. I'm going to have a really hard

time figuring out what to read in February, clearly. Now I'm going to read from

Ghana Must Go

Wow, so, the first chapter of this is really short and it really takes place

in- takes, um, yeah it is in the eyes of the surgeon who is dying,

Kweku. I'm probably not saying that right but Kweku. And Kweku, you know, is

about to leave the home like he is- he knows he's about to die and he is

looking at his wife and kind of like reflecting on his life in a sense and

debating whether to say goodbye to his wife and the chapter finishes of him

exiting the home and his spirit leaving the home so. It's, it's also well written.

I don't know that it's when that's speaking to me as something I want to

read right now so this may be one that I'll get to later on in the year, but it

is worth a read and yeah... They have some cool images in here like his sleepers,

slippers were sleeping by the bed like dogs and things like that. A little bit

of poetry in there so that's also good. The last chapter that I'm going to try

before I run off to work, because I'm going to be late if I don't run off soon,

is an American Marriage.

The first chapter of American Marriage is actually 27 pages and I don't have

time to read the full 27 pages before work but I'm going to give you my like

immediate thoughts of the first like 10 pages. And so, we follow Roy here. He is the

husband in husband wife duo that I mentioned a bit earlier and you follow

him at the very start when he is reflecting back on his youth. So he

originally came from a small town in Louisiana called

Eloe and he moved to Atlanta as well because he went to college in Morehouse,

and so, it's talking about him reflecting back on his small town of Eloe and then

reflecting back on how he met his wife and just kind of the differences between

the small southern town that he was from and then Atlanta and getting used to the

rule from the differences in both places. So, I actually really really like this

even on going through it really fast because I'm kind of short on time. So I

think that it's kind of a mix here. I think I might try to get to Another

Brooklyn and An American Marriage and then if I still have time to read Behold the Dreamers

I'll try to read that in February as well. If not, I'll just add it

somewhere March TBR so and then I'll get to Ghana Must Go at a later time,

but really I am surprised. I wasn't sure that I would want to read all of these, you

know, um, right at the start of the month but I do really like them all, um, so yeah.

I'm gonna to prioritize Another Country, American Marriage, and then Behold the

Dreamers and then Ghanna Must Go I'll read later in the year. So yeah, if you feel

like doing the try a chapter tag I really much

recommend it. It's a really fun tag to kind of figure out what you want to read

next. It's kind of like 112, page 112 tag, that Shawn from Shawn the Book Maniac

started. I really liked both of those tags to kind of help me decide what I

want to read. So yeah, I do hope everyone is doing well

and I will see you in another video soon. Be well folks.

