it's time for a new monthly favorites video, so let's get started!
I'll start by saying that in June I managed to shop in Primark
which is one of those stores where, especially in the Summertime,
I usually find some versatile basic pieces for a very reasonable price.
and that's exactely what happened this time too, infact I bought a few items
that ended up straight among my monthly favorite clothes
let's start with
this off the shoulders black jersey top
as you know I love the off the shoulders look a lot
it has long sleeves, but the fabric is very light and comfortable and also quite
stretchy, it has the perfect length as it's neither too cropped to show your belly
nor too long to crease when you tuck it into skirts or pants
I mainly wear it with my flared skirts
but it would look good also paired with jeans or shorts, if that's your vibe
and it has these cute buttons on the front
I loved this top so much, which I think I paid something like 6 euro,
that I bought it in white too, which is a more Summery color
I've already been wearing them both a whole lot, so I'm really happy.
I'm actually wearing the third favorite item from Primark right now
and it's this body and the color was the first thing that I liked about it
as it's in this orangy red/geranium red/coral, a vibrant shade of red that I particularly enjoy int Summer
the fabric is very similar to the tops I showed earlier. maybe even lighter
it's a body, which is a plus, as it stays in place and it's perfect to pair with
with skirts, jeans or whatever you prefer
and it has these cute bows on the straps
I love it and I've been wearing it a lot too
The last favorite item is a dress that it's not from Primark

I still haven't figured out where the I appears after all these months, that's so sad.
anyway let's get to the dress which comes in this cute tropical print
and by the way tropical prints are totally in right now, just saying
it's again an off the shoulder piece, but it also has some cute puffy sleeves
it's gathered on the front and it has these yellow buttons
with an anchor on them, I don't know if you can see that
and the skirt is flared, just as I like
Collectif is an english brand which, if you love the vintage inspired clothes,
you should definitely check out
because they have some amazing pieces
some of my favorite clothes from the past months all come from them
among which this dress too
Brilliant, that's all for the clothing section, now let's talk about accessories!
I only have one accessory to share, but it's a good one
here it is and maybe you're not impressed
but I've been looking for a bag like this for the past 2 months
This season the round straw bags are quite in
but the majority of them comes in a small size
while I was looking for a bigger one, because I always have a ton of stuff to carry around
which wouldn't fit in small bag
while this one has the perfect size
there's a lot of room inside and it even has a pocket where you can store the items you need to find quickly
such as the phone, the keys ect
it can be worn over the shoulder as I usually do
but it also has these handles that allow to carry it this way, just like Queen Elizabeth would do.
I bought it in & other stories and I think I paid it 59,00 euro
so it's not that cheap, but if you know & other stories you'll be aware that the prices there are slightly higher
if compared with H&M, Stradivarius, Mango, Zara ect
it's available also in blue in case you shouldn't like the classic straw color

just so you know this is not at all a sponsored video, I wish, but it's not
I bought everything with my own money and it's simply products I particularly enjoy
and now let's move to the make up section.
The first product I'd like to talk about is a mix between a foundation and a BB cream
it's Make up Forever Ultra HD perfector
I discovered this product by chance, because I went to Sephora to buy my favorite foundation
which is the Matt Velvet+, or I should say it was my favorite foundation
because Make up Forever decided to discontinue it to my great disappoint
and the shop assistant in Sephora recommended me to try this instead
which is honestly a completely different product
I don't know what she was thinking, but luckly I liked it anyway, even if
I would say that this is the exact opposite
the Matt velvet + offered a great coverage with a matt finish
while this one is quite sheer, it's kind of buildable, so it may reach a medium coverage
and I find it perfect for Summer
when you may not want a full coverage everyday
and you would rather go for a more natural look
so in the week days I've been reaching for this quite a lot
I have the shade n.5 and it looks like this
it comes in a tube without a pump, which is something I don't enjoy that much
as I said it's lightweight, it feels like you don't have nothing on your face
and it evens out the complexion without offering too much coverage though
and it also has an SPF 25 which is great plus in Summer
I suggest you to always go for creams or foundations with SPF in Summer
even if you just need to commute from home to school or to the office
well, school is over right now, but you know what I mean
and my other 2 favorites are both lipsticks
with different formulas and from different brands
let's start with the first one by Laura Mercier, here it is!
