the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is now receiving the stable Android Pie update

according to a report by Sammobile the OTA update is currently rolling out in

Germany but it is expected to reach other markets over the next few days the

Android Pie update comes to the galaxy note 9 just a few weeks after Samsung

rolled out the update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus in a few markets

according to the report by Sammobile the Android Pie update is rolling out for

both beta and non beta users for beta users running Android Pie with one UI

already this stable update is around 95 megabytes in size for non beta users

running on Oreo the Android Pie OTA update should be over one gigabyte in

size the Android Pie update for the galaxy note 9 will bring Samsung's new one

UI user interface which the company first announced late last year when it

showcased its foldable smartphone apart from bringing Pie based features like

adaptive battery and adaptive brightness the OTA update will change the layout of

the phone offering a minimalistic interface for easier one-handed use the

galaxy note 9 was due to receive the Android Pie update in January as per

Samsung's roadmap in fact the galaxy S9 duo were supposed to get the stable Pie

update this month but Samsung began pushing the update a month early in

select markets a broader rollout of Pie for the galaxy note 9 and Galaxy S9

should take place over the next few days

S.M.A.R.T. Goal Setting for 2019 💫 - Duration: 9:01.

Right, it's New Years Eve, but you're probably watching this a little bit

later. I have come to the woods to have a think about the year just gone by and

think about what I want to put in place for the new year. Now I know for some

people the changing of the year feels kind of arbitrary and it's just a date

in the calendar but I think that it's a good excuse to take stock, and I have

been using the official Veggie Magnifique year-in-review PDF and you can too. It's

not too late, even if it's a few days into 2019 or

2019 whatever you want to call it, I think it's always a good idea to take

stock and just see where you are in life and establish some new goals. And I found

this exercise really really powerful. The loveliest thing about it was looking

back over the year and seeing all of the wonderful things that have gone well and

what I did was in the box about what went well to remind myself of everything

that's happened this year I went through my phone and went from January until now

and looked at all the wonderful things that have happened and it just reminded

me of all the brilliance and fantasticness in my life that I can be

so grateful for and all of those precious moments. And then you fill in

the box for what didn't work and what were some of the failures of the year

and that's not a reason to beat yourself up, it's a reason to notice

what's not quite been going so well for you this this past year and then it

allows you to just realise that and and then set some new goals for the new

year that will help you to get back on track. So in my 'what didn't go so well'

boxes I've noticed that I've let a couple of positive healthy daily habits

slip and this is daily meditation and exercise. And well the exercise one was

on purpose because when starting bright line eating which I did over the

summer, you are advised to stop exercising because that shouldn't be the

focus when you're doing Bright Line Eating but now that I've got

Bright Line Eating all sorted and I feel absolutely solid in my bright line

eating programme it's time for me to add yoga back in because yoga is amazing and

it makes me feel so good and if you've ever practiced yoga too you'll probably

feel the same way. So my desire is to add yoga back into my life on a daily basis -

doesn't have to be an hour and a half practice it can just be ten minutes

that's probably what it's going to end up being since I'm a mum. Also meditation

I am a transcendental meditator but I have let it slip this last year because

of mum life I have to admit. I've been doing a lot of mindfulness practice and

short meditations but I would like to reinstate my daily long meditation and

that is what I'm going to do. Another thing that I've let slip is my music and

I have felt that my identity as a violinist has been sort of withering

away with mum life. Another thing I've noticed is that my brain has been

withering because of mum life again -same old thing - I love my baby and I love

being a mum but it has meant that I've had less time to read books and learn

new things and it's just been an intense year of mumming and bringing up a tiny

little baby. So those are some of the things that I've noticed have been

happening just those daily health practices that have slipped and also

losing parts of my identity that were very strong before becoming a mum. So

it's just been really helpful not to kind of beat myself up about what I

haven't been doing right but actually to notice everything that has been going

right and you'll see that the column about what's been going right is much

much longer than the failure or the 4what hasn't been going so right4 column

but it's just been helpful for me to realise what I could put back into my

life that would make me even happier. So here are my SMART goals - my first one is

a daily meditation and I plan to re-engage with my transcendental

meditators in Paris and that will just help me to have that connection and just

do it, set my alarm clock earlier and just get up and do it, because I've found

that when I tell myself I'm going to meditate later in the day if it doesn't happen

in the morning it never really happens. I think meditation is one of those things

that's best done just when you've rolled out of bed in the morning.

