15 E3 2018 Games We Want Announced | Heavy.com
There's never a shortage of games during E3, as every major and minor developer scramble to show off their latest titles.
From chaotic shooters to innovative indie games, E3 2018 is certainly going to offer a diverse selection.
However, out of all the games that could possibly be announced, there are a few we desperately want to see.
When deciding on this list, we focused on games or sequels that have an actual chance of being revealed during this year's E3.
While we would love to see a new Ape Escape, it's highly unlikely Sony will even mention this franchise.
Bummer.
Here are 15 E3 2018 games we want to be announced:.
DOOM 2.
The rebooted version of DOOM took the gaming world by storm thanks to its fast-paced, brutal action.
Supported by a fantastic story and surprisingly complex level editor, DOOM was one of the best FPS titles to release this generation.
Despite the lack of any rumors or leaks regarding a second installment in the rebooted series, we wouldn't be surprised to see DOOM 2 show-up.
Given the last game ended on a fairly big cliffhanger, there is a lot of room to explore the characters and world.
We also know that Bethesda is focusing on new games this E3, so a second DOOM would certainly fit.
There's no doubt that a second DOOM would deliver a fantastic single-player experience, but one has to wonder if the multiplayer will receive a rework.
The online component of DOOM never took off, so developer id Software might solely focus on the campaign.
Borderlands 3.
It's surprising that since Borderlands 2's release in 2012 we haven't had a proper third entry in this franchise.
Up until recently, we haven't heard anything about Borderlands 3 or if it was really in development.
However, this changed when the reveal date – which is rumored to be June 10 – was leaked on Reddit.
This title has been long overdue, as the Borderlands franchise always delivered stellar action, comedy, and gameplay.
With the rise of the battle royale genre, it'd be fantastic to get another quality co-op game to play with friends.
The only real challenge is finding a villain that can top the charismatic and wildly loved Handsome Jack.
Halo 6.
Going into this year's E3, it's clear that Microsoft desperately needs more big console exclusives.
With Sea of Thieves underwhelming and Crackdown 3 virtually forgotten, a new entry in the Halo franchise is just what the Xbox One needs.
While we received Halo Wars 2 last year, it has been nearly three years since we assumed control of Master Chief.
While 343 Studios have been quiet about any details regarding this game, we would be surprised if Halo 6 didn't make an appearance in some capacity.
We don't expect this title to release any time soon, but it would be nice to get a trailer.
Given how big Microsoft's Play Anywhere initiative has been, we'd love nothing more than to try the newest Halo on PC.
Bloodborne 2.
Announced during last year's Game Awards, From Software has a new title curiously dubbed "Shadows Die Twice." The very brief teaser spurred on a ton of theories about what From Software's next game could be.
While it's quite possible that this is a new IP, we are hoping that a sequel to Bloodborne is on the horizon.
Given how successful this title was for Sony it wouldn't be surprising if they moved forward with a follow-up.
However, the teaser video does hint that this could be a new Bloodborne game, which would likely come in the form of a Bloodborne 2.
The item shown has a part of it soaked in blood as if it was using a Blood Gem and the mechanics resemble that of a trick weapon.
While the writing is nothing similar to any symbols shown in Bloodborne, we do know that there are other locations outside of Yharnam.
It's possible that a sequel is set in a location where the blood healing was imported.
We won't know for sure until From Software truly reveals their newest title.
Here's a deeper look at the chances of Bloodborne 2.
The Elder Scrolls 6.
If there's any RPG that players have been waiting for outside of CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077, it's The Elder Scrolls 6.
Developed by Bethesda, many have been wondering when we will get to explore Tamriel again.
Given Skyrim released almost seven years ago, there's no doubt that a new Elder Scrolls game is in the works.
However, Bethesda has been extremely secretive about any details regarding this game.
There's no word if it's coming this year, but we expect to see at least a small teaser trailer for the upcoming title.
Even though it's possible that The Elder Scrolls 6 gets shown off in a more in-depth fashion, this is highly unlikely.
We know that Bethesda is showing off a "healthy number of new games," so there is a chance this RPG closes the show.
The Sims 5.
When it comes to simulation games there isn't a bigger name than The Sims.
Originally introduced in 2000, this series has skyrocketed in popularity.
Despite the dedicated community surrounding this franchise, The Sims 4 was a major let down.
Because of this, there's a lot of room to grow and explore for the fifth entry.
This could include taking the series into the open world genre, adding cars, and a more in-depth parenting mechanic.
Since the last Sims game released in 2014, we expect to see a Sims 5 reveal during E3 and released sometime in early 2019.

