Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Noun Phrase 2. Today the noun phrase is dead ringer. Yeah.

Sometimes we can say somebody is a dead ringer for another person. All right. So

let's look at the note here. A dead ringer is a person who looks very similar to another

person. Okay, Let's look at the first example. His wife or his new is almost a dead ringer for his

ex-wife. It's almost a little creepy. Or is a dead ringer.So obviously, this guy after his first wife was gone

he found another woman that looked just like her. Maybe he just really liked that

style or who knows maybe he is still in love with his first wife. I don't know but

anyway his new wife is a dead ringer for his old wife.

That's basically what that means. All right good.

Let's look at the second example here. I remember a few decades ago, I read a

story about a guy who was a dead ringer for George Michael. When he was at the peak of his career. You know, George Michael was still very, very hot. You remember , he used to have all those

videos. I want your sex, and he was really very, very popular. at that time. Many people were crazy about him. many women were crazy about

and I mean nowadays to be honest with you. We know that he was probably bisexual because

we've heard stories that he kind of goes both ways.

But at that time. A lot of women didn't realize it. So but anyway this guy he

even went under the knife. Remember under the knife means to have an operation. To

have a few plastic surgery operations to look exactly like him. He used to use his

appearance to deceive women. To trick women and get them to sleep with him, Because he

was a dead ringer for the movie star. Ok good. That's actually a son a true story. Okay.

Hi, welcome to Becoming a Better You by Skeed. This is another Vlog. Today's Vlog

we are going to discuss a very interesting topic. Before we start

discussing this topic I just want to let you know this is the first in a series

of little Vlogs that I'm going to do... because we're going to start talking

about.... I've been talking about previously, building intuition for empaths

etc and now I want to start doing a little miniseries for not just them but

everybody else to help them open their consciousness, to understand what

consciousness is, to build these connections. Currently in the world we're

living in at the moment, we have reached a level of fear-mongering on the

television, on the media, whether it's social media, whether it's regular media and

the fears everywhere. People in the street... their first reaction is act with

fear.... act with prejudice, rather than be nice to people and it's only

accelerating. Yet I know that at the same time there is a huge group of us, just in

the background quietly. Waiting to say enough is enough and so this little series

is dedicated to you guys. This first video,

we're going to talk about as I said opening our conscious awareness.

I'm going to do this, instead of one long video I'm going to be releasing over...

everyday a little bit more information. Why? So each day you can practice what's in

each video just practice it for a day. You might wish to practice it for longer

than a day before you go on to the next one...

but practice it. It's very simple, we just have to bring something to our attention,

that's it. These exercises within these videos are so powerful if you just bring

them to your attention you can have a very dynamic shift. You will become a

better human being... and then

along with these... I'm going to put these in their own playlist.... along with the

same playlist a building intuition and building and empath skills because it's

also related to that. So what is this first detail that I'm talking about? Well

the first detail is simply just to realize behind the scenes. For some

people, it's right there, it's always been there and just realize it's there. It's

realizing there's more to life, there's more to humanity. Just realize it's there...

Bring it to your awareness for today, for the rest of the day, until you watch the

next video. Just be aware that it's there and be aware that if

enough of us do this we can start to combat

this fear-mongering, fight, suing legally attitude...

This isn't humanity, this is negativity, this is fear.

Putting the fault, the guilt on someone else. Instead of being able to accept

your own fault, your own mistakes. Take charge of what you do. Take the fault of

it... if you make a mistake... because if you do that, you retain the

power to change it... So for today just be aware... somewhere in the back of your mind...

for some people it's going to be further back than others and for other people are

going to be right there... and if you've already started doing the meditations

and the building the intuition... If you are very intuitive... If you are an empath

then you're even closer. So just for today...

The scandal surrounding the anti-Trump bias in the FBI continues to mushroom.

Every day produces new headlines about how the Bureau's leadership plotted against

President Trump.

But now Attorney General Jeff Sessions has turned the tables with this shocking move.

The FBI informed Congress that they did not maintain text messages sent by former Deputy

Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok and Lisa Page – the agent he was having

an affair with – from December 2016 until May 17, 2017.

This bombshell stunned Americans.

To many Trump supporters, it amounted to a modern day version of Nixon's missing 18

and-a-half minutes of Watergate tapes.

Attorney General Sessions was not going to let that slide.

He announced that the Department of Justice would investigate this matter.

So now it's the FBI's turn under the microscope.

The Hill reports:

" ATTORNEY GENERAL JEFF SESSIONS ON MONDAY ANNOUNCED THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WILL INVESTIGATE

MISSING TEXT MESSAGES SENT BETWEEN TWO FBI AGENTS CRITICAL OF PRESIDENT TRUMP, JOINING

THE CHORUS OF REPUBLICAN LAWMAKERS WHO ARE EAGER TO RECOVER THE EXCHANGE.