The other thing is to do a daily yoga practice I'm just going to aim to do 10

minutes a day and if it goes longer then that's great but if it doesn't then so

be it 10 minutes is already fantastic as a check-in because anything more is

going to be difficult for me to fit into my day. One of the letters in the acronym

SMART goals is 'achievable' so I don't want to tell myself I'm going to do 40

minutes of exercise every morning because I know that that's not going to

happen with looking after my little baby. And my next one is to read books, and I

decided to start a challenge with myself - I've decided to read a book a week so

what I'm going to do is I've already got a big stack of books that I've not

finished on my bedside table and in various places scattered around the

house, so I'm going to read one a week and I'm going to make myself a chart

where I stick it up on the wall and I've got a little block for each

week, and I can write in each week what book I've read, so that makes me

accountable because I don't want to see a hole in my chart. Another goal is to

play 25 minutes of violin a day and the 25 minutes thing comes from the pomodoro

technique which Ann and I are fans of - setting a timer on your phone for 25

minutes, and when it goes off you're done. And I just think that the 25 minute mark

is achievable. I will probably do more than that a lot of days because of

gigging and practising for concerts and things, but my bare minimum is going to

be 25 minutes and I think that would be really effective -

it's really a psychological thing of re- instilling my identity as a violinist. So

that's just a quick rundown of what I've established through doing this End of

Year review practice and it's been really lovely and powerful,

because it's the 31st of December today, I woke up this morning feeling a little

bit discombobulated like - ah man it's the end of the year already - and feeling kind

of like stressed and just bleh about the whole thing, but by doing the exercise, by

taking stock, by looking through all of my photos from the last

year and just reliving some of those joyous moments and writing them down and

being really actively grateful for them and then just noticing some of the

patterns that are not working so well in my life and stopping them in their

tracks with some positive daily practices every day that I'm going to do

in 2019. And it's really good actually to share them with you here because I'm

accountable to them now aren't I? So I encourage you to share your SMART goals

in the comments below and be accountable to them, and really do go and download

way to just put yourself back on track and realise what it is that you

really want in life, and establishing those daily rituals and habits that are

easy to do and easy not to do, but when you have goals in mind and SMART goals

and you've set timers for yourself and you've set check-ins throughout the year,

then you're accountable to them and you make things happen for yourself, and it's

so positive, it puts you in such a good mood and puts a spring in your step to

know that you're being really proactive in becoming the person that you want to

be and just looking after yourself. One thing that we really swear by on Veggie

of getting you into that positive, proactive, energised state of mind every

day that is going to help you achieve your goals and make good progress in

I had a classical background as I studied for 15 years in music schools and conservatoire.

Then I had an encounter that made me discover baroque music, with teacher Claire Giardelli,

3 months before a competition I was working on and it was love at first sight with the instrument.

I knew very little baroque music,

and I fell in love with the repertoire, the sound, the gut strings…

And I have been palying only baroque music for the last 5-6 years.

It was a real revolution in my life as a musician.

To me it is first a friendly atmosphere, a group of friend playing together.

As an instrumentalist, it allows to let go and to suggest different ideas.

Also, what I like about this ensemble

are the cultural links made between baroque repertoire and other cultures or periods,

such as the production in China or other promising projects.

It has a strong echoe for me as when I decided to follow the path of baroque music

I could also have decided to do jazz music.

so being able to join different worlds is amazing.

My Cafe Iceberg Style - Duration: 7:16.

hey everyone I'm Ola, and today we are going to play My Cafe: recipes and

stories. In this video I'm going to show you something beautiful and nice, I think

we have missed it last year, this is actually the Iceberg style so let's go!

well and here we are in our cafe, and though we still have those Christmas

and New Year decorations, the holidays are almost over, and now we are ready to

redecorate our cafe, and to find some new ways to decorate it. This is why I'm

heading to Northern Lights iceberg style, which is going to be, well, actually an

expensive one, but I can't wait to see how it's going to look like. it's fully

available already at level 30, actually one of our tasks this year is to

rebalance the tips, however even now I'm interested in how profitable this style

can be. So let's actually start. I have removed everything except the

snowmen, and maybe some decorations, we'll see about that...

and also the Nutcracker, but you know, I also need to remove the windows. so let's

start from the iceberg flooring - it is white and grey. We have the iceberg

wallpaper - it has the empty wall here, looking very nice. We have a beautiful

decorated wall on the left, and I don't really want to make it crumped, however,

there is also a lot to move to the other wall and, I want to leave some

space for the windows, so I'm gonna leave it like that. you may want to make this

wall absolutely empty, because it's very beautiful. let's move on to the windows

and I really want to make them on that wall, standing really close one to

another. you know I want to make a glass wall where at least the customers are

seating, the only thing is that I want to move the bar counters a little bit

closer, a little bit to the right here. but we'll see about that.

