I Fired And Then I Missed - Duration: 0:42.I fired...
and I missed.
So I fired again...
and I missed.
And then I missed again
and then I FIRED...
and then I missed.
And then I fired and then I fired again...
I missed both times.
And then I fired...
and I missed.
This went on for several hours.
And then I fired...
And then I missed.
Then I was out of bullets,
Then I got sad,
Then I had a popsicle,
Then I passed out in the snow.
Then I woke up,
Then I reloaded,
And I FIRED...
and missed.
I missed again,
and then I fired...
and I hit something...
But it wasn't what I was going for so I guess I missed.
I passed out again,
had another popsicle,
I had a dream that I was firing at something,
I missed.
Long Story Short,
missed.

Capturing that shot: Iceland from above with aerial photographer Tommy Clarke - Duration: 4:10.THAT SHOT WITH TOMMY CLARKE
This is a photo from a recent project of mine,
and it's the result of a lot of work and a lot of research.
I'm Tommy Clarke, I'm an aerial photographer.
I'm based in London.
After a while, when you start watching the world from above,
you gain a new perspective on it, in quite a serene way
because no one knows you're there,
you're a few thousand feet up in a helicopter with the door off
just watching the world, so…
My career is going to incredible places
and photographing what I find.
Documenting the colours, the textures,
the shapes that I find around the world.
Often I'm pigeon-holed as an artist or a fine artist in photography
but I grew up on David Attenborough documentaries
and I loved seeing that amazing part of the world.
So, for me to get to these places and photograph what's naturally there,
to not recreate an image in Photoshop.
You don't need to add a million filters
to take a good photo.
You can take something that is eye-catching and beautiful
by just making an effort to get into the right position.
Good morning, we've got a QFA here of 1002,
winds from the south, so we'll face into the wind
and then we'll get some good shots up there.
I've had a Nikon camera since I was 17,
so I've built up a decent arsenal of bodies and lenses.
And I've used one lens for every single shoot I've done
from planes or helicopters.
I use an AF-S VR-NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G lens,
a limited edition white one as well.
I've always used the same lens
through all of the aerial photography I've done,
but I've recently moved onto a D800E.
And the detail that I've got
on the printed images on the wall at the galleries -
I print them six foot by four foot, they're big images.
So it was a really good move for me
and it's a little bit more manageable, size-wise,
with going in my hand luggage the whole time.
I think every photographer has a dream destination in their mind,
somewhere that they'd love to shoot
and for years and years, mine was Iceland.
It was just an area that was so raw and so natural and was so alive.
So, I saved up for a few years, planned it, found the right pilot,
found the right areas with Google Earth and various satellite imagery
and went out and photographed it earlier this year.
In a lot of the work that I've done previously,
there's always a point of scale in the shot.
So, if you've got a salt pond,
there'll be a truck somewhere in the corner,
you can realise how big this image is, or how high I was when I took it.
But I shot this photo over one of the rivers,
just towards the end of its route, towards the sea.
And I realised that there's a colony of seals along the edge of it,
although I initially didn't notice it
until I got back on the computer and looked at it.
They just dot along the edge.
And at that moment, the whole image is given a new perspective
and you realise how high I was in the plane
and the size of the seals, and how wide the river is
and the colours that are in there.
It helps you understand the image, it's the sort of the give-away of it.
I love that in photography.
I haven't included it in all the images,
but in this series there's a couple that I've included,
these little moments where you're like, 'Oh, okay, I got it.'
'I realise how high it is, how big this image is.'
Iceland lived up to every expectation I could ever have imagined.
It was more colourful, more vibrant.
Steam coming out of fields,
waterfalls that you can just park a bus behind.
It's a country that I think I'm slightly addicted to now
and I want to keep going back and documenting for years and years
and seeing how it changes
and how much human impact happens then.
Because in all the photos I've done recently
there's no one involved.
There are no tyre tracks, no footprints, there's nothing.
But, it's going to change over time
and being a part of that, documenting that,
from my viewpoint would be, I think,
a really interesting process to go through.

Chocolate S'mores Mini Pies | Low Calorie Pie Recipe - Duration: 2:35.Hey everybody and welcome to the video.
