Hi! Today I'm going to talk about a couple of things, actually. First, I'm

going to talk about Kobo. I just won this Kobo in in a drawing, and I was

flabbergasted, because I'm one of these people. I never win anything, right?

And I I was just floored and part of the reason that I'm so happy that I got this

is that I have been a supporter of Kobo ever since I heard about them coming out.

And as a self-published author, Kobo ... I'll just put it this way ... was not initially

embraced by everybody, by other self-published authors. I know this. I

know this, because I saw it with my own eyes, and people were going exclusive

with Amazon. I thought about it and decided against it, and the reason that I

did was that Kobo is the e-reader of choice for indie bookstores, and I wanted

to support indie bookstores. So, I did so by not going exclusive with Amazon and

going wide early. Now, I'll be honest, this was to my financial detriment, and I

don't regret that, though. I do not regret making that decision, because I've always

believed that if you're a real indie author, you should not be beholden to any

one publisher. And, unless you really want to be picked up by Amazon for some

reason, I I wouldn't do it. So, that's just me.

Having said that and having said that I really like this Kobo, I want to

encourage indie authors to go wide, because that's now the thing that people

are encouraging people to do. Now authors are saying go wide, go wide,

and I'd like to say, "Where were you back in 2012?" Okay, no. What I want to say is

that's a great idea, and the reason being if you publish

directly through Nook Press and Kobo Press (Writing Life---it's called Writing

Life) you can take advantage of their free promotions without having to go

exclusively with them, unlike some people.

Need I say who? So, I have always thought it's a good idea to go wide and

I continue to think so, and even more so now that Nook is offering promos for

self-published authors without going exclusively with them. Kobo offers it and

Amazon should. That's all I'll say, and on that note that's really it for

For Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson // After setting the world on fire by dropping a surprise

album with his living legend wife, Beyonce, Jay-Z, a legend in his own right, has provided

another surprise by becoming the new President of Basketball Operations for Puma.

The historic brand has re-launched their basketball line in incredible fashion by inking two potential

top-five picks in DeAndre Ayton and Marvin Bagley.

The two big men have been well regarded as some of the best prospects to enter the NBA

within the past decade and their talents will certainly keep all eyes on Puma during the

brand's re-launch.

Throughout his career, Jay-Z has been regarded as an exceptional businessman and this latest

venture just adds another trophy to his mantle.

For his role with Puma, Hov will oversee the selections to the Puma basketball roster as

well as assist in the art design and overall concept and direction of the brand.

Puma's Global director of brand and Marketing, Adam Petrick, told Complex:

"We've been working with Roc Nation for quite some time.

They've been great partners to us for several years.

We've done many different deals with many different ambassador.

When Puma approached him about this opportunity, JAY-Z felt it "was something he wanted to

be a part of."

Like Adam mentioned, Jay-Z and other members of Roc Nation have worked with Puma in the

past with Hov most recently having a collab to coincide with his 4:44 album and tour.

entry of the category, that we want to be a performance brand, but then also very culturally

focused.

It's clear that we're looking at basketball through the lens of culture, and thinking

Text Shows What Really Happened At Trump's 'Treasonous' Russia Meeting – Dems In

Special counsel Robert Mueller is now in the process of examining a previously undisclosed

meeting between a longtime Donald Trump confidant, Roger Stone and an undisclosed Russian figure

who allegedly tried to sell him dirt on Hillary Clinton.

The Washington Post reported that a meeting between Stone and a man who identified himself

as Henry Greenberg was described in a pair of letters sent Friday to the House Intelligence

Committee.

Stone and Michael Caputo, a Trump campaign aide who arranged the 2016 meeting, did not

disclose the contact in their initial interviews with the committee.

But they now believe the man was an FBI informant trying to set them up in a bid to undermine

Trump's campaign.

Obviously, Greenberg could not immediately be reached for comment, but in a text to the

Washington Post, he denied he was working for the FBI when he met with Stone.

In a text?

Democrats were hoping this last-minute meeting between Stone and this Russian would be the

straw that broke the camel's back, but Stone's text was crystal clear when it confirmed it

was a "waste of time."

They're totally ignoring the facts that he met with them but gave them NOTHING and

"the Russian was also an FBI informant, so it looks like another frame-up just like

with what happened with Carter," Mike Dice said in the comments on his post.

This is one more go at trying to overthrow President Trump.

And since they have nothing it's obvious they are now grasping at straws.

It's time we as taxpayers start demanding this corrupt Mueller investigation stops once

and for all.

They have wasted enough money on this witch hunt and time it ends once and for all.

The only collusion here is when Hillary Clinton sold our uranium to the Kremlin for donations

to the Clinton Foundation!