048 Post Connection Attacks Overview - Duration: 4:23.

Ethernet or wired networks you just need to make sure that you're actually

connected to that network so throughout this section I'm going to be running

some of the attacks against a wireless network after connecting to it or I'm

gonna be running it against the virtual not network which acts exactly as an

Ethernet network just to prove to you that this will work against both Wi-Fi

and wired networks so in the first subsection of this section we're gonna

visit some basics and I'm gonna show you how to manually run an ARP spoofing

attack become the man in the middle sniff data bypass HTTP do DNS spoofing

and more cool stuff that you might already know how to do using scripts

such as man-in-the-middle F now the word manually is highlighted here because I

want you to know how to do this independent of scripts that will do

everything for you because once you know how to do stuff manually F scripts fail

then you'll be able to fix it or know where it's going wrong and fix that and

you'll also be able to kind of take out each of these components and plug it

into your own attack and then and then run your more powerful attack I will

also show you how to bypass some security features if they're implemented

on the router side and still be able to run your ARP spoofing without triggering

any alarm now this is all going to be the first subsection of this section in

the next subsection I'm gonna show you how to analyze data flows and start

building up your own attacks so if you have an idea of an attack and there is

no tool that does that attack for you I'm gonna show you how to first of all

analyze see what happens one someone does something or how do you

want this attack to be triggered and then I'm going to show you how to run

this attack and get it to work so we're going to be first of all showing you

some attacks that man in the middle life already implements such as injecting

JavaScript or modifying HTML code but you're going to be doing that manually

you're going to be creating that attack manually so you want to be dependent on

tools such as man-in-the-middle F and then and the last subsection of this

section is where everything clicks together so I'm actually going to show

you how to write your own scripts to run your own attacks so we're going to be

doing attacks that there is no tools around that do it we're going to show

you how to first of all think of an attack and then I'm gonna show you how

to write a script that will execute this attack for you so you won't have to do

it manually every time you want to run it I'm going to be talking about each

component and each part of creating your own attack separately so we're going to

be talking about analyzing data flows and analyzing what happens when when

someone does something on the network we're going to talk about how to come up

with an attack and then we're gonna talk about how to test it and implement that

attack so by the end of this section you're going to be able to implement any

attacks that you think of even if there is no tools that do it for you you're

gonna be able to sit down analyze and write and build up your own

attack so this is crucial because in a lot of scenarios you might have an idea

and this idea will actually work but you might not have the skills to put it to

make it work practically so by the end of this course you'll be able to do such

things and I'm actually as an example we're

gonna be building a tool that's gonna create a Trojan out of any file that any

person downloads in the same network so there is nothing around at the internet

that does that and this just goes to show you how you can use the information

here to build up any attack that you can think of

Mexican TACO ADVENTURE in Puerto Vallarta - Duration: 11:00.

Hello from Puerto Vallarta.

I am hungry, I hope that you are too,

because in this video we are doing a taco tour.

Two words that are very good together.

I don't really know what to expect, to be totally honest.

I was told to be here at a certain time

with an empty stomach, which I have done.

So all I know is that we're going to eat a lot of tacos starting right now.

The first one was really good.

It was a fish taco which is one of my favourites

and it was Mahi-mahi, which was the day's catch,

and they marinated it in lime and orange

and then it had this nice crunchy breading on the outside

and on top I put salsa

and this mixture of carrots and lettuce, avocado sauce, and of course some lime.

It was really good.

So now we're headed to taco stop number two.

This is taco stop number two.

Looks like this and it's a tostada and they make the tostadas here on the grill.

They press them and then put them on the grill so they're nice and fresh.

And it's called a volcan like volcano

because when you put the tomato salsa on top, it's like red flames from a volcano.

Except then I kind of put some avocado sauce on, which, kind of defeats the volcano a little bit.

But it also has beans and carne asada, which is grilled steak.

And it's got chopped onion and cilantro

and then I got some cooling radishes on the side because I'm a bit of a spice baby

so I figured that would come in handy.

Looks a little messy to eat.

Let's go for it.

Do it!

Oh boy!

Looks challenging to eat.

Mmhmm.

Oh it's good.

There's a lot of flavours.

Mmm!

I actually don't normally like tostada as much as tacos.

This is really good.

And I have a feeling it's because it's so so fresh.

Finish with some radish.

¡Muchas gracias!

¡Adios!

Bye bye!

Taco stop number three is a very steamy cart.

I think the guy must be getting a facial as he works.

It's a third generation taco cart.

And they're doing simple tacos made all with beef cheek

and then some just onions and cilantro and then there are two types of sauces.

One is a little spicier than the other

and of course, a squeeze of lime.

So...beef cheek taco.

Here we go.

If it's three generations, I think it's going to be good.

Ooh it's hot!

That was good timing!

Yeah!

It's like a light bulb went off.

Wait, was that your stomach?

Yes!

It's very very tender.

The meat is super...

...it's very tender.

It's like shut up, just eat your damn taco!

I drenched mine in lime so that's pretty much all I can taste.

This cart where we just had the beef cheek taco -

they not only sell the beef cheek but they also sell tongue and eyeball.

And the eyeball taco is what they're known for and it's the one that goes first.

It's the most popular.

Una Reese's por favor.

Claro.

Could I have the cherry one, please?

Cherry?

Yes.

This one.

¡Gracias!

Okay.

We just went to Vallarta Chocolate Factory.

We're going to do this while we're walking 'cause this is after all, a walking tour.

So, we each got to try...

It's a 'walk and choc'.

A 'walk and choc'?

This was breaking up the tacos a little bit.

Stop number four is a chocolate stop.

Mmm!

So I went for a dark chocolate-covered cherry.

And Marc went for Reese.

Reese!

Classic.

As always.

That's kind of what you always get.

My thang.

So we're going to not get hit by a car.

We're going to dodge traffic here.

Would it be worth it for chocolate?

Maybe.

The answer is heck yes.