This is Josh here, and today we're making Chocolate s'mores mini pies.
I've always had a huge sweet tooth, and it can be tough to satisfy those sweet cravings
sometimes, especially when you're dieting and don't have a ton of extra calories to
spare.
These pies only come out to 140 calories each and take about 10 minutes to make.
I really hope you give these a try, be sure to let me know down below if you do and subscribe
if you'd like to see more, I put out new recipes every other Friday.
First off, we're going to prepare our graham cracker crust.
I'm using cinnamon graham crackers, just because any true s'mores aficionado knows
they make the best s'mores, but the traditional or honey flavor will work well too.
Smash the graham crackers with a rolling pin or mallet of some kind, until you get a medium
to fine consistency.
Instead of butter, we're using nonfat plain greek yogurt for our liquid along with a bit
of stevia.
Thoroughly mix everything together until a dough-like consistency has formed and divide
the crust mixture evenly into 4 lined muffin tins and spread it out as evenly as you can.
Next, we're going to make our chocolate pudding.
I say make but this is really a cheater recipe since we're using instant.
Take one packet of instant sugar free pudding along with some unsweetened cashew milk and
whisk them until the powder is gone and the pudding starts to thicken.
Divide the pudding evenly between the graham cracker crusts and let these cool and set
in the fridge for a minimum of 5-10 minutes.
Once cooled, we're going to top the mini-pies with some marshmallows.
It's totally okay if you don't have one to do this, but a quick hit from a kitchen
torch to brown the marshmallows will really elevate the presentation if you're serving
these at a party or event.
These pies are really too good to be true.
Nothing about them feels or tastes like a diet recipe, yet they're a fraction of the
calories from what you'd expect.
They're incredibly rich and chocolatey, and you're sure to impress your friends
or family bring these to your next gathering.
Ingredient amounts and all other info is up on the blog, be sure to check out beardedfatloss.com
for that, but until next time I will talk to you all later.
Have a good one.

These 3 Vitamins Stop Brain Loss And Prevent Alzheimer's Disease - Duration: 3:46.Did you know that after age 70, about 1 in 5 people suffer from some kind of cognitive
problem?
In other words, after an advanced age, many will develop some serious degree of dementia.
One of the most known diseases related to the brain is Alzheimer's, which is characterized
by the loss of mental functions that occur from the loss of neurons.
Although this disease does not have a cure yet, it's believed that the causes of late
development of the disease are a combination of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors.
One of these factors drew a lot of attention from researchers, who discovered a strong
link between homocysteine levels and the onset of the disease.
To give you an idea, one in six Alzheimer's cases had a large amount of homocysteine.
In addition to Alzheimer's, this amino acid has also been linked to the risk of heart
disease.
What exactly is homocysteine?
Homocysteine is an amino acid naturally present in our body.
The concentration of homocysteine present in our body is produced from methionine, an
amino acid that can be found in several foods, especially in products such as red meat, seafood,
dairy products, and eggs.
That is, the compound is not acquired by food, but its levels are directly linked to it.
A small, very promising study showed that vitamin B supplements significantly reduced
homocysteine levels in patients with mild cognitive impairment.
They also decreased the rate of brain atrophy.
After this discovery, you may be wondering if increasing the consumption of B vitamins
might not be the solution to prevent cognitive illnesses like Alzheimer's.
Since the production of homocysteine is due to a process that occurs as a result of our
diet, nutrition is the best way to maintain balanced levels.
To reduce levels of this amino acid, our body needs three vitamins: folate (folic acid),
vitamin B12, and vitamin B6.
In fact, most people consume foods rich in B12 and B6.
The big problem is folate.
One of the best sources of folate are dark green leafy vegetables, which too often aren't
found enough in people's diets today.
It's estimated that 96% of Americans don't ingest the minimum recommended amount of these
vegetables.
A good way to increase folate intake is by consuming vegetables like spinach, turnip,
bok choy, parsley, and lettuce.
Broccoli, cauliflower, and lentils can also be included in the list of foods with good
folate concentrations.
Regular consumption of these foods, such as dark green leafy vegetables, has the ability
to reduce homocysteine levels in the body in a short time.
