Aber ich bin jetzt sehr glücklich dass es zwischen uns so gut funktioniert." Er lernte auch Alessio schon kennen und begleitete die beiden zu einer  Familienfeier

Es scheint also wirklich was Ernstes zu sein.

Infinitive vs. -ING: 4 Tips for Getting Your Verb Form Right - Duration: 5:25.

Hi everyone, this is Abbe from MosaLingua.

Welcome back to our series of English grammar hacks.

In this video I'm going to give you several hacks

for deciding when to use the infinitive form of a verb versus a gerund.

This is one often of the most difficult grammar concepts for English learners,

but today we're going to break it down and make it easy!

First, let's simplify the terms I just used. You're probably familiar with the term infinitive.

This is just the base form of any verb.

Basically this is what you'll look for in a dictionary for example.

Some examples could include "to buy", "to go" and "to watch".

A gerund is simply the -ING form of a word, so "buying", "going" and "watching".

Let's jump into some hacks to help you decide which one to use in different situations

Here's our first hack: the two forms are sometimes interchangeable

You can use either form particularly after emotion verbs

such as like, love, prefer or hate. So you can say "I love to cook" or "I love cooking"

Both forms are correct! Then you have verbs for which only one form is correct.

More often than not, using the incorrect form will change your sentence's meaning or

make it incorrect. This is often the case when you have two verbs in a sentence

and you need to choose the correct form for the second verb.

Let's say your two verbs are "miss" and "go out". Which one is correct?

"I miss going out with my friends"

or "I miss to go out with my friends".

In this case, only the first example is grammatically correct.

Hack n.2: as a general rule, we use the -ing form for verbs that are more abstract:

consider, deny, fancy, feel like and miss. All express abstract concepts

On the other hand, verbs with the two form or the infinitive form,

often are used to express concrete actions: ask, continue, help, decide, offer, plan, want.

Of course there are some exceptions

but don't worry about memorizing long lists now. The more you use them the better you

will get at deciding which one to use. Let me share a couple more hacks to make your life easier

Hack n.3: perhaps the easiest hack to remember is that

the ing form is generally used after a preposition. This is true in about 80% of cases.

Here at MosaLingua, we're all about learning the 20% of grammar

that will help us out in 80% of situations. Ready for some examples?

"My mother is good at to bake cookies" or "my mother is good at baking cookies"

Is there a preposition? There sure is! In this case, the preposition is "at" so the

second answer is the correct one. How about this one:

"you should always wait one hour after eating before going swimming"

or "you should always wait one hour after eating before to swim"

"Before" is also a preposition so you should use the -ing form.

Other prepositions include: "for", "by", "in", "about", "on", etc. So keep an eye out for these!

Our last hack today relies on our knowledge of different words functions in a sentence

In general if the word is the sentence's subject or compliment,

you should use the -ing form. Sound confusing? How about some examples?

"My favorite outdoor activity is hiking"

In the first sentence, "hiking" is the compliment and could be replaced by a noun.

Or "Driving in the snow is difficult" here "driving" could be replaced by a noun

and it would be the subject of a sentence. See? That was easy.

So, there you have it: some great grammar hacks to make choosing between these two forms a breeze!

And remember: practice makes perfect, so don't be afraid to make mistakes.

discuss on about SEO, that means Search Engine Optimization.

Now in the first place we are about to create our first post.

So if we get back to post we can see that here is the all post, add new, categories

and tags; so we need to click on this 'add new' or you can directly create your first

blog post from here.

So we will be getting back to post and from here we will be clicking on this add new segment.

Now here we can see that this is the first part which is entitled as 'Enter Your Title'

here.

Now this is a very crucial part as it is the one that is practically determining the nature

of this blog post.

Suppose we are creating a post on web design and development.

Now in this particular case we need to make a focus keyword on which we shall be practically

focusing on.

So this is the first part that we will be ensuring.

We will be keeping that thing in our page title.

And the page title should be always unique in nature, something which is different than

the others.

So this is the first thing that we need to ensure and we are about to create a post on

web design and development; so if we create here....

Now this is the part on which we are practically emphasizing and it is the web design part

so this will be the focus keyword.

And if we click outside the box where we have provided this particular title; we will be

clicking now outside and now we can see that a permalink has been generated.

