The Sims 4: Reality show "Jungle Love" - Challenge - Machinima - Ep. 2 - Duration: 24:21.

Hi! This is Henry Greens and the show "Jungle Love"!

Our heroes spent a whole week in the jungle and it's time to sum up the first results.

Because today we have to say goodbye to one of the participants.

But first things first.

As well as all participants of the project, probably I will never forget my first day in the jungle.

It's like getting on another planet.

Everything seems so unusual.

Bright tropical plants.

New smells and sounds. New people.

Everyone had a wonderful mood as if it was some kind of party.

We talked, sat by the fire and just tried to have a bit of fun.

We looked closely at each other.

The first day brought a lot of excitement.

Especially I remember the moment when I found a funny plant near the toilet.

Everyone warned me not to come close.

They said: "This is Laganaphyllis simnovorii! It will eat you!"

But I approached it anyway, fed it a sandwich and we became friends.

After that, no one was afraid of Cowplant.

We even gave it a name. Triffida. I think its a girl.

The first day was so full of impressions,

that we are remembered about the daily task only when it is getting dark.

Gavin and I were chosen for the first expedition to the jungle.

He got the role of a pioneer. So Gavin began to clear the way for us.

Making my way through the jungle, I came across a very strange egg.

Was it magic or my wish, but I desperately wanted to protect it, take it to a safe place.

Nearby, I found a cave.

The dark passages led me to a huge hall.

I put the egg in the nest near the hot lava.

And at that moment an unknown creature hatched from it.

I was surrounded by light.

Then I woke up in the jungle.

A small bright sun shone above my head.

It was the blessing of Personal Sun.

I read a lot about the Omiscan Temple and its magic nature.

Here you can receive a blessing or get the curse on your head.

You know, I was looking forward to this trip, hoping to try myself as an archaeologist.

However, digging was much more tiring than I thought.

It remains to hope that with new relationships things will be easier.

The morning of the second day was very different from the first one.

Сrumpled and sleepy faces sadly plodded to the smelly toilet.

The jungle no longer seemed to us to be a holiday on the paradise island.

Extreme conditions. Fight even for bushes.

I was hoping to raise my spirit by physical exercises.

I am no more a yogi then Raj a ballerina...

You know, I got feeling that i have some curse on me.

With my experience! And I failed to pick up girls in the camp!

All the female participants behaved very strange with me.

As soon as I started flirting, they was ranning away from me.

At first, I thought that I just had a nasty breath after the burnt marshmallow.

But, even the most disgusting smell could not have such a frightening effect!

If this is a curse, how can I get rid of it?

Gavin caught my eye right away.

He stood out among the other guys

While Akira and Don tried to impress the girls,

Gavin kept himself aloof.

He got a piece of clay somewhere and has been dragging that thing around the camp.

And when I saw him with the sun over his head, at first I thought I saw an angel.

Probably, at this moment I realized that Gavin is the most interesting person here.

After the task in the jungle, his authority in the camp increased markedly

Furthermore he started a new trend towards clay modeling among the participants.

Аccording to the daily task I had to go to the market with Zoe.

I got the role of Worker and I was on my way to the digging in mud and dust.

Archaeology is not for me, I think...

I liked Selvadorada. A cozy little town.

Local people are not in a hurry. Merchant's lunch lasts about 3 hours.

And what should I do in the market when I have so little money for purchases?

Yeah, Zoe clearly did not overwork herself.

When I returned, covered with mud, she was sitting in a bar and watching a movie!

It took only one glance to understand that the most suitable guy for me is Akira.

The rest of the guys were not considered as candidates.

Gavin is too boring.

Raj is sort of sick in the head.

Diego is not interested in girls, judging by his clothes and manners.

And Akira, although inferior to Don in external attractiveness, is charming and self-confident.

In my opinion, he has many advantages.

At least he did not have any relationship with my mother.

I like different girls.

Blondes, brunettes, redheads - it does not matter.

I'll be honest, it was pretty hard to keep my eyes off the some girls in the camp.

Zoe, Miko, Nina - each of them is attractive in its own way.

It's hard to say who I like more. Will see.

I got a role of a Pioneer again. Probably I'm lucky.

There's something special in this feeling

When you make your way through the jungle and waiting for a new adventures.

It seems suspicious to me that Gavin is always lucky.

Well, turns out he is a brave pioneer and I'm pathetic digger.

My main find was the berry of the tree of emotions.

The most valuable are berries of flirt. Flutterberries. Guess who was lucky enough to eat them?

