(Brian Snyder/Reuters) Federal prosecutors accused former Trump presidential campaign chairman Paul Manafort of witness tampering late Monday in his tax and lobbying case and asked a federal judge to consider revoking or revising his release pending trial

In a late Monday filing in Washington, prosecutors accused Manafort and a longtime associate they previously linked to Russian intelligence of repeatedly contacting two members of a public-relations firm since February to secure false testimony about their collective work involving a group of former senior European politicians

The group, informally called the "Hapsburg group," was secretly retained in 2012 by Manafort to take positions favorable to Ukraine, for whom Manafort was working, prosecutors charged

In court documents, including an affidavit by FBI agent Brock W. Domin, prosecutors with special counsel Robert S

Mueller III allege Manafort and his associate — referred to only as Person A — tried to contact the two witnesses by phone and through an encrypted messaging program

Manafort, 69, has been on home confinement pending trial. Domin said that one of the public relations firm executives, identified as Person D1, told the government he "understood Manafort's outreach to be an effort to 'suborn perjury,'" and cause someone knowingly to tell a falsehood in the case by saying the group worked mainly in Europe and to minimize its U

S. work. Manafort has pleaded not guilty to charges including conspiracy, money laundering and bank and tax fraud charges in connection with his work for a pro-Russian Ukrainian politician and political party

In 2012 and 2013, according to the indictment, Manafort used offshore accounts to wire more than 2 million euros to pay the former politicians, who were described as independent actors instead of paid lobbyists

Prosecutors also filed notice of the allegation in Manafort's pending tax and bank fraud case in federal court in Alexandria, where Manafort is under similar conditions of conditional home confinement

Spokesmen for Manafort and the special counsel's office declined to comment on the filings

Elle est produite à partir de micro-organismes potentiellement transgéniques ou cultivés en milieux transgéniques

Si vous l'ingérez à fortes doses, des réactions telles que des diarrhées des vomissements, peuvent apparaitre

Cet additif peut produire aussi des difficultés à respirer, et des allergies. Il est important de demander l'avis de votre médecin avant son ingestion

</form>A devastated mum has revealed how her son is suffering from a rare disease that may cause him to swell up to twice his size

Rachael Ravenhill, 26, from North Hykeham, brought her son for medical treatment last January after noticing his face and limbs had become severely swollen, according to LicolnshireLive

To her dismay, doctors revealed that her boy, Dylan Eaglen, 5, was suffering from a serious and incurable disease

At first doctors diagnosed the boy with a sinus infection, but as his condition worsened his mum and step-dad, Craig, 29, sought a second opinion

Further tests showed a high level of protein in the schoolboy's urine which was causing his body to retain water

He was then diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome. The worried parents were told that nine out of 10 patients go into remission after being treated with steroids but Dylan was the unlucky one

A biopsy showed he had Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis – meaning his kidneys will always be scarred and leak as well as be at risk of a complete shutdown

"It has been awful and we are devastated," said Rachael, who has given up her job to care for her child full-time as well caring for her 18-month-old daughter

"Dylan only started school last September and he has missed four months so far. "He hasn't got a normal kid life

"He is in out of hospital appointment and has regular blood tests which he is terrified of

"When he swells up he goes up two clothes sizes [which] I'd say he was double his normal size

"It's horrible watching him go through that and as his mum it's awful not knowing what is going to happen

" Just seven in every one million are diagnosed with the disease every year and the condition currently has no cure

For now, his parents have to be mindful of how much salt Dylan consumes in his diet

He is also taking an anti-organ rejection drug called tacrolimus which suppresses his immune system but the side-effects often leave him susceptible to viruses and infections

"It's horrible to see," she said. "Sometimes he is so swollen that he struggles to walk

"He is always asking me when he is going to get better or whether he can take some new medication to get better

"He used to love running around outside like any other kid his age and going to school to see his little friends but he can't do that anymore "We bought him an Xbox but he is bored of that now – he is sick of being off school

"As his mum it is horrible to see what he is going through and not being able to do anything to help

" However, the mum is determined to do all she can to find a cure – including holding a number of fundraisers to raise money to support research into the condition

"We are planning a summer fundraiser and a few walks and runs," she said. "We have done quite a bit so far and have raised just over £1000

"As his mum I will do all I can to help my son and others going through this terrible disease

BTN's Ben D'arcy and Sarah Larsen recall some of the more colourful moments working for the program

The first presenter of the ABC's long-running Behind The News (BTN) program — and this is true — was beaten up by Chewbacca in 1977

Peter Sumner, reportedly the only Australian actor in George Lucas's original Star Wars film, had a speaking role as Pol Treidum, a gantry officer aboard the Death Star

BTN producer Sarah Larsen said Sumner's last moment in the film was when Chewbacca and Han Solo trick their way into a docking control room before "Han shoots a guard and Chewy whops another one on the head"

"Chewy knocked out the first presenter of BTN, which is a bit rough for the kiddies really," she said

BTN is celebrating its 50th anniversary this week, digging up the archives on past stories and presenters and unearthing some colourful stories behind the children's news program

One of these includes the infamous "pet porn" incident, which landed BTN on the ABC's Media Watch program in 2006

"They were doing a segment when they would put some photos kids sent in behind the presenter during the closer," Ms Larsen said

"This first pet on this particular day was a couple of kangaroos, and they were doing what kangaroos sometimes naturally do to each other, but really obviously front and centre behind presenter Krista Eleftheriou

"I've got no idea how it ended up on air." Another moment Ms Larsen recalled was the time BTN had a graphic taken from the internet that flashed through countless password configurations to help illustrate one of its stories

The package was ready to go to air when a producer with a sharp eye noticed "sex" among the hundreds of different words flashing across the screen

Outside of the occasional near miss, Ms Larsen said one of the fun parts of working with BTN was having to explain "the inexplicable to your serious journalist colleagues" while filming unique approaches to news and storytelling

"Like, why are there zombies wandering around the ABC? "She really liked BTN because it was the first show that didn't make her straighten her hair," he said

"Then there was Nathan Bazley, who presented for a decade, and is still working as part of the BTN production team

"He's really been one of the leaders into virtual reality and augmented reality

" For current presenter Amelia Moseley, who took over from Bazley when he stepped down earlier this year, the thought of life after BTN has not crossed her mind

"It's such an amazing opportunity and so much fun working at BTN and such a great team," she said

"Most recently it was my birthday and, happy birthday to me, I got to go to the poo plant and spent the day in absolute pouring rain filming in a very smelly treatment plant, but it was actually so much fun

Because that's a total disrespect of our heritage.

That's a total disrespect for everything we stand for," Trump said.

Trump added that if fans would leave the stadium when players kneel in protest during the national anthem, "I guarantee, things will stop.

The movement was originally kicked off by Colin Kaepernick, who was formerly with the San Francisco 49ers.

He drew national attention for refusing to stand during "The Star-Spangled Banner.".

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in 2016.

The White House Press Secretary released the following statement Monday evening:.

The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow.

They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.

The Eagles wanted to send a smaller delegation, but the 1,000 fans planning to attend the event deserve better.

These fans are still invited to the White House to be part of a different type of ceremony-one that will honor our great country, pay tribute to the heroes who fight to protect it, and loudly and proudly play the National Anthem.

I will be there at 3:00 p.m.
