Youtube daily report Jun 4 2018

[ ♪ INTRO ]

You know that feeling.

All of a sudden, you hear your jam, and whether you're in the club or your living room or

a grocery store, you get that urge to just.... [music]

Start to do the move!

Well, While your moves probably aren't quite as awesome as mine, that's okay.

They're totally unique to you.

And weirdly enough, that means that people can actually learn a lot about you just from

watching you boogie down—and you can learn about them, too.

Dancing is one of the oldest forms of cultural expression and every studied culture around

the world does it.

It might be so ubiquitous because our brains just seem to like it, especially when we're

doing it with someone else.

Studies have shown that dancing with a partner makes us happier, for example, and that regular

dancing can slow age-related cognitive declines.

Plus, old people dancing is adorable.

But it turns out dancing doesn't just improve our happiness or health.

It also tells us a lot about other people.

It's a part of what psychologists call social cognition, which is basically how we make

sense of information about other people and social situations.

And it includes things like the intel we gain from reading facial expressions or tracking

what other people are looking at.

These subtle signals can help us avoid danger, get along with others, or take cues from their

behavior.

And scientists have found that we can glean a lot just by watching someone dance.

Kids can accurately interpret emotions from dance by age four or five, for example, and

can also depict a requested emotion by, say, making their teddy bear dance.

And adults can figure out emotions just from point-light displays.

You know, like those videos where LEDs are attached to someone's joints in the dark

and it all seems like random dots of light… but then something kind of snaps into place

and you realize it's somebody cycling or walking.

Well studies have found that we can tell emotions just by looking at those while someone dances.

But reading emotions is just the tip of the iceberg—or, the toe of the point shoe?

Studies suggest dancing might also relay key information about potential mates.

For example, a 2015 study involving 75 men and 84 women found that the women's judgments

of men dancing correlated with the guys' grip strength.

The men, however, weren't able to pick out the stronger women based on how good their

dancing was, suggesting that men and women extract different intel from the quality of

their potential partner's dance moves.

In case you were wondering, this quote-unquote "good dancing" is quantifiable, at least

when it comes to what specific groups of people generally find attractive.

A 2010 European study found that men were rated as good dancers depending on how much

and how variably they moved their neck and torso and also on how fast they moved their

right knee.

But not the left one, weirdly enough.

So just get that… boy going!

And a similar 2017 study found that good dancing in women involved big hip movements and moving

their right and left limbs independently of one other.

So get one up here and on up there.

Why these movements were deemed attractive isn't clear, and it's possible that the

definition of "good dancing" differs culturally or changes over time.

But it's still likely that the hottest dance moves seem so attractive because of the information

they convey.

And that includes things that aren't physical.

You can get an idea of who a person is from the way they twerk as well.

A 2011 study of 50 men and 60 women found that the women could detect risk-taking in

men based on how good their dancing was, for example.

Risk-taking is associated with good health and vigor and having lots of testosterone,

so it could potentially signal a good mate.

And a 2009 study found that there was a correlation between the way people danced and the 'Big

Five' personality traits, which are part of a popular model of personality that puts

everyone on a sliding scale for each of five overarching traits.

There were only 20 participants, so it was a pretty small study.

But, when researchers recorded and tracked the spontaneous dance moves that the participants

did to twelve measures of bluesy music, they did find correlations between how they moved

and how they scored on a personality assessment.

Those who scored high on neuroticism were more likely to have jerky movements, while

those who scored high on openness and agreeableness tended to have smoother ones.

And extraversion and conscientiousness were both related to faster movement.

So all you need to do to figure somebody out is be like, "Hey, show me your moves!", right?

Because that won't be weird at all.

Well, here's some good news!

You don't necessarily have to watch them dance—just dance a lot yourself.

Studies have found that people with a lot of dance experience are better at reading

other people.

And that may be because physically and mentally challenging activities can shape your brain.