Probably everyone thinks I have some kind of patronage on this show,

because I got one of the Flutterberries.

They have a very unusual effect on the body.

And how difficult it is to restrain your animal impulses ...

In order to not offend or scare away the girl that you really like.

I also tasted the Flutterberries that evening.

But, this doesn't mean that after that I flirted with everyone.

I'll tell you a secret. I was secretly in love with Akira even before the show starts.

I just wanted to make sure that I did not invent this love.

Of course, the show is just beginning. But, my feelings for him have not changed.

I'm not interested in the other guys.

And I'm ready to fight for Akira despite the large number of rivals.

To be honest, I'm sick of this jungle.

Bees attacks in the morning.

And at night these terrible tarantulas.

Hey, I'm not made for this!

In addition, the guys on the project are absolutely horrible!

Four-eyed Gavin is a legend in his own mind.

Diego - a snob in a stupid suit.

Don is a typical ladies' man, man who live off women.

It's not an option.

Raj is just a pig! Constantly spoils the air and digs in trash cans ...

Akira is just an dumbass I think, as he persistently does not notice all my signs of attention.

I think my beauty and grace deserve more.

Somehow there is a fire in the camp.

Gavin and Catarina sculpted from the mud and did not even notice the fire.

All start panicking and screaming.

Only Eve not to be afraid, pulled out a fire extinguisher and put out the flames.

What a girl!

Fire girl!

Peach girl!

Raj wants to tell her about it, but do not know how.

Don says that everyone in the camp see that Raj look at her, as if she were a chocolate cake.

And Gavin says that Raj should be a man and tell Eve about his feeling.

Raj try ...

But wrong... maybe.

Gavin and I got the task to go to the market.

Again this nerd was lucky.

And I had the role of a Worker

Therefore, I desperately tried to fix the broken crane in the camp.

And after that I had to dig for half a day.

I don't know... Something's wrong with Gavin... Everyone in the camp thinks so.

Is it fair that I have to dig while he's enjoying himself in the market?

While he drinks cocktails and sees local attractions!

I did not get enough sleep, my body itched from the stings of bees, I wanted to eat, I wanted to go to the bathroom after all!

It was a strike.

Hell, If you want to dig you could dig it yourself!

Morning in the jungle gives an unforgettable experience.

Singing birds, the smells of exotic flowers.

The smell of sausages, prepared at the stake.

Judging by the cries coming from outside, when I was sleeping in a tent, there was a serious attack of spiders that night.

In the morning we noticed that Eva had some green spots all over her body.

She clearly felt bad. She did not snarl at people and she have let me to hug her.

Gavin and I received a daily task.

We had an important mission,

To prepare the medicine, we needed to get bone dust in the Osmickan temple.

A terrible thing happened with me that night too.

All the adorable little Triffida nearly devoured me! Trashy weed ...

Nina, of course, defended her little pet and said that Triffida was just playing.

Eve laughed and said that my bones shocked even the Cowplant.

As for me. I have never felt so humiliated.

And the only person who supported me at that moment was Zoe.

I think I should take a closer look at this girl.

Don and I have got carried away playing cards and almost forgot about the daily task.

But, Eva was not in the best shape and we were supposed to help the girl like a real heroes.

The mood was fighting. We found the way to the temple.

Everyone here believes that being a pioneer is cool, but cut through creepers is not so easy.

The Omiscan Temple is terrific. And I was the first to set foot on these stones.

While Don picked berries and excavating, I began to examine the traps.

When i come back home I will certainly write a novel about this place.

I told the plot of the future bestseller to the totem and he appreciated it.

I dreamed of finding a treasure. When I get rich I'll buy myself a publishing house.

But, no such luck... It's good that I have a reaction like a cat.

The good news was that Don managed to find the bone dust.

Our main task was accomplished. It's time to return to the camp.

We returned to the camp in the morning and were terribly tired.

Raj was already making a fire.

Zoe was doing dishes.

It turned out that Eve feels much better. The green spots completely disappeared.

The bad news was that now I am needed a saving antidote.

On the way back I was bitten by bees.

I'll tell you one secret.

I had made a plot against one of the participants and now I regret it.

You know, I really like Don.

I just don't like how often he changes women.

I had to teach him a lesson.

So on the very first day, I told all the girls about his terrible reputation.

In a sign of solidarity, we girls agreed not to enter into a romantic relationship with him.

It's so difficult for me to resist. But, what will the girls think about me if I break my own agreement?