ABC News reported:

"Roger Stone says he is not concerned that he neglected to tell to congressional investigators

about a meeting he held with a Russian national offering dirt on Hillary Clinton, despite

being asked about foreign contacts, the longtime friend of President Donald Trump told ABC

News.

Stone said Sunday he forgot, and his lawyer has since sent a letter to amend his testimony.

"I just didn't remember.

2016 was a pretty busy year," Stone said.

"I don't think a failure of memory constitutes a perjury."

Stone served as an adviser to Trump's presidential campaign but left amid controversy in 2015.

The contact in May 2016 was between Stone —- a self-described political "dirty trickster"

— Michael Caputo, another former Trump campaign aide, and Henry Greenberg, reportedly a Russian

citizen who claimed to have damaging material on Hillary Clinton, as first reported by The

Washington Post on Sunday.

The new disclosure brought immediate concerns from Democrats overseeing congressional investigations

into allegations of Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign.

"In multiple respects now, the testimony of Roger Stone appears inaccurate or deliberately

misleading," Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence

Committee, said Sunday.

"The truthfulness of many of our witnesses has been difficult to ascertain, which is

why I have urged the committee to make the transcripts available to Special Counsel [Robert]

Mueller for a determination whether any witnesses committed perjury before our committee,"

Schiff added.

"The Majority's unwillingness to do so demonstrates that protecting the President

remains its paramount objective, even when it means shielding witnesses who may have

testified before us untruthfully."

Schiff said he had similar concerns about Caputo's testimony, which he said also omitted

mention of this interaction with a Russian national offering dirt on Clinton, something

Schiff said could not plausibly have escaped his recollection.

Attorneys for both men sent letters dated June 15 to House Intelligence Committee Chairman

Devin Nunes, R-Calif., seeking to revise their prior testimony to the committee to include

reference to the interactions with Greenberg.

Both letters say the men forgot about the interactions, but have since had their memories

refreshed.

Caputo served on the Trump campaign from November 2015 until June 2016 working out of Trump

headquarters in New York.

Greenberg purportedly reached out about setting up a meeting, which Caputo subsequently arranged.

Meeting in Sunny Isle, Florida, for lunch in May 2016, Greenberg reportedly offered

Stone damaging material on Clinton for $2 million — a deal Stone and Caputo say they

declined.

Caputo told ABC News there was no collusion between Russians and the Trump campaign.

"In fact, there's nobody in Trump Tower at that time who has closer connections to

Moscow to the Kremlin than me.

… Nobody ever asked me about Russia.

Nobody ever spoke to me about what you know how Russia might help," Caputo said.

Reached on Sunday, Caputo confirmed investigators asked him about a text message exchange with

Stone about the meeting, the content of which was reported by The Washington Post.

"How crazy is the Russian?"

Caputo wrote, according to the Washington Post.

Stone noted that Greenberg had asked for "big money," and told Caputo the meeting was

a "waste of time," according to The Post.

Caputo and Stone now allege they were set up by the FBI because they said a private

investigation funded by Caputo's legal defense fund identified Greenberg is an FBI informant.

There is no outside evidence to support the claim that Greenberg was working as an FBI

informant when he approached Caputo and Stone.

Calls by ABC News to phone numbers associated with Greenberg were not immediately answered.

Stone says he never told Donald Trump during the campaign about the newly revealed contact

with the Russian national who claimed to have damaging material on Clinton.

"I never discussed the matter with Donald Trump or anyone in his campaign," Stone

told ABC News on Sunday.

"I flatly rejected this proposal as ludicrous and frankly forgot about it."

On Monday, PEOPLE confirmed the rapper was fatally shot at a motorcycle dealership north of Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The shooting was first reported at 3:57 p.m. at a Deerfield Beach motorsports shop, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office

TMZ reported that XXXTentacion was shot outside as he left the dealer. Police dispatch audio obtained by the outlet shows the shooting was reported as a possible drive-by involving multiple gunshots

The last thing XXXTentacion posted on Instagram was on Monday, writing, "planning a charity event for this weekend Florida!" "Rest in peace I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing," Kanye West wrote on Twitter after news of XXXTentacion's death was made public

This is not the first time XXXTentacion has discussed the topic of death on social media

"When I die play fredo at my funeral," he tweeted in February 2014, referencing his friend, rapper Fredo Santana

Four years later, in January, Santana died at the age of 27.

