After years of being absent from Hot 97's studios due to his proximity to a 2005 shooting

incident, 50 Cent returned to the radio station's main building this week for an interview with

Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez.

One of the sit-down's most revealing moments came when Ebro asked if 50 had spoken to Floyd

Mayweather since Mayweather's defeat of Conor McGregor.

50 said that that Money Mayweather had indeed been in touch.

But when Rosenberg implied that the two fighters, despite their very public antagonism, actually

really liked each other, Fif' begged to differ.

The rapper also revealed that Mayweather tried

to bet a significant amount of money on himself.

The

G-Unit general also shared his thoughts on everyone's favorite topic, Cardi B's "Bodak

Yellow" hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

He said that her success proves that Love & Hip Hop has gone from what he described

as a "graveyard" to a viable way to make a career—or, more likely than not, more than

one.

But what really brought 50 to the radio station was his new variety show on BET, 50 Central.

He said that the show would feature, in his words, "a lot of cool sketch comedy."

But one thing it would not feature is many jokes about the current president.

His reasoning?

He doesn't want to copy what Saturday Night Live has already done so well.

That doesn't mean Curtis Jackson is shying away from politics, though.

During the interview, he shared his thoughts on Trump—basically that our current Commander-in-Chief

ended up in his job due to a ratings ploy gone wrong.

Michael Owen states his prediction for Atletico Madrid v Chelsea

Michael Owen is tipping Chelsea to endure a tough night against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Premier League title holders will look to extend their winning start to the 2017-18 Champions League campaign in the Spanish capital.

Chelsea were 6-0 winners against Azerbaijan side Qarabag in their European opener at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.

The west London side returned to the competition after Antonio Conte led the Blues to Premier League title glory in his first season in charge.

Chelsea are unbeaten in five games in the Premier League after Alvaro Morata scored a brilliant hat-trick in a 4-0 win against Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium last weekend.

Former Liverpool striker Owen believes there will be little to separate Atletico Madrid and Chelsea in their Champions League fixture on Wednesday night.

"Fascinating to see whether Diego Costa will be in the crowd to witness his clubs past, present and future as Chelsea travel to the newly built Wanda Metropolitano," Owen told BetVictor.

"Costa will return to Atletico Madrid in January subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical.

"The English Champions are 14/5 to cause an upset in the Spanish capital but, I'm expecting a cagey 90 minutes with both sides likely to give little away.

Diego Costa sealed a loan move to Atletico Madrid last week after the controversial striker secured a return to the La Liga outfit following a summer of transfer speculation.

The Spanish side have agreed a £57m transfer fee to make the deal permanent at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Chelsea won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season after finishing seven points clear of Tottenham Hotspur.

Hi, this is Gary, welcome to Kiwis to Pistachio, in this Back to Basic video

We are addressing Dried Black Beans from Washing, Soaking and Cooking in the Instant Pot.

I hope you enjoy it i'm seder brother. Here's some black beans use some scissors

to cut open the bag within their container

You can agitate the water with your fingers see if there's any debris on the top, and there isn't once you've done that

Strain them over the sink

Get all the beans out use fresh water or your newly clean beans in the fresh water

Put a lid on it

Stick in the fridge to soak overnight

See I have the red beans and the black beans soaking overnight in the fridge. These are the black beans

Soaking for 12 hours in the refrigerator or em

And do a screener then rinse them again with good clean water

it is an artform that is a shared experience between the performers and the audience. It

goes) work in food service. This reward is an homage to struggling artists everywhere

and also to my mom from whom I have inherited a love of good food and cooking. For this

reward I will shop, prepare, and serve dinner to 4 people (ie. you, the villain, plus 3

of your minions) and I'll do the dishes.

Super-villains are high-stakes, high-risk

type characters. If I am lucky enough to encounter a Super-Villain donor for this campaign,

I just might be lucky enough to be able to deliver this reward: a personal thank you

at my first Oscar acceptance speech. ;)

SNES Jurassic Park Visitor Center on PC | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 4:56.

Cast your mind back to 1993.

Do you remember the hype which surrounded Jurassic Park?

Because I do, and it was colossal....

Much like a dinosaur.

It was therefore inevitable that a range of games would follow for the consoles of the

time.

The Mega Drive version developed by BlueSky Software and released in August 1993 was a

platformer, as was the Master System release.

Whilst the Ocean developed Nintendo versions took an endearing top down approach, much

like the Amiga iteration.

But the Super Nintendo Version, released in November 1993 stood out in particular for

the first person perspective it adopts when you go inside.

There are various buildings to navigate, with the Visitor Center being one of the first

you encounter.

Within lie all sorts of Jurassic terrors along with some eerie screeching sounds to evoke

an atmosphere of unease.

When I first saw this game reviewed on Bad Influence, I was sold.

I didn't own a Super Nintendo, but this created a huge incentive for me to obtain one.

It was probably the first time I'd witnessed Doom like gameplay on a 16 bit console and

it expanded my mind to the possibilities of these machines, and it was much better than

the Mega CD's point and click version.

I should also mention that the Amiga AGA version has some FPS elements also, but that's a story

for another day.

Clearly I wasn't alone in my excitement however, because thanks to one of my go-to's for news,

indieretronews.com, I came across Visitor Center.

According to it's own page; Visitor Center is a lovingly crafted "cover" of the first

person interiors from Jurassic Park on the SNES.

Although updated for modern play-ability, it captures the spirit and challenge of the

original 1992 game.

So you begin in the middle the Visitor Center.

I'm using the keyboard for control, but you can also use a gamepad, in this currently

beta release.

Developed by a gent called Jeff who goes by the alias Progrium, this release doesn't include

all the features anticipated for the final game such as interacting fully with computer

terminals, like the original or swinging doors, but it has more than enough to excite my nostalgia

gland.