I was so glad to finally get out of the camp, even in the role of a Worker.

And Nina was so happy. She had long dreamed of the role of a Pioneer.

The excavation was much more difficult than I thought. But, I tried my best.

Gavin also visited the market to get the antidote prepared by a local trader.

It's a pity that we no longer have bone dust. It would be nice to stock up the medicine for future use ...

Nina, meanwhile, found a archaeology table and and examined our findings.

These things have risen in price, and with the proceeds we have bought a repellent from spiders for all.

It was a great relief for everyone.

When the girls returned from the market, we shared the berries of emotions. Me and Zoe got the Flutterberries.

It would seem the right time to tempt Zoe.

But all my thoughts were occupied by Miko.

Out of all the girls only Miko looked at me in a special way.

You know, I'm certainly not an expert in this. But, I think it's the wrong bees.

The "normal" bees do not bite you in the toilet at 4 am.

But, It looks like it's my turn to get covered with green spots ...

Finally I got the role of a Pioneer in the temple

My slave ... or Worker was Raj.

"Oh, If I am stuck here then maybe I can at least find a treasure" - I thought

They say that person who opens a gilded chest in the Temple gets half of all the money.

I was imagining what I could do with all that money and Raj as an obedient dog ran right behind me.

And here we see the Omiscan temple.

Gavin said, you need to look at the symbols to know which lever will neutralize the traps.

I even took a notebook and a pen with me.

I tried, but these damn symbols did not tell me anything!

And I tried to use a rule of thumb.

Actually, this method is not ideal ..

Raj dig and hear how Eve screams in the next room.

After a fire, Raj always carry a extinguisher can with him.

Fire was extinguish. Eve saved.

Eve was so angry and wish Raj go to hell with his jungle...

Raj, go to dig, then gather berries, and Eve was swim. Raj didn't found the bone powder.

In the camp Raj eat the pink berries and gave it to Zoe.

Zoe liked berries. Zoe gave such a beautiful smile for Raj.

It's true. Many here in the camp have shown a romantic interest in me.

Akira, for example, began to flirt with me on the first day.

The problem is that he behaves this way not only with me.

He compliments and flirting also with Miko and Nina.

I think he doesn't mind having a harem, but I do not like the role of the 3rd wife.

I don't know how things will turn out in the future, but by the end of the week our relationship has worsened.

Recently, Diego began to show interest in me. I was very surprised.

Because Nina assured me that he has no interest in girls.

However, Catarina have once noticed him peeping at her in the shower.

So, a couple of days ago he sent me a love letter, simply sms. And I answered.

We have enjoyed sending romantic text messages to each other.

A somewhat strange way of communication. But, this correspondence amuses me immensely.

Everyone in the camp noticed that Raj likes Eve. But she always treated him with disdain.

Even the fact that Raj saved her from the fire in the temple did not affect her attitude.

I do not know what moved me. Maybe I was impressed by his act.

Or maybe it was the effect of a flirt berry, but I started flirting with Raj.

Maybe he is not a charming prince but he looks really like a good guy.

I think I should give him a chance.

There is something else. I don't even know how to tell about this ...

A couple of days ago our friendship with Catarina turned into something ... different.

And now, when I see her with Gavin, I have a strange feeling.

I do not understand. Whether it's envy, or jealousy.

All this puzzles me.

So, our interviews with the participants are over and it's time to count the points.

Let's greet our heroes!

Beat the drums! They are already coming here!

So, Zoey leads the week.

She has 4 romantic affairs and 6 friends.

4.6 points of the relationship in total.

In second place is Catarina. She has strong friendly relations with three participants,

and also got a couple of romantic affairs.

The third is Akira, who has a romantic interest in 3 girls

And also has friendly relations with the five participants.

Gavin has 2 points.

It looks like he's focused on one girl.

Nina is the fifth.

At the end of the week she has 3 friends, one good friend and one romantic relationship.

Raj is the sixth. He scored 1.6 points.

He has one romantic affair and six friends.

Next on the list is Diego.

He finished the week with a score of 1.5 points.

Miko got four friends this week.

And also began a romantic relationship with one of the participants.

The remaining two participants, Eva and Don, did not have a romantic partner.

Therefore, they scored very few points of the relationship.

This is very risky for them.

Because one of them will leave the project soon.

Come out, guys. One of you will have to leave the show today.

Who it will be - our viewers will decide!

Write us in the comments, who, in your opinion, should stay on the show.

We are very interested to know your opinion!

And it is possible that your comment will decide the fate of our heroes.

