Grassroots self-help movement of parenting budding in S. Korea - Duration: 4:54.

Being a parent is a full-time job, and a tough one at that.

One of the biggest challenges: finding places outside the house to spend quality time with

your kids.

Venues like cafes often frown upon children coming in,... especially if they are being

loud and running around.

Lee Jeong-yeon introduces to us some unique spaces that cater to the needs of families,

especially mothers with little ones that can't keep still.

Parenting has never been an easy or a short-term job.

And one of the biggest challenges for parents these days is to find places that support

and encourage activities for both parents and children.

Family friendly venues are decreasing in number, and some commercial spaces are even declaring

themselves "no kid zones."

What is giving rise to such family-unfriendly attitude?

(Korean - steve) "Two factors come into play.

First, more people are becoming individualistic.

So there's an increased sense of not wanting their personal time or space disturbed.

Second, as families become smaller, there are fewer people who can educate children

about public etiquette."

Amid this social trend, more parents are looking for places where not only kids are welcomed,

but also provide a healthy surrounding for both parents and children.

(Stand-up) To deal with such demand, some local governments

are working to create more environments that are kid-friendly.

In Seoul, the highest concentration of venues like that are here in Jungnang-gu District.

And we're about to check out one of its many community childcare centers.

It's less than an hour before closing time, but moms are still coming in.

Here at one of the eight community childcare centers currently running in the district,

parents can come and go with their children any time during the day, free of charge.

The center is equipped with a private area for breastfeeding, an art zone for nurturing

creativity, and other facilities including a library, a playground, and a room for first-hand

experience programs.

(Korean - steve) "Our support center was founded based on the

district's five-year plan to create a family-friendly district.

It's been running for two years now, but already more than 120 people use it everyday.

The district government is planning to open eight more by the end of next year so that

there is one in every neighborhood."

(Korean - steve) "I usually go to the park or to kids' cafes

with my children, but sometimes other people feel uncomfortable when the kids are noisy.

So this is the only place I feel totally comfortable with my kids."

(Korean - steve) "We don't live too close by, but despite the

distance we come here often because the kids play better outside, but the kids cafes near

our house are very pricey."

While these centers reflect the efforts of the government, a grassroots self-help movement

by Korean women is also on the rise.

Mother Center is one prime example.

It was benchmarked from Germany's Mother Centers that started as a way to break through the

isolation women often experience when they have children.

It's a safe place for parents to not only mingle, but also learn new skills like pottery

and calligraphy.

(Korean - steve) "The first time I came was for a knitting

class.

I loved that I could learn something while having my child on my lap.

I could gain a sense of achievement and relieve my stress at the same time."

(Korean - steve) "Mothers can relate to each other about being

a mom over coffee.

I hope more centers can open up."

Although there is freedom in choosing the programs at the center, there are also drawbacks

from being a fully self-funded facility.

(Korean - steve) "The center runs on monthly fees from moms

as well as profits from the cafe.

But the monthly rent itself is expensive, so it's sometimes a struggle.

We need all the support we can get from the government."

Experts say that the appearance of such centers reflect the parents' desire to spend more

time with their kids, and these spaces provide an opportunity to see child rearing as a fun

activity, and not just a responsibility.

(Korean - steve) "Voluntary movement is always longer-lasting.

Government projects have to be standardized which means forfeiting flexibility.

The essence of these movements is for the parents to build trust amongst themselves,

which is something the government cannot do."

In order to relieve the burden of parenting, experts say that these grassroots centers

would be the most stable solution.

But in order for them to operate long-term, the government would have to provide more

support,… while ensuring their autonomy, and leaving it to the community to manage

the centers in a way that benefits both parents and children.

HyunA Reveals Thoughts As A Mentor On "The Unit"

In a recent interview and pictorial spread with Cosmopolitan magazine, HyunA shared her thoughts on KBSs idol rebooting program The Unit.

In the show, she appears as one of the mentors alongside Rain, SHINees Taemin, San E, Urban Zakapas Jo Hyun Ah, and Hwang Chi Yeol.

I understand how [the contestants] feel more than anyone else because Ive also gotten to where I am today through my experience as a trainee and rookie, HyunA commented.

If I were to return to when I first debuted, I would want to learn and enjoy myself more. She explained how that was the advice she wants to give to the contestants of The Unit, to learn as much as they can from the experience while still having fun.

Known for her sexy image, the idol also stated how confidence was the secret behind her demeanor on stage. She expressed, If you purposely act while thinking that you have to be sexy, it becomes too obvious.

I just confidently showcase what I practiced relentlessly offstage. Then, it naturally appears sexy.. Meanwhile, HyunA is set to make a comeback next month with an album she promises will be the most HyunA-like album yet.

