Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Noun Phrase 29.The noun phrase today
is man-eater. Okay. Let's take a look at the note. The noun phrase man-eater can
have several meanings. It can also sometimes be found with a hyphen as in
man-eater with a hyphen in between the two words. All right. Let's continue. All right.
this is the first meaning. A man-eater can be an informal name for a cannibal. Well,
of course with humans a cannibal is a person who eats other people. We can use
the word cannibal in other species. If some animal also eats the same kind. But
of course with humans, we use man-eater as a slang name for a cannibal or it's
another name for a cannibal. All right. Let's take a look at number two. A
man-eater can also refer to any animal that is thought to possibly attack or
eat humans. Okay. An example here of course will be shark.
But it could be a tiger , it could be a lion. any ones that are kind of known that, that
in the past they may have done it sometimes. It could be referred to as a
man-eater Okay. Let's look at the third one. A
maneater can also be thought of as a seductive woman. A very sort of sexy
woman. A seductive woman who has many lovers, especially one who just uses a
man like a womanizer will use a women. Remember a womanizer,
That's what you call a man that just kind of uses women. Here you know once he
gets one woman to sleep with him , he'll kind of leave her and just jump to the next
woman. You know from one woman to another woman, to another woman just kind of uses
them, you know, just for his own fun or for his own enjoyment
So if there's a woman like that then she might be referred to as a man-eater. Okay.
Let's go on. Okay. Here's the first example in Western New Guinea, there is a tribe,
Koro Wai that has many man-eaters. Of course, this is in reference to
the cannibals. So this is a cannibalistic tribe. They
have a number of people that will eat other people. So you could refer to them
as man-eater. All right. Let's look at number two.
Sometimes sharks are referred to as man-eaters, especially after all the Jaws
movies. There was a number of Jaws movies and we always see the great white sharks
attacking people. So they are often thought of as a man-eater. Okay. Let's go
on. Number three. The character of Samantha played by actress Kim Cattrall
in the old HBO series of ' Sex and the City 'was a typical example of a man
eater. Yeah. If you ever watched the show, you know, she was very seductive, very
seductive and she enjoyed her relationships with men and, but she kind
of was similar in a way . She kind of used men. Kind of like you know, some men have
the reputation of using women. So she's kind of the opposite of a womanizer. If
we say a man-eater. So she would be a perfect example of that. Anyway, I hope it's

Hunting Pennies - Did We Find A 1926 S? - Duration: 7:21.
after that last great penny box with that 95 DDO we're eager to get into this box
Hey everybody its Rob with Rob Finds Treasure and we've got a penny hunt to
do today first things first went to the coin star
earlier and got a Foreign pretty toasty overall but I'll take it
2002 it's a Euro cent kicking off the box with a find it won't be included as
part of the finds for the box but I'll put it in the wrap-up anyway all right
you can already see I open the box like I typically do when I get my bank boxes
so I know and the crazy thing about this one first ever ender I got in a penny
box now I've got them in Customer wrapped rolls put in a machine wrap box we've
got a dime thinking it's dime time no no no dime dime times tomorrow today's
penny time all right nothing else that I could see in this
box there's a lot of copper as you can't see a lot of 1960s Enders we got one
here here here so that's a good sign as well haven't checked the other side
don't want to do that until we get into the rules so let's stop talking and get
into the rolls off to a slow start we're only on a roll 15 but no wheeties
yet did find a Canadian 1987 put that next to the coin star fine and get back
to the hunt roll 18 it was bound to happen
cutting this roll but wheatie slid down cool toning on the back is it old or new
it's a 42 we'll take it first of the box at least it's in the 40s now let's find more
roll number 24 guys and we finally got another wheat penny I think it's a 44 I
could see it facing me yeah it's a 44 44 filly
at least we got to and they're both from the 40s in their early 40s so maybe
we're gonna work our way to the 30s let's find out roll 29 gonna find our
third wheat penny I lay them out and I see some wheat ears
hopefully it's older looks like it could be another 40s though and instead it's
even newer 53d roll 31 4th wheatie of the Box it's reversed showing so let's get a
reveal here 1939 Philadelphia it is the oldest of the box and it's our first
from the 30s just made it but maybe it's a sign of good things to come rolll
33 I already picked it up and dismissed it because I thought it was a damaged
coin but I saw the back and it's a 42 Philadelphia another one tough shape
pull it aside anyway fifth wheat penny of the Box
roll number 36 guys and I've got an oldie facing me I haven't made out the
date just yet I think it's a 20 something we know it's a wheaty by the
way it looks let's just double check it is I think that's a 26 d let's look at
it under the scope
man I think that's a 26d
it could be an S that could be an S it could be an S right here and I don't
have a 26 s now this is in terrible shape but let me wipe it down a little
bit see if I can get a better conformation that looks like a 26 s from
that angle let me wipe it down and get right back to you
it looks like this part is an S I know you're seeing this dark spot here
because it's cut right here but this if this was a D it wouldn't have this extra
line here and here it would be more complete and this would be filled in I'm
thinking this is a 1926 s but man it also looks like a D so basically we'll
never know for sure we'll never know for sure it's for sure 26 Drs no matter what
I'm hoping it's a 26 s because 26 s is the top 10 lowest vintages it's also one
of the key dates semi key dates so we're hoping another box of pennies
hunted guys normal amount of copper actually a little bit light on the copper we did
find a dime though so we made up some coins there we got 12 2009 s a couple of
Foreigns a 59 a couple of nice nice 1960s some scratches but they're circulated
still look really good we ended up with a whopping six wheat pennies so not too
many but really none of those they're all in terrible shape first of all and
despite soap and water all that did was really just make this look worse in my
opinion I mean it's like it was protected with some gunk and when I
washed it off it did nothing to help revive the date or the mint mark I'm gonna
leave it just like this because in my opinion that's a 26 s it sometimes looks
like a D... nine times out of ten it looks like an S
I am not 100% certain it'll only be a filler but I'd rather
call it an S than a D and toss it aside because I have a few 26 D's of course so
we'll put it in my book in a spot and just know that we're not certain of it
hopefully I'll find an S but if you look at it from this angle you can see
the characteristics of the top circle of the S and the bottom circle with some
opening in the middle and a D wouldn't look like that in my opinion
so we're corner - 26 s if it is a 26 s it's a great find it's a semi key date
and the top 10 lowest mintage just so that's good outside of that kind of a
boring box no errors or varieties not very many Wheaties the ones we found are in
bad shape including the possible key date there semikey date 26 s still we got
a we got to look through boxes like this in order to find the good boxes and I
hope that you had fun doing that with me if you did I appreciate a thumbs up and

Everything we've been working towards is drawing in. 'There are a lot of big games between now and that first World Cup game, but we've had a long-term vision of this World Cup
You want to be in the room.' Hartley caught up with another England captain recently - the former cricket skipper Cook, who retired in a blaze of glory with a century at the Oval a fortnight ago
'I talked to him the other day,' added Hartley. 'Not about retirement, although naturally the conversation did head that way

'I said, "Why would you do that if you've won two World Cups?" He said, "I'm scared that if I stop doing the work, my body will shut down"
So he works incredibly hard to maintain his ability to play. 'Someone like him is a great role model, even though he's only two years older than me
It shows why someone who has won two World Cups is a pretty good all-round bloke
' And while he was inspired by the way the country rallied around the football team at their World Cup this summer, Hartley knows his England team must start winning again
'No-one's going to remember performances, they're going to remember results,' he said