I wish I could remember the name of this lipstick
but I don't, anyway it looks like this, with its wand
and the finish is matte
to explain it better I have it on right now
as you can see it has a matte finish and I love the shade
but this it won't be a surprise because it's almost the same color of my top
I love it because even if it has a matte finish it's comfortable to wear
often matte lipsticks tend to dry the lips
this one doesn't, it's like having nothing on
but it does tranfer
I had not tested the transfer yet and I was going to say, look it doesn't transfer
but it actually does, but honestly
it's light on the lips and it lasts quite a lot
a little bit less if you eat or drink, but
if you're carefull it lasts quite a lot.
it's easy to apply and I love the shade, Laura Mercier is a brand I usually enjoy
it's a bit hard to find in Italy
but if you look online you'll see it's available in places like Rinascente or Coin around Italy
you can also buy it online, I used to buy from the U.K., or you can find it more easily in France.
The second lipstick is available in Sephora, finally something easy to get our hands on
and it's by Fenty Beauty, Rhianna's brand
which is now available in Italy too
and among the new products they also released some lipsticks
this time it's a classic lipstick formula
it has a matt finish and it's super long lasting, it really lasts
a long time, even if you eat or drink, it stays on all night
and it fades away evenly without leaving the lips looking weird
it feels nice on the lips and I chose this shade
which I think it's called candy venom, I'm not sure because the label is super tiny
a bright fuscia, which is a shade I particularly enjoy in Summer
and the last product is body make up
I'm talking about Fenty beauty body lava
a body highlighter, I don't know if you can see it under these lights
but I have it on now and I love to apply it
when I wear sleeveless tops because it highlights the skin
you can wear it on your arms, legs, decolleté and it looks like this
I recommend to apply it with a big make up brush
or if you want to splurge Fenty offers the matching brush too
I didn't buy it though
and the packaging has a pump, which allows to get the product without getting too messy
I love the rose gold cap
it looks good on the make up stash
and I recommend it in the Summer to add some light not only to our face, but also to our body
I love it
That's it for the make up section, now let's move to skincare section!
If you've been watching my videos for a while you'll know I love Fresh Beauty
an american brand
which unfortunately is not available in Italy
but if you travel to France you can get the Fresh products in Sephora
and maybe one day it will be available in Sephora Italy too
I tell you this because my first skincare favorite it's by Fresh
and it's a face scrub, the sugar face polish
I love it because it has the perfect texture
it's neither too harsch, nor to subtle, which is something I always say when I talk about scrubs
because in the past I used some scrubs which were too aggressive for my skin
and some others that were too gentle and did nothing
while this one is a bomb
inside it has brown sugar
I don't know if you heard that, I believe that a truck and a motorcycle just drove by
inside it has brown sugar, strawberry seeds, rich in vitamin C
I'm reading otherwise I won't remember anything
and it also has plum and grape seed oil which are
hydrating and nourishing
I like it because it gets rid of all the dead cells, but at the same time it leaves the skin soft and deeply hydrated
2 benefits in one product, which is not bad at all.
and it smells lovely and slightly citrusy
it's hard to explain, anyway I love it and as you can see
it looks like brown sugar, with a perfect texture.
and this was my first June favorite skincare product
the second one is an hybrid because it can be used both as an hydrating serum
and as a make up primer
and it's the bamboo glow by Erborian, a korean brand
I discovered by chance as it was laying next to the cash desk in Sephora
and I was intrigued because I read
dewy effect cream and in Summer I love a dewy finish
it's a skin activator, a 2 in 1 product
that combines hydration with brightness, I'm reading it so I get it right
it has a gel texture
so it's very light and easy to apply
it soaks in quickly and it's perfect to use as a base too
because it makes the skin brighter and it also offers hydration
a lovely product, Bamboo glow by Erborian
I recommend it, if I don't chock right now
muy bien, we talked about a few things, now let's move to nails.
