Youtube daily report Sep 27 2017

God wants us to be managers

of the body or the temple

that he's given us.

This is what he says in God's Word,

he says,

Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

That puts in perspective

how we want to treat our bodies.

Well, how do you treat temples?

In the last congregation

that I served, shortly before I arrived,

someone actually threw a beer bottle

through one of the beautiful

stained glass windows of the church.

What do you suppose people's reaction

was when when they heard about that?

They were appalled!

They said,

"This is a church! You can't do that to a church!"

And that's a right reaction.

Because that building

is a symbol of God's presence.

And yet,

it's still just a building.

How much more appalling is it

if we defile the temple

where the Holy Spirit says

he dwells?

And now truth be told,

scripture gives us an awful lot of freedom

in making decisions about how we manage

our bodies.

Christians

can disagree

or make different decisions, we'll say,

and they can still be good Christians.

I know some Christians who drink

coffee and soda and some who don't.

I know Christians that

drink beer or wine

and some who don't.

I know some that work out seven times a week,

or two to three times a week,

or one time a week.

Is it wrong to eat a Big Mac?

I kind of like Big Macs.

Everything in moderation, right?

The point is this:

If you remember that your body

is a temple of the Holy Spirit,

then it helps you make those decisions

about how you're going to treat your body.

And Paul gives us the "why."

He says,

"You are not your own.

You were bought at a price."

There we were,

penniless and alone,

destined for the fire of hell,

and an eternity of suffering,

when someone saw us

and took pity on us

and simply put, loved us.

Jesus went to his father

and asked,

"What will it take to buy them?"

And the father said,

"Only the most priceless offering will do."

And so Jesus offered himself on the cross.

You were bought at a price.

That almost sounds like an understatement.

So what is the only thing

we can think to do?

Honor God

with the body he's given you.

We would love for you

to be part of our Time of Grace community.

certainly

He had some real gems

and I say this because it is one

and specific game called Ethnipod

and it is exclusive of Spectrum

and it is also highly regarded in what is

WOS, World of Spectrum.

The game is an example of inspired game

on one hand we

Exolon and Cybernoid

adds his own style.

In this case, for me, the least is the story

simply the game is to moving screens

driving an astronaut

is the goal

It is also quite difficult to

to find some sort of instruction

or at least I have not seen

and it has a rather high difficulty

See, I notice

and some screens on which

You can lose all your lives in a few seconds.

and really this can be a bit annoying ...

Without further ado, let's play .....

and I already notice that the game has two modes

which it is very curious

So first we have, if you press the key

Tomáš Nidetzký: Non-bank credit providers must now be licensed - Duration: 12:07.

A new Consumer Credit Act entered into force at the end of last year.

What is its main objective and what role does the Czech National Bank play in it?

We will discuss this with CNB Board member Tomáš Nidetzký.

Good morning.

Good morning.

So what is the objective of the new Consumer Credit Act?

I personally can see objectives on three levels.

he first objective has been widely publicised – consumer protection.

The new law's motto could be

that borrowers' problems are caused by those who lend money and then want it back.

So that's the first objective – to protect consumers.

For providers, there's more emphasis on checking customer creditworthiness.

For borrowers, there are benefits or processes

allowing customers to repay loans early under certain conditions, penalties are limited, etc.

The second objective – which is not talked about as much – is harmonisation of European legislation.

The Consumer Credit Act transposes two directives:

the Consumer Credit Directive and the Mortgage Credit Directive.

What does that mean for customers and providers?

Customers should have a level playing field in the EU and the European Economic Area

for access to such loans and consumer protection.

That's the harmonisation of conditions.

The third objective of the new legislation

is to create a uniform environment, uniform conditions for all market participants.

In the past, only banks were subject to licensing and subsequent supervision by the CNB.

Then there were non-bank credit providers,

which were subject to no licensing process and no supervision.

Because they provided loans as well,

customers might have felt that they too were supervised by the CNB

and that the CNB guaranteed the quality of such providers.

According to media estimates, almost 60,000 individuals and small firms in the Czech Republic

were making a living from lending before this law took effect.

What is the number now that the CNB is registering providers?

This number was often mentioned in the media when the law was being debated.

It's an accurate sum of inaccurate figures.

The 60,000 non-bank credit providers were obtained by looking at the register of sole proprietors.

The sole proprietors whose registered activities included the provision or intermediation of loans

were added up and a figure of 60,000 was obtained.

Of course, this figure is inaccurate.