Vegetarians and vegans who follow vegetable-based diets also need to pay attention because,
although they consume good amounts of folate, they end up being more deficient in vitamin
B12.
A good remedy for this is to take a B12 supplement.
In summary, the balanced intake of folate, vitamin B6, and B12 is of paramount importance
and may be the key to reducing the chances of developing brain diseases in
the future.

WSU 151st Commencement: Make Your Dream Happen - Duration: 6:30."Make your dream happen" for me means taking control, accountability and responsibility for your own education.
I think in order for your dreams to happen, it's a lot of hard work.
As your dreams start to come true, they evolve and you work more and have new dreams.
"Making your dream happen" makes it sound like it's something that ends, and I don't think
a good dream ends -- you should be making your dream keep happening.
My journey to Weber State is obviously an interesting one, considering that this is a commuter campus.
I felt like, to some degree, I commuted here across the country.
So, I did three things at Weber State: I think, first, I'm a graduate student.
Secondly, I am an assistant debate coach, and thirdly, I am an adjunct professor.
The 2013 national debate tournament that was held at Weber State University -- my partner
and I won that tournament.
And so, it's kind of like what really kicked off my professional coaching career.
Weber State Debate is awesome.
The tournament that we host for the college community is called "The Mukai," and it's
known as one of the most hospitable tournaments in the country simply because we put our hearts
and souls on the line to make sure that everybody has a welcoming holistic experience with Weber
to truly try to make their dreams happen, even though they're not registered as a student here.
When I moved to the United States in 2011, just right at the beginning of the semester,
I got hacked and all my files on my computer got encrypted, and I kind of got mad at that
and thought, "I don't want to have this experience again."
And so I went and looked for what major would teach me how to defend from those attacks,
and I started in network management technology.
The whole four years were hard for me because I have a family -- my wife, my daughter that
I have to support -- so I was working full time.
Several of my classes, I was basically falling asleep and I was trying to stay up and learn,
and sometimes I just got my phone and recorded the class,
and while I was working, I could listen to the lessons.
I never thought about graduating from college.
None of my family graduated from college.
My dad and my mom, they just got through elementary school.
I'm just so happy to show my family that things can be done if we put the effort to do it.
I'm a first-generation college student.
I'm the first out of my brothers or my father to even graduate high school.
When I was 16, my dad got in a motorcycle accident.
His accident changed my life dramatically.
He was always my role model growing up.
Just, his interests were my interests.
He owned a gym as well, and so that was my dream, is owning a gym.
But after his accident, he had a traumatic brain injury so they had to take out like
a fist-sized portion of his brain, and so he's changed substantially.
And we have to introduce ourselves every time we see him, but I've convinced him my middle
name is "Good-Looking," so when he does remember, my name's Christopher Good-Looking Martinez to him.
Or if he's especially awake that day, it's Christopher Thinks-He's-Good-Looking Martinez.
I wanted to take care of my mom and my dad the way they took care of me,
and in order to do that, I needed to get a degree and find a good job where I can provide for more than
just my small little family with my wife and daughter.
I'm proud of myself for graduating, but at this time, I've already been planning so much
ahead that this just feels like a stepping-stone.
I just want to keep, keep learning.
Well, I graduated from Weber State with my associate's 25 years ago.
I graduated with my RN, my associates, in 1994.
I had been in school for four years, and I was just like, ready to have a family, so
I ended up having a family, and 25 years later, my daughter talked me into going back to school.
Going to school with my mom has been a very unique experience.
I don't think most people get the opportunity to do that.
Most of the time, it's been a blessing.
It's a little interesting to have your mom know all your homework and exactly when it's due.
Instead of general nags, they're very specific nags, like, "Did you do this exact assignment?"
I don't know very many people that love their job as much as my mom does.
She's been a nurse for 25 years and I've only been a nurse for a year, so I think she has really good insight.
When we have discussions in class, it's interesting to hear her talk like a smart nurse instead of just my mom.
Going to school with my mother-in-law and also my wife, it's really encouraging, and
they've been really supportive.
We can rely on one another whenever we need support or anything like that, so it's been good.