GOP OFFICIALS HAVE SEIZED ON THE MESSAGES AS EVIDENCE OF FBI BIAS AGAINST TRUMP IN THE

PROBES INTO RUSSIAN ELECTION MEDDLING AND HILLARY CLINTON'S USE OF A PRIVATE EMAIL

SERVER AS SECRETARY OF STATE.

"WE WILL LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED TO CONFIRM WITH CERTAINTY WHY THESE TEXT MESSAGES ARE

NOT NOW AVAILABLE TO BE PRODUCED AND WILL USE EVERY TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE TO DETERMINE

WHETHER THE MISSING MESSAGES ARE RECOVERABLE FROM ANOTHER SOURCE," SESSIONS SAID IN A

STATEMENT.

"I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE INSPECTOR GENERAL AND A REVIEW IS ALREADY UNDERWAY TO ASCERTAIN

WHAT OCCURRED AND TO DETERMINE IF THESE RECORDS CAN BE RECOVERED IN ANY OTHER WAY.

IF ANY WRONGDOING WERE TO BE FOUND TO HAVE CAUSED THIS GAP, APPROPRIATE LEGAL DISCIPLINARY

ACTION MEASURES WILL BE TAKEN," HE CONTINUED."

The text messages that have been released to Congress paint a dark picture.

They refer to the Russia investigation as "an insurance policy" and discuss a "secret

society" within the FBI.

House Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy was joined by Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes

and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte in firing off a statement that declared

that the missing messages – as well as the anti-Trump sentiments expressed in the ones

that were turned over – called into question the ability of FBI officials to fairly conduct

the Russia investigation.

Will the investigation Sessions announced root out the extent of the anti-Trump conspiracy

at the FBI?

 The message has been retweeted almost 18,000 times, and liked more than 34,000 times at the time of writing

 It claims motorcycle boss Matthew S Levatich had said: "Our decision to move some of our operations is 100% based on President Trumps [sic] tariffs

 "Mr. Trump knows nothing about economics and even less about trade. The man is a moron

"  And it has been picked up by a string of celebrities and anti-Trump groups, who spread it to hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers

 Among the well known people to have repeated the quote are author Stephen King (4

8 million followers), actor Ron Perlman (700,000 followers) and Amy Holden Jones, screenwriter of Beethoven and Indecent Proposal (16,000 followers)

The quote is entirely fake  On Tuesday threatened Harley-Davidson Inc with unspecified higher taxes over the motorcycle maker's decision to move some production out of the United States to its international facilities in response to EU motorcycle tariffs

 Since then, Mr Levatich has become a target for Donald Trump's fans online  The fake quote appears to have originated by a Twitter account under the name of Judy Tinselman, who claims to be a "Political Analyist" working in Washington DC

 But prior to tweeting the inflammatory quote, the account had just one follower

It now has almost 500.  A spokesman for Harley Davidson told the Mirror: "That tweet is completely fake

"  Mr Levatich has not spoken publicly about the move, nor commented on the President's tweets  The account went on to post a quote it claims was from President Trump and reported by Politico: "If Harley Davidson moves part of their production from Kansas City to Thailand, I will tax them into bankruptcy big time

"  While President Trump has used his Twitter account to threaten the motorcycle manufacturer with heavy taxes, the above quote is fake

welcome back we have been sent a new product by Nonna

you might remember previously that we tested the Nonna car charger and vehicle

locator a couple years ago well they thought we might like to try out the

wireless induction charter now wireless charging really didn't take off a whole

lot until Apple just released the iPhone 8 8 plus and 10 which now finally

feature inductive charging and inductive fast charging or at least what Apple

considers fast charging the rest of the world doesn't quaint but I kind of

solidified the Qi or Qi wireless inductive charging standard as pretty

much the standard of choice now so we have a to coil inductive fast charger

and this will this will this is capable of charging at some pretty decent speeds

15 watts although your Apple products are gonna be limited to 7.5 and that's

after firmware or iOS 1.11 point to update now 2 coils how it works

is their arm coils inside the charging stand now most chargers are inductive

charges have a single coil which then means you have to line up your phone

pretty much just just right to get it to work because the further the device is

away the less power is getting to the device and we're not talking a whole lot

We present the work of Jean-Francois DAUMONT, very characteristic for the second half of the eighteenth century

"Vue General de la Ville de Venise"

[general view of Venice]. It is copperplate painted with watercolors from around 1780.

The engraving depicts Venice during the period of its power.

The Venetian Republic was a merchant republic,

the longest continuously functioning state with a republican system in history,

because it existed from the eighth century to 1797.

The author of this engraving - Daumont (1740 - 1775) was the publisher of optical views,

posters, fleeting prints and decorative playing cards.

Especially his optical views are worth the memories.

These were prints that were viewed in special cameras (called zograskopami

- that is, optical boxes)

they gave the illusion of a certain three-dimensionality and strengthened perspective.

They were extremely popular in the second half of the 18th century.

A beautiful engraving gives an idea of Venice as a wealthy city connected with overseas trade

and full of charm.

In total, beauty has survived to our times.