First, not every sole proprietor with this registered business activity was a provider;

many were intermediaries.

Second, not all of them were active.

Sure, many sole proprietors listed this activity in their trade licence in case they did it in the future,

but they aren't doing it actively now.

When the law was under preparation, the CNB did its own estimates and calculations.

We calculated that there were about a hundred such providers.

We currently have 108 applications from these providers.

We must distinguish between three types of applicants.

The first are providers, actually non-bank providers, banks in inverted commas,

which genuinely keep loans in their books and bear credit risk.

There are 108 of them at the moment.

Then there are intermediaries – legal entities or individuals

who intermediate loans, independent intermediaries.

We currently have around 400 of them registered.

Those intermediaries are linked to tied intermediaries.

They are the actual individuals who sell credit.

We have 26,000 of them registered.

Then there are accredited entities.

That's another category in the licensing process.

They are the organisations that train and subsequently test intermediaries

using exam questions we prepare, on the basis of an examination system in general.

Based on the results of those examinations,

we grant licences to intermediaries, or the intermediaries enter the register.

This examination is proof of their competence.

If we look at the figures you mentioned, can we now assess the success of the law?

I think it's too soon to say in terms of the impact on customers,

but what we can assess, and what was definitely done right,

was the actual making of the law.

It's said that law-making is very similar to sausage-making – it's better not to know how it's done.

The difference here is that I must praise the communication and cooperation

of the Ministry of Finance, the organisation that prepared the law for the legislative process.

Of course, the CNB was also involved as a standard commenting authority

and as the authority with the biggest interest in ensuring that the law was set up correctly.

Last but not least, we also worked with market representatives, who were also involved.

So that provides a basis for the law to work well.

I'm convinced that the law has been set up well.

Life will no doubt throw up some details that could have been done better,

but I think there'll be no reason to amend the law in the coming 3–5 years.

It is important for it to be digested in practice.

Anyway, I think it's one law that will certainly contribute to market cultivation in the Czech Republic.

So you aren't worried that the law could have the opposite effect

and that some persons or usurers could move into the black market?

The law was also well-designed in that

there was no effort to set it strictly and interfere in the market set-up.

In some countries – Slovakia, for example – there's a limit on the interest rate.

This, of course, can significantly affect the operations of non-bank providers,

as their business model is rather different from that of standard banks.

They work with higher margins and take on greater risk.

Such interference could, of course, lead such entities to hide in the black market.

But that's not the situation here in the Czech Republic,

as we don't restrict the business model of non-bank providers.

On the other hand, the benefit of this law is that it has enabled us to distinguish what the black market is.

Now, any entity that wishes to lend in a trustworthy way goes through a licensing process.

In the past, we couldn't even target the black market.

The CNB is thus the authority that by law should combat illegal consumer credit intermediaries and providers.

Is it already doing so?

I don't think the Czech Republic had the problem of a black market of non-bank providers.

Entering this sector was so easy that there was no reason for it.

There's something else I'd like to say about this:

I don't think the Czech Republic had a systemic black market problem as such either.

We had a number of institutions lending to entities

that for some reason had failed to obtain credit or pass scoring with commercial banks

or were unable to prove their income.

This had no systemic and fundamental impact

on the functioning of the financial system in the Czech Republic.

There were such cases of course,

but there were only a few dozen of them rather than it being a systemic issue.

As for the current situation,

we are now receiving really just a handful of reports from customers

alerting us to possible illegal bank or non-bank credit providers.

How do you check such firms? How are lending conditions regulated?

Can you explain how the CNB monitors this? How much it can intervene?

I don't suppose you expect us to reveal our supervisory methods to you,

but at present it involves gathering customers' complaints and monitoring the public arena,

for example via the internet, where firms offer these loans.

We check whether these entities are licensed and whether they really offer non-bank loans.

Naturally, these entities have no incentive to provide such loans at present thanks to this law,

because if it's found that loans were provided illegally, debtors will pay no interest

and will even get back the interest they've paid in such cases.

Moreover, they can then repay the loan collateral depending on their economic situation.

We also must add a penalty to this, of course.

What are the penalties for failing to comply with these conditions?

The ability naturally depends on the offence.

There are three categories – five, ten and twenty million koruna, plus the highest penalty, licence revocation.

I'd like to emphasise here, though, that it is not the CNB's job to impose penalties.

One of the myths surrounding the CNB is that penalties are our income.

No, we transfer penalties to the state budget.