It was Henry Greens. I'll see you on the Simlish Television in a week!

And may the Love of Jungle be with you!

OnePlus 6 vs S9+: In-Depth Camera Test Comparison - Duration: 11:21.

Hi guys, it's MTG here, and as promised I have another OnePlus 6 camera comparison

for you today.

Make sure to have that notification bell clicked to be the first to see my next camera comparison

with the iPhone X.

In this video, I'll be comparing the OnePlus 6's camera system to the Samsung Galaxy S9+'s

camera system.

I'll be comparing them in various lighting conditions, and I'll also take a look at the

video and audio qualities of both phones.

In this video, everything was set to automatic.

Let's get right into it.

The S9 plus has a dual-12 megapixel camera setup.

The main, wide-angle camera can automatically vary between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures, whereas

the telephoto camera is a fixed f/2.4.

The second telephoto camera allows for 2x optical zoom, and helps with the depth-effect

pictures.

The S9 plus can shoot 4K and 1080p at 60 fps, and 720p at up to 960 fps.

Both cameras have optical image stabilization.

The front camera is 8 megapixels and has an aperture of f/1.7.

It can take portrait-style pictures using software and can record video at up to 1440p

at 30 fps.

The OnePlus 6 also has a dual camera setup.

The main camera is 16 Megapixels.

The secondary camera has the same focal length, is 20 Megapixels, and is said to help with

portrait mode pictures.

They both have f/1.7 apertures.

The camera can record up to 4K at up to 60 fps and 1080p at up to 240 fps.

The main camera utilizes both gyroscope-based electronic image stabilization and optical

image stabilization.

The OnePlus 6's front camera is an impressive 16 Megapixels with an f/2.0 aperture.

It utilizes gyro-based EIS and has auto-HDR capabilities.

It can record video at up to 1080p at 30 fps.

Before I begin the side-by-sides, I wanted to say that the OnePlus 6 produces images

that are shockingly comparable to the S9+'s.

A lot of the differences will come down to how each of the phone's manufacturer chooses

to process their images.

So keep this in mind as I go through the different shooting scenarios.

I will first take a look at pictures shot in great lighting.

The amount of detail each camera is able to pick up is great.

Here we start to see some of the differences in image processing between the two phones.

Both the sand and the water are slightly different shades on each phone.

This picture shows that OnePlus does try to make the colors pop.

The OnePlus 6's image looks more saturated.

Again, the OnePlus 6 produces the more saturated picture between the two.

And it also appears that it produces the warmer image.

The amount of details each phone is able to pick up is so similar, that in good lighting,

it really comes down to the look that you prefer.

What's weird is that every once in a while, the OnePlus 6 will produce an image like this

that has colors that don't pop nearly as much as the other images it produces.

But the overall trend holds most of the time.

Overall, both cameras produce great pictures when there is great lighting.

You wouldn't be disappointed with either camera.

But smartphone cameras have been performing well in great lighting for years.

So now I want to shift to more challenging lighting conditions.

Both cameras have terrific HDR capabilities, and actually did great jobs even when the

lighting was not ideal.

In this image, I think the S9+ was able to pick up more details like the different shades

of the tree trunk, but the OnePlus 6 did a great job keeping the entire image bright.

This shot is challenging because the foreground is barely lit, and there is lots of light

coming in through windows in the background.

I have to admit that the OnePlus 6 produced the better image in this case.

The rock under the dinosaur is better lit and the light coming in through the window

is better handled in the OnePlus 6's image.

In this image, the S9+ was able to better maintain the colors and lighting of the foreground,

whereas the OnePlus 6's image was darker and seems to have a lens flare.

But it should also be noted that the OnePlus 6 was able to pick up some detail through

the window and was even able to capture the frame of the window.

This shot shows how great the S9+'s HDR capabilities are.

The S9+ produces the better balanced image.

It's able to not let the light overpower the image from the background, and it's also able

to maintain a lot of the details in the objects in the foreground.

In this image in an airport, the same trend holds.

The S9+ doesn't do as good of a job with maintaining the blues of the sky out the window, but it

is able to produce the more well-rounded image.

The foreground is brighter and more colors are preserved in the S9+'s shot.

Now I am going to look at the portrait modes of both phones.

With the S9+, you are able to change the amount of background blur after you take pictures

in its live focus mode.

And whereas the S9+ has a telephoto camera for its portrait style pictures, the OnePlus

6 relies heavily on software and also on some information from its secondary camera, which

has the same focal length as its main camera.