How to Use Pascal's Wager - Duration: 6:31.

Hello, everyone! Cosmological here.

Today I'm going to be doing something slightly different.

Instead of responding to a video, I'm going to teach you about how to use what is inarguably the best argument for religion: Pascal's Wager.

So, let's go.

*Break is Over by Krix, AKA my awesome intro/outro music plays*

If you're unfamiliar with Pascal's Wager, allow me to introduce it. to you.

The argument was devised by Blaise Pascal, a 17th century French

mathematician and physicist who also dabbled in philosophy for some reason.

It goes something like this:

If you believe in God and you're right, you go to heaven.

If you don't believe in God and you're right, then you just die.

If you believe in God and you're wrong, then you just die.

But if you don't believe in God and you're wrong, oh boy. Things are not looking good for you.

So by now you can clearly see that this argument is brilliant, flawless, and airtight.

Some people think it has problems, but they are wrong.

I'll leave a playlist of videos that try and show some of these supposed issues with Pascal's wager in the description,

but there's no need to watch them, since, I assure you, Pascal's Wager is perfect and irrefutable.

Well, okay, there is one very, very, very small minute issue with it, but I'll address that later.

So, now that we've established what Pascal's Wager is and that it's such a great argument, here's the important part:

How you use it.

Let's say you're having a friendly debate with an atheist and you intend to prove your position to them.

You see, you can't just use Pascal's Wager right at the very beginning.

That would be like if the first level of game had all the hardest enemies. You have to give your opponent a fighting chance.

Besides they always say to save the best for last!

Let's say you're up against a particularly good debater. This atheist is tearing apart your arguments left and right.

He's pointing out your arguments from personal incredulity, quote mining, god of the gaps, all sorts of fallacies!

It is at this point that you get out your secret weapon.

Now, to the untrained eye, resorting to a pragmatic argument for believing in God, like Pascal's Wager,

after your previous at least somewhat evidentially based arguments have all been debunked,

may seem like a desperate ploy to reassure yourself in the face of your quickly-crumbling beliefs being torn apart.

However, this is simply not the case. In fact, using Pascal's Wager is your secret weapon!

It reminds the atheist that no matter how much more honest, realistic, and scientifically accurate their beliefs are than yours,

you still totally win the who-gets-the-better-afterlife game if you're right, and if they're right, then it's just a tie.

Now, at this point you may or may not have noticed the one teeny tiny flaw in Pascal's Wager.

This is the one little thing I was talking about earlier.

You see, technically, Pascal's Wager could be used by any religion that rewards and punishes you based on belief and/or practice of said religion or lack thereof.

And sure, that does mean you have to ignore any other religion that could use the same argument in the same way whenever you use it.

And yes, okay, you also have to ignore possibilities outside of the dichotomy of a god that sends you to either a good or a bad afterlife versus no God and no afterlife at all.

But, not to worry! I have a solution, and trust me, it fixes everything.

You see, these perceived failures of Pascal's Wager actually stem from its greatest strength!

It's not an evidential argument. It doesn't even try to prove God exists. It's a pragmatic argument for why you should believe in God.

But nobody has ever actually taken full advantage of Pascal's Wager.

Ever since it was first proposed, people have been using it to defend their pre-existing religious beliefs.

Since this is such a great argument, it works well, of course, but Pascal's wager is not being used to its full potential.

That changes now!

I'd like to introduce to you a brand new religion built entirely around Pascal's Wager.

I call it: Pascalianism!

Here's how it works:

If you believe in Pascalianism and you're right, you will go to the best possible afterlife; better than any afterlife offered by any other religion.

For convenience, we'll call this realm Oz, because I really like those books.

If you don't believe in Pascalianism and you're wrong, you will go to the worst possible afterlife; much worse than any bad afterlife that's used to punish you for not believing in and/or practicing any other religion.

We'll call this place Hevenn, because it's confusing and fun!

If you believe in Pascalianism and you're wrong, maybe nothing will happen, or maybe you'll go to some other bad afterlife, but nothing nearly as bad as you would've risked by not believing in Pascalianism and chancing ending up in Hevenn!

If you don't believe in Pascalianism, then sure, maybe nothing will happen, and I guess you won't have to end up in Hevenn, but you could still end up in some other bad afterlife, and any good afterlife you might land yourself in won't be nearly as good as Oz would have been.

See, that's the best way to use Pascal's Wager: construct an unsupported religion *around it* rather than using it to defend a pre-existing unsupported religion.

Anyway, that's all I have for now. If you disagree with me, make sure to leave a dislike and an angry comment, and subscribe to become a Pascalianismist! (Yes, that is what a follower of Pascalisnism is called.)