So this is the permalink that we have created.

If we now click on this edit segment, we can see that all the title part that had been

provided in the first place has been created over here as the permalink.

So that is why all we need to do we need to create a focus keyword that will be helping

you in case of Search Engine Optimization that means for the SEO purpose.

So this is the point number one you have to choose a focus keyword and you have to keep

that focus keyword into the title.

Search engines keep looking for keywords in our title as provided by the user; so make

it worthy.

In the second case we will have to create some category but before that you can select

all those format things those are present over here.

We are currently using a standard post.

We can use this aside, image.

If you want to create a gallery related post, then you have to select this gallery post,

or you want to some audio post then you need to choose this audio segment over here.

So these are all these formats.

Now just below you can see that this is the 'categories' section, and the default category

set is 'uncategorized'.

Now here is the place where you can create your own category.

Now what is the importance of this category?

Actually in the server, you need to put a quick method to distinguish your particular

posts one from another; so that is why you need to add some category there.

If we now just click on this add new category and here we are creating a post depending

upon this learn web design and development; so this should be the category such as....

Now this is the only category that has been created over here.

You can create more category like this and you can use them.

There is actually no limit, no particular limit and here you can set the parent category.

Like this is uncategorized, or this web design and development tutorial; suppose you are

creating another post on HTML which comes directly under this web design and development

tutorial.

In that particular case the parent category should be web design and development under

which this sub-category html or HTML and CSS or these sort of things; the more amount of

categories that you choose that should be appearing as a sub-category, of the main and

parent category which is known as web design and development tutorial.

Now we don't need to set any parent category here right now, because this is the first

blog or post that we are creating but in case of future cases all those things will be coming

under this segment and we will be sub-categorizing them.

Now the third and the most important point that practically helps you in keeping your

SEO up and keeps your site in a good and healthy condition is - tags.

So this is the place where you can use them.

And another thing while you are creating your blog post, then always do remember to provide

tags.

These are the particular keyword on basis of which your site or your post will be discovered.

This is a very essential part for search engine ranking and Search Engine Optimization.

This is the part that practically rank your site or ranks your post among the multiple

others.

Once again we are practically disclosing on web design and development tutorial for beginners.

So you can sectionalize them and you can use these keywords as your tags.

So this is what we are going to do; for say we are providing here 'web design', this should

be the first tag; then comes the ' web development'; then comes this tutorial; then comes learn

from beginning...

So these are the multiple tags; you can use multiple tags to ensure your site looks different

from others and you can easily add them in tagging your post, in tagging your site etc.

And another thing as we have told you previously, this is the most important thing in segmenting

your particular post to say about what it is on practically.

That is why never forget to add any kind of tags.

Now in the other case we need to set a 'featured image' here.

This is the first thing.

And in the second case we will be using some kind of images as we have seen in blog posts

that they use images and it's a kind of mandate over there.

So that is why we have to set a featured image in the very first case and in the second case

we need to use some images but this is the most crucial thing that whenever you are using

an image inside your blog post, do not ever forget to add alt tags those are present over

here.

If we now get back to media; we can see that this is the add new segment right click on

it and open this media file into a new tab.

Here goes the mandate; it says that the maximum uploading size is 3 megabyte.

Now whenever we are using our media files to upload some kind of images for say we are

uploading this images over here; then in every cases whenever you are uploading something

do not ever forget to use this caption, or alternative texts, or descriptions here.

So the 'flower in red' should be the alternative text; and another thing, alt text, this should

be relevant with the post that you are creating.

So if we are creating a post on web design, then you need to provide an alt text like

- the flower for web design.

You need to provide here a caption; if you provide it here you will see that we have

focused on this keyword web design; in a similar fashion you can create this description part,

you can insert something that will be describing this image; rest of the things that we need

to do here is to update; and this thing has been updated so far.

This is the post and this is the featured image; so if we now set a featured image;

we will be searching for our media item so..

I am searching for flowers, there it goes.

You can alter this title here - flower for web design here...

Now if you just set this featured image here we can see that the featured image is now

set.......

Infinitive vs. -ING: 4 Tips for Getting Your Verb Form Right - Duration: 5:25.