Depends how good the chocolate is, am I right?

Yeah.

K.

Try mine.

This is Reese.

I'm going to eat mine by the stem.

Mmm!

Oh that is so good!

Mmm!

The milk chocolate is so creamy!

Ohh!

Mine's good too!

Mmm!

It took that long for it to kick in.

Mmm!

Yeah you can tell that's good chocolate.

Yup.

Ooh!

Mmm!

The peanut butter is so creamy too.

Very rich.

Mmm!

Good stop number four!

What do you say we get some pulque?

Yeah. Stop number five.

Yeah.

Another non-taco.

This is for pulque, which I've never had.

No.

I keep hearing about...I see it everywhere.

-Yeah. But I've never tried it myself so...

Let's do it.

The pulque was really good.

It had a very like gentle kind of mellow taste.

And you're meant to sip it, not drink it like a shot.

And it reminded me of apple cider vinegar or kombucha.

So if you like either of those things, I think you would like pulque.

And the mezcal...woooooo!

That was really too strong for me.

Not the kind of thing that I enjoy at all.

However, it's a really popular thing to drink in Mexico, obviously.

So it was neat to try two different things for the first time.

And now the tour continues so -

we'll see what we're going to try next.

I have honestly lost track at this point of what stop this is so

you guys honestly probably have a better idea of how many things we've tried at this point.

This is the al pastor taco, which is one of my favourites.

And I just found this out on the tour.

The pineapple that they put at the top, that kind of seeps down with all the juices,

that started in Mexico City.

So that's something I didn't know.

And there's a salsa here, which is like a sweet salsa

that our guide said is a must-try so we both got that.

By the way, I call this like the taco turn.

When you turn your face like that.

So taco turn time.

Oh!

Good but a little spicy!

Oh my god!

Yeah.

It's a little too spicy for baby me.

Cucumber.

Oh god!

Really good though.

Really good.

But I need to cool my mouth down.

I wish I didn't have this problem.

You ate that in three bites.

Three bites.

Uno, dos, tres.

I like it, obviously.

Next taco is marlin fish taco

with slices of lettuce and then a creamy kind of chipotle sauce, which looks really good.

There are salsas I can add but I just want to try it like this first.

Taco turn.

Mmm!

Wow.

I would never know that that's marlin when I'm looking at it

but you can definitely taste the fishy aftertaste.

In a good way.

And the creamy chipotle sauce is really good.

And not too spicy for me.

Mmm!

I love this tour because I would never...

I don't know about never but I probably would be less likely to order a marlin taco.

Now I get to try it.

This is the last stop on the tour.

Of course we are ending with dessert, which in this case is churros.

Classic Mexican sweet.

And this stand has been making churros the same way for two generations,

which is a very good sign that we're going to enjoy this.

And the way that they make it is special so it's kind of crispy on the outside

but still fresh on the inside.

And after the churros, which looks like this...

so beautiful and golden has been fried in the oil,

they lift it out, cut it up and then it gets sort of rolled in a blend of cinnamon and sugar.

Just a light dusting.

Just a light dusting of sugar!

As if you'd want more that that.

And it smells like heaven and it's still warm in my hand.

And if they've been doing this for two generations, I have a feeling they know what they're doing.

Oh my god!

Woo!

I feel like I should be praying!

Oh that's good!

Oh my god!

Mmm!

You know what?

This is crunchier than other churros that I've had.

But it most certainly is soft on the inside.

And the fact that it's still warm,

I mean it's so fresh you just, there's nothing like that.

That's officially the end of the taco tour, which ended up being a whole lot more than tacos.

Pulque and mezcal and churros and chocolate,

which is really cool.

I think my favourite part of doing a tour like this

is just trying things that I wouldn't normally order maybe

or even know that I should try.

So I really liked trying all the new things.

Leave a comment down below.

Tell me what you would've most liked to try.

À NOUS DEUX 2019 ! - Duration: 9:00.

Hi everyone ! I hope you are well ?

Today we are here for the first video of 2019

To begin I want to wish a happy new year

That 2019 be better than 2018

That you succeed in everything you do

I especially wish you the health because it's more important

Today I'm here to do a retrospective video of my last year

With every "shootings" that I can did during this year

And I'm going to tell in which mood I was during every months during this year

My state of mind at this period

And what I could learn

How I was in my head, my mood, you know what I mean ?!