And oftentimes, they'll come over for Sunday dinner and we'll study.
I'm grateful for her for making me do this, 'cause I probably wouldn't have, even though
it's something that I wanted to do, without her pushing me and saying, "Let's go!"
This is attainable for anyone.
If I can come back after 25 years and do it, anyone can do it.
And if it's something that you really desire and you want to do, go for it.
I am grateful to Weber State for giving me that nursing degree so that I can be doing something that I love.
Graduating from Weber -- that really makes my dream come true.
That I have a major, that I have school, I have education, that I can teach my kids.
I know that it is the future of my family -- it's going to be a good future.
Nothing can stop you if you want to do something.
Weber State is here, it's close to where I needed to be and it did help me achieve the things I needed to.
Everything was right here.
Weber State has been integral in making my dream happen for me by essentially providing
a space in which I can be myself, pursue the type of education that I deem fit for myself,
as well as encourage other students to join me in that particular journey.

Samsung Galaxy S8 vs S9; worth the upgrade in 2018? | DHRME #41 - Duration: 3:26.does the shiny new Samsung Galaxy S9 render last year's S8 series obsolete?
or does it just make it that much more attractive? that is coming right up!
the thing is that the S8 and the S8 plus are still really good phones and they
can be had for next to nothing these days, as the links below will show you.
the design is striking and it's 'notch' trying to copy the iPhone. the screen is
gorgeous and the camera is still capable, if you like Samsung's signature over
saturation and aggressiveness. and the iris scanner works just fine with my
beautiful eyes in daily use. we've said before how happy we are with where
Samsung software layer is going. it's a lot less bloated than it used to be even
though it's not as snappy as the LG skin for example. Samsung phones also tend to
have a decent resale value and are on top of the Android pile along with the
Google pixel line. something to keep in mind when buying an older phone. But Its
Extras Bother You right? Bixby isn't everyone's favorite software assistant
and the placement of the fingerprint scanner seemed like an afterthought. and
most importantly, although there is an Oreo update out there, there's no
telling that you'll get many more in the future.
you see, Samsung is in the business of selling phones, they don't make a cut off
every app sold on the Play Store like Google does. neither do they have a
really strong hardware ecosystem like Apple does. so they really want you to
buy the next big thing, I mean the next is now, I mean rethink what unbox ..
well you get the picture. the biggest upgrades in the S9 are a
more accurate display with better brightness, a faster processor and the
improved location of the fingerprint sensor. and although the S9 looks great
it ain't very different from the S8, hey that rhymed. the camera claims to be
better with a dual aperture mode and a super slow motion, but so far there has

In summary, the balanced intake of folate, vitamin B6, and B12 is of paramount importance
and may be the key to reducing the chances of developing brain diseases in
the future.

Stars Who Fired Back At Their Interviewer On Live TV - Duration: 10:18.Interviewing celebrities isn't always easy, for the interviewer or the stars themselves.
It can be tricky to come up with questions that an actor or musician hasn't already answered
countless times before, and sometimes out-of-the-box inquiries about movies, television, and music
can get everyone involved into trouble, too.
Female celebrities often are asked about their outfits and their bodies, and all stars often
fall victim to personal questions about their private lives or dark pasts that they've tried
to bury or move beyond.
Whether it's rude questions about a celebrity's personal life or just poor manners, these
stars all made it quite clear when they'd had enough — and they let their interviewers
know it in a big way.
From slight to fight
When Larry King interviewed Jerry Seinfeld in 2007, the legendary talk show host did
ask a pretty dopey question about the way that Seinfeld's hit comedy series came to
an end.
"180 episodes."
"You gave it up right?"
"I did, sir."
"They didn't cancel you.
You cancelled them."
But Seinfeld's reaction may have been bit over the top and rude, all things considered.
First, he acted incredulous that King could even ask such a question.
"You're not aware of this?"
Then, he began laying into King, questioning his professionalism and preparedness.
"You think I got canceled?
Are you under the impression that I got canceled?"
"Have I hurt you?
Have I hurt you, Jerry?"
"I thought that was pretty well-documented.
Is this real CNN?"