We have two Tabatas for this workout. The first Tabata is bridges and mountain

climbers and the second is plank punches and lunge matrix. A Tabata is eight

rounds of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off. For each Tabata, you'll alternate

between the two movements. For example, you'll start with bridges and work for

20 seconds and you'll rest and transition to mountain climbers for 10

seconds and then you'll do mountain climbers for 20 seconds. That's two

rounds right there out of eight. Each Tabata is four minutes long and between

the tabata, you'll have one minute of rest. I'm going to guide you through each

of the movements and the format so don't worry too much about that. We have FIT

Happy Hour athlete Sandy leading the video today, and as always you can check

out the demo videos before we get started if you need more information or

a refresher on any of the movements.

We're gonna start with bridges in three two one and go!

Before you bridge up make sure your low back is in contact with the ground so

you'll have to do a pelvic tilt. Bridge up only as high as you can

maintain a neutral spine and feel the tension in your butt. We're gonna rest in

three two one and rest for ten seconds. Next up we have mountain climbers in

three two one and up.

You can play around with the pace here -you can either do a quick pace or you can

focus on getting the knee to the elbow.

Three two one and rest. Next up we have bridges again - we're gonna start in three

two one and go!

Nice job! You can drive through your heels and you can hold that position at

the top for a second before coming back down. We're gonna rest in three two one

and rest.

Mountain climbers... Nice job! Do your best to keep the shoulders over the wrists.

And three two one and rest for ten. Nice job - we're halfway there now and

ten seconds of rest and next up we have one minute of rest. We're going to start

our second Tabata in a little over 50 seconds and we're

going to start with plank punches.

Some key points for these plank punches - the purpose of the movement is to

stabilize the spine and activate the deep core muscles, so you want to

maintain a tabletop position avoiding the low back from sagging and

gently retract the navel and engage the butt muscles throughout the movement.

You're going to be on your hands for this movement but you can be either on

your feet or on your knees. We're gonna start up in ten seconds.

Three two one and go!

Be sure that your hands are underneath the shoulders and avoid holding your

breath as you do this. You can exhale with every punch 3 - 2 - 1 and rest for 10.

Next up you have a lunge matrix starting in three two one and go!

You're gonna start with a forward lunge side lunge and reverse lunge and then

you'll switch sides.

The timing is about one matrix on each side for twenty seconds.Three two one

and rest! Next up you have plank punches again - three two one and go!

We've got three rounds of four movements. First is one minute of inchworms - you'll

walk your hands out to a plank position. You can extend into a Cobra if you want -

then walk your feet to your hands and stand up. Then walk the feet back to a

plank - you have an optional Cobra - then walk your hands towards your feet. You'll

do that for the first minute. Next is single arm presses - this will be

a strict press where you'll do each side for 30 seconds each. The final two

movements are two plank variations - the first is plank jacks where you'll

jump or step your feet in and out and the second is plank reach throughs. For

these reach throughs, you can be either in a full plank position or on your knees and

you're looking to reach across the body and through with a rotation. We have FIT

Happy Hour athlete Lauren leading, and as always if you need more information on

any of these movements, refer back to the demo videos before you get started.

We've got inchworms in three two one and go!

The purpose of the movement is to learn how to stabilize the spine and to really

warm up the muscles, so make sure that your hands are right under your

shoulders. When fully extended, take small steps with your feet and make sure your

low back and hips do not sag downwards when fully extended - unless you're doing

the Cobra in which you would extend the hips.

You're trying to keep the legs as straight as possible as you take small

steps.

We've got about 15 seconds left and then we have single arm presses next. We're

gonna switch in three two one and switch to single arm presses. You're

gonna have a single dumbbell - you want to gently retract the navel and brace the

abdominals throughout the movement so avoid overextending the low back and

stabilize the shoulders at the top before coming back down.

We're gonna switch sides and three two one and switch - find that comfortable

angle to press the weight overhead. We don't want to have any shoulder or spine

compensation, so that might mean that you press a little bit forward in front of

your shoulder. Great job - we've got ten seconds left here - three two one and

we're gonna switch to plank jacks. We're gonna be in a full plank position and

you can either jump or step your feet in and out. For all of these plank

variations, we're working on stabilizing the spine and activating those deep core

muscles, so aim for maintaining a tabletop position and avoid the low back

from sagging, but you also don't want the butt up in the air - three two one and

we're gonna switch. We've got reach throughs next - you can

either be in that full plank position still or on your knees. We're really

focusing in on rotation and stabilizing -

you can take your time with this movement and really work on that range

of motion. 3 2 1 and we're gonna transition to inchworms. This is the

beginning of round 2 of 3.

We really want to focus in on getting those tissues warm and moving so don't

worry about the pacing here - you can take your time. Great job you're halfway

through.