So...

Let's go !

To start this year I made a first photoshoot with Elisha

She is a very good friend of mine

So for this month I learned to adapt to all circumstances

In photography of course and in the daily life

Here for this shoot the weather wasn't our friend, it was a disaster

There was a big sun and few minutes later there was rainstorm

We didn't understand anything

But it allowed us to adapt to the situation

I think in the daily life it's the same thing

Because in the life there ups and downs

And to stay focused we need to find a fair balance

It's complicated but when we found it this is much simpler

For February I didn't do any photoshoot

But this month was my best month of my year

I learned to enjoy

Because

It's important to enjoy the simple things

Everyhting is ephemeral

And you have to enjoy every moment of life

It's very philosophical but you have to enjoy everything

In March I did a new shooting

With another good friend of mine

All the people I'm going to introduce to you are important to me

I did it with Varduhi

At this period I learned to open to people

I was going to people

I was less shy

I am always shy

I can't deny it otherwise it would be lying

I was really going over to people, yes I was more open

In April I did a shooting with my Mom

At this time I really wanted to do what I love

In May I was in the same mood

But really do what I love

Without worrying about the opinions of others

Do what I love

If it's nice it's good and if it doesn't please it doesn't matter

If I like what I do it's the most important

I learned to assume what I do, to show it

Because I'm proud of it

Duing May I did a shooting with a little girl, and I don't want to show her because it's a child

At this period I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone

It's always something I want to do right now

It's for that I do videos like that, where I talk in front of my camera

Because it's not in my habit to do that

And I'm going out of what I want to do and I want to evolve

Going out of my comfort zone by photographing a little girl and changing the environment

And in my "real life" I didn't really get out of my comfort zone I think

Here it was only on the photographic point of view that I want to talk

During June

It was really the period when I had to deal with my stress

And today I have to deal with it again

I am a really stressed person

It's not catastrophic but it's really annoying, we will not lie to each other

It's maybe ridiculous but I learned to deal with this stress

Because I was in a period where I had some important exams

It was difficult

The baccalaureate is not easy

I managed to manage my stress

Thanks to people around me, friends, and some girls in my class

Who are adorable

For that, during this period, before an exam

And while we were waiting for the results

They send me messages to encourage me

And their messages took away my stress

I was like "okey so some people believe in me, so I can believe in me"

I did that and I was more relax

Thank you so much !

It really helped me

Today when I have an exam I think about those messages

And I tell me that I'm able to do it because I already did worse

Then, during July, I did a shooting with Elisha

And I think she like me we had a moment of letting go

It was the end of our exams

We are waiting for our results, we were in stress

We had to think of something else

At this moment we didn't pay attention, we just wanted to have a good time

This day (again) the weather was not our friend

We had the same weaather than our first shoot… a real disaster

It was anything

In August it was so cool, I was in vacation, in Spain

I did som shootings with my brother, my cat, and Mélina a friend of our family

I learned to trust in my work

I did everyhting only with feelings

And I was like : "okey you did it like that, photos are good

So you can trust in your work"

During September

I have one photo (took by Elisha) that represents my mood at this time

This month was a new beginning

I went to university

And it's a new beginning because

I managed to didn't pay attention to certain things

To think positively

I managed to sort through my head

+=+ , the positive attracts the positive

Thank you Léna Situations

This girl is too inspiring

September was cool

It was my birthday so it was cooler

In October I did another shooting with Elisha

I learned to take my time

For the things that I want to do, to do them well

Don't rush me

In October I did a video and it will be posted after this video

In November

I did any shooting

And I was in the same mood than September

In December it was my last shooting

I did it with Samia, a friend I have known for a long time

During this month I learned to go back to the essentials

I learned to refocus myself on certain things

To focus myself on the things I loved to do, my family and friends

So this is a retrospective on my last year

These are tips that I always apply

And you, if you want to have a better 2019 year

These are things you have to pay attention to

Because these things can change a life

Remove negative people from our life, it changes completely

Think positively, it changes even more

Because we recover ourselves more quickly from the things that happened

And also be focus on certain things

Alll these things help us to be in a good mood, to be happier

This video was a bit long, I will try to make it short, otherwise it can be boring

I hope you enjoy this video

That all I have said can help you to be a better version of yourself in 2019

That 2019 be your year and that you succeed in all that you are going to do

Don't hesitate to put a thumbs up, a comment if you liked it, and to subscribe, it would make me too happy

For 2019 my biggest resolution is

to grow my channel, so it would make me very happy

See you in my next video, bye !

