South Korea's steel industry had been the target of almost 100 import restriction measures

since 1991.

And amid the current climate of trade protectionism, Korean steel has been hit with six restrictive

measures already this year.

South Korea's steel industry has long been the target of global trade protectionist measures.

Data released by the local steel industry and the Korea International Trade Association

shows that since 1991, Korean steel products have been hit with 95 cases of anti-dumping

duties, countervailing duties and import safeguards.

Restrictions on steel imports accounted for nearly half of the import restrictions for

all South Korean exports.

Those restrictions have come from 18 countries and from the EU trading bloc.

But 28 of those 95 restrictions have come from the United States.

And in this year alone,… the U.S., Canada, EU, and Turkey have placed six new restrictive

measures on Korean steel products.

According to an expert from KITA,… trade protectionism in the steel sector is due to

the difficulty countries have restructuring their domestic industry.

He also added that,… there is an excess supply from newly emerging steel producers

like China which made heavy investments from the early 2000s up until the global financial

crisis.

With the revision of the U.S.-South Korea trade deal in March,...

South Korea's steel exports to the U.S. are restricted to a quota of about 2-point-68

million tonnes.

And the six restrictions placed on Korean steel by other countries this year add to

concerns among Korea's steel producers.

The allegations were baseless and Sessions was cleared—in fact he never even knew about

the inquiry.

But McCabe is leaking it to the media to make it seem like his termination was payback for

investigating the Attorney General.

MCCABE FOR WHAT SESSIONS CALLED A "LACK OF CANDOR," MCCABE OVERSAW A FEDERAL CRIMINAL

INVESTIGATION INTO WHETHER SESSIONS LACKED CANDOR WHEN TESTIFYING BEFORE CONGRESS ABOUT

CONTACTS WITH RUSSIAN OPERATIVES, SOURCES FAMILIAR WITH THE MATTER TOLD ABC NEWS.

DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS HAVE REPEATEDLY ACCUSED SESSIONS OF MISLEADING THEM IN CONGRESSIONAL

WAS DUE TO RETIRE FROM GOVERNMENT AND OBTAIN A FULL PENSION, BUT AN ATTORNEY REPRESENTING

SESSIONS DECLINED TO CONFIRM THAT."

In his confirmation hearings, Sessions stated he never met with Russians as a member of

the Trump campaign.

The Deep State then leaked that he held a meeting in his Senate office with the Russian

Ambassador.

But Sessions did not disclose that meeting on the advice of the FBI because it was in

his capacity as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and was normal business

for someone in his position.

But left-wing Senators Patrick Leahy and Al Franken recommended Sessions be investigated

for perjury and McCabe complied.

ABC also reports:

"TWO MONTHS AGO, SESSIONS WAS INTERVIEWED BY MUELLER'S TEAM, AND THE FEDERAL INQUIRY

RELATED TO HIS CANDOR DURING HIS CONFIRMATION PROCESS HAS SINCE BEEN SHUTTERED, ACCORDING

TO A LAWYER REPRESENTING SESSIONS.

"THE SPECIAL COUNSEL'S OFFICE HAS INFORMED ME THAT AFTER INTERVIEWING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

AND CONDUCTING ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATION, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL IS NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION

FOR FALSE STATEMENTS OR PERJURY IN HIS CONFIRMATION HEARING TESTIMONY AND RELATED WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS

TO CONGRESS," ATTORNEY CHUCK COOPER TOLD ABC NEWS ON WEDNESDAY.

ACCORDING TO THE SOURCES, MCCABE AUTHORIZED THE CRIMINAL INQUIRY AFTER A TOP DEMOCRAT

ON THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, SEN.

PATRICK LEAHY, D-VERMONT, AND THEN-SEN.