Since the OnePlus 6 doesn't use a telephoto camera, it's able to maintain a wider angle.

I took these two images from the same spot, but the OnePlus 6 is able to pick up so much

more of the scene from the same vantage point.

The S9+ is able to better define edges than the OnePlus 6.

Here, the subject's hat and part of the railing is blurred even if it is in the foreground.

Also, the OnePlus 6's slight oversaturation is more obvious here with pinkish skin tones

and the pinkish Supreme logo.

This image of me, however, shows that the OnePlus 6 is capable of some impressive portrait

mode shots.

I am even slightly over-exposed on the S9+'s image.

But still for most images, the S9+ is able to pick up more details in the subject's face,

and is able to produce the more true-to-life skin tones and colors overall.

And since the background blur can be changed after the fact, I can tune the blur to look

more natural than that of the OnePlus 6.

Both selfie cameras are also really great.

They both do a great job at capturing details in both my face and the scenery behind me.

The OnePlus 6 does the slightly better job of picking up details in the clouds, whereas

the S9+ has the slightly more true-to-life colors.

Note that the S9+ can also take portrait style pictures with its front camera.

Although it never really gets my hair right, it's still does a pretty good job.

Both phones are capable of shooting 4K video at 60 fps, but since this video is uploaded

at 4K 30 fps, that is what I set both phones to.

*video montage* Just like the pictures shot in good lighting,

the video you prefer will come down to the look that you prefer.

Both phones produce very saturated 4K video, but the color temperatures of each is slightly

different.

Both phones also have great image stabilization.

However, the electronic image stabilization of the OnePlus 6 may be a bit too aggressive,

making for jittery, less natural pans.

But electronic image stabilization algorithms could be reconfigured through software updates.

The OnePlus 6's electronic image stabilization carries over to its front camera, making for

very stabilized video.

However, to achieve this, the OnePlus 6 has to crop in quite a bit.

The colors are processed differently, so you should decide for yourself which you prefer.

In terms of audio, OnePlus, in my opinion, has way to aggressive noise cancelling algorithms.

My voice sounds so much less tinny, and much more natural on the audio from the S9+.

As I shift into lowlight, remember that the S9+ has a dual aperture.

It does a pretty good job of consistently switching to its f/1.5 aperture to let in

light.

With that in mind, the OnePlus 6's fixed f/1.7 aperture and software does a pretty good job

of keeping images bright.

In this lowlight shot, both phones did a pretty good job of keeping the image bright despite

the lighting conditions.

The S9+'s larger aperture seems to allow the phone to not have to rely too much on software,

creating the image that has the more accurate colors.

Again, the larger aperture, along with Samsung's improved image processing, is simply producing

the better photo.

More of the colors of the plant are maintained, and there is more detail overall in the S9+'s

image.

One downfall to the phone opening up the aperture is that lights may get blown out.

In this image, the OnePlus 6 does the better job of dealing with all of the different light

sources in the image, maintaining more of the shape and color of the fixtures.

In general, however, the S9+ will produce better low light shots with overall brighter

images, more accurate colors, and higher levels of detail.

At the end of the day, the S9+ probably edges the OnePlus 6 out more times than not.

But that's less of a knock on the quality of the OnePlus 6, and more praise for how

good Samsung has gotten its camera system.

People must remember that the OnePlus 6 is hundreds of dollars cheaper than the flagships

I'm comparing it to.

I don't think the OnePlus 6 has competition in terms of camera quality in anything close

to its price range.

My camera comparisons with the OnePlus 6 aren't intended to simply show which camera is better

than the other, they are to show how close, in actuality, the OnePlus 6 is to the best

of the best that cost three, four, even five hundred dollars more, even if it may not edge

them out.

I'll be comparing the two phones more fully in a future video, but for now I just wanted

to see how the camera systems stacked up.

I have one more comparison in the works with the iPhone X. I also have my P20 Pro coming

in on Tuesday.

Let me know in the comment section what you want to see next and what your thoughts on

this comparison are.

That's all I had to talk about today, thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next

video.

What's in my bag?【Eng Sub】 | Kasankasuisosui | H2O2 - Duration: 9:08.

Hello, I'm DJ Kasankasuisosui

Today I'm thinking of

introducing my bag

This bag...this bag?

