I began thinking, "What could I say as you embark upon your journey?"

Several thoughts came to mind.

Firstly, I suggest that you all relax.

When you see a door of professional opportunity,

slightly cracked open,

take a peek behind it.

It doesn't hurt to look there.

Explore, search, be curious.

And for those moments when you confront things that are daunting,

remember the resilience

that has brought you to where you are in your career so far.

I urge you to never forget

the declaration that you will commit to here today.

We bring the uniqueness of our own personalities.

But being on the same level is far more rewarding personally...

..than adopting some exalted or superior status

as a doctor.

As this, your journey, begins,

never forget about the possibility

that you might also enjoy what I have enjoyed -

the gift of roots;

to belong to this noble profession,

and the gift of wings,

to take your life in presently unimaginable directions.

These are my thoughts for you. Thank you.

hello we just had our picnic that's how it looks like when you don't bring

disposables the only thing we need to take home for the compost is this

everything else is reusable

hey guys it's summer and everybody's enjoying the beach or the riverfront or

the park and yeah there are a few festivals happening and people having

barbecues picnics birthday parties and if you notice there's always a lot of trash

involved and mostly bins are too small for the masses at the weekends they are

quickly overflowing and at the end we have the trash everywhere

birds are picking trash out of the bin or the wind is just carrying it away so

what can we do to make it a little bit more classy rather than trashy this year

if you are invited to a party and you know they have disposables bring your

own reusable stuff your own cup and maybe cutlery maybe even a plate bring

your own reusable straw if you like cocktails if you're planning an own

picnic or barbecue you can put food in reusable container a stainless steel or

reusable plastic container if you still have some in your kitchen you can wrap

sandwiches in cotton cloth or compostable paper or beeswax wrap you can use

glass jars for dressings and salad

yeah try to try to reduce the single-use packaging cups and cutleries and plates

if you're going to Festival this year you could also bring bamboo spoons or

Forks a bamboo plate or a bamboo cup stainless steel might sometimes not be

allowed because of safety reasons so maybe even get a second hand reusable

plastic cup for this kind of things if you are into festivals or parties yeah

let's have fun enjoy summer enjoy the park enjoy the beach and make some happy choices

If, like me, you paint with oil, it is you surely already happened to forget to wash

your brushes at the end of a day.

Are these brushes just good for the trash, or there is way to recover them?

Hi me it's Fanny Duhaime, I'm an artist painter, and today I'm taking you into

my workshop to show you a little trick which will be very convenient for you.

If you paint with oil, it must happen to you sometimes forget to wash your brushes and

to find them with a good layer of dry paint on it and you surely tell yourself

that these brushes are just good to throw and that there is nothing to do with them to recover them.

Well today I'm going to simplify you life by showing you a pretty simple trick

which will allow you to recover those brushes.

Of course the ideal is really wash your brushes at the end of each day

when you finish working.

It helps to keep them really better only when they are recovered.

To demonstrate, I took this brush that I just forgot

to wash.

As you can see there is still a little bit of painting coming out, but it's very exfoliating

and rigid.

At this point, if I just wash it with a normal solvent it will stay small

lumps in the hairs and then my features will not be as beautiful and as accurate

only when it is clean.

So to clean it up, the first step, we take a container and this product, Turpenoid

Natural, I do not know if I say it well, surely not.

It's a really powerful solvent than the traditional solvent that you have.

That's really what will help you give back the original appearance to your brush.

It must be done in an airy place because that it feels really strong.

So I put some in my container, you do not need to put a lot of

way I get it back in another containing when I finished.

What I'm going to do is, I make sure that the hairs of my brush are well soaked.

There, since he just dried me for one night it was not so dry and

so rigid as that.

I would not need to let it soak long time.

We try not to go anywhere to avoid damaging the hair.

So I see that by cleaning it, my brush leaves no more traces of brown, which wants

I always keep a container to wear and what's inside is all

simply vegetable oil.

So I'm just soaking my brush in and with my fingers I come to give

the flattened shape of the brush.

What it does is that the hairs that had tendency to leave to the outside, I

put right back.

It's a little trick that can help extend the life of your brushes because we're going to

to say, it's not too long that our brushes become quite damaged, which means that

can come to throw a lot more often of brushes that we would have to do if we maintained

well the brushes.

So I hope with these little things, it will prolong the life of yours.

 Door de verrassende zege van Mexico tegen Duitsland lijkt er plots een reële kans te zijn dat de Duitsers in de achtste finales al de wei in moeten tegen Brazilië

En dat zou verregaande gevolgen hebben voor de Rode Duivels. Als zij hun groep winnen, zouden zij het bij een eventuele kwartfinale immers moeten opnemen tegen de winnaar van dat titanenduel

Omgekeerd zou een tweede plaats er waarschijnlijk voor zorgen dat de Belgen de echte toplanden ontlopen tot de halve finale

Duitsland Einde 0 - 1 Mexico Verslag Opstellingen Brazilië of Duitsland in de kwartfinale

Dat was het loodzware verdict van de WK-loting begin december vorig jaar voor de Rode Duivels

Daarbij werd ervan uitgegaan dat beide topfavorieten voor het WK allebei hun groep zouden winnen

 Alleen mag die theorie al na de eerste speeldag de vuilbak in. Mexico heeft immers Duitsland verrast en dat zet alles op zijn kop

Gezien de andere ploegen in groep F niet erg sterk zijn (Zweden en Zuid-Korea) lijkt de kans reëel dat de Mexicanen nu de groep zullen winnen

Voor Duitsland. En dat zou verregaande gevolgen hebben voor de rest van de toernooitabel

En voor onze Rode Duivels. Geen topland tot de halve finale Als Brazilië zoals verwacht groep E wint en Duitsland als tweede eindigt in groep F, wil dit zeggen dat beide landen… elkaar al tegenkomen in de achtste finales

Jawel, u leest het goed. Een heruitgave van die legendarische halve finale op het WK 2014 zo vroeg in het toernooi al lijkt plots heel waarschijnlijk

 Maar wat meer is: de winnaar van die wedstrijd zou de kwartfinale spelen tegen de winnaar van het duel tussen de eerste van de groep van de Rode Duivels en de tweede van groep H

Volgt u nog? Het komt hierop neer: als de Rode Duivels hun groep winnen, is de kans reëel dat zij een eventuele kwartfinale spelen tegen de winnaar van het duel Brazilië-Duitsland

 Zo wordt een tweede plaats in de groep van de Belgen plots een pak aantrekkelijker

Akkoord, dan zouden de Rode Duivels hun achtste finale tegen de groepswinnaar van poule H moeten spelen - al doet daar geen echt topland mee

Maar vooral: dan zouden de Rode Duivels geen topland hoeven te treffen tot de halve finale

In de kwartfinale zouden landen als Mexico of Zwitserland dan de zwaarste tegenstander kunnen zijn