Hi everyone, this is Abbe from MosaLingua.

Welcome back to our series of English grammar hacks.

In this video I'm going to give you several hacks

for deciding when to use the infinitive form of a verb versus a gerund.

This is one often of the most difficult grammar concepts for English learners,

but today we're going to break it down and make it easy!

First, let's simplify the terms I just used. You're probably familiar with the term infinitive.

This is just the base form of any verb.

Basically this is what you'll look for in a dictionary for example.

Some examples could include "to buy", "to go" and "to watch".

A gerund is simply the -ING form of a word, so "buying", "going" and "watching".

Let's jump into some hacks to help you decide which one to use in different situations

Here's our first hack: the two forms are sometimes interchangeable

You can use either form particularly after emotion verbs

such as like, love, prefer or hate. So you can say "I love to cook" or "I love cooking"

Both forms are correct! Then you have verbs for which only one form is correct.

More often than not, using the incorrect form will change your sentence's meaning or

make it incorrect. This is often the case when you have two verbs in a sentence

and you need to choose the correct form for the second verb.

Let's say your two verbs are "miss" and "go out". Which one is correct?

"I miss going out with my friends"

or "I miss to go out with my friends".

In this case, only the first example is grammatically correct.

Hack n.2: as a general rule, we use the -ing form for verbs that are more abstract:

consider, deny, fancy, feel like and miss. All express abstract concepts

On the other hand, verbs with the two form or the infinitive form,

often are used to express concrete actions: ask, continue, help, decide, offer, plan, want.

Of course there are some exceptions

but don't worry about memorizing long lists now. The more you use them the better you

will get at deciding which one to use. Let me share a couple more hacks to make your life easier

Hack n.3: perhaps the easiest hack to remember is that

the ing form is generally used after a preposition. This is true in about 80% of cases.

Here at MosaLingua, we're all about learning the 20% of grammar

that will help us out in 80% of situations. Ready for some examples?

"My mother is good at to bake cookies" or "my mother is good at baking cookies"

Is there a preposition? There sure is! In this case, the preposition is "at" so the

second answer is the correct one. How about this one:

"you should always wait one hour after eating before going swimming"

or "you should always wait one hour after eating before to swim"

"Before" is also a preposition so you should use the -ing form.

Other prepositions include: "for", "by", "in", "about", "on", etc. So keep an eye out for these!

Our last hack today relies on our knowledge of different words functions in a sentence

In general if the word is the sentence's subject or compliment,

you should use the -ing form. Sound confusing? How about some examples?

"My favorite outdoor activity is hiking"

In the first sentence, "hiking" is the compliment and could be replaced by a noun.

Or "Driving in the snow is difficult" here "driving" could be replaced by a noun

and it would be the subject of a sentence. See? That was easy.

So, there you have it: some great grammar hacks to make choosing between these two forms a breeze!

And remember: practice makes perfect, so don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Diabolo tutorial: Genocide

Genocide enters a category a little different from suicides,

but rest assured that no one will die doing this trick,

on the contrary, we'll have even more incredible diabolists

In the genocides, in addition to releasing the stick,

the diabolo also leaves the string,

the string makes a turn in the air and picks up the diabolo again

there are several ways of doing it

but for me it gets easier if you put the diabolo in the backside,

which is basically the underside of the string

How are we going to do it?

simply throwing the diabolo up and picking it upwards

or by making two inverse trapezes then dropping it

then the trick begins!

I like to take advantage of this pendulum movement to the left.

and when it turns to the right, we'll release the right stick

then it will go around the left side of the body

and taking the diabolo underneath, already giving a wrap

the left hand does not lower too much, otherwise the string will hit the ground

With practice you will understand how to undo this knot without having to get the stick directly,

no that this is a problem

but I prefer to go undoing the knot while I pick up the string.

I think it's a little easier

Some common mistakes are,

throw the stick on the wrong side of the backside and roll everything

not giving enough momentum to the right stick,

and the diabolo falls before the stick gets it

miss the diabolo when it's in free flight, that is,

the stick goes through another place and does not take the diabolo

and the most frustrating of all:

do the trick all right

but mess up to get the stick after it wraps the diabolo.

With training and discipline you'll be able to do this trick,
