Not Being Prepared For An Acting Audition by Chad Lindberg - Duration: 2:43.
Film Courage: When you walk into an audition, what are you telling yourself?
Even if you think "I have this idea about who this character is and I don't think
I'm going to get it [the role], I'm going to still show up and try to do what I can."
Chad Lindberg: What do I tell myself?
Film Courage: Are you giving yourself any kind of a talk or no?
Each situation is totally different?
Chad Lindberg: I don't think for me talks really help in that instance.
You know, if I have an audition that day, you're thinking okay, especially if it's
a 5:00 p.m. because I hate later auditions because you have to hold onto that all day.
It drives me crazy.
I like a good, early audition in the morning, let's get it done, you know?
Because it's tough.
You've got to hang onto that all day.
I think preparation is key.
A talk for me won't do it because I'm so nervous and I'm like "Shut up, Chad.
I don't want to hear you babbling right now.
Just go on and do it."
And I think you've got to just go in there and do it, you've got to be prepared.
I like to have my sides here.
I will memorize the whole entire thing, especially if it's the next day.
And one thing I do to sort of help that…Actors, pay attention!
It's really a great thing.
Every phone now has a voice recorder, right?
So I will take the sides and I'll read every line even if it's not my line, I will read
the entire scene out loud at a very monotone voice and then I'll replay that over and
over and over again.
And you go in the next day and it will be memorized.
So I think preparation will take away sort of any anxiety that you…well, you should
be anxious and nervous but it's going to take away that extra moment of fear because,
look we've all…actors, sometimes we don't prepare as much as we should.
We've gone in…we've all been there…we've all been there.
And you get called on it.
You'll go in there and you'll be doing your thing and you lose your place and you've
got to go back, it's awful!
Your face turns red and you know in that instance "I'm not getting this.
This just went out the door."
So you've got to be prepared and it's tough to do because sometimes you'll get
an audition for the next day and you'll get another one and another one, you've
got three the next day and they're all 15 pages long and they want to see every scene,
so you've got to be willing to do that work.

Chevrolet service
and Tesla Model X
Recently we did the same for out Tesla
Well... What are the differences in service
We will go over: what has been done
How long service took for us
about the loner for Tesla and Chevy
and price. Stay with us
I wanted to add something
During filming a short video about Chevrolet Service Center
I was caught
almost arrested
and put me in prison
because I took a pictures without a permission
for shooting
by some reason it was a secret area
In general, get ready to see a prohibited video
about Chevy Service Center
Let's start with what has been done and quality of the work
Based on invoices
I've got papers, Tesla sent an email
they made nothing extraordinary
for Tesla neither Chevrolet
What they made? Tire rotation
both Tesla and Chevrolet,
checked tire pressure,
did alignment for Tesla, not for Chevrolet
checked all systems, liquids,
computers
Tesla got new software update
but no software update for Chevy
even we specifically asked them to update
how long service took?
how long Tesla service took?
Just few hours, in afternoon it was ready
Chevrolet Bolt was in the service 4 days
to be honest
actually work was done in 1 day
for everything needed
but because we asked to fix
some squeaking sounds
it took 3 more days
what loaner car we got while Tesla was in service
we got Tesla, but it's not always the case
we got lucky this time
Tesla Model X 100D
blue, with carbon decor
at Chevy
we got gasoline car
Chevy Malibu
I actually liked to drive it around
for 4 days
had to remember how to use Gas pump again
it was already pretty unusual for me
spent $30 and Chevy did not reimbursed for it
Next, price
it's probably important for many people
is a price for service and maintenance
for 1st service
for 1st service at Chevy
I did not pay anything
seems like 1st service was included in the price of the car
how much Tesla service cost?