A whole variety of different kinds of movement and gaming activities, from sports to video

games to chess, have actually been shown to improve cognitive skills, including social cognition.

For example, studies have found people with more experience dancing are better at making

sense of other people's dancing.

That may be because dance causes more activity in brain regions involved in mirroring for

them, which means that the parts of their brain involved in actually dancing really

light up when they watch other people dance.

This kind of neural mirroring is thought to be a big part of accurately interpreting social signals.

And in a 2017 study of 61 people who like to dance to hip hop, the more hip hop dancing

experience they had, the better they were at assessing the emotional state of people's

faces in photos.

From that, the researchers concluded that dancing made them better at social cognition

tasks even when those tasks weren't related to dancing.

So maybe Meghan Trainor is onto something.

Because whether you dance like yo daddy, move like yo momma, or just do what you wanna,

psychologists think dancing not only tells others about you, it might help you tell you

more about them.

And that's helpful whether you're looking for a dance partner or interviewing for the

job you've always wanted.

So get out there because science telling you to bust that move!

10 Natural Ways To Tackle Crohn's Disease - Duration: 8:03.

10 Natural Ways To Tackle Crohn's Disease

Tummy troubles are the worst, aren't they?

And for people who suffer from Crohn's disease, the specter of an upset stomach is constantly

looming in the background.

Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease that results in inflammation of your

digestive system.

Although any part of the digestive system, from your mouth to your anal passage, may

be inflamed if you have this condition, it most commonly affects the lower end of your

small intestine.

Crohn's disease typically causes diarrhea and abdominal pain.

You might also experience symptoms like fever, weight loss, and bleeding from your rectum.

While it's not clearly known what causes this condition, an abnormal reaction by your

immune system may lie at the root of the inflammation.

It might also have a genetic component as it has been found to run in families.

Unfortunately, there's no cure for Crohn's disease, though people with this illness do

experience periods of remission and relapse.

Conventional medicines and nutrient supplements are often prescribed to tackle its symptoms.

Many natural remedies too can help you manage the illness better.

Weigh in the following options with help from your doctor and get your condition on track!1

1.

Modify Your Diet: Avoid Carbonated Drinks, Gassy Veggies, And High Fiber Foods

Certain foods and beverages may irritate your digestive tract and exacerbate symptoms if

you have Crohn's.

Since all people don't react in the same manner to certain foods, it's important

to keep a food journal to track what could trigger your symptoms.

Here are some dietary tips that are typically helpful:

Spicy foods, carbonated drinks, fatty foods, and dairy products may be "trigger" foods

that cause symptoms like gas, bloating, abdominal pain, cramping, and diarrhea.

Avoid these to manage symptoms better and to give your intestines time to heal.

High-fiber foods such as vegetable skins, popcorn, nuts and veggies like broccoli, beans,

and cauliflower can cause gas.

The main culprit here is thought to be insoluble fiber which is difficult to digest and causes

gas and bloating.

Soluble fiber, on the other hand, can help lessen diarrhea by absorbing water in the

gut.

Many foods contain both kinds of fiber but peeling and cooking fruits and vegetables

as well as removing seeds reduce the content of insoluble fiber.

And refined grains have less insoluble fiber than whole grains.

Having large quantities of food can make it tougher to digest.

So eat smaller meals more frequently rather than 3 large meals in a day.

Also, remember to drink sufficient fluids.

Avoiding alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco may ease symptoms.

2.

Drink Lemongrass Tea Lemongrass is a fragrant herb typically used

in Asian cooking that has many medicinal properties.

And it might help those with Crohn's too.

When your body is injured or fighting an infection, your immune system gets activated and triggers

an inflammation.

It sends a flood of white blood cells to the problem area to protect your body.

However, if you have a chronic inflammatory condition such as Crohn's disease, the inflammation

persists and white blood cells end up acting against healthy tissues.