I really like it that it is all made of snow, and actually the snowmen fit

greatly here. I will leave them here. as for the iceberg stands, they're very

expensive, and if you want to install all 40 of them you will have to spend

39 million to do it, when you have a lot of coins. however I will just

proceed doing that, and will come back to you when I'm ready to show you all

the stands, guys. I finished that and now I realize how good the freezers actually

look here, and they don't stand out from all the furniture, and equipment. let's

replace our topping shelves, because those look really heavy here. well I

think it's much neater now, and I also want to move the TV

on the other wall, and to free some space on the main wall. now it looks much

better. and now let's probably proceed to the

iceberg bar counters - they're very much alike with the stands, however a little

bit wider, and it has a bluish color here. and now we want to install the chairs,

actually seven of them, as well. they're very minimalistic and I hope it is not

cold to sit on them. and now let's move the bar counters a little bit closer to

the windows. well now I like it a little better now with the Nutcracker and

ballerina it looks as if they are watching a show. let's move on to the

tables. we have iceberg tables for 4, and iceberg tables for two.

they are actually quite expensive, but let's start from tables for two, I guess. we

have also removed the centerpieces because the tables already have a nice

pattern on the tabletops, and they don't need anything else. it starts to look

much better and better now! but still we have some spots that I want to fix right

now. let's replace some tables for four. they are very expensive, guys, take a look

at them! but they also look really nice they don't require any centerpieces, at

all. and you probably need to remove that couch, and we definitely replace another

table from here. actually, we have sconces, oh we have a couch, we'll get to it a

little later, let's go to the iceberg menu! well the menu is very futuristic,

and actually starts to remind me of zaha hadid projects, and actually it looks

better than I thought it would look at the center wall. Yeah, we have the iceberg

service table, which I also think needs to be replaced, all right here, let's

probably move it, and I would even make some stands a little closer to the

center, to give more space for the staff. now we have the couch. the couch is

really expensive, it costs almost 10 million coins, and it is really designed

for the Snow Quee,n but let's see how Henry and Donald will feel on it. oh, they

feel alright: yeah, really nice cake, yeah really nice cake! Now everything

started to look very harmonious, what do you think? I want to remove that cactus,

it can stay very minimalistic as I don't really have a lot of rubies for the

exterior, but you can work on it yourself. I will just leave it like that.

so I can work on decorations... so what else is left

there? we have iceberg sconces and I think their place is here on that wall,

and they can hang here like icicles and I think they look.. well, okay, looking fun.

and we also have the iceberg floor lamps, let me take a look at them. we actually

have been missing these floor lamps in the previous update, and they were added

as well, so they're back, and feel free to use them. and also in the center they

look really nice and give you the understanding of how everything can look

like. actually let it be like that, all in all, what I can say? on the whole, this

style is very futuristic, minimalistic, reminds me of different ice bars

scattered all over the world. and well actually it's up to you how you will

take to this interior, for me it looks very beautiful. the final thing is to ask

Fernando about the tips. it gives me just 527,51

5 Life Hacks That Will Make Your Tires Last Twice as Long - Duration: 7:16.

Rev up your engines, today I'm going to give you some life hacks

to make your car's tires last as long as possible, now the first thing to check is crazy as it

might seem is your shock absorbers or struts on your car, go to each corner of the car,

this shouldn't bounce much, as you can see it hardly bounces at all, both front sides

are pretty stiff and so are the back ones you can see, it hardly bounces at all it's

nice and stiff, I got some racing ones on this so it will be a lot stiffer than most

cars, but even on this matrix with stock struts you can see it doesn't bounce much, you can

also pull off the wheels and if you see the rod is all coated with oil dripping down you'll

know the seals are gone and you need new shocks and struts, now this is important for your

tire life for 2 reasons, one as nutty as it sounds, you tires actually absorb a lot of

the shock of the car, when you hit bumps the rubber goes in the air and it absorbs a lot

of the shocks, so if your shocks aren't working right then your tires are going to have to

absorb more of the shock and it's going to wear them out faster,

and the other reason is because the shock absorbers hold the tires in the correct position

while you drive down the road, if your shock absorbers are all worn out, your tires are

going to bounce around too much and guess what, when they bounce around and their not

sitting right, then they'll wear on one edge or the other, so you want to make sure you

got good shocks and struts first, now the next thing to do is to check the suspension

itself, jack the car up, get it so the wheel comes off the ground, then once it's off the

ground grab it at 3 and 9 oclock and pull on the tire, it shouldn't have any play, if

it has play and goes back and forth, often that's a worn tie rod, you'd have to fix that