If that wasn't awkward enough, Seinfeld then went on to boast about his pop culture relevance
and boost his own ego in the process.
"I went off the air, I was the No. 1 show on television, Larry!
Do you know who I am?"
"Seventy-five million viewers last episode!"
After that, King tried to calm Seinfeld down, but the funny man had no humor about the host's
confusion.
"Well, there's a big difference between being canceled and being No. 1."
To top it all off, even after Larry King apologized for the gaffe, Seinfeld still attacked his
intelligence.
"Can we get a resume in here for me that Larry can go over?"
Perhaps it's appropriate that Seinfeld was promoting his Bee Movie at the time because
those comments sure do sting.
Digging too deep
In Legend, Tom Hardy portrayed bisexual gangster twins Ronnie and Reggie Kay, but while he
was promoting the film at the Toronto International Film Festival, he didn't appreciate the subject
of his own personal preferences coming up.
One reporter contrasted his character Ronnie, who's very open about his sexuality, with
Hardy's real-life persona, which he said is a bit more closed off, and things went right
off the rails.
"Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to the media about their sexuality?"
"What on Earth are you on about?"
The interviewer clarified that he was referring to a previous magazine interview Hardy had
done years prior.
"I don't find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality.
Um, are you asking me about my sexuality?"
When the interviewer then answered in the affirmative, Hardy made it clear that the
subject was not up for discussion.
"Why?"
"Um…"
"Thank you."
Hardy later reflected on that viral moment and reiterated his feeling that the question
was inappropriate, telling The Daily Beast:
"That was a public forum, and for someone to inelegantly ask a question that seemed
designed entirely to provoke a reaction…
It's important destigmatizing sexuality and gender inequality in the workplace, but to
put a man on the spot in a room full of people designed purely for a salacious reaction?
To be quite frank, it's rude."
If the interviewer in question was hoping to make headlines, well, mission accomplished.
Missing the memo
When promoting The Dark Knight Rises, Anne Hathaway wasn't impressed with one particular
interviewer's line of questioning about her preparation for the role of Catwoman, Selina
Kyle.
Extra interviewer Jerry Penacoli asked Hathaway about her physique:
"You are in phenomenal shape."
"Thank you!"
"You're always in great shape, but you had to make sure you were in perfect shape for
this one, didn't you?"
At first, Hathaway played along and offered an answer.
"Eh, it wasn't about being in perfect shape, it was about being able to do the stunts and
the fighting perfectly."
And even when he went on to focus on her form by talking about her leather suit, she answered
in kind.
"It was form-fitting.
I mean, it's not a pair of sweatpants, I wouldn't describe it as that kind of comfortable."
But then he continued to ask about her body, asking her to share her, quote, "feline fitness
regime," Hathaway started to get sick of the subject.
"It's all the boring stuff that no one ever wants to do.
It's just watch what you eat and get yourself to the gym."
When he failed to get the memo that she wanted to move on, she turned it around on him instead.
"Are you trying to lose weight?
What's the deal man, you look great!"
"No, no."
"No, seriously.
We have to talk about this.
What do you want?
Are you trying to fit into a catsuit?"
And with that, the lesson was learned.
Hathaway's physical transformations for a role might be fair game for a question or
two, but clearly the Oscar-winner isn't okay with her figure being the central focus of
a conversation.
Airing dirty laundry
Jerry Penacoli struck out again in an interview with Avengers stars Scarlett Johansson and
Jeremy Renner when he opened the segment by asking Johansson about a certain aspect of
her own form-fitting costume wear for Black Widow.
"Were you able to wear undergarments?"
"You're like, the fifth person who's asked me that today."
"Well, no, because…"
"What is going on?"
Right away, Johansson made it clear she found the question to be both odd and offensive.
"Since when did people start asking each other in interviews about their underwear?"
Rather than just change the subject, however, Penacoli stuck with it.
"Because it is such a skintight…"
But ScarJo didn't even let him finish the sentence before shutting him down.
"I'll leave it up to your imagination."
"Aw, see…"
"Whatever you feel like I should be or should not be wearing under that costume."
Apparently, that dismissal wasn't clear enough, however, so Penacoli kept right on talking
about it.