Can Exercise Treat Depression? - Duration: 5:07.
[♪ INTRO ]
There are lots of good reasons to exercise, like toning those biceps, the satisfaction
of breaking a sweat, or just actually using that gym membership you got when you made
that resolution.
And exercising is good for your general health and wellness.
It can also make you happier.
That's because working out doesn't just affect your body-fat percentage — it can
also change the way you feel by boosting happy brain chemicals and buffering your response
to stress.
And the effects can be so dramatic that many psychologists think regular exercise can help
treat disorders like anxiety and depression.
Lots of research studies over the past decades have drawn a clear link between exercise and
positive feelings.
And the mood-boosting effects of a single bout of exercise can stick around for up to
24 hours, according to some studies.
Part of why you feel so good after exercise, counterintuitive as it might seem, is because
exercise is stressful.
Technically speaking, exercise is a physical stress on the body, which means it activates
the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal or HPA axis—the part of your nervous system that
controls your body's stress response.
One of the things it does is signal production of the stress hormone cortisol.
Cortisol helps produce the physical changes you associate with stress or exercise, like
elevated heart rate.
But it also contributes to a negative feedback loop that eventually shuts down the HPA axis.
Levels of cortisol in your blood rise initially when you're stressed, but once they reach
a certain level, they signal the HPA axis to relax.
And it takes your body some time to reset everything before cortisol levels can rise
again after that happens.
That means exercise can act as a buffer to other stresses that come shortly after, even
if they're psychological rather than physical.
For example, a 2015 study in the journal Psychoneuroendocrinology had 40 young men do what's called the Montreal
Imaging Stress Task.
Basically, you do math problems while a ticker shows your expected performance on a big screen,
which is not exactly relaxing.
The researchers found that when subjects ran on a treadmill for half an hour beforehand,
they had lower cortisol levels during the test.
But the happy feelings associated with exercise don't just come from handling other stresses
better.
Working out increases your levels of endocannabinoids, the neurotransmitters linked to the so-called
'runner's high.'
They decrease anxiety by binding to cannabinoid receptors in the brain—yes, cannabinoid
like cannabis, because they're same receptors the psychoactive compounds in marijuana interact
with.
Endocannabinoids also help rein in an overactive HPA axis, so that's another way exercise
can make you more resilient to other types of stress.
Working out also ups your levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in the regulation
of mood and emotion.
The harder you work, the more serotonin you produce.
That's especially interesting, because low serotonin is linked to disorders like depression
and anxiety.
In fact, many antidepressant medications work by directly or indirectly increasing levels
of serotonin in your brain.
And another chemical, called brain-derived neurotrophic factor, or BDNF, also goes up
during exercise.
BDNF is like fertilizer for your brain.
It helps neurons grow and form connections with other neurons, and generally improves
brain health.
Researches haven't yet figured the exact link between BDNF and mood, but it might help
by enhancing your neuroplasticity, the flexibility that allows your brain to reorganize when
you learn or experience something.
In depression, neuroplasticity is disrupted, which makes it difficult for the brain to
compensate if important neural circuits become impaired.
So elevating BDNF might help reverse or prevent that.
And, maybe unsurprisingly, antidepressants also tend to increase BDNF levels.
All that said, the similarities between exercise and antidepressants don't mean they're
the same.
The studies that look at the effects of exercise on a molecular level are usually only measuring
things in the short-term — like, right after you hop off the treadmill.
Which doesn't tell you much about how long the boost lasts.
But the research is increasingly showing the long-term benefits of regular exercise, too.
One study, published in 2017, examined the mental health and exercise habits of almost
34,000 Norwegians for more than a decade.
And the researchers found that people who didn't exercise had a 44% greater chance
of developing depression compared to those who exercised 1-2 hours a week.
Other research has found that — at least for mild to moderate depression — exercise
can be just as beneficial as other treatment options.
For example, a 2011 study in the journal Psychosomatic Medicine of over 200 adults diagnosed with
depression found that exercise was just as effective as an antidepressant over a four
month period.
Now, before you go out and swap your Paxil for pilates, it's worth noting that there
were some biases in this study.
For one thing, the subjects were people who responded to an ad about research on treating
depression with exercise, so a lot of them were very pro-exercise in the first place.
The researchers also noticed that some people seemed anti-medication as a treatment.
All of which would have affected the results.
But no matter how exercise compares to other treatment options, research has made it pretty
clear that working out has all kinds of benefits for both your mind and body.
So if you think you might be depressed, definitely see a doctor.
But if you're stressed about a project, or just feeling down in the dumps, getting
a little bit of exercise might help.

The amplifier provides a highly effective audio amplification
of any content connected to this amplifier.
There are several connection configurations with additional equalizers, audio processors
in a common such customizable audio system.
The amplifier is equipped with short-circuit protection in the load and thermal protection.
"Farenheit Q2-320" is the first car device that is on my channel.
Well, all the technical characteristics and dimensions of this amplifier
are presented in this table, please see.
The amplifier is made in a sheet metal housing.
The upper border is made of transparent lilac
plastic, on which is fastened with 4 screws,

To install the amplifier in the car

The amplifier is equipped with two types of inputs:
a high-level input
and a low-level input. These are 2 channels. There is such
a 6-pin connector.
And here also 2 channels are connected: -, + right channel, -, + left channel,
this middle one is not used, and here the signal ground is the lower middle one.
And here are also 2 LEDs - green and red.
Green lights up when power is applied, red indicates protection.
There are several controls on the front panel of the device. For example, here is
the "X-OVER" switch, which allows depending on the connected acoustics,
for example, if we connect a subwoofer,
we switch the switch to the middle position "LP",
and only the low-frequency spectrum of the signal is output to acoustics.
With the help of this crossover regulator "LPF" you can adjust
the transmission frequency from 40 to 300 Hertz.
That is, we add a few mid-range frequencies, we hear musical instruments.
Now we cut them.
And the entire range is the switch in the "FR" position.
If it is necessary to select the middle frequency, then switch the "X-OVER"
to the "HP" position,
and also by means of the regulator it is possible to cut
off the entire frequency, which is lower from 40 to 300 Hertz.

Well, that is, it's a high pass filter - a midrange filter and a low pass filter.

Coastal Now - Highlights from Spring 2018 Farmers Market - Duration: 1:04.
This is the the farmers market hosted by Coastal where we asked people in the local
community to sell some of their amazing products.
Students start getting one of these Game of Earth and they go around to each
table and talk to all the different organizations and get a sticker from
them. And once they have 10 or more stickers then we get them one of these
free t-shirts. So it's a really good way to engage the students with different sustainable organizations.
I like getting information from all the organizations that you have and just
learning about what they do and how they help.