$625 was a cost of Tesla service
are there any rumors how will cost
1st service for Model 3?
as far as I know for Tesla Model 3 service plan
is not yet published
but I think they will just add into existing service plan table for Model X and Model S
Model 3 most likely will be
priced a little bit less
than Model S, but don't think will be big difference
the cost of the work (hourly fee) will be the same
strange, why Tesla does not include service cost
at least first ones for such an expensive car
this could be a strategic mistake for Tesla
it would feel way better
when owner does not have to pay for first service
so, this is roughly an idea
what to expect for Model 3 owners
another question - will I go back to same service center for my Chevy Bolt EV
most likely not
we will try another one, for few reasons
took long, we probably would be okay with it
second, was really hard to
get a hold of person managing our service
called multiple times during the day without any luck
he did call in the end of the day and apologies
but still was hard to understand what is going on
and third, when I was taking video in Chevy service
Chevy security was very unfriendly
almost escorted me from Chevy facility
treated me with no respect
it was pretty unpleasant experience
not much of the customer service
even back in Ukraine more pleasant
for car owners

When I go to Ise shrine I want to eat Ise-Udon for lunch.
This is the popular restaurant where have much signature paperboard.
This restaurant has many dishes of noodles.
What is Ise-jiman?
I'm interested in Kyodo-syokuzen and Gocha-Ise-Udon.
I ordered Gocha-Ise-Udon.
Udon stained with soy sauce color.
It is a characteristic of Ise-Udon that it is very soft.
I eat the topping shrimp tempura.
It is soaked in soy sauce.
Meat isn't sweet seasoning.
I'll eat Udon immediately.
I'd like soy sauce flavor.
Fried tofu is soaked in soy sauce.
Furthermore it soaks soy sauce and I eats it.
Salt excess.
Like curry udon,I eat it with caution to soup.
I also make soy sauce sink into shrimp tempura, and eats.
It is like Ten-tsuyu.
The batter peeled off.
I eat shrimp's tail.
Kamaboko.
I can suck the noodles.
But I fold and eat noodles.
I soak soy sauce into Fried tofu and eat it.
I also make Kamaboko brown and eat.
Ise's soy sauce is the very good seasoning.
I think so.
Just sayin'.
If it's only noodles, it's monotonous.
But Gocha-Ise-Udon has many toppings, so I don't get tired.
Please see, it's thick, and is soy sauce noodles.
But Ise's resident doesn't eat Ise-Udon at a restaurant.
They buy udon at a store and eat it at home.
That would depend on a home.
But Ise's friend who introduced this restaurant to me was saying so.
I envy people in this area who can eat Ise-Udon at any time.
The rest of Ise-Udon is small.
All the food became brown.
Everything is the color of soy sauce.
I ate delicious Ise-Udon.

Imagine there are two restaurants.
In one of them the interior design is very good, service is also very fast.
But the taste of food of this restaurant is very poor.
On the other side the second restaurant does not have great interior design, service is
also slow there but the taste of the food here is so great that there is no other restaurant
in your locality which can provides that much tasty food.
The price of the food of these two restaurants is also same.
So in which restaurant you want to eat?
Obviously in that restaurant which provides tasty food.
Like this, imagine there are two YouTube channels.
In one of the channels everything is good, but the content of the videos is very poor.
That means the content is neither interesting nor funny.
Even it doesn't help us in anything in our life.
On the other side, the editing, camera quality of the 2nd channel is not very good, but the
content of the videos is highly valuable.
Now what is the meaning of valuable content?
A valuable content is that, which provide some real values in your life, it may be about
something that can provide knowledge or comedy or music or about anything else.
It means, when you are sad it makes you happy, when you are in a problem it brings a solution
to that problem or at least when you are bored, it removes your boredom.
So in these two channels which one will you prefer and will watch their videos regularly?
Obviously of that channel which provides better content.
So as the taste of the food is the most important thing in a restaurant, the content of the
videos is also the most important thing for a youtube channel in the same way.
You may ask any successful YouTuber, everyone will tell you this.
Because, it is the truth.
Those who have overcome the struggling period in YouTube do know that the growth of the
channel did happen from when the content of their videos started to become great.
So smart idea 1: first focus on your content Now imagine that there is a body building
competition in which you want to come first.
And you have never been to gym and have not done any kind of exercises before.
So what you need to do first if you want to fulfill your this wish?
You have to join a gym, and have to be consistent to the gym.
That means, it is not that you will go back to back 2 days, then you will vanish for 7
days.
If you do this, neither your muscles will grow nor will you be allowed to take part
in that competition.
The same is also applicable for YouTube.
In every minute, videos of 300 hours get uploaded on YouTube.