This bag that I treasure

The brand is Jean Paul Gaultier

but the brand left Japan so

I cannot buy it any more

but for bags, I decide to only use Jean Paul Gaultier,

So I would go around second hand store to find Jean Paul Gaultier

Or when I find it online, I would have many of these in stock

Right now in my house, in this shape I have two tote bags

This iridescent color is really cute

and the gimmick that you have to push here to open is

I really like it

My favorite purse is,

You all probably think that the purse I would use is black,

Too bad, it's yellow.

This was given to me by my ex boyfriend on my birthday

It lasts really long,

good leather

Thank you ex!

In the back, there are a lot of purikura picture stickers on the back

In my waiting time I would take a look at them.

Next can be found in any other house

Protein

I would drink protein before excersize

Musashi Fat Mobilizer.

This makes me thin and gives me great muscle

Good, really good

and calorie mate

I think you all have it

There is always one in my bag

My favorite taste is chocolate

I don't like my normal meal so much

and I only eat calorie mate

Just to make sure when starvation attacks me

I always have calorie mate in my bag

When it runs out, I add it in

For worst cases I have 2 or 3 inside

Mobile phone. This is the mobile phone cover I designed

It has an eye ball

I usually have it in my pocket

but have it in the bag today

And this one is quite an old type

ipod touch

I always listen to music

I would think this song is great

and be ready when I do DJ

This cassette tape design cover made out of silicon

is sold out

The color fade makes me sad

This is ipod touch 5

This is mainly for videos

Filming or taking pictures with my friend

That is how I use this

Since the storage for this one is small

so when I take videos or pictures I use this one

That's how

The case is Harris Tweed

bought at Shimamura

It had a price down to 700 yen

This one is a bit big

Mobile battery charger

I like the sticker of the now gone Smirnoff Ice Guarana taste is my favorite

It's quite coming to an end

but can't throw away

And I like Splatoon

I have this moving sticker on

It's super heavy

And this one. Frisk. I need this Frisk

I don't want to be out without Frisk

Swimmer's mirror which doesn't exist any more

This may be a surprise

but I pretty much like this mirror

and I like to carry it around

This year's calender notebook

There is always a rule to stick a strange sticker on the cover

My own rule

In 2017 I had a 3D sticker of the 1st Kamen Rider

This time it's Evangelion

Changing picture sticker. I like the change

I have a sticker which the picture changes

I bought this at the 100 yen store

I like this series every year

I like the type with the band which doesn't open so easily

I think you can find this in every household

Hip Flask

I can drink great vodka anywhere

My recommended way of drinking is, drink up the Ilohas orange taste to 1/3

and add vodka to it

Shake it well

Just drink and walk around

is what I like

That is why I carry it around

This one is...IC card case

Why do I....why do I....

love cassette design

Two cassettes inside

A book said a gentleman would have two handkerchiefs

That's what I heard so I have three

This is a Hatsune Miku handkerchief

This, a normal towel handkerchief

Hitagi from Senjogahara

This is for the meal

For when someone gets hurt

and for when you spill something

This one is...

Pouch for outside

This is for quick makeup redo

Or when I go to a club

and think I should make the makeup heavier

For those times I carry this around

Mouthwash is also inside

Game Gear pouch

It contains accessories

Bought at VIGO

As I heard it was Game Gear collaboration I couldn't resist

Game Gear was heavy but was the most advanced back then

And this one is...well...

My Military Otaku side is shown

Medic pouch

I carry this around when someone gets hurt

On the key chain I attach Poptepipic based on my feeling

Popuko from Poptepipic

When I become like this feeling

but when I see it, it calms me down

How was it?

The inside of Kasankasuisosui's Jean Paul Gaultier

I do Twitter

I am working as a DJ and the CEO of Hashimoto Shoji

If you access to the link below

My private life is all in the open

I am doing DJ in the farthest north of Honsyu Island

Maybe some people will wonder where that is

When Aomori is like this,

Here

People who can come, come here

When you ask someone where the farthest north club event in Honsyu is,

people will say "It must be DJ Kasankasuisosui" (No they won't )

La naissance d'un tonneau (4/4) : La symphonie des arômes - Duration: 4:26.

To market their barrels, Thierry Doreau and his staff travel a lot.

They need to meet with their customers to understand their needs

and even sometimes for research and development.

We are going to have a look at the 2016.

Let's taste here.

That's a batch of Merlot.

They're the most concentrated as they are the richest in tannins.

They're actually the ones that are going to handle the barrel the best.

For the past 20 years,

we've been doing cooperage trials, and every year,

we try either new barrels, new types of wood, or new toasting.

One year we try wood of a different origin, or a different grain.

Another year, we focus on the toast: the length, or the intensity of the toasting profile.

