[ENG SUB] [RECIPE] 🍖 how to make roasted beef rice [이제이레시피/EJ recipe] - Duration: 4:58.

Season the meat with salt and pepper generously

Leave the meat for about 10 mins

Heat up a pan and grease it with some cooking oil and cook the whole meat

Don't cook it too long but a couple of minutes for the both side

When it's all done, cover it thoroughly with a plastic wrap

and put it in a ziplock bag

Put the meat bag in boiling water for about 3 mins

and push down the meat with a lid that is smaller than the pot and turn off the heat

Leave it for 15 to 20 mins

Put out the meat bag and cool it down

When it's cooled down, slice it thinly

On the pan that you cooked the meat, put some soy sauce, cooking wine, and sugar to make a sauce

Make another sauce by mixing mayonnaise, yogurt, and lemon juce

Pour the sauce on the rice

And pile up the sliced meats on top of it

Put the sauce on top of the meats and finish it with an egg yolk

This is the roasted beef rice that I always have when I visit Japan

I was looking at the pictures of it the other day but today I finally made it!

I'll definitely try it if I visit Japan again

The moit roasted beef and the tangy sauce went well together! It's even better with wasabi!

Chord Melody Guitar Lesson on Minor Swing - Duration: 11:53.

Welcome in this video ! I'll show you how to play 3 notes chords (on 3 strings) on the minor swing changes

the 3 main chords are Am, Dm and E7

there's another Youtube video in which I explain how to improvise with 3 strings chords, over a single chord

first thing to know : where to play the chords of Minor Swing on the 3 top strings

here is Am6

for Dm6 : same shapes, 5 half steps above

and for E7 we'll play the diminished chords implying E7b9 : F° or G#°

then back on the Am

when you learn these shapes always know where the associated "basic chord position" is

here are Am, Dm and E7

there's another chord in the Minor Swing changes : Bb (or Bb7 or Bb6)

here is Bb6

first exercise I suggest you to do : playing alone with these shapes, with the chords in the same order as in Minor Swing

this play-long is available on my Youtube channel (4 different versions)

for this first exercise, try to have a nice tone with a firm pressure on the strings

this is not a good tone

this is a much better tone, with no string buzz

this is easy to do for the chords played with the fingertips : with a barré it's a bit harder

on gypsy guitars, strings must be pressed very firmly because they are struk firmly too

let's do this ! Am

let's do another one with more chords and with notes added

everything I play in this video (and in all videos) is transcribed and freely available

now, on the backing track of Minor Swing

it's going to be more difficult : the backing track won't wait for me

if you don't play too many chords and if you anticipate them it will sound nice !

in my impro in did a Bb6 voicing, but to my point of vue it didn't sound so well

a simple Bb voicing will probably sound better

if we want to make it sound more subtle we can vary different things : long and short notes, upbeats, chromaticisms

here are examples of chord chromaticisms (with or without slides)

these variations are quite easy to play !

now I'll improvise using these chromaticisms/upbeats/rhythms variations

(whoops for the end...)

you can really have fun with just these advices ! Spend some time doing that

you may have noticed that having a good tone with chords slides is difficult (it also depends on the guitar)

now, a last advice :

you can play the V chord of every chord, as a passing chord

on Am : Am E7 Am

(the E7 must not last too long)

on Dm : Dm A7 Dm

on E7 : E7 B7 E7 (but there's a better option...)

using F° for E7 and F#° for B7 sounds better

also, the A7 can be played at the 8th measure

and now, a last improvisation using this tip

everything I played wasn't perfect but that's not the idea : what's important is for you to see how to use this advice

force yourself to use the chords you never use ! This will make you improve your playing

there's another video on Youtube, concerning almost the same subject : "Chord melody in Gypsy Jazz in the style of Django (on Bb and Am)"

it's the same idea, but with only 1 chord so it's more subtle harmonically speaking