We have no incentive to impose penalties.

Our goal is to make sure the financial market functions safely and soundly.

Going back to those penalties, they cannot be described in such general terms.

They differ according to the offence and also according to the economic strength of the entity concerned.

The penalty takes that into account.

What does this law and all these changes mean for the consumer?

If I borrow from an entity that is not registered with the CNB,

who can I turn to and what happens next?

You can turn to the CNB or the Financial Arbitrator, whom the CNB works closely with.

However, I'd like to say

that you should never have borrowed from an illegal non-bank provider in the first place.

One reason for creating the law

was to give customers the chance to check out the institutions providing such credit.

You can currently find all the entities licensed in this category on the CNB's website,

so you can easily check whether an entity is licensed.

I would always recommend this to every customer.

If such a situation were to arise,

the law is written to benefit customers.

This means no penalty for you.

On the contrary, the law is framed in such a way

that the penalty and the economic impact discourage non-bank providers of such loans.

So this is certainly good news for consumers.

Thank you for the interview.

I look forward to seeing you again sometime.

Goodbye.

we are in Alexandra park, in Wood green

is one of my favorite parks because from here you can see the city, even if a little bit far

but i'll show you better when we'll on the top

guys did you see the amazing view from here?

this is one of my favorite parks

it's a ten minuts fom my house, very easy

how you can see, it's a oasi

today there is a little bit noisy because is friday and there is a skate park here

and the children are playing

but this place is really quiet

it's getting cold, it's better if i wear a sweatshirt

what is this??? come on, it's deformed

seems a mouse

and this guys was Alexandra park

now we moving in another park, see you there

here we are again, we are in green park

is this one behind me, where is the Buckingham palace

and we going in St. James park

from there we can see the London eye and the Big Ben

yes i know, i have changed outfit

i didn't make this video all in one day

and now we going in Hyde park and kensington gardens

here we are in Hyde park

the most biggest park in the middle of London

now i show you all the exploration of this park

and then we'll go in Kensington gardens

called Italians gardens

i have to be careful at the bicycles

is this park, exactly behind here

in christmas time

from the half of november

to the first of gennuary, there is Winter wonderland

it's a...amusement park

It's a really cool thing, it seems to be in a magical world

is full of lights, foods and attractions

it's really a typical thing, I advise you

it's passed 12am and is time to eat

so i enjoy the view and rest a bit

this was Hyde park with Kensington gardens

now we have to walk about 15/20 minute

and we going in the next park

kyoto garden

but you'll see how is amazing

and welcome in the fourth park of the day

this is my favorite one

but i don't want spoiler nothing

this is one of the smaller, but one of the most beautiful

would you ever tell us that we are in London?

this is something I like this city

even if there is chaos in the center of town, just take a bus or a tube

or walk as well and came in place like this

here we were in Holland park

with the wonderful Kyoto Gardens

this was the fourth park of the day, now we go in the last one

see you in a second

and welcome in the fifth and last park of the day

now we are in Regent's park

to be precise this is primrose hill

and Regent's park is in the opposite side

firts i show you the hill

where you can see all the city of London

and then i will bring you in Regent's park

for the nice things

you have to work hard

the video does not see much but here it is really uphill

and this one was primrose hill

did you see the amazing view?

the bad luck is that almost all the parks are directed where the sun rises, not where it goes

so to watch the dawn I should come here at 6am

and is not so easy

now we go across the street and we'll show you Regent's park

is an elephant standing on the trunk

and this was Regent's park, the last one of the day

i hope you enjoy the video, let me know with a "chin"

GO OVER MY BOOK / MARION ANÉE - Duration: 2:09.

So, I've chosen these 3 photos

because 'the magic' really happened there.

and we depend on that.

There is a certain pressure when we work

everything needs to go perfectly and we do need ' the magic',

and sometimes we don't get it.

Some photo shoots can become quite complicated

because something just doesn't work,

hair, make-up, style...

But these 3 sessions were just perfect!

I think that when you really involve people and

know them well, there's energy, it flows.

Creativity, ideas, it all clicks

and everything goes faster.

That's why we often work with

the same photographers, same stylists.

The desire to work together has to be there.

It should all seem easy, you see.

like Federer when he plays tennis, it looks easy,

but there's so much work behind the scenes.

So, this is Ivan Rafik, a photographer I've been working with for 4 years.

And here, something different but everything he does is beautiful.

The lights, the girls, so beautiful !