That way, little by little, year after year,

we are able to have our own base, and evolve together.

The important thing is to evolve together.

The demand of the customers evolve too,

so it is important to adapt to trends.

The idea is to give some structure,

some body, some sweetness, some roundness,

but we have less and less oak and toast flavours, we don't want to overpower the wine.

We have changed for the past 15 years ago,

we have less and less oak impact, the consumers don't want oaky wines anymore.

Nevertheless for these wines, the barrel is essential.

The barrel is one of the extremely important element in our wine making process,

as it's nearly one of the only external element to our production,

we are not the one producing them.

And it has an impact on the wine.

When I buy a glass bottle, never mind how beautiful it is,

it doesn't have any organoleptic impact on the wine.

But a barrel does.

So the choice of the cooperage, the barrel, the wood type, is essential to a winery.

The wine market represents 40% of the cooperage's activity, in France but also overseas.

The remainder is devoted to producers of Cognac, who were Thierry Doreau's first customers.

We thrive on their knowledge,

we don't make the brandies, we don't make the Cognacs, we don't make the wines,

but we're here to assist them, to enhance them.

This one went into oak this winter, just after distillation,

it doesn't really have much colour yet.

But we can see the barrel's work.

It's already showing, there are some vanilla notes coming through.

You need a barrel that really has good volume.

It comes first from the nature of the wood,

so we are going to use open grains, similar to Limousin grains,

but with quite powerful tannin structure.

We are going to mature this kind of wood for 36 months in our wood yard,

to extract any harsh tannins

and we are going to add a toast that is it relatively powerful,

penetrating, but also a bit on the surface,

which is going to support the spirit and give roundness.

You have to think long term,

there has been a first ageing of a year and a half,

and then this brandy is going to stay for how long?

Around a year and a half.

As the years go by, the Cognac takes more and more its golden colour,

and releases powerful aromas.

It begins to be really fine, with a lot of roundness on the nose.

Here, in terms of colour, the wood is perfect.

This one is fantastic.

We now rediscover these aromas in a guitar.

Thierry Doreau found a way to recycle the staves from Cognac barrels,

asking a musical instrument maker to make a guitar for the artist Gaelle Buswel,

who was playing at the Cognac Blues Passion Festival.

La naissance d'un tonneau (3/4) : La magie de la chauffe - Duration: 5:04.

After the air drying process, the raw staves go through the final transformation

to become barrel staves,

the curved pieces of wood used to make up the barrel's wall.

The site in Gensac-la-Pallue is dedicated purely to the production of barrels.

These are the steps for the toasting of the barrel.

What we saw in the previous stages, was the wood-laying,

we pre-assemble the barrel,

then we pre-heat the barrel, we build a fire inside, then we sprinkle on water, what is actually going to heat up the wood,

water is going to allow the dilatation of the grain.

Once we reach the required temperature,

we move onto the arching stage,

where we strap a cable at the bottom of the barrel.

We then apply pressure to tighten it, still under heat and humidity,

which allows the barrel to take its final shape.

In a cooperage, nothing goes to waste.

For the toasting process, we use oak offcuts from when the staves were cut to size.

Here we are on the key stage. This is where we enrich the aromas.

Depending on the kind of toast we are after,

depending on the range, some toasts are more or less dark,

more or less penetrating,

and that what's actually going to influence how we reveal the aromas.

More on vanilla characters, more on toasty characters, or more on grilled almonds characters.

If we work on wine barrels, we are going to be after something finer,

we are going to look for more floral notes and length.

Whereas on spirit barrels,

we are going to work on something way more powerful,

we are going to look for more liquorice characters and something woodier.

Here we've got an example of the different kinds of toasting that we can do.

Here we've got a relatively light toast,

called medium minus toast,

then a medium toast, and then a toasting suited for Cognac.

That's what's called bulrush.

We put them in between pieces of the barrel heads.

This will help the waterproofness,

as we don't have the same tightening pressure on the head as on the barrel itself.

The manufacturing is strictly monitored.

Controls are in place on each step of the barrel making,

right up to the final test: the waterproofness test.

The barrel is then engraved, and dispatched for the customer's winery.

But Thierry Doreau doesn't only produce barrels.

He has also kept a repair workshop in Sigogne.

That's actually how he began to work in the cooperage industry,

after getting a professional qualification in carpentry and cabinet-making.

When I came back from military service,

I found a job in a cooperage in Segonzac,

and completely fell in love with the work.

It was a revelation, love at first sight, and that's how the adventure began.