"Is it inappropriate?"
"To ask someone what kind of underpants they wear?"
"I didn't ask you what kind."
"You asked me if I was wearing any."
For some reason, Jeremy Renner felt the need to step in and help Penacoli out, so Scarlett
caved and answered in earnest.
"You can't wear clothes under it!
It's like a… it's like a wetsuit!"
But she still wasn't okay with the question.
"Was I wearing underwear?
I mean, gosh.
Ask Joss."
When Penacoli then told her that he did ask director Joss Whedon about it, she was even
more disturbed.
"You asked Joss what kind of underwear he wears?"
"No, no!"
"What kind of interview is this?"
Perhaps this incident was enough to earn Penacoli some sensitivity training before his next
actress interview.
Going skin deep
Before she served as a presenter for the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Rashida Jones
walked the red carpet and stopped to talk to TNT's red carpet reporter Danielle Demski
along the way.
The Parks and Recreation star was delighted to talk about her designer gown, but when
the subject of her skin color came up, things got very cringe-worthy, very quickly.
Evidently, Demski didn't know that Jones is the biracial daughter of music legend Quincy
Jones and former model Peggy Lipton, so she asked Jones about how she managed to get her
skin tone to be so tan.
"Wow, just beautiful!"
"You look amazing — gorgeous!
You look like you've just come off an island or something.
You're very tan, very tropical."
Jones was understandably a little baffled at the clueless comment, so she replied simply:
"I mean, you know, I'm ethnic."
Demski apparently did not know that, and her reaction was about as awkward as it could
possibly be.
"It's just being ethnic.
That's what it is!"
Jones shrugged it off and went on with her night, but the headlines that followed were
not kind to her interviewer.
Generalizing the gender issue
During the course of her short-lived daytime talk show, Katie Couric made headlines for
all the wrong reasons while interviewing transgender model Carmen Carrera.
Instead of focusing on her career and ambitions, Couric asked about her genitals.
"Was the whole process painful, physically, for you?"
"Your, your, your... private parts are different now, aren't they?"
Carrera then told her that she'd prefer not to talk about such a personal topic and that
she'd rather talk about work, but Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox stepped in
to school Couric on etiquette.
"I think that the preoccupation with transition with surgery objectifies trans people, and
then we don't really get to deal with the real, lived experiences."
Cox then went on to talk about the realities that often go undiscussed about the transgender
community, including discrimination, violence, and employment concerns they must face on
a regular basis.
"When we focus on transition, we don't actually get to talk about those things."
To her credit, Couric was all ears during Cox's speech and later admitted to feeling
like a quote, "buffoon" for her misdirection, admitting that her line of questioning was
a mistake and a teachable moment for others to learn from.
It's just too bad it took such a painful broadcast to achieve that awareness.
Letting him finish
In 2010, Kanye West appeared on the Today Show to discuss his infamous remarks about
former President George W. Bush's response to Hurricane Katrina.
During a fundraising segment for victim relief, he infamously claimed:
"George Bush doesn't care about black people."
Bush was offended by the comment and later fired back.
"It's not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments of my presidency."
Given the newsworthiness of the response, the subject of his words was certainly fair
game for Matt Lauer's interview with Kanye West, and the rapper was happy to contextualize
his comments.
"In a moment of emotion to peg someone or to call a name or peg someone as a racist
is… it's just not right."
However, when Lauer had producers show West a video of Bush's segment, West grew miffed.
"You know, I didn't need you guys to show me, um, the tape to prompt my emotions or
whatever I'm gonna say."
"Ya'll don't have to do the TV stuff with me.
This is reality."
As if tensions weren't already high enough, the same thing happened again when the subject
of his infamous behavior at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards came up, when he rushed the stage
during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.
While he didn't seem upset that Lauer brought up the incident, he was annoyed that they
played a clip of it while he was speaking.
"Yo, how am I going to talk if you're gonna run the thing in the middle of while I'm talking?"
Lauer instructed his producers to cut the feed, but the conversation couldn't be recovered.
"Please don't let that happen again.
It's, like, ridiculous."
Yep.
That's pretty hard to recover from alright.