How To DOMINATE With The Deagle In Fortnite! (Deagle vs SMG - Fortnite Battle Royale) - Duration: 10:37.

Hey what is going on guys, in this video today we're gonna be discussing the ongoing debate

of the deagle vs. the smgs in Fortnite.

Ever since double shotgun was removed from the game in season 5, the 5-slot inventory

"meta", has more or less been set as this: Slot 1 is your AR, slot 2 is your shotgun,

slots 3 is the complement to your shotgun, and then slots 4 and 5 are some combination

of either healing, mobility, a sniper, or an explosive weapon.

Some people like to try some more unique combinations at times, but, that's the ideal setup that

you wanna stick with in most situations.

I've already made video breaking down and ranking all of the ARs, which covers slot

1, and then all of the shotguns which covers slot 2, so, I guess it only makes sense to

wrap it up by ranking all of the viable options for slot 3, which basically just means the

deagle and all of the SMGs in Fortnite.

I have talked about the deagle and how much I like it in previous videos, but, most of

those were a few months ago when I was just beginning to learn how to use it.

So, now that I've become much more comfortable with it, I feel like I'll have much better

insight when it comes to helping you guys decide between deagle or SMG, and I'll also

have some good tips on how to be successful with whatever you choose.

So, without further ado, let's get right into it.

Alright, so let's start this video off by specifically talking about the deagle.

I think at this point, every body knows that it's one of the most unique weapons in all

of Fortnite, and its very different than all of the other options for complements to your

shotgun.

So one of the biggest discussions going around in the competitive fortnite community right

now. is basically a debate on whether or not the deagle is overpowered, and if needs to

be nerfed to some degree, or even just straight up vaulted.

That alone should show you how good it really is.

However, I think that the deagle is simply a weapon which is really only overpowered

in the hands of a very good player.

This isn't like the infinity sword, pre-patch compact smg, or the old double pump, the deagle

does certainly have some very powerful strength, but, what keeps it balanced is the fact that

it also has some really relevant weaknesses.

An average player can't just pick up a deagle and suddenly be able to absolutely dominate

and win games because of it.

It requires a certain amount of mechanical skill to be successful with, and, as I previously

mentioned, it also requires a playstyle that is very different than if you were to instead

be using an SMG.

The strengths are probably pretty obvious if you've ever seen a really good player use

the deagle before, and I've discussed most of them on this channel before.

It provides insane structure destruction potential, it's probably the only weapon in the entire

game that offers close, medium, and long range burst damage, you can abuse aim assist with

it really well if you play with a controller, unlike a lot of weapons in fortnite it almost

always rewards good aim, and it's just generally a very versatile weapon, I mean seriously,

depending on the situation you could use it like a shotgun, sniper, or even an AR.

And even though that was a pretty long list of positives, I wanna go more in-depth with

the weaknesses of the deagle.

Because, they show why the SMG may be the better option for a lot of players, and because

I can help you deagle users try to counter those weaknesses.

The biggest one right off the bat is the fact that the deagle requires a lot of precision

to use.

This is especially important in those close range fights where you're basically using

your deagle as a second shotgun.

Having two single shot weapons like the pump and deagle can be a very challenging combination

for even really good players.

And that's why I think it's foolish to assume that the deagle is simply better than the

SMG for every Fortnite player.

A super common situation that happens all the time in Fortnite, is you'll pump a guy

with say 150 health for something like 120 damage.

If you have an SMG as the follow-up to your deagle, you can just keep holding down right

trigger and even if the guy builds, you'll eventually sneak the 1 or 2 shots needed through

his builds to get the kill.

It's something that really requires no skill in terms of accuracy, and it's one of the

biggest selling points of the SMGs in Fortnite.

If you're using pump deagle though, even though you hit that initial shotgun shot for 120

damage and your opponent is really weak, you're still gonna need to land either another shotgun

shot or a deagle shot to actually get the kill.