AL FRANKEN, D-MINN., WROTE A LETTER IN MARCH 2017 TO THE FBI URGING AGENTS TO INVESTIGATE

"ALL CONTACTS" SESSIONS MAY HAVE HAD WITH RUSSIANS, AND "WHETHER ANY LAWS WERE BROKEN

IN THE COURSE OF THOSE CONTACTS OR IN ANY SUBSEQUENT DISCUSSION OF WHETHER THEY OCCURRED."

McCabe's actions make it clear why he and former Director James Comey had to go.

They were partisan political hit men taking tire irons to the knees of the Trump administration.

It was a Democrat Party goon squad that weaponized their law enforcement capabilities against

the left's political enemies.

Adam Anderson wrote in his letter of apology that he and his wife had adopted Mbali 13 years ago‚ when she was a year old‚ from the Sandton Marlboro SPCA.

Mbali died at their home on Sunday night.

"I have acknowledged that I was completely wrong in disposing of the body of Mbali as I did.

I have expressed‚ and I continue to express‚ my sincere regret and remorse for my unacceptable conduct." The SPCA sent the letter out on its mailing list on Friday evening.

"I am aware that my apology will not change the facts.

Devin Nunes Sends Google a Warning About Anti-GOP Search Results: I Hope We Don't Have to Go There… - Duration: 3:39.

It has become fairly obvious over the past year or two that major tech companies and

social media platforms hold a bias toward the left that has increasingly resulted in

what many view as blatant censorship and smears of conservative ideals and voices.

But now a powerful Republican in Congress has issued something of a warning to those

tech companies — chief among them Google — and urged them to correct the perceived

problems themselves unless they wanted to be "reined in" by the federal government.

According to the Washington Examiner, the warning came from Republican California Rep.

Devin Nunes during an appearance on Fox News' "Sunday Futures with Maria Bartiromo."

At issue were recent reports of Google search results which turned up "Nazism" as a

top descriptor of the California Republican Party's ideology, just a week prior to the

state's primary elections.

Separate reports also emerged about search results for a North Carolina elected Republican

named Trudy Wade, whose top picture was one prominently labeled with the word "bigot."

Nunes first addressed those and other examples of bias, including his allegation that Twitter

was somehow censoring the popular Drudge Report, as he and others had been unable to easily

access it from the platform for several days, instead garnering "sensitive content"

warnings that hid posts from the media aggregator.

Nunes also noted twice that California conservatives have long been on the "front lines" of

this ideological battle with the left and aren't about to quit the fight.

The congressman was asked if there was any discussion of legislative measures by Congress

to address the ideological censorship issue, but Nunes initially demurred and called for

a competitor search engine to arise that would refrain from such censorship before congressional

action should be considered.

"I think there's a free market solution here if somebody can compete with Google,"

Nunes said.

"If they can't, then ultimately we're looking at monopolies and then that brings

in a whole other set of circumstances, is are these companies — Facebook, Twitter,

Google, Apple, etc. — are they monopolies and should they be reined in," he added,

essentially placing those companies on notice.

"I would hope we don't have to go there," Nunes said.

"I would hope that they just don't get involved in politics and don't censor conservatives

and Republicans, but if they continue to do it then we have to move obviously to hearings

on these issues."

The Examiner noted that Google has issued an apology over the offensive search results

its search engine returned that compelled the outrage and discussion in the first place,

though Google attributed the results to "vandalism" of a Wikipedia page rather than a display

of their own inherent biases.

"We have systems in place that catch vandalism before it impacts search results, but occasionally

errors get through, and that's what happened here," Google said in a statement with regard

to the California GOP "Nazism" mishap.

"This would have been fixed systematically once we processed the removal from Wikipedia,

but when we noticed the vandalism we worked quickly to accelerate this process to remove

the erroneous information," the statement added.

Were this incident an isolated event, perhaps the "vandalism" excuse offered up by Google

might hold more weight or be a bit more believable.

But episodes like this aren't isolated or occurring in a vacuum, and are instead becoming

all too common and increasingly blatant.

If these liberal-dominated companies don't want the government to step up and "rein

them in," they'd better start addressing the glaringly obvious problem themselves,

ASAP.
