Hey, everybody out there.
Coach Dan Long with Get Lean in 12.
And today I have someone here with me
that inspires me to go harder.
Inspires me to train more and more.
And these are the reasons why I want to share this
with you is because this gentleman right here
has been religious for so many years to be in the gym,
working out, and training at full capacity.
And I want him to tell you exactly why.
So what is your number 1, who are you?
Jack Stevens.
Jack Stevens.
And from?
Brandon, Florida.
Originally from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Northeastern Pennsylvania, where the hard coal is.
And how old are you?
I'm 71 years old.
71 years old everybody.
I've been lifting since 1962.
Power lifting, which consists of squat, bench, and deadlift.
And I do everything else.
I call it auxiliary lifts to help the squat, bench,
and deadlift.
Now, besides that, do you do any kind of body weight ever?
Body weight?
Body weight training.
Like any kind of stuff without weights ever?
No.
Mostly weights?
Among
All weights.
Do you hear this?
Do you hear this?
All weight.
This is weights.
This is not even just body weight, OK?
Body weight is even supposedly easier, right?
This gentleman is in his 70's, and you're training
with weights still, right?
Yes, free weights.
Free weights.
Yeah I deadlifted 2 years ago I deadlifted 510.
I was 69.
I squatted 405.
That's my best.
Raw, I like raw without equipment.
It's 215.
I come to the gym because I want to live to be 100.
And when I'm 100, I still want to be coming to the gym.
I don't want to be in a wheelchair or a walker
or have a cane or anything else.
I don't want to be in an assisted living facility.
I don't want to be a burden to my children.
I'm going to take care of myself.
It's determination.
And that's why I come to the gym.
I stay away from McDonald's.
I eat healthy.
And that's what keeps me going.
And that, my friends, is exactly why I wanted you
all you on here today.
Man, thank you so much for sharing that.
This is the inspiration that I'm looking for whenever I train.
This is why I workout like I do.
And this is why I strive every day to feel
at least 20 to 30 years younger, like this gentleman right here.
He's in here doing stuff that, I'm telling you,
25-year-olds are doing.
So I had to make sure that you got a taste of what I see
and what inspires me to go harder and work
every single day on my health.
And it's guys like this.
Thank you so much, man.
I really appreciate it.
All right, so listen.
These are the things that you have
to understand is that the only way you stay motivated
inside either the gym or your house
is you have to move in a certain way,
and you have to move different than people
that are half your age.
Now that's a good way to stay nice and healthy.
Now you see this facility.
This looks intimidating.
It looks intimidating, I know.
But let me tell you.
When you see a gentleman like the gentleman
that I was just showing you.
I'm going to show you what he's doing right.
Look at this.
He doesn't even know that I'm filming him.
This is the kind of inspiration that inspires me.
Now listen, it doesn't have to be in a gym.
This can be at home.
It could be some of your friends.
It could be some of your family, all right?
And I have something for you in a second
here that is going to be perfect for you
if you do work out from home.
Or you work out in your garage or you work out maybe
outside or in a park.
I have something for you in a second here, all right?
But don't go anywhere because I want to show you
a little something here.
Now I'm at a gym, and I have this membership to this gym.
It's actually a Powerhouse Gym here in Tampa, Florida.
If you're ever over here, matter of fact,
make sure you look me up.
I'd love to introduce you to this facility.
But look at this, right?
All this equipment.
All this stuff that's going on here in grassy areas, people
doing lunges, right?
Also machines, free weights, sandboxes,
there's all this stuff.
Now, the biggest key to stay motivated
is to find at least 1 person, at least 1 person that
inspires you, right?
That gentleman inspires me.
He's been inspiring me for the last 8 years.
And all I've wanted to do is just
be like him when I grow up.
I just want to be feeling at least 20 to 30 years younger
than my age.
And that's one of the reasons why I keep working as hard as I
do, is because I'm like him.
I don't want McDonald's to take me down.
I don't want to be in a wheelchair.
I don't want to be living where I
have to have a cane, if that's what I have to do.
I mean I will if I have to, but I don't have to
because I have a choice.
So my choice is to come in and train
and be inspired by others.
And that's my message to you.
My message is find someone that can inspire you.
1 person, 2 people, 3 people, however many people
that you have to make you motivated to exercise.
Now I know after 40 years old it doesn't get easier.
You know that's not a secret, OK.
It's not a secret that over 40 years old
it gets a little more difficult and challenging.
And that's 1 of the reasons why I
have something for you today that's
going to keep you in shape.
It only takes 12 minutes.
Look at this.
You don't even have to go over here and get
on a cardio machine.
You don't have to get on a cardio machine.
You don't have to come over here and get on the grass
and pull weights, like this gentleman.
You don't even have to walk through the front
door right there of the gym.
You don't even have to walk in the gym.
It only takes 12 minutes.
And it's metabolic and it's geared for men and women
over the age of 35 years old.
Specifically designed to the hormonal conditions
that obviously are keeping you from shedding
that unwanted belly fat.
Now I hope that this inspires you.
I want to inspire you.
If you're not training, or you're doing minimal,
I want to inspire you by the gentleman
that I introduced you to.
I hope I can inspire you.
I hope being at this facility today as I'm walking around
and I'm showing you how intimidating it can be,
but you can go to the gym.
You can go with a partner.
You can go with a friend.
Go with a coworker.
Step outside the box.
Get into somewhere and start training,
even if it's at your own house.
Now, so if you train at your own home,
I have specifically something for you today.
All right, up at this link that you will see up here up top.
In a second here I want you to click that link,
and it's going to take you to a product
that we've created called "The Over 40 Ab Solution" that
is going to give you a 12-minute metabolic protocol that you can
use, specifically designed for the hormonal condition--
for men and women-- over the age of 35.
Now what is it going to do?
It's going to help you lose belly fat.
It's going to help you get the body that you desire, right?
It's going to help you be like that 71-year-old gentleman
that I just showed you over there
that's training his butt off.
Working his butt off every single day to stay younger
and to feel younger and to stay out of a wheelchair.
Now if you're in a wheelchair, god bless you.
I want you out of that wheelchair as soon as possible.
But the only way that's going to happen
is you have to work hard for it, OK?
You got to work hard for it.
So up at this link, again, I have something special
for you called "The Over 40 Ab Solution."
You can click on that link.
You can get started right away.
You can download it.
It's instant, and it'll take you to a protocol that
is so simple to use but yet very effective called "The Over 40
Ab Solution."
Now, do me a favor.
Put some comments down below.
Tell me who you are.
And, if you would, if you have any questions,
you're more than welcome to leave those questions down
below, and we'll be happy to answer those for you.
Again, "The Over 40 Ab Solution" is the key
if you're looking to get to the next level.
Coach Dan Long here with Get Lean in 12.
I want to thank you from all over the world
for being on this video with me today.
And keep going strong.