*Break is Over by Krix, AKA my awesome intro/outro theme plays again*

Thanks for watching with subtitles! Did you know that I always make sure to write these captions before I publish my videos?

BREAKING: Top Clinton Donor Just Found Dead Days Before Indictments Due - Duration: 5:54.

The number of deaths close to the Clintons is climbing by the day.

What might have once been brushed off as coincidences are fast becoming an epidemic that won't

be ignored for much longer.

Even if there are politicians who consider themselves to be above the law, the American

people don't feel the same way, and it's getting very easy to connect the dots.

Donors to the Clinton Foundation are numerous, but few have raised seven figures for the

former presidential candidate.

Those who have were no doubt on the short list for the would be Clinton administration's

cabinet.

However, all of that was derailed when President Trump took the victory and Hillary was left

with nothing but two failed campaigns and a big mess to clean up.

Cleaning up that mess would have been a lot easier if she had actually won and been in

charge of the White House, but since she isn't, she's apparently making due.

The long list of criminal activity that many suspect the Clintons to have been involved

in is only as good as the proof that can be brought, and those who hold that proof just

keep waking up dead.

Case in point, Houston Lawyer Steve Mostyn who just days ago lost his life to sudden

onset mental illness.

Your News Wire reports that Mostyn was found dead barely before indictments were to come

down:

"Top Hillary Clinton donor and Democratic Party operative Steve Mostyn was found dead

on Wednesday, just days before the sealed indictments are expected to be handed out.

He was 46.

His wife, Amber Mostyn, who also served as an aide to Bill and Hillary Clinton, told

The Texas Tribune that her husband died after 'a sudden onset and battle with a mental

health issue.'

A prominent lawyer and dirty tricks political operative, Steve Mostyn was one of Hillary

Clinton's top campaign donors, raising over $1 million and working closely with the Clinton

team in Texas."

It was common knowledge that the Clinton foundation had some pretty shady business partners, but

since everyone was so sure that Hillary was going to win, the ends were just going to

have to justify the means.

That didn't end up being the case though, and now all their eggs being in that one basket

is making for a pretty scary looking future if you're a member of the DNC.

However, the democratic party is nothing if not great at covering their tracks.

Mostyn might have joined the ranks of Seth Rich and others who were brazen enough to

defy Hillary, but he's not the only liability left in the wind.

"The sudden and unexpected death of the elite Democratic operative has sparked fears

the Clinton camp is "cleaning house" before the indictments are unsealed and legal cases

begin.

There are 10 sealed indictments in Houston.

Let's see if it now drops to nine.

The news of Steve Mostyn's sudden death comes after William D. Campbell, a Russian

insider who was due to testify to a Senate committee on Monday that Hillary Clinton accepted

bribes in the uranium scandal, went into hiding, telling close friends that he survived an

attempt on his life."

World Net Daily initially reported the details of Mostyn's untimely death"

A wealthy Democratic mega-donor who co-founded the Ready for Hillary PAC, which helped launch

Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign for the White House, has died of a gunshot wound to

the head after "a sudden onset and battle with a mental health issue," his family

says.

Steve Mostyn, a 46-year-old Texas trial lawyer who reportedly contributed millions to pro-Clinton

super PACs, was found dead in his Houston home on Nov. 15.

Mostyn's death was ruled a suicide by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to the New York Times, Mostyn's wife, Amber, said her husband died after a

"sudden onset and battle with a mental health issue."

The Mostyns were major Democratic donors, giving $5.2 million to PACs supporting then-President

Obama and Democrats in Congress in 2012.

They contributed nearly $10 million to state races in Texas in 2014.

During the 2016 election, they also gifted nearly $3.5 million to candidates for federal

offices.

In 2016, Mostyn, founder of Mostyn Law in Houston, which focused on hurricane and hailstorm

lawsuits, also contributed two separate donations of $1 million each to the pro-Hillary Clinton

super PAC Priorities USA Action, the Times reported.

Clinton allies ran Priorities USA Action and spent more than $126 million on political

ads attacking then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Clinton campaign top lawyer Marc Elias, who is chairman of Perkins Coie's Political

Law practice, is now on the board of Priorities USA Action.

Elias reportedly hired private research firm Fusion GPS to investigate Trump.

Fusion GPS compiled the so-called Trump dossier.

In 2015, the government watchdog Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, or FACT,

urged the Federal Election Commission to investigate possibly illegal coordination between the

Clinton campaign and Mostyn's Ready for Hillary PAC.

According to a report by the Daily Caller, FACT asked the commission to determine whether

the campaign illegally accessed an email list of 4 million names from the super PAC.

"FACT asserts that the list swap should be considered an in-kind donation – which

would constitute illegal coordination between the campaign and PAC," the Daily Caller

reported at the time.