But citral, a compound present in lemongrass, can suppress certain white blood cells known

as lymphocytes which have a role in inflammation.5 Steep a few stalks of lemongrass in boiling

water and make a refreshing and healing tea.

Have this every day.

Remember to cut off the roots, remove any leaves, and bruise the base of the stalks

gently at the base before steeping.

3.

Have Fish Oil Omega−3 fatty acids present in fish oil

have anti-inflammatory properties which can help people with Crohn's disease.

A one-year study found that taking 2.7 g of fish oil daily more than doubled the chances

of remaining in remission.

Get in fish oil through fatty fishes such as herring, salmon, and mackerel.

Talk to your nutritionist to explore if you should have a fish oil supplement.6

4.

Take Psyllium And Probiotics Probiotic or helpful bacteria can tackle a

range of conditions such as diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, and vaginal infections.

And it turns out that by populating your gut with these "good" bacteria, they can help

with Crohn's disease too.

One study treated people suffering from Crohn's with Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus bacteria

as well as psyllium.

Psyllium is a kind of fiber which has prebiotic activity.

That is, it encourages the growth of probiotic bacteria in your gut.

It was found that the combination of prebiotic fiber and probiotics significantly reduced

index scores which measured both inflammatory bowel disease and Crohn's disease.

Probiotics are naturally present in fermented foods like yogurt but do remember that different

strains of bacteria have different effects.

So if you're planning on getting a healthy dose of probiotics from food, check the label

for the bacteria it contains.7 5.

Have Pineapples For Bromelain Bromelain is a mix of enzymes present in pineapples

that helps break down proteins.

It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Animal studies have found that it can ward off proinflammatory cells which play a part

in gut inflammation.89 Snacking on pineapples may help ease the inflammation

associated with Crohn's disease.

But since they contain both insoluble fiber and fructose, some people may not tolerate

pineapples well.

If you find that pineapples trigger symptoms, bromelain supplements can be considered instead.

6.

Add Turmeric To Your Diet Curcumin, a compound present in turmeric,

is known to have powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

A small study found that treating with 360 mg of curcumin thrice a day for a month, followed

by treatment with the same amount four times a day for a period of 2 months, resulted in

an improvement in Crohn's disease.

Incorporate turmeric into your daily cooking, be it soups or curries.

You can also brew yourself a soothing cup of turmeric tea.10

7.

Take Indian Frankincense Extract Ayurvedic preparations containing the gum

resin of Indian frankincense or Boswellia serrata have been traditionally used to deal

with inflammatory diseases.

Studies have shown that this remedy can result in a remission rate which is similar to that

from conventional therapy.

Compounds known as pentacyclic triterpene acids present in Boswellia serrata are known

to have anti-inflammatory effects and may account for its beneficial effects.11 12

Standardized extracts of the gum resin of boswellia are available.

However, it should not be used continuously for more than 8 weeks as it can be harmful.

It's also a good idea to speak to a doctor before using this remedy if you are on any

medication as it can interact with some medicines.13 8.

Drink Marshmallow Tea Marshmallow is another remedy that can help

people with Crohn's disease.

But we're talking about the herb Althea officinalis here, not the sugary treats that

you toast over campfires!

This herb helps by soothing the mucous membrane lining your digestive tract.

Make a marshmallow tea by steeping 2–5 gm of the dried leaf or root in a cup of boiling

water.

Have a cup of this healing tea thrice a day for relief.

Do keep in mind though that this remedy is not suitable for diabetics.

Also, since marshmallow can interact with lithium as well as other medicines, consult

your doctor if you're on any medication.14

9.

Try Homeopathic Remedies: Podophyllum, Mercurius, And Veratrum Album

Your homeopathic doctor will suggest an appropriate remedy for Crohn's based on your individual

constitution.

Factors such as your emotional, psychological, and physical makeup will be taken into account.