Just flawless.

and these are from the first story I did with him for Vogue Russia,

with Anna Schiffel and Kathy Lesant the make-up artist was there too.

I don't like photos that are too processed, too artificial.

That's the spirit, it looks very natural but in fact it's all carefully thought through.

It's always the same thing, a continuity , he has a real universe.

So, how do I work with him? I listen.

He has codes, hair codes, make up codes.

It can get much more difficult when we're working outdoors, though

I love daylight, it always looks more real to me, and it's also more poetic

there are clouds, there's movement.

Here, it's Kate Barry.

She's a photographer I worked with for 18 years.

Sadly she's no longer with us.

And we did Vanessa Paradis.

It was in an artist's studio and sold pretty well, to many magazines.

All in daylight, here again.

She was like a dancer. Her hair was up into a small bun.

Kate had a very different view on photography

she was more into people, than light or image.

It was not really about fashion here.

What Carmelo does and does not need to change with the Thunder - Duration: 6:10.

What Carmelo does and does not need to change with the Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY — Carmelo Anthony laughed. To him, it was the only possible reaction after being asked how he'd feel about coming off the bench with the Thunder.

Anthony has played 976 games, starting each one. He is a 10-time All-Star. He is a former scoring champion.

But Anthony is no longer the biggest star on his team. He no longer is even considered one of the two best players on his team, joining reigning MVP Russell Westbrook and four-time All-Star Paul George.

After being his team's top scoring option for nearly all of his 14 years in the NBA, Anthony faces the challenge of playing alongside two other players accustomed to dominating the ball, with the three Thunder stars having all finished in the top 20 in the league in usage rate last season, and Westbrook setting the league's highest mark in history.

"The only issue we're probably going to face is the chemistry early, of getting to know one another, not trying to make it all happen all in one game, and understand that this is a process, that this is a marathon," Anthony said.

"It's going to take a little time for us to jell … but at the end of the day it's basketball. I didn't want to come here to try and outshine Paul or Russ.

"We're willing to make it work, and I think we're going to make it work.

Even if Anthony's offensive numbers go down, plenty of shots will still go up. He didn't leave New York, and waive his no-trade clause to be a role player. He came to be a major part of a championship contender.

"I don't want to take the load or have to do it scoring 30, 40, 50 points every night, but I score. That's what I do. I can't take that away from me. I do that very well," Anthony said.

"I didn't come here to just be a rebounder. I came here to bring my skill set to this team and fit in.

"For the most part, I just want to do what I do best within the confines of the system and what coach wants, alongside Russ and PG. The Thunder will hope to get Carmelo Anthony more open jump shots.

Coach Billy Donovan confirmed Anthony will start at power forward, where the Thunder expect Anthony will benefit from more open looks than he has ever had in the NBA.

As a stretch-four, Anthony is being looked at to be one of the team's top perimeter threats, having made over 42 percent catch-and-shoot 3-pointers last season.

"You don't score the amount of points he's scored throughout his career if you don't have the ability to be able to figure out how to flow in and out of different kinds of systems and styles,".

Donovan said following the team's first practice on Tuesday, "I saw things today offensively where they're trying to play unselfish, try and do the right thing, and Paul's going in one direction, Carmelo's going in the other, and the ball goes out of bounds.

Intentions are good, but they're going to have to learn to play off each other and communicate.". Anthony has played alongside Westbrook and George, with Team USA, and each believes the experience provides a base from which the new teammates can start.

George, 27, said he believes his youth and versatility may help the 33-year-old former Knick look even better than he has in years past, by taking on tougher defensive matchups.

"[We'll] leave Melo just to do what Melo does best and that's put points on the board and be a matchup problem on the offensive end," George said.

"Take that pressure off him defensively where he doesn't have to exhaust himself chasing smaller guys or defend the primary guys on most nights. We'll work well together.".

The Thunder stars aren't looking at the challenge they've created. They're staring at the solution to the unsatisfying ends to each season.

"We get criticized a lot for being friendly and not being able to do it alone, [but] honestly in this league it's hard to do it alone," George said.

"Russ averaged a triple-double and couldn't get out of the first round. … You need guys of that stature and that level to be able to help and create something special.

It's just that era, where you got to face teams that are gonna have two or three guys that can take over games. … You have to have that to compete in this league.".

For so many years, Anthony has been criticized for doing too much offensively. That much might not change. "I've dealt with it all of my career," Anthony said. "Put a team like this together, the burden gets heavier and heavier.".