And that can really be a struggle for a lot of players, because if the enemy builds to

protect himself, you're gonna need to use your deagle to shot out one of his walls,

and then replace it with one of your own and go for a quick edit play, or you can shoot

out the wall and then quickly switch back to your pump and try to land another shot.

It's simply requires so much more quick finger movement and accuracy, than what you would

ever need with an SMG.

However, a quick little tip I have regarding the shotgun and deagle combination to somewhat

counter this weakness, is to not be afraid of using your AR in close range situations.

Obviously, it won't have the same fire rate or accuracy in close range situations as a

normal SMG or compact SMG, however, even just non-AD'ing with any kind of fully auto AR,

is still fairly decent as a close range option.

And, if you have an enemy at something like 25 health, a lot of people will find it way

easier to land 1 AR shot compared to either 1 deagle or 1 shotgun shot.

Another weakness of the deagle, is the fact that out of all the close range options in

the game, it's probably the worst choice for straight up 50/50 fights.

A lot of players in Fortnite have a bad habit of once they switch away from their shotgun

in a hectic close range fight, they don't go back to it until either the fight is over,

or they find safety in something like a 1 by 1 or the inside of a building.

This obviously isn't ideal, and constantly switching back to your shotgun is something

you want to get used to in close range fights, but, if you have an SMG you'll still have

a decent chance in a lot of those 50/50 fights.

With the deagle however that simply isn't the case.

It fires at a slow rate of 1 shot every 1.25 seconds, has relatively unreliable non-ADS

aim, and maybe most importantly, has a max body shot damage of only 75 with the purple

deagle and 78 with the gold deagle.

So, just to compare it to an SMG real quick, with a gold deagle you're shooting 0.8 shots

per second with a max body damage of 78 per shot.

With a blue SMG you're shooting 12 shots per second with a max body damage of 19 per shot.

Although DPS is a somewhat flawed statistic, it actually does kinda make sense to compare

it for close range weapons in a 50/50 fight scenario.

And if you do the math, the gold deagle has a max body shot DPS of 62.4 while the blue

SMG has a max body shot DPS of 228.

So, that means if you're using shotgun deagle as opposed to shotgun SMG, you cannot let

yourself get caught in 50/50 fights where you have the deagle in your hand.

Unless you hit a miracle headshot or you're facing an extremely weak opponent, you are

going to lose that 50/50 to someone with an SMG pretty much every single time.

The way you avoid those 50/50 fights, is by making sure you're building after pretty much

every single shotgun shot.

When you have shotgun SMG you typically wanna hit a shotgun shot, switch to your smg, spray

to finish the kill, and then back to the shotgun.

But, like I described, that doesn't really work with the deagle.

So, the rythm you wanna get down is shoot a shotgun shot then build to protect yourself,

by the time that action is done your shotgun will be ready to fire again, so you repeat

the same process of shoot and then build over and over again.

So, I think that was a solid overall summation of the strengths and weaknesses of the deagle

compared to the SMG, and how you need to play to be successful with it.

So now it's time for my overall verdict and ranking in regards to the deagle vs. the smgs

in Fortnite.

I think that the deagle is simply too good at too many things to not be the #1 best complement

to your shotgun.

Although it definitely isn't as good close range as the SMG, it's so much better in every

other situation.

But, like I've made obvious throughout this video, even though the deagle is objectively

the "best" that doesn't mean it's the best for everybody.

So, now let's rank the SMGs.

What's really interesting when it comes to the SMGs is that statistically, the compact

SMGs are probably better than the normal SMGs.

Just to compare the purple compact SMG to the blue regular SMG, the blue SMG has a slightly

higher DPS, but the compact SMG has a significantly larger clip size, the same spread, and a slightly

more controllable bloom.

However, maybe I'm underestimating the DPS advantage of the blue SMG a bit, because I

feel that I prefer it to either of the compact SMGs.

And, sometimes I'll even be tempted to take a green smg over the compacts as well.

So I'd probably have an overall rankings that goes something like this, from best to worst

the Deagle, blue regular SMG, gold compact smg, green regular SMG, purple compact SMG,

and in last place, the gray regular SMG.

But, I'll admit that a lot of the compact SMG vs. regular SMG decisions just come down

to personal preference, and you should go with whatever you feel more comfortable with.

So, I hope you guys enjoyed this video and if you watched the entire thing be sure to