Some remedies that might be suggested include:

Podophyllum is used for those with explosive diarrhea which gets worse after eating and

leaves you fatigued.

Mercurius is used for bad smelling diarrhea which may be accompanied by blood streaks.

This remedy may be appropriate if you also experience body temperature changes and feel

fatigued after bowel moments.

Veratrum album is used for watery diarrhea along with bloat, stomach cramps, exhaustion,

vomiting, and chills.

10.

Give Acupuncture A Shot Acupuncture has traditionally been used to

treat inflammatory bowel disease in China.

One study administered 10 acupuncture sessions over a period of 4 weeks to people with Crohn's

disease.

They not only experienced a reduction in an index that measured the intensity of Crohn's

disease but also found that the treatment improved their quality of life and general

well-being.

Moxibustion, a process during which heat is applied by burning herbs at acupuncture sites,

may also be used by certain acupuncturists while treating this condition.

However, be sure to consult a certified acupuncturist to explore this option.

Day 22 The Quick, Easy and Effective Way to Communicate with your Team - Duration: 2:58.

hi it's Natasha here from inspire and Drive today is day 22 of my two-minute

tips on how to do more and grow your business and work less and I've

mentioned this before if you haven't seen some of the other videos those tips

to allow you to get more fun flexibility and freedom in your business usually

relate to three sort of areas time management how you manage your time

team management how you manage your people and self-management you know your

own mindset and how you manage your self and today I'm going to be talking

more about the people side as so if you have a team and if you don't have a team

yet then these are just things to file away in your back of your mind for when

you do have them so today's tip is have regular team meetings I have a lot of

clients who have teams and when I ask them how they communicate with their

teams or whether they do have team meetings they frequently tell me that

they don't and by not having these team meetings you are missing out on

opportunities frankly firstly when you have a team meeting it means you as the

leader only need to share a message once everyone hears the same message in the

same way at the same time people have an opportunity to collaborate and share

ideas in one of my other videos I talked about leveraging your team's strengths

and a team meeting is a great way to encourage collaboration and

participation and finally but not exhaustively and they are a great

way to build community amongst your team members and also for your team members

to understand the impact of their work on everyone else in the team I find when

people actually having regular team meetings their team feels more engaged

more informed more part of a bigger community and are just more productive

and more engaged and more excited about being at work because after all we are

communal beings and we spend a lot of time at work so creating that community

through a very simple team meeting once a week it only needs to be half an hour

an hour not long at all makes a big difference in your meetings so let me

know in your comments below do you run team meetings in your business and if

not is that something you might think about doing and would be valuable for

you if you like these videos please subscribe to my youtube channel inspire

and drive like my facebook page and like and share and comment because that is

great and I love to see all your comments there so that's all from me

I'll be back with some more tips tomorrow until then bye for now

Samantha Bee Gets Shut Down by Western Conservative Summit – 'Bullied and Harassed' Attendees - Duration: 3:15.

Samantha Bee didn't have a good week last week.

This week isn't shaping up to be much better.

According to The Denver Post, Bee's show has been denied media credentials to the Western

Conservative Summit at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver after her remarks calling

Ivanka Trump a "feckless c—" and suggesting she ought to seduce her father so as to change

his immigration policies.

In fairness, the organizers of the Western Conservative Summit — the largest gathering

of conservatives outside of Washington D.C. — said this wasn't the only bad behavior

that led them to turn down Bee's media credentials for the June 8-9 event.

"In 2016, Samantha Bee's production team came to the Western Conservative Summit.

They did not provide fair coverage," said Jeff Hunt, director of the Centennial Institute

at Colorado Christian University and chairman of the Western Conservative Summit.

"Instead, they bullied and harassed our attendees.

Conservatives are tired of being mistreated by the liberal media.

Shows like 'Full Frontal with Samantha Bee' are not intent on reporting but bullying and

shaming conservatives."