I'm pretty sure I've got one of those.

It's also pretty hard.

You can't go shooting dinosaurs, willy nilly as you'll run out of ammo.

Likewise if you try and cattle prod them into annihilation, you'll end up almost inevitably

toast.

Created in Unity; there are 4 floor layouts within the game, all created on a flat grid,

like games such as Wolfenstein 3D & Rise of the Triad.

Jeff actually built a Unity editor extension that can reproduce the Build engine used in

Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior, and this is how Visitor Center got started.

The in game art work is borrowed from the original SNES incarnation from screenshots,

followed by some photoshop tweaking.

Interestingly the original game distorts in game assets when rendering through uneven

pix-elation.

So Jeff made some changes to accommodate for this.

You can find videos on how he achieved all this by following the link in the description,

along with download links to the game, of course.

For me, developments like this really show how even 24 years later, these games remain

vivid in our minds.

I mean, these older games are also easier to re-create in modern engines, but there

has to be an underlying excitement there that these 8 and 16 bit titles created and continue

to create even today..

Playing this release now fills me with the same incredulity as when I first witnessed

it back in 1993.

Amy Duggal Synthetic Biomaterials HD 720p - Duration: 3:34.

I'm Amy Duggal, and I'm a biochemistry major from California State University

Channel Islands, and this summer I'm working at the Hammond Lab.

My research is based on looking at cellular response as well as cell behavior in presence of the biopolymer.

I'm looking at cell migration as well as cell proliferation, and

cell death – apoptosis – when these cells are treated with the biopolymer.

And I'm doing assays to accomplish those studies.

So in the Hammond Lab, we're focused on developing nanomaterials for a wide range of applications

ranging from treatment of diseases to regenerative medicine. So Amy's project is really

foundational in looking at the interaction of this new polymer that

we've developed in the lab with cells. So we want to characterize exactly how

this polymer interacts with cells so we can develop new biomaterials

based on this polymer.

I'm currently doing the BRDU cell growth assay, and I'm doing this

assay to understand the cell growth

when these cells are treated with PPLG-hyaluronic acid grafts.

And I'm doing this to really understand the cell growth in response

to the biopolymer that has been synthesized by Wade and really

understanding the architecture and the molecular weight of the biopolymers

that would be optimum.

So I'm conducting the scratch test, or the scratch assay,

and scratch assays are crucial in cancer studies

as well as wound healing. Once these cells are scratched, they're washed,

and after washing, they are treated with the biopolymeric treatment.

The biopolymeric treatment can be manipulated

based on the molecular weight.

Once the biopolymeric treatment is added

to the cell culture, we can visualize whether the biopolymer treatment inhibits

or promotes wound healing in these cells.

These are the cells that I have just scratched and

this is part of the scratch assay, and this assay is used

to understand cell migration. We use the microscope to really visualize

and understand cell migration.

So this is the scratch that I just created not too long ago.

We can see other wells as well.

Here's a larger wound created.

Here's another one, and then these cells, they are treated with the treatment,

and then incubated and visualized.

So after 8 to 12 hours of incubation, we can see that the cells

have clearly closed the gap quite a bit and there seems to be cell migration and

wound healing to a certain extent.

This assay is for us to study cell migration and

cell migration is an important phenomenon when you're trying to study

development, maintenance, as well as metastasis and invasion, in cancer cell lines.

Congratulations are in order for Julia Stiles and Preston J. Cook.

The couple have secretly tied the knot, with Julia sharing a photo of their shotgun wedding on Instagram. The pregnant actress, 36, posted a close-up photo of her husbands hand cradling her growing baby bump.

Who doesnt love a shotgun wedding? she mused in her caption. Julia also gave fans a glimpse of her lace wedding dress by Tiffany Rose Maternity, which cost just £199.

Julia and camera assistant Preston announced their engagement in January, following a Christmas Eve proposal. Preston had popped the question while on holiday in Isla Grande, Colombia.

Speaking to People afterwards, Julia said: All around, it was a really wonderful trip. We stayed on an island that was really beautiful and there was a lot of great snorkelling.

The city was really nice too, but because I live in the city the natural scenery was really great..

However, the actress did say that the couple were in no rush to tie the knot. Im not getting a ton of marital advice, she said.

Were really slow on the wedding planning so I havent really been soliciting advice. Someday told me about radical empathy, but Im still trying to figure out what that means. Im trying to figure out what makes it radical..

In June, the Save The Last Dance star delighted fans with the news that she is pregnant with their first child.

Joanna Gaines is thanking Fixer Upper fans after news broke that the upcoming fifth season of the hit HGTV show would be the last one.

The Fixer Upper host, 39, shared a photo of herself and her husband, Chip Gaines, on Instagram Tuesday, a few hours after their final season announcement was made.

"Thank you all for watching, caring and cheering us on these past few years.

We are overwhelmed by your support and your kindness.

You have become a part of our story forever," she wrote in the caption.

"Season 5 of Fixer Upper is scheduled to start airing in November and we really have saved the best for last!0".

The couple revealed the news on their blog Tuesday, which came as a shock to viewers who have followed them on their journey from a small-town construction and decorating duo in Waco, Texas, to international celebrities.

"It is with both sadness and expectation that we share the news that season 5 of Fixer Upper will be our last," they wrote on their blog.

"While we are confident that this is the right choice for us, it has for sure not been an easy one to come to terms with.

Our family has grown up alongside yours, and we have felt you rooting us on from the other side of the screen.

How bittersweet to say goodbye to the very thing that introduced us all in the first place.".

Multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 33, and her NBA boyfriend — whom she has been dating since September 2016 — are expecting a baby together.

The baby will be the first child for Khloé.