We've got single arm presses next in 3 - 2 - 1 and and switch! You can start on

that right side - remember to think of being punched in the stomach while

pressing. That really means keeping the ribcage down and stabilizing the

abdominals. Good - ten seconds left on this side and we're gonna switch in three two

one and switch to the left side. Great work - we're really strengthening the

target areas including the arms and the shoulders and your back and your chest.

Good - ten seconds left here. We've got plank jacks next. We're gonna switch in

three two one and switch.

Remember that you can also step in and out and you can also go on the forearms

if you prefer that plank position. We've got reach throughs next in three two

one and go! Really focus in on the range of motion

and you can be on your knees if you want to.

Heather Locklear has been taken to hospital and is reportedly undergoing a psychiatric evaluation after a desperate emergency call claimed the US actress was threatening to harm herself

Captain Garo Kuredjian of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday that both the sheriff's office and fire department responded to a call of a "medical emergency" at the 4900 block of Summit View Drive

The individual in question was transferred to a hospital for further treatment, Mr Kuredjian said

TMZ, which first broke the story, reported Locklear's mother called the 911 emergency number on Sunday local time, claiming Locklear was acting erratically and threatening self-harm

Dispatch audio obtained by the gossip website revealed that the caller told authorities an "agitated and violent" Locklear was trying to hurt herself, and was looking for a gun to shoot herself, although she did not have access to any weapons

While Kuredjian could not confirm if the caller was a family member, he did say that it was not the patient who placed the call

Locklear, 56, was transferred to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, US media reported

The incident is being ruled as medical, not criminal, and Locklear is currently not being charged on any counts

When contacted by , Locklear's publicist noted that the actress is on hiatus, and had no further information

The incident occurs just four months after the star was arrested for domestic assault and battery on an officer

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in Thousand Oaks, west of Los Angeles, on February 27 in which the victim was a boyfriend of Locklear

Locklear was uncooperative with the deputies and became combative,Mr Kuredjian said at the time

Farrah's attempts to sue her former bosses basically got her laughed out of court,

but that doesn't mean she won't be appearing in front of a judge in the very near future.

Farrah was arrested last week on battery and trespassing charges after she allegedly assaulted

a male staff member at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

She'll probably get off with a slap on the wrist, but she did spend the night in jail,

and footage of Farrah telling a bunch of cops to go f--k themselves probably won't do any

wonders for her image.

Needless to say, life hasn't been terribly kind to Farrah in the months since she caught

the ax from MTV.

And yet, she still maintains that life is better without the burden of reality TV stardom.

Farrah opened up about her time on TMOG in a recent interview -- and she wasn't exactly

overflowing with effusive praise for the show:

"I was thinking what am I doing? for the last two seasons of Teen Mom. Like why am

I here?" she said.

"I felt like they were sabotaging my real life with fake scenes. It was 75 percent fake.

I had them put me in bad situations and I had to sign myself out of them."

Yes, Farrah claims a full three-quarters of what you see on the screen is BS.

And why did she tolerate such a fraudulent representation of her life for so long?

Well, apparently you can chalk it up to a condition known as "newbie syndrome."

"I do not spend my energy on any of that although I did suffer from 'newbie syndrome'

when I was first on the show," Abraham said in this week's interview.

And naturally, she took a little time to throw shade at her co-stars.

"But I learned early on growing up in real life that you might be pretty and talented

and not everybody is as self-confident as you and it creates jealousy and I have had

that working with various co-stars over the years," Abraham said.

We're sure she'll be missed at this year's reunion.

Offiziell bestätigt wurden derartige Berichte bislang nicht. Der Internetseite "TMZ" soll nun die Sterbeurkunde zugespielt worden sein

Angebliche Sterbeurkunde von Avicii enthält keine neuen Informationen zu seinem Tod Das Dokument wurde zwei Tage nach Aviciis Ableben ausgestellt

Es verrät weder etwas zu den Ursachen noch den Begleitumständen seines Todes. Persönliche Angaben wie der Name und das Geburtsdatum sind geschwärzt

Dennoch versichert "TMZ", dass es sich bei der Urkunde wirklich um Aviciis Sterbeurkunde handele

Interessant an dem Dokument ist, dass Avicii als Christ schwedischer Herkunft geführt wird, auf der Sterbeurkunde aber auch ein Verweis auf den islamischen Kalender enthalten ist

Entsprechend des Hijri-Kalenders ist Avicii am 8. April 1439 gestorben. Ist der Musiker also zum Islam konvertiert? Nein, denn diese Datumsangabe ist dem Umstand geschuldet, dass der schwedische DJ im Oman, genauer in der Hauptstadt Maskat, verstorben ist und eine der dortigen Behörden die Sterbeurkunde ausgestellt hat