Now if you want to learn swimming in this big ocean what will you need most?
Patience with consistency.
You will not become a bodybuilder after going to a gym for just one day.
Likewise your channel will not become successful after uploading just 1 video.
Just as you have never been to the gym before, likewise you have not made any videos before.
So as, if you become consistent in going to the gym your muscles will develop.
Likewise your video making skill will develop if you stay consistent on YouTube.
So as after being consistent to the gym, you will be able to take part in a bodybuilding
competition.
Likewise if you stay consistent on YouTube, your YouTube channel will one day make its
own space on YouTube.
You just have to stay consistent till the time that needed for growing up the muscles.
The rest will be handled by YouTube.
You don�t need to worry about it.
Now we everyone know this.
But why can't we stay consistent?
To me, the big reason of this is expectation.
You did upload videos daily for 1 month.
Views didn't come.
And then you quit.
So what is this?
Will you be able to make body like Hritik Roshan after going to gym just for 1 month?
But if you want to take part in that competition, don't you have to make body like hritik roshan?
If you want to have as many viewers as your favorite youtuber has then you will have to
post as many videos as your favorite youtuber have posted for the same time span.
After that you may expect that you will get thousands or millions of views.
You can see any YouTube channel, you may not find any one channel which has uploaded videos
daily for last 2 or 3 years but still have not crossed 100k subscribers.
If you find any channel like that, then the main reason is that the content of their videos
is not up to the mark.
So, smart idea 2: consistency is the key If a customer comes to your restaurant, you
obviously want that this customer will come to your restaurant again, and if possible
he will also bring some of his friends with him.
So for this the first important thing is that the food has to be great.
Next thing is how you will treat with him.
So if the customer gets a gentle behavior from you, he will feel more comfortable.
And the possibility of his coming to the restaurant next time with his friends will increase.
And if you do opposite to this, that means if you behave rudely, or you give bad service
then next time he will definitely not come and moreover he will also suggest his friends
not to come.
Likewise, if you give replies to the comments made by the viewers in your videos and make
them happy, then the chances will increase that they will also share your videos with
their friends.
And more shares results in quick growth.
So always respect your viewers.
Because, without them, your channel is worth nothing.
So smart idea 3: build up community Without these, there are also many things
which are essential to become successful on YouTube.
Those are titles, thumbnails, description, collaboration, marketing etc.
But I think these 3 c's- content, consistency and community, are the most important things
among them.
So if I represent these things according to their importance in a pi chart, then it will
look like this - 50% for content, 25% for consistency, 15% for community and 10% for
the remaining things.
You must remember - "patience is always the key to success."

BUT YOU CAN DO IT WITH A PICK PROBABLY DO IT WITH
A FORK JUST ANY PIECE OF METAL THAT WILL GET
IT FREE AND CLEAR SO THIS ONES FREE AND CLEAR
IT'S GOT A HOLD ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT
NEXT WE'RE GOING TO DO
SO WE GET THE THE VALVE STEM THAT'S OPEN
ALL THE WAY THROUGH WITHOUT THE
CHECK VALVE IN THERE THIS IS GOING TO BE A
LITTLE BIT TIGHT BUT THIS IS VERY PLIABLE RUBBER
IF IT'S A LITTLE BIT TIGHT YOU CAN GET SOME
OIL AND PUT IT DOWN IN THERE
YOU JUST SHOVE THE INJECTOR DOWN IN THE
VALVE STEM
YOU TAKE THE
CAP STEM WE CREATED
SCREW IT ONTO THERE
NOW YOU TAKE THE END OF THE STRAW
PUT IT INTO THE CARB CLEANER
NOW WE TAKE OUT TINY LITTLE ALLIGATOR CLIPS
THAT WE'RE GOING TO PUT INTO THE CONNECTORS
ON THE INSIDE OF THE FUEL INJECTOR
GONNDA LEAVE THOSE CONNECTED
THAT OPENS IT WHEN IT'S ENERGIZED IT OPEN
WHEN IT'S NOT ENERGIZED IT'S CLOSED SO AS I
ENERGIZE THE FUEL INJECTOR
I'LL SPRAY DOWN ON THE CARB CLEANER