This month I have a favorite nailpolish and it won't be a suprise to see that it's the one I'm wearing right now
can I say wear? Well it's the one I have on my nails
which is basically the same shade of my lipstick and my top, what is it?
it's Essie Too Too Hot
Essie is one of my favorite nailpolish brands
because it offers a shiny finish even after a while you have it on
it lasts a long time
there's no need to touch it up, even if you wash the dishes and do stuff
you don't need to act like a doll
I'm so good at explaining things!
but you know what I mean, it lasts a long time even if you use your hands
and in general I love Essie nailpolishes, even these classic ones
which I often like more than the ones with the twirling bottle
which are the gell effect ones
and so I recommend them!
brilliant, now to the next section : hair!
I wanted to share with you an haircare product I discovered in June
by Ouai
here it is, what is it?
it's the dry shampoo foam, a dry shampoo in foam
I love it and I should say that I use dry shampooes a lot
because I have a very damaged hair and the less I wash it the better it is
hence the dry shampoo use
I saw this product and I was intrigued and by the way I bought it in Milan
when I went there for the Frida Kahlo exhibtion, if you follow me on Instagram you probably know
that I've been there
and I found this product there, I tried it and I loved it
because if compared with the classic spray dry shampooes
it's easier to apply on the roots
which is usually the oilier part
I used it today too
and I don't know if you can see it, but my hair is not super clean
but with this product it doesn't look that bad
so I recommend it, Ouai is a bit hard to find in Italy
I think it's sold on Asos, but not all the products
maybe it's available online, I'll do a research , but anyway
if I'll find the link I'll insert it in my blogpost
and this concludes the hair section, now let's talk about the random favorites
Once again I included in the random section some very different things
the first one is a candle which I've been wanting to feature for the past 2 months
but I kept forgetting, so I'm doing it now
a Jo Malone candle, the dark amber and ginger lily one
it's scent I adore, I love the perfume too, so of course I'm enjoying the candle version
Jo Malone candles are quite expensive
just as any other product from this brand
but they are very intense, which means they fill the space with the choosen fragrance
this is one of my favorites, I'm trying to describe it
but it's quite hard, let's say it's a
sophisticated, elegant fragrance, it's not sweet
which is weird because I love sweet scents
while this is more adult, more sophisticated
it's part of the higher range, the one that comes in dark jars
or at least that's what I understood
and it's black the candle too, just so you know
I love it especially because living in a big open space
sometimes candle scents get lost a bit, while this one really fills the space
and the lid has a purpose, because even without lighting it you can smell it if the lid is not on
just to give you an idea of the intensity
and then I can't conclude a favorites video without mentioning a tv series
I'm still a lot into Netflix, you may have noticed because in the last favorites videos
I always recommended a series and I'll do it again
The series I'd like to recommend is the crown
it's not a new release, I think it has been around for a while
it has 2 seasons available and I don't know why I haven't watched it before
because it's about Queen Elizabeth
I love Britain, especially London, which is my favorite city in the world
and I love the royal family too
so I don't know why I haven't watched it earlier
which was recommended to me by a friend
I watched the 2 seasons and I loved it because it offers a different perspective on Queen Elizabeth
who we are all used to consider a very strict and cold hearted human
and the series shows a more intimate side of her and also narrates
the difficulty of becoming a queen at a very young age
which was quite traumatic, we also get to know better the royal family
and the british history as the series starts right before she became queen
when she gets married with Philip
and ends when she gives birth to her younger son, Andrew
so quite a few years and it's very interesting also from the historic perspective
to be honest I didn't know that era very well
the personalities involved are very fascinating, from Winston Churchill to Jack Kennedy and Jackie O'
If you love historic series and if you love the royal family I recommend it