When Bee's not using her show to attack the first daughter with horrible slurs, she

often goes to events like the Western Conservative Summit, where she pokes fun at the people

who don't agree with her and says how awful they are.

Her show's 2016 segment focused on just a few of the summit attendees who she could

pick on and took a smattering of their words with little or no context and laughed at them

for supporting the "tangerine Caligula" that was Donald J. Trump.

I'm not going to post it here, but if you want to watch it, well, here you go.

Another segment during which her show poked fun at Conservative Political Action Conference

attendees ended up attracting more attention, this time because her show insinuated that

a young man who had lost some of his hair due to chemo had a neo-Nazi style haircut.

After that incident, Bee apologized (I'm noticing a pattern) but the young man was

relatively unmoved.

If this latest incident is any indication, Bee's going to essentially be locked out

of the conservative events which her show has made so much hay off of mocking.

Apparently, Hunt and the Western Conservative Summit weren't quite convinced by Bee's

apology in this case.

That's because she scarcely stood by it herself.

Just hours after this was tweeted, Bee said the real travesty was that her sexist vulgarity

obscured the plight of "about 1,500 missing unaccompanied migrant children," even though

the basis for that claim — and thus the righteous outrage that fueled Bee's segment

— was also falling apart by the time she gave her speech.

The great fear for Bee, of course, is that more entities stop associating themselves

with her show.

Sure, the Western Conservative Summit may be a bit of a blow, but that segment can be

replaced.

However, Bee is slowly becoming radioactive — even to some liberals, who might be willing

to let her off the hook but won't appear on the show.

So no, she won't be attending the Western Conservative Summit this week.

We get the feeling it will be the first of many times she gets told no.

Experimentando doces da confeitaria Dukan - Duration: 6:27.

Hello, friends. How is it going?

I'm Mari Ribeiro and this is my channel Flavor in Life

And today I'm trying desserts from Dukan diet

The method has this name because of it's creator, the doctor Pierre Dukan

The Dukan diet was developed by Pierre Dukan

he has also written books

The method is based on 100 aliments

66 sources of protein, 33 sources of carbs, vegetables

and oat

There 3 phases, the first two are focused on losing weight

the two last ones are two mantain

there are many methods

Dukan, weight watchers...

But I particularly can't eat always the same way

It's undenaiable that many people did lose weight following this diet

if they were able to maintain the weight or became healthy

that's a different thing

I don't like folllowing diets

or anything that restrict me

but my goal today is different

I want to judge the flavor of these desserts

Starting with this one strawberry flavored

this one is made of powdered milk skimmed and skimmed milk

sugar free gelatin powder

none of these repices have sugar in it

I used xylitol

This one surprised me

because I didn't use heat to make it, you only mix the ingredients and it gets hard

You'll feel the gelatin flavor

it's not sutil like regular strawberry recipes

but it's good, probably my favorite

gingerbread

let's not judge the appearance

look at the shape of it

I never made a regular gingerbread to be honest

but I shure know how it tastes

dude, the oat

oat takes everything over

you feel it's flavor more than everything else

I think it makes thing dry as well

maybe I should have added more xylitol

it's fine as a cookie

Now I'm trying the orange cake

look how bright the color is

because I used powdered sugar free juice

maybe fruits are not allowed in some phase of this diet

it's good

tastes artificial

but it's sour, acid

I like things that mix sweet and sour

my verdict is

I'm like an ant

I usually like sweets

and these ones are good

You don't necessarily have to cut off the sugar

but these are alternatives

I'm making more of it because I have ingredients left

I eat sweet everyday

but I don't want to eat refined sugar everyday

so this gives me options

if you eat sweets once in a while it's not a problem

but if you are like me

maybe it's time to diversify

and try healthier recipes

if you want to see more recipes such as these

leave a comment down below

hit the like button

to value the sacrifice I made today

follow me on my social media

I'm always posting easy recipes

That's it, kisses and I see you next time.