I began my own business only with a hammer and a barrel chisel,

the essential tools for a cooper.

Well, these ones are not mine, but I still know how to use them.

And that's how this beautiful adventure began.

I got lucky as I was able to work with fellows,

I was selling my services.

What was extraordinary for me was being able to invoice my time.

I can remember I had a little notebook.

In the evening, I was coming back home, with my toolbox,

I've work that many hours, and I was preparing my invoices.

At that time, in the 90's, even though it's not that long ago, it was not something very common.

Thierry Doreau created his cooperage in 1989.

The first year, he sold 2000 barrels.

Nowadays, more than 20 000 barrels a year are produced for the best Cognacs and wines.

La naissance d'un tonneau (2/4) : Faire vieillir le bois, comme le vin - Duration: 3:08.

Once the logs are selected, they are send to the stave mill,

a place where raw staves are produced,

the sections of timber

that make up the wall of the barrel.

Here is where we transform the log into raw staves,

so you've seen, we take delivery here,

and we take inventory

to what was done in the forest, with a precise list,

and then we'll bring them into the workshop. Then we proceed to the first step; splitting

and rough cut to size, depending on the type of barrel,

as they have different lengths.

If it's wine or Cognac, they won't necessarily have the same lengths.

Is it important to have your own stave mill?

Yes, it's important, firstly to control the quality.

For supplies, as you've seen, it's a profession

where demand is really high, and with a lot of pressure.

So it's important for us that throughout the supply chain,

which means tractability, quality,

and of course that which makes our company's value as well,

we guarantee supplies that allow us to produce and sell barrels imbued with our qualities.

So what quantity of staves do you produce in-house?

These days, we produce around 65% of what we need.

The remaining comes from suppliers with whom we have agreements

and who work to the same criteria.

The raw staves are then air dry for 18 to 36 months,

the goal being to get rid of some of the tannins

that could impair the wine or spirits,

and only keep the finest.

During this period, only natural elements are working on the wood's maturation.

So they're drying, but you said as the same time they're getting rained on?

Yes of course, all meteorological phenomena are important to us.

Wind of course, rain for rinsing,

actually we can see after strong rain,

a yellow coloration at the bottom of the pallet, that's the tannins that have been extracted from the wood.

Then of course, there is the sun.

Frost in winter is important too,

there is a dilatation between the frost when it's cold,

and the sun when it's warm,

the dilatation is not the same,

and all these elements help the ageing and the maturation of the staves.

Between three and four thousand cubed meters of raw staves

pass through this wood yard every year

before going on to the cooperage's work shop.

That's all I had to talk about today, thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next

video.

Rafael Nadal brushes aside Maximilian Marterer to ease into quarter-finals

Spains Rafael Nadal (R) is congratulated by Germanys Maximilian Marterer after winning, at the end of their mens singles fourth round match on day nine of The Roland Garros 2018 French Open tennis tournament in Paris on June 4, 2018.

Image: Eric FEFERBERG / AFP Rafael Nadal moved a step closer to an incredible 11th French Open title on Monday by seeing off German Maximilian Marterer in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals.

The world number ones 6-3, 6-2, 7-6 (7/4) victory over the world number 70 saw him equal the record of 12 last-eight appearances at Roland Garros, which was set by Novak Djokovic the day before.

It is the 35th time the Spaniard, who turned 32 on Sunday, has made the quarters of a Grand Slam tournament.

Nadal will face Argentinian Diego Schwartzman for a semi-final spot, after the 11th seed staged a thrilling comeback to down sixth seed Kevin Anderson 1-6, 2-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7/0), 6-2.

Top seed Nadal is now on his own in third on the all-time list for most match wins at Grand Slam events with 234 victories.

Sport 14 hours ago In the womens sets also on Monday, world number one Simona Halep blazed into the French Open quarter-finals by crushing Belgian Elise Mertens 6-2 6-1 as she showed her full range of weapons on Monday.

Romanian Halep, twice a runner-up at Roland Garros, started slowly but once she found her groove, there was nothing the 16th seed could do to avoid a one-sided defeat.

Saved by fading light the night before, there was no escape for world number two Caroline Wozniacki on Monday as she lost 7-6(5) 6-3 in the French Open fourth round to Russian Daria Kasatkina.

Kasatkina, the 14th seed, led 7-6 3-3 on Sunday when play was called off but any hopes Australian Open champion Wozniacki harboured that her 21-year-old opponents level would dip on the resumption proved fanciful.