because if the tie rod is worn the tire is going to wiggle back and forth too much and

it's going to wear out early, then check it and 6 and 12 oclock to see if it's got any

play there, if it's got play there then odds are your

ball joints are worn, and any front end part that's worn that makes the car sit wrong and

then when you hit bumps or corner and make it wobble, it's going to wear your tire out

faster, and of course you want to do this checking on all 4 wheels, and if you find

that it has play the whole way around at any angle that means your wheel bearings are worn

and when that's worn your tire wobbles and it will wear out faster, now the next thing

to do to make your tires last as long as possible is to check the tire pressure, now tire pressure

of course is very important for long life of your tire, you want to have to correct

pressure at all times, and people are always asking me, scotty what pressure should I put

in my tires, well their always rated but if you look on your door there's a suggestion,

and the best thing is kind of in between what they say, if it says 30-35, 32-33 is perfectly

fine, you don't want to go by the maximum tire pressure allowed on the tire because

the more pressure you put in the tire the middle will stick out slightly and the middle

will wear out, and also if you have low pressure then the edges will stick out more and the

middle will sit in and it will wear on the edges, so make sure you check your tire pressure

every so often, these gauges only cost a few bucks and you

can get a decent air compressor to put in your trunk that plugs into the cigarette lighter

for $30-40, don't depend on the stuff at the gas station these days, half the time they

don't work and even when they do work they often give you the wrong pressure, I did that

once when I was on vacation in a rental car, and I put what I thought was 32 psi in it

and it turns out the tire had 52 psi when I went to a store and actually bought a gauge

just to see what it was, because in this self serving age, be ready

to serve yourself, prepare yourself with a little pump in the trunk and a good gauge

that you can just stick in the glove box, and when you do check the tire pressure do

it first thing in the morning when it's cold, because guess what you drive down the road,

touch your tires after you take a trip, the get pretty warm, that increases the pressure

and you get a false reading, you want to do it when the tires are cold

first thing in the morning, another reason you want a good gauge and a pump yourself

is because by the time you drive to a gas station the tires have already heated up and

you'll get a false high reading, now the next thing to do to make your tires

last as long as possible is drive them quite a bit, I know it sounds crazy but if you don't

use they sit and the dry rot, if you got older tires on your car and say their 5,6,7 years

or older and you see a bunch of cracks on them hey it's time for new tires, their not

safe anymore, the do rot when you don't use them, so in the case of if you don't use it

you lose it, that's really true about tires, I remember years ago when my wife had a toyota

cressida, I bought it used but they had all cracks in them even though 90% of the tread

was still there, I measured it with my tread gauge and it still had 90% of the tread but

they were no good anymore because they had rotted, so in the case of tires your better

off using them all the time, don't save them up because if you don't use them much their

going to dry rot anyways and you're going to have to get new tires, with all my tires

on all my cars I end up replacing them and usually the have 60-70% of the tread left

but their all cracking, but here's a warning if you think your going

to stop the cracks, guys will put that tire dressing on to make them look shinny and stuff,

it really doesn't fix your problem at all, because the tread itself, the part your driving

on, that's still going to crack and you can't spray all that stuff on the tread because

if you do that stuff is really slippery and it will make your tires dangerous, I remember

when I was young I was dumb enough to try that one time on a motorcycle, and if you

notice on a motorcycle the tread goes a long way to the side, I got it too far on the side

and when I cornered it started to slide and I almost lost it, and many cars have pretty

wide treads on them these days, you don't want to put that tire dressing on them and

make them slippery, their not going to handle as well or even brake as well if you get some

on the tread itself, so although spraying that stuff on the tires makes them look shinny

and everything, it doesn't make them last longer and it actually makes them slightly

more dangerous if your a fast driver and corner fast a lot, so now you know some hacks to

keep your tires lasting as long as possible, stuff you can do yourself, tires aren't cheap

you want them to last as long as they possibly can and now you know how to do it yourself,

But perhaps your lack of interaction misleads you.

If you're on the left, you might think that conservatives, who are more likely to be religious

and less likely to accept global warming theory, don't understand science.

But you'd be wrong.

A study by Yale Law School Professor Dan Kahn found Tea Partiers actually had the superior

understanding of science!

He confessed, "I fully expected I'd be shown a modest negative correlation between

identifying with the Tea Party and science comprehension.

about moral issues while liberals, especially those self-describing as "very liberal",

were consistently less accurate in predicting how conservatives think about moral issues.

Inside the left-wing bubble, people are protected from opinions and facts that run counter to

the orthodoxy with which they're comfortable.
