I'm just a guy with a channel here and I'm getting recognized on the street now
in a foreign country so alone I hope your flight went well also he was he was
flying somewhere and uh yeah and and and so we get on the bus to the when you're
in a certain airport you have to take a bus to the plane actually at the gate I
know most Americans aren't used to seeing that it is kind of wacky but
we're talking about Bitcoin out loud and then all of a sudden this is a Canadian
Israeli guy chimes in and he's like we were talking about the traceur and he's

K-pop mega group B-T-S has earned a spot in this year's edition of the Guinness World
Records... for having the most Twitter engagements for a music group.
Guinness World Records shared the news on its official Twitter account after congratulating
the group for its (quote) "stellar performance" at the American Music Awards.
It has yet to reveal how many retweets or posts B-T-S acquired for the performance,

CBS News and PBS cut ties to Charlie Rose following sex allegations - Duration: 0:31.
CBS News and PBS have cut ties with famed talk show host Charlie Rose after a series
of sexual harassment allegations were made against him.
Rose expressed his deep apology for what he described as inappropriate behavior, but he
added he didn't think all the accusations against him were accurate.
His sacking came less than 24 hours after the Washington Post published the allegations
based on interviews with eight women who described "unwanted sexual advances."

CCTV footage shows North Korean soldier crossing MDL during pursuit of defector - Duration: 2:06.
The UN Command has released CCTV footage of last Monday's defection by a North Korean
soldier at the Joint Security Area.
In scenes just like an action movie,... North Korean soldiers violated the Armistice Agreement
twice during the incident,... with one soldier briefly crossing the Military Demarcation
Line during his desperate pursuit of the defector.
Kim Hyun-bin leading us off at the Defense Ministry.
The United Nations Command on Wednesday released a video showing a North Korean soldier defecting
to the South through the Joint Security Area of Panmunjeom last Monday.
The video shows the defector was using a jeep for his escape until it became stuck in a
drainage ditch.
As the defector got out of the jeep and started sprinting towards the Military Demarcation
Line separating the two Koreas, four North Korean soldiers opened fire at him.
Dozens of rounds were fired with several bullets hitting the defector.
The footage also shows one North Korean soldier crossing the military demarcation line for
a few seconds during the pursuit.
Soon after crossing the MDL, the soldier returns to the north side of the border.
The defector was wounded and fell unconscious on the southern side of the border.
Three South Korean soldiers crawled towards him and dragged him to safety.
The UNC Special Investigation Team said that the investigation results show that North
Korea violated the UN Armistice Agreement twice during the pursuit.
"The key findings of the special investigation team indicate that the KPA violated the Armistice
Agreement by... one firing weapons across the MDL, two by actually crossing the MDL
temporarily."
The UNC notified North Korea of these violations at the JSA on Wednesday through the normal
communications channel in Panmunjeom, and requested a meeting to discuss the results
of the investigation and measures to prevent future violations.
The UNC Special Investigation Team said on Wednesday the investigation team was made
up of personnel from Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and the United States.
Members from Sweden and Switzerland of the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission also
observed the process.

Korea's trade deficit in agriculture sector dipped with KORUS FTA: expert - Duration: 0:47.
South Korea's agriculture sector is expected to be heavily impacted by an upcoming amendment
of the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement.
At a meeting jointly hosted by the trade and agricultural ministries on Wednesday,... an
expert from the Korea Rural Economic Institute said the country's trade deficit in the agriculture
sector has worsened since the bilateral FTA took effect... to stand at around 750-million
U.S. dollars.
He said the prices of local agricultural products have nosedived... and domestic producers are
unable to compete with surging imports from the U.S.
In particular, U.S. beef imports dominated the domestic market in September,... reaching
nearly 48-percent of all beef imports in Korea.

The United States has imposed additional sanctions on North Korea... as well as Chinese firms
with suspected business ties with the regime.
This comes... just a day after naming North Korea a state sponsor of terror.

The U.S. Treasury Department says it's blacklisting one Chinese national,... 13 entities... and
20 shipping vessels... for helping Pyongyang bypass UN sanctions.
In a statement Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said... the new measures were
in line with Washington's efforts... to maximize economic pressure... and isolate the regime
from external sources of trade and revenue.
The sanctions will target transportation networks,... as well as individuals and trading firms with
business ties to North Korea... to cut off funding for its nuclear and missile developments.
The U.S. has already introduced a slew of new punitive measures against Pyongyang this
year... which also target Chinese and Russian entities.
According to the Treasury Department,... three Chinese trading companies...
exported roughly six-hundred-50 million U.S. dollars in goods to North Korea... while importing
100 million dollars worth... over a recent four-and-a-half year period.
These included vital commodities like coal and iron... as well as vehicles, machinery
and other items... associated with North Korea's construction of nuclear reactors.
The latest move comes... just one day after President Trump announced... the U.S. was
reinstating North Korea... on its list of state sponsors of terrorism.
The regime is now one of four countries in the world to be designated as such... joining
the ranks of Iran, Sudan and Syria.
The reclusive nation had been removed from that list... in 2008 under the previous George
W. Bush administration... as part of a nuclear deal which ultimately collapsed.

Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe resigns, ending 37-year rule - Duration: 2:05.
Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has resigned... succumbing to a week of overwhelming popular
and political pressure.
Zimbabweans celebrated upon hearing the news, taking to the streets to say nearly four decades
of autocratic rule was enough.

There are scenes of jubilation as Mugabe's 37 years of rule came to an end.
His surprise announcement to resign on Tuesday came shortly after his ruling Zanu PF kicked
off impeachment proceedings.
It was not made in person, but through a letter given to parliament for the Speaker to read.
In his letter, Mugabe said he was concerned for the welfare of the people of Zimbabwe
and wanted a smooth transfer of power.
Roars of celebration erupted inside parliament and on the streets of Harare.

that is well organized, no corruption, no stealing, no cheating and no dictatorship
in the country.
This is what we are looking at and I want to give praise to the lord…."
It has been one week since military action saw Mugabe confined to his own house.
The impeachment procedure brought a sense of legality to what would have been an outright
coup.
Mugabe had been under intense pressure from all sides to step down, and he once defied
those calls in a speech last week.
Hours before his resignation, the 93-year-old was reported to have called for a routine
Cabinet Meeting as if it was still business as usual.
But only six out of 23 attended, with the rest attending the impeachment proceedings.
There are reports that a movement to remove Mugabe from power started a few months ago.
But, his sacking of Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa about two weeks ago in favor of
his wife Grace made that movement go full throttle.
A Zanu PF official said Mnangagwa would take over as the country's leader within 48 hours.

The Nasdaq was the best performing index,... climbing over one percent to finish at six-thousand-eight-hundred-62.

Grassroots self-help movement of parenting budding in S. Korea - Duration: 4:54.
Being a parent is a full-time job, and a tough one at that.
One of the biggest challenges: finding places outside the house to spend quality time with
your kids.
Venues like cafes often frown upon children coming in,... especially if they are being
loud and running around.
Lee Jeong-yeon introduces to us some unique spaces that cater to the needs of families,
especially mothers with little ones that can't keep still.
Parenting has never been an easy or a short-term job.
And one of the biggest challenges for parents these days is to find places that support
and encourage activities for both parents and children.
Family friendly venues are decreasing in number, and some commercial spaces are even declaring
themselves "no kid zones."
What is giving rise to such family-unfriendly attitude?
(Korean - steve) "Two factors come into play.
First, more people are becoming individualistic.
So there's an increased sense of not wanting their personal time or space disturbed.
Second, as families become smaller, there are fewer people who can educate children
about public etiquette."
Amid this social trend, more parents are looking for places where not only kids are welcomed,
but also provide a healthy surrounding for both parents and children.
(Stand-up) To deal with such demand, some local governments
are working to create more environments that are kid-friendly.
In Seoul, the highest concentration of venues like that are here in Jungnang-gu District.
And we're about to check out one of its many community childcare centers.
It's less than an hour before closing time, but moms are still coming in.
Here at one of the eight community childcare centers currently running in the district,
parents can come and go with their children any time during the day, free of charge.
The center is equipped with a private area for breastfeeding, an art zone for nurturing
creativity, and other facilities including a library, a playground, and a room for first-hand
experience programs.
(Korean - steve) "Our support center was founded based on the
district's five-year plan to create a family-friendly district.
It's been running for two years now, but already more than 120 people use it everyday.
The district government is planning to open eight more by the end of next year so that
there is one in every neighborhood."
(Korean - steve) "I usually go to the park or to kids' cafes
with my children, but sometimes other people feel uncomfortable when the kids are noisy.
So this is the only place I feel totally comfortable with my kids."
(Korean - steve) "We don't live too close by, but despite the
distance we come here often because the kids play better outside, but the kids cafes near
our house are very pricey."
While these centers reflect the efforts of the government, a grassroots self-help movement
by Korean women is also on the rise.
Mother Center is one prime example.
It was benchmarked from Germany's Mother Centers that started as a way to break through the
isolation women often experience when they have children.
It's a safe place for parents to not only mingle, but also learn new skills like pottery
and calligraphy.
(Korean - steve) "The first time I came was for a knitting
class.
I loved that I could learn something while having my child on my lap.
I could gain a sense of achievement and relieve my stress at the same time."
(Korean - steve) "Mothers can relate to each other about being
a mom over coffee.
I hope more centers can open up."
Although there is freedom in choosing the programs at the center, there are also drawbacks
from being a fully self-funded facility.
(Korean - steve) "The center runs on monthly fees from moms
as well as profits from the cafe.
But the monthly rent itself is expensive, so it's sometimes a struggle.
We need all the support we can get from the government."
Experts say that the appearance of such centers reflect the parents' desire to spend more
time with their kids, and these spaces provide an opportunity to see child rearing as a fun
activity, and not just a responsibility.
(Korean - steve) "Voluntary movement is always longer-lasting.
Government projects have to be standardized which means forfeiting flexibility.
The essence of these movements is for the parents to build trust amongst themselves,
which is something the government cannot do."
In order to relieve the burden of parenting, experts say that these grassroots centers
would be the most stable solution.
But in order for them to operate long-term, the government would have to provide more
support,… while ensuring their autonomy, and leaving it to the community to manage
the centers in a way that benefits both parents and children.
